Dr. Lee works to understand the full scope of her client's experience, regularly checks in about physical, mental, and emotional health, and offers options for support across all of these spaces while always being conscious of client comfort. She is great at offering treatment options without pressure, and I have found great benefit from how she integrates different modalities of treatment (including acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, electroneedling, TENS, and more) depending on the issues we're working on during each session.

TLDR; Alex is AMAZING. Recently I went to a popular local salon that's primarily known for its fun fashion colors. That might have been a mistake. After asking for a beige balayage with a shadow root and grey coverage (and showing a picture of what I wanted), I ended up with muddy brown hair with dark grey streaks. I got home (crying) and with many washes managed to get the grey toner out, leaving me with dense streaky orange highlights all over. I started looking for someplace trustworthy to fix my color. After seeing Salon Beck's reviews, I called, and was lucky enough to quickly get an appointment with Alex. Somehow she managed to fix my nightmare stripey hair, and turn it into the lived-in beige balayage I'd wanted from the beginning. If you're looking for that easy, stylish, and better than natural look, I cannot recommend Alex more. I'll absolutely be going back to her in the future. Regarding the location - the salon is classically elegant, and has the most comfortable shampoo chairs I've experienced. As far as accessibility, I'm a size 22, and was able to sit comfortably in both the cutting chair and the shampooing chair.

Went in to check it out and Laura gave me a tour of the facility and all of the services they offer. I told her I was interested in tanning and she let me know my first tan was free and if I liked the experience I could decide to purchase a package. I ended up purchasing a package and look forward to my next visit. The service was great and the facility was clean.

Dip powder professionals! I always get my dip manicure here because I trust their technique and color selection. I stay in the neutral sheer colors and they’ve noticed! They take consideration each time if a layer is too thick or too thin. Or if I like the shape. Which I appreciate. :)

This was the first time I received a reiki facial and it was top tier. Savannah has magic hands and even magical-er (if that's even a word) energy. I highly recommend this service. The massage was essential during my 65 minute appointment and I enjoyed every second of it. She uses healing crystals to heal your soul. I love that she creates a save space for you to relax and unwind. if you are looking for relaxation, Savannah is your girl and she has the magic touch! Savannah's studio is located behind a laundry building and she is in the yellow house. Once you open the door she was be sure to be there and greet you once you come in or within a few moments. PRO TIP: I recommend dressing comfortable because you'll undress from the waist up. (ie: removal of bra and shirt if you have breast). Of course a robe is provided and the table is fairly cozy and warm.

After having a horrible experience at a chain lash salon in the area, I decided to book an appointment with Lanie. Night and day difference. Lanie is so kind, thoughtful and hilarious. She is skilled at her craft and is a total perfectionist which I appreciate. I see her every 6-8 weeks for a lash lift/tint and brow wax/tint and have been SO happy with the results every time. Her setup is clean, comfortable and cozy and she just makes you feel so welcomed every time. The owners of Reve also exude warmth and kindness and that is exactly the type of energy I need at a salon! If I could give Reve and Lanie 100 stars I absolutely would. I am a lifelong customer now!

Vicky is a gem! I got paired with her for my wedding and am so happy with how everything turned out. She did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup and my mom’s and sisters’ as well, taking the time to listen and get to know me and also offering a lot of helpful advice when I wasn’t quite sure of the look I wanted to go for. Vicky is also incredibly detail oriented and brought loads of makeup and hair products (up three flights of stairs in our Vrbo!!) to make sure she was creating the perfect look for each girl. We had a hot summers day and the make up felt so light and did not budge in the heat at all. My daughter and I did our research and got matching rose tattoos, on a Sunday walk-in. I explained my vision to Ceil, and he absolutely NAILED it! So incredibly talented! I'm on my 5th tattoo from Joanne and I cannot say enough. Her line work, coloring and shading are exceptional. I have been extremely happy with every single design from start to finish. She is so wonderful to work with and the environment is very laid back and easy to sit through the needle work. My last piece is a side calf piece, full of color that she was able to complete in a six hour session. We were both tired but so happy with the outcome.
Bonus is that Martian Arts is in the coolest part of Portland with shops, cafes and restaurants to check out before or after your session! :)

I wanted a custom piece while I was in Portland for a convention and had a hard time finding a tattoo shop with good communication. I've been tattooed here twice by Virginia and would absolutely recommend her. The first time was after going through some testing for leukemia and I'm negative. I wanted to celebrate and so I came to Scapegoat. The person at the counter helped me pick out a beautiful flash and Virginia was willing to do it that day. Both of them were so nice it was a very good feeling. The second time I decided to just ask Virginia if she would design my leg. Whatever she wanted to do I put my trust in her. And she came up with a beautiful peony design for my shin. It's quite large. I get compliments on it all of the time. It is really important to have a counter person that makes me feel comfortable and women artists who are so nice and highly skilled.
I just had my second custom tattoo done by Court yesterday and I am so in love.
Last year, Court did a custom Mt. Hood tattoo on me as well as touched it up, and it healed so perfectly I’m obsessed with it.
I strayed and went to three different Portland shops for three different tattoos before returning to Court for another custom and safe to say I will not be going to anyone else again.
Court is the way to go - friendliness, comfort, availability, talent, price, cleanliness, and so accommodating.

Requested style: I sent Pedro a few screenshots and a basic description of my concept. He was able to turn those into a really good rough draft. From there, we discussed some changes and made some additions. The final draft was exactly what I wanted and left room to stylize it a little more along the way as we agreed.
Cleanliness: The shop is very clean and sanitation is clearly a priority throughout the tattoo process.
Got my lobes and helix pierced by Steven, he was very kind and thorough. He was extremely patient while I decided on correct placement. Steven did a phenomenal job with the piercing, did not hurt at all. Provided my friends and I very thorough aftercare instructions and made us feel like we could come back if we had any sorts of concerns. Overall, extremely pleasant experience with both Steven and Shane, would 10/10 recommend.

Edgar was fantastic! I needed a pesky garbage disposal removed under my sink for once and for all. I composte now so a garbage disposal is beyond obsolete. Edgar is a very thorough and competent plumber. He explained the process to me before he started work and also told me the cost which I agreed to. I found Edgar to be very professional and competent. I’m planning to buy a new sink soon and plan to use Meticulous plumbing for the job. Edgar gave me some specifications on the new sinks measurements based on my sink area space. I found him to be a very thoughtful plumber and I hope to have him install my new sink later this fall!

I also want to share the joy of finding someone who offers a solution to the problem without a callout. He identified my problem over the phone, and I fixed with a simple change to incandescent bulbs. It has been a week since Lupen Systems have installed our TVs on wall mounts. The quote we received was reasonably priced as it also included the wall mounts. We are very pleased with the quality of their service. They wore boots covers and brought a vacuum to ensure they don't track in dirt from the outside, and cleaned up the area after they completed their work. The wall mounts are super sturdy. They asked our opinions to ensure the angle of the TVs are installed to our preference. They work quick, but very efficient. They're also super friendly and professional. We had an issue with power not coming on after trying to install new lighting fixtures in the kitchen. The problem was beyond our abilities to fix. I called Red’s on Sunday, they scheduled us for first thing Tuesday but had a cancellation and were able to come earlier on Monday. Ronnie arrived and dove right in, she identified the issue and then found more issues that we had been living with since a recent remodel. She fixed EVERYTHING in record time! Grant, with Viking electric, was scheduled for us by our realtor. He came out and fixed an outlet as well as grounded our unit (which had previously been ground to the main line we had replaced). It cost around $500. He seemed knowledgeable and competent. As a young female, I found him easy to talk to and he explained things to me without talking down to me. Grant even looked over our inspection report to tell us if he needed to come out for any other work. He said the rest of the work on the inspection report was minor and could be done by my father (who is an electrician).

The service at this locksmith's is beyond superior. A patient, resourceful, skilled technician re-progammed the old electronic key fob for my 2009 Nissan Versa (I hadn't thought it possible). I witnessed two other customers being treated as graciously as I was treated, and with the same expertise. I would drive miles out of my way to receive East Portland Locksmith's services.
I have used Lance at Metro for several lock issues in my over-100-year-old house, now and am always pleased with his promptness, skill and courtesy. Pretty good service. The owner is super friendly and the young guys who took over after he left were great. You don't have to stay the entire time (they can call you when they are almost finished) so you can avoid awkward chit chat and don't have to sequester yourself in an uncarpeted room.. They couldn't get paint stains out of the carpet, but I didn't expect them to (paint is so difficult). The carpets were damp when they finished and they left the windows open so the carpet can dry (which was perfect and fast to dry on a hot summer day)
Sean came on short notice and fit us into a full schedule. He did an excellent job and I'll hire him again for sure. In addition to cleaning carpets and a couch, he cleaned the grout in a tiled bathroom and it looked like a new floor. Great service at a fair price! What more can you ask for?

I had searched for some time to find a cleaner willing to clean/repair a linen roman shade that had been water stained. Alameda Cleaners happily agreed to try and the results were fantastic - absolutely no evidence of the extensive water staining. The customer service, turnaround and pricing were terrific. Their work saved me the expense of replacing three roman shades. Following that success, I took an oriental carpet in for cleaning and had similarly good service. They will be my go-to for carpet and upholstery cleaning!

I'm pretty good at keeping things picked up I'm not sure not your typical Bachelor in that respect however a house cleaner not so much. I’ve been using Domestica ever since Shannon opened the business, I can’t remember how long but more than 15 years. Obviously, I’m very happy with their services. I have two commercial buildings which they clean twice weekly and an apartment building for which they do the turnover cleanings. Over the years I’ll have a tenant with a concern about something not getting cleaned. I forward on and it is always addresses immediately. If I need a specific area cleaned, they’ll do that. Overall, the cleaning is done properly the first time but if there are issues they are always addressed promptly.

Maxwell and his team are a joy to work with. Ordered cabinets and a quartz counter for my basement laundry room and the cabinets and counters were high quality, they came out and measured and then installed the counters (and they installed the undermount sink I bought), and everything was seamless! I called to get a quote on a Monday morning. Rhonda was extremely helpful. After I received a quote and tons of helpful information I said I would speak with my husband and call back. She explained if we would like to go forward with the service I could simply go online and click the “contact us” tab and fill in the information. They would have a technician call me to schedule. After speaking with my husband we decided to request the service. Within one hour of submitting the request Pete called to schedule. He set us up for Thursday of the same week. He estimated arrival between 1-2pm and arrived at 12:45. We are so pleased with the customer service and all around service!

They showed up earlier than they said they would and got right to work. They had to use a weed eater to mow the back yard, as it was waist high grass. They raked up all the lawn trimmings and bagged them, leaving them neatly stacked out front. They also mowed and took a weed eater to the front yard (which wasn't part of the initial quote) at no extra cost. Fast, efficient and professional and would definitely use this service again.

Our first introduction to Blessings was at the Portland Home & Garden Show in February this year where we met Rebecca. We visited about our landscape needs and she took our information to set up a consultation. We got a call not long after that with a time to meet with the landscape designer assigned to us. In about a month, we met with Roger Anderson to discuss our project and he said that he would have a plan/proposal for us within 3-4 weeks. Roger came to the house with a video, pictures of all the plants, pricing, and a plan for how the project would proceed - very impressive, but the best part was that Roger had listened to what we wanted and didn't want and came up with a plan around exactly that! We made a couple of changes in plants, but for the most part were absolutely delighted with Roger and the plan that he came up with for us!! He considered the different seasons of the year, as well as different colors and textures, and left room for the plants to fill in over time without looking all overgrown and bunched together! They had an opening in their schedule, so things moved pretty quickly after we got the boulders and paver pathway cleaned, which made a big difference in making the whole project sparkle. Installation took 3 days, with just excellent attention to detail by the crew handling it (kudos to Euclides Perez for his leadership!!). We decided kind of at the last minute to add lighting to the project and are very glad that we did!! That just happened to be another area of expertise of Roger's, so he hit it out of the park there, as well!! Most any project has a bit of stress that comes with it, but this one was four months beginning to end and we are just so pleased and it didn't really seem all that stressful!! For sure, Roger is our guy if we ever need any more landscaping done!!! He is just the best!!

Jason's team did a remarkable job removing 3 large spruce trees from our backyard. They were as delicate as they could be working around our backyard deck. They were here Wednesday, 11/15, to top and prune two ash trees. What work that was done was done well, and cleanup was excellent. But I feel that not enough of the trees was removed, and they charged $500 for an hour's work. I'm not upset, just a little disappointed. Note: your response notwithstanding, it still feels like less was done than earlier was agreed on.

We recently hired this company to take down a huge old cherry tree that had died in our back yard, as well as some other tree trimming work. The cherry was in a difficult spot but the crew did an amazing job. They were extremely careful of the yard below. The owner, Tom, did the cutting himself while his crew assisted. They were professional, courteous, and fast. The did a beautiful job cleaning up, cutting and stacking all the wood. Reasonable price for high quality work. We will be hiring them for all our future tree needs.
Samsara really went above and beyond to help us following the recent severe storm. Two large pines fell across our driveway entrance, completely blocking access and egress. This happened on a Saturday afternoon, and Samsara was out there beginning removal Saturday evening with floodlights. They brought back a large crew and heavy equipment Monday morning to complete cutting up, chipping and removing the large trunks and limbs, in the midst of really bad weather.We found them to be uniformly hard working, courteous and communicative - easy to deal with and generally good guys. We are having them come back to remove a very large cedar tree in the near future, and highly recommend them.
The walk through of our yard with Chad was so helpful. Learned a lot from him, and his recommendations were very thoughtful and fit our needs/context so well; he really listened and observed. The crew that did the pruning/limb removal on trees big and small was great. Excellent communication, careful, safely conscious, and extremely skilled. They had a good eye for aesthetics as well. We will absolutely use Honl again for our future tree needs.

I have been going to Dr. Mueller’s office for close to 15 years. I chose the office because it’s proximity to my work at the time, but even though I no longer work nearby I will always go to Dr. Mueller. He and his staff are amazing and I highly recommend this as your dentist office!

I recently found myself in a very difficult situation regarding my daughter. She had an oral appliance installed by another orthodontist about a year ago. It was VERY painful to install, and we were not looking forward to having it removed. After having taken my daughter to two orthodontists to have it removed without success, Dr. Speer was able to remove it. I thank you Dr. Speer for your extraordinary care and encouragement of my daughter and getting us through this difficult experience. You and your staff have been AMAZING. I would recommend Dr. Speer and his staff to anyone without reservation. Dr. Speer treated my daughter as though she was his own child. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my experience here was above and beyond. He and his staff truly care about people and it shows!
I’m in my 70’s so I’ve known many dentists. When my dentist retired I began looking and I was hearing great things about her from others. They were right, she’s a professional at the highest level. Shot didn’t hurt, crown fit perfectly. Everything she has done is A+. Her staff is great too!
Staff is friendly and welcoming, and they work with you to make sure that you are comfortable.
However, booking an apt can be difficult. Some bookings are months out. You can be put on a waiting list to get an earlier appointment, though.
I am lucky to have a flexible schduel where I can take off time during the middle of my day to snag an earlier appointment, but not everyone has that, unfortunately.
Overall, it is a good dentist office and would recommend it.
i've been a long time patient of Wagner dental care it whole family goes. They take great care of our entire family and never try and upsell us in anyway. It truly is a real family practice. Recently, I had a dental emergency. I was seen right away. Dr Wagner took such great care of me. Took x-rays evaluated the problem. I was treated like family. Could not recommend Wagner dental care enough.

Dentists make me nervous esp injections, I can’t handle that pain even when they topically numb you, I still feel that pinching pain. I had two cavities filled and I did not feel the injections at all! And I also had all 4 of my wisdom teeth here and it went smoothly, and both dentists were nice and explained everything thoroughly before the procedures. I brought both my toddlers in for their first visit and the staff were so nice; they explained everything and every tool to my kids and did not force anything and were very gentle with them and used play to explain what they were doing.

I look forward to days I come in for an appointment at Cedar Hills Dental Care because it’s my self-care day and I know I’m going to have a good time because the staff are friendly. I referred a family member and they also took care of them and they had a great experience as well!

I found Signature Health after I injured my back on the rower at the gym. It was one of those injuries that was instantly sharp and I had to get up and walk to my car like an old lady. Because of how much it hurt, I was scared my movement would be limited for a month or more. I'm writing this after 3 visits within 1.5 weeks and have returned to the gym and can move freely. I started feeling pretty close to 100% after the second visit. Everyone at the clinic is friendly and Dr. Tuttle took the time to answer all my questions, in addition to giving me adjustments that made me feel immediately better. Thank you Dr. Tuttle and staff!
I've been seeing Dr. Zachary Cullen for physical therapy treatment these past three months after being rearended in a car accident. It's been a difficult journey but I am seeing results and that's in large part due to Zachary's patience, his deep understanding of the human body, and his dedication to the people he treats. I'm lucky to have him on my recovery team.

We have recently moved away from the Portland area and one of the biggest losses for us was leaving Viking. Over the course of the decade we were with Viking, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Hendricks, and their teams saw all 4 of our fuzz butts, 2 of them through the end of their lives. We have never been more grateful than to have been directed there after several bad experiences elsewhere. The quality of care from start to finish for both us and our pets was top notch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. For the last 5 years we have primarily seen Dr. Hendricks. Her and her techs took the time to get to know our pets and their quirks, including working with our extremely anxious dog and over the course of that relationship earning her trust. They explained everything they were doing and why. And they always stayed within the budgets we had whether it was for routine care or the many old man dog issues. They have set the bar for any future vets we work with. And that's a high bar. We will be forever grateful to the whole Viking team for everything they've done for us. I'm not sure we have dealt with Dr Gilbert... We use Viking Veterinary and have seen several vets, but last year or so mostly just two of them.
But I guess maps offered to route me to a doctor instead of the whole practice so now (as usual) Google Maps keeps nagging me to do a review. It becomes easier to just do one to shut it up.
My entire family has been taking our animals to Dr. Holmgren for 30 years. He's just the best there is. Decades of experience, doesn't try to do unnecessary things, gentle and practical. He and his wife are wonderful people. He'll be retiring soon and we are so sad, but also very grateful for everything he's done for us over the years. We'll never find another vet like him. He and his wife just can't be replaced ❤️

I did sculpt and flow with Ellie, we either worked out arms and core at the same time or arms and legs and some core at the same time always working stabilizing muscles too all before cardio it was a fun full body strengthening and efficient workout! Five stars!

I love taking classes at Paxson Yoga Center. A friend told me about it years ago when it was Gudmestad Yoga, but it's taken me all this time to start taking classes here. I am on my second term and I know I'll continue for years here. All the teachers are terrific, and I am particularly taken with Hope Fyfield. Hope has a light, humorous and gentle approach, yet her yoga goes very deep. I have seen a lot of change in my practice since I've been taking her classes; she takes me right to the fundamentals and I have gained strength and understanding from her teaching.

I was in town visiting family and needed to get my yoga practice in. I searched on Google of local yoga studios and saw that Fuel Yoga Workouts was just around the corner from my hotel. I was able to take two classes during my stay. One was Fuel Flex and the other was Fuel Flow. I didn't read into the descriptions of the classes, but I assumed they were power yoga classes. The first class I took was Fuel Flex 2 with Alex on a Friday morning at 6am. I was expecting an asana practice, but this was far from it. I soon found out that it was more of a sculpt/HIIT class. The only yoga components were during the warmup and cool down. Not complaining though, because I had a blast and the workout kicked my ass. Alex was high energy, and she curated an amazing playlist much needed for the early morning. I appreciated her offerings to modify exercises. The room was heated, but I thought it was very manageable. I didn't feel like I was dying from the heat at all. The second class I took was Fuel Flow with Bri. Now this was more of my cup of tea and what I was looking for in my personal practice. The class was high energy as well and quite challenging, but we gradually worked up to the peak poses through the class. Bri led a very creative sequence, and I felt like she kept me on my toes the entire class.
This place is amazing. I’ve had classes with Jessica, Jai and Bhakti and they’re all great. So thankful to have this studio in St. Johns. <3

I've been to a few of their classes now with several diff instructors & every class has been great!! The teachers are all so warm & welcoming & they do a fantastic job at taking us through flows. I feel like there is a good range of intensities throughout the classes. This yoga studio feels so accessible & inviting. I see more diversity in the humans attending classes here which is something that is important to me. I also don't think they charge you a mat rental fee if you forget your mat which is awesome (but I could be wrong about that). Will def continue to come back!

Urban Pilates is amazing! I have been attending classes here for the past year and have enjoyed every moment of it. The teachers are phenomenal and the owner Kim is very dedicated to the studio and clients. I have chronic neck and back pain, and Pilates has helped my pain tremendously by strengthening my core and other muscles. I cannot recommend Urban Pilates enough.
I have seen Colleen for body work- visceral manipulation and nervous system work- for a handful of sessions. She is the best! Always professional, easy to work with, her space is very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend her- she has a great list of services and is highly skilled in her work.

He has deep knowledge of different massage modalities and custom fits treatments to specific needs. His studio in the center of Portland is professional and calm. You will not regret getting a massage here.

Very personable and easy to talk to! Addressed my needs properly and gave me lots of advice, both on racing and my other individual goals. Unless your bike fit is currently terrible, don’t expect a huge amount of adjustment. However, the adjustments he did definitely improved my posture and comfort. I absolutely recommend Jason!
I highly recommend Tigard Physical therapy and have been referring patients there. They are an exceptional group of professionals who love what they do! You feel the love and acceptance from the moment you walk into the office. They are attentive and do everything they can to make your visit very pleasant.
I received excellent care at Evolve Physical Therapy. I was experiencing knee and shoulder pain. The physical therapy exercises Laura instructed me to follow were very beneficial in resolving my pain and building strength. They make it possible to access the physical therapy exercises via the Internet which made them very simple to follow at home. Laura helped me find the best medical providers and demonstrated tenacity in finding just the right doctors and medical equipment. The support staff is top notch and easy to communicate with regarding appointments and insurance. I'm confident that your experience will be the same.
The staff at this office are extremely kind and willing to work with you patiently for anything. I really felt listened to and that all my concerns were addressed during the therapy sessions with Ethan. Each session was very informative and satisfied my daily goals. Excellent place to go if you need help.
Chad was great. Helped me get my foot working again so I could get back to an active lifestyle. He focuses on one patient at a time unlike some PT providers. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Shin and plan on going back for treatment. My pain level has reduced significantly after just one treatment after being in acute hip pain for almost three weeks post car accident. I was nervous about acupuncture as I’ve had experience in the past with Chinese acupuncture where the needles were too big and painful. Japanese acupuncture is much more subtle.
Cannot recommend Krishna enough. Have seen huge improvements since working with her.
I have been going to Inner Gate for years. It is the best relief for the nerve pain I occasionally experience and associated muscle tension. All the practitioners and staff are great. Thanks especially to Casey and Erik for their excellent care.

I had never tried acupuncture, but Liz was recommended to me through a friend who struggled with infertility and I’ve been seeing her since a few weeks before I had my first embryo transfer through IVF. My transfer was successful, and I’ve continued to see Liz weekly through the early stages of my pregnancy. It’s been such a breath of fresh air to have someone who is so knowledgeable about fertility and IVF, but also knows exactly what to recommend to help me relax. I strongly believe that her acupuncture treatment helped me prepare my body in the best way to have a successful embryo transfer, and I will continue seeing her through my pregnancy and beyond. I cannot recommend Liz enough!
Maya Martinez is a wonderful Accupuncturist. She is very professional and very welcoming when you enter her office. I was in a lot of pain when I went in to see Maya, but she made me feel very comfortable and knew how to treat the pain. I felt alot better after her first treatment and slept very well that night. Wonderful Acupuncture office! Erica takes a lot of time to really chat about your issues and find the best course of action to help. VINCE!!! We truly got our moneys worth with this one. Every drive day I’d be jumping up and down, ready to learn how to drive with Vince in the passenger seat. Please give him a papaya once your course is over, he loves those. I knew I would never crash with him as my instructor.
