Visiting SE PDX and found this gem. If you love Bikram / 26 + 2, this is the spot! I've been doing this practice for six years and received a valued correction that I've never received!!! Experienced teachers. Lovely, clean space. Body positive. Friendly staff. I'm so curious about their other amenities, wish I had more time. Will return. I'm hooked!
So much more than just a yoga studio! I mean, the yoga is AMAZING - really powerful and healing. And what is such a bonus, is that the people are equally as amazing. There’s a few unique class offerings and a Cryo machine. This studio really has everything you need- and maybe some things you didn’t even know you needed. Thank you Agni yoga! I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in PDX
This is a terrific yoga studio with something for everyone. Leah Shirley, in particular, is an outstanding teacher and movement coach. I did Bikram at this studio almost 20 years ago when it was under different ownership/management. I find the classes at Agni to be a healthier, safer, more physiologically sound version than I did back then. There is an hour-long modified Bikram class that adds movement that I really like. There is also the traditional 90-minute class. There is a fantastic Yin class that uses foam rollers and other props. There are classes that focus on breath work.
