Lovely, old-school, country-style vet care. No computers in the office, no five-week wait for an appointment. Dr. Holmgren is knowledgable and kind. He let me know what he was doing as he was doing it, and was careful and gentle with my sweet dog.

Fifth star restored! Dr. Holmgren went out of his way to put some insulin in the storage box outside the door this morning, and I was able to pick it up before heading in to work, and administer it to my little guy! The fact that Dr. Holmgren went in early to provide it, and allowed me to pay later, further shows that he is caring, professional and willing to go the extra mile for his patients!

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Holmgren since 1990 - he has taken excellent and very knowledgable care of all 6 in total. Any procedures from spaying to old age problems have been always left me feeling that he has had my dogs's best interest in mind and has explained the reasons for all he feels needs to be done. My dogs have been large breeds and the first three that he treated from puppies- all lived to 15 years of age staying healthy and happy. My 2 senior rescues, were very large breeds and adopted at 12 and 14 years of age. He took special care in the treating of these seniors and one lived to 15 and the other till 16.
