Beautiful location, good parking, wonderful staff. Clean and welcoming space, makes for getting a dental cleaning or dental work a calm experience. The team are kind and knowledgeable, really enjoy coming here!

I think everyone can agree that they don't love going to the dentist... But Portland Dental Works really goes out of the way to make you feel welcome, especially their receptionist and office admin!I went for a cleaning and a follow-up filling at the PDX location. The hygienists were kind and thorough when explaining and during both processes.For the filling, when I told them I didn't like needles, they were super understanding and Dr. Mazyar Afshar was able to complete the procedure without anesthesia quickly, professionally, and pain free!Thank you all!

I have a huge fear of Dentists and drilling, let me just put it out there. After one experience where a dentist could not get me numb, which resulted in several attempts to drill, screams, then another shot of Novocain - then same thing ax's 4, I'm literally petrified. Even teeth cleaning is painful for my super sensitive gums and teeth. Jennifer is the best dental hygienist and I will not see anyone else. Ever. She knows my sensitivity and fears and does everything to make the process pain And stress free. She puts a numbing paste around gums of sensitive spots, let's me wear the heavy leaded vest during my cleaning which acts like a weighted blanket to calm me. Genius!...read full review
