Fondren Orthopedic Group is top notch in every way! The medical/surgical care is exceptional! Even during my hospital stay I never felt like a patient, but as a guest in a 5 Star hotel! Great food (really!), 24 hour care by a very attentive staff who even arranged a comfortable set-up for my husband to stay with me overnight.
Interactions with the office staff and the Nurse Navigator are always pleasant. Everyone seems to go out above and beyond. The thoughtfully prepared and very detailed guidebooks are additional resources you can keep at your fingertips to refer to milestone goals throughout your recovery.
My experience is that Dr. Robin Goytia is an exceptional diagnostician. He took the time to sincerely listen to my complex issues and concerns. Dr Goytia thoroughly reviewed previous tests/scans etc, and ordered others when updated or more info was required.
He did NOT DICTATE a course of action but instead, presented the facts, and options available to me. Together we came up with a plan which included a surgery that he masterfully carried out.
In short, my pre-and post-op care, the surgery itself, and follow-up throughout my recovery, have been fantastic.
I highly recommend Dr Goytia and his team and am ever so grateful to be under their care.

I'd never gone to a dermatologist, nor had my wife. We both grew up in farm country in NE, she was born on the farm and I in a farm community. We both spent a lot of our lives working on a farm and being outdoors. In our advancing ages, we decided we should see a specialist. Dr. Downing had mostly excellent reviews on several of the "medical" websites we reviewed and we knew someone who had gone to him. We made appointments to see him and we were very very pleased with his staff's polite attention and consideration. Dr. Downing reviewed both of us that day and took samples. We both had simple low impact skin issues which we then made appointments to have removed. Dr. Downing's abilities and experience using the MOHS procedure is amazing, between the two of us, we had 5 facial procedures and post healing, you can not tell we had any surgery, no scars, and under close examination of the areas, it is difficult to see where the procedures were. Very very pleased and we highly recommend him.

Being new to the greater Houston area, I’m happy to have found a nice salon. Coming from Alaska, we definitely didn’t have many great salon options and definitely a huge difference but very reasonable price for the services provided. My stylist and front desk receptionist were so nice, even carried my baby when she whined a bit. I plan on returning here with my teenager as well.

I was FaceTimed about pending items on my Honey-Do list immediately after and my fiancé was a fan. I highly recommend the gentleman's package. The steam was a dream (y'all should put that on a shirt) and I haven't felt that relaxed in a long time. Looking forward to coming back.

Miguel is great, his cuts are always on point. His website is easy to use to set up appointments and his prices are good for the quality of the cit you get. His shop is great. For me it always feels like therapy as im getting a cut. Miguel does a great job and he’s a master at his craft.

I used to visit a few Dominican Puerto Rican Barbershops. Every time I would get a cut my barber would be on the phone speaking to someone or distracted cutting my hair. Once I went to the Made Men Barber Shop and Jefferson introduced me to Victor Angeles I had an entirely different experience. Victor takes his time and always listens to make sure he understands how I want my cut and beard. He is very professional and always makes sure he gives you his 100% attention.He is a perfectionist and since I have been going to him to cut my hair and beard I have received the most compliments. Love them! I usually will tan myself with foam and a mitt but now that I'm pregnant - self tanning is just out of the question.. So I'm used to fake tan but this is the first time getting sprays done at a store and the girls are so professional and really great at what they do! They coat you with a powder after so you don't leave sticky.. The location is super convenient too with not having to go deep INTO Houston. They usually ask what your plans are that week/weekend so that they know how to tan you. Highly recommend!
So happy I came here!! I was recommended to try out Sugared + Bronzed from a friend. I tried another waxing place in Houston, but didn’t like the location/studio. Deanna was kind, welcoming, and professional. She was quick and gentle compared to my prior experience at a different waxing place. The studio is nice and clean. This location is further from me, but the montrose location will open soon and memberships can be used across different locations.

I can not speak highly enough about the tan that I received from Bronzed by Jess. The process was easy and smooth, very professional. I'm so impressed that i'm joining their monthly membership. I would definitely recommend this for anybody who wants a tan without worrying about being turned orange. I've gotten sprayed in the past from another place, and I was so orange that I looked like an oompa loompa.

From the day I started 5 months ago it's been a great experience! The staff here do care about cleanliness and service. They are busy but always have a smile. They give great pointers and tips on Tanning and try hard to accommodate the clientele. It is a busy place but they always are quick to turnaround the beds and rooms.

The business is small but they get the work done! I had just got off my flight and needed an immediate service for my nails. I was able to get an immediate response and upon arrival I was told to check in on the tablet first; okay! I had my pedi with Harry and he did a good job: Tee was kind and thorough on my acrylic/mani which turned out great. They do offer beverages, the place is clean and opening. Unfortunately, when I got back to my Airbnb my basic French polish on my toes seemed to have not dried thoroughly because when I took my shoes off some polish was missing, no biggie. The service was great, will definitely stop by whenever I come back to Houston!

I had T today for my full set and I am beyond happy. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and T was able to copy it exactly how I wanted! She was gentle, patient and perfect! They were super busy today and I think the salon handled it very well! They were very kind and apologetic to me when it wasn't necessary at all! This is the best set I've ever gotten. My new go to place now! I got a full set of acrylic nails with tips since my own nails are short, ombre with a design. Plus a removal of old nails. I paid $60 and I am happy with them! They offered me drinks multiple times and gave me a warm towel that smelled AMAZING for my hands. Later T got ahold of me to apologize again for how busy it was and that if I had any nail issues to contact them and I can get right in, and that to me Is BEYOND amazing service. The place was beautiful. Two tvs, fountains, cute decorations and SOO many nail colors to choose from. I'm taking hundreds and all displayed in books for each choosing. I will be back!

I found Splend looking for a nail salon that doesn't use jetted tubs. I had a bad run in and I have been nervous about it since. The experience was awesome.
Everything was super clean (the tools all came out of sterilizer bags), and it doesn't smell like chemicals in there so you can actually relax. They were super gentle shaping my nails and didn't cut or hurt me at all.
Also, if you are a guy you are 100% welcome here. They even have a menu of options geared towards men. I brought my husband and he said it was very relaxing.

First time at Hope lash and I will be back! I have really bad anxiety when getting my lashes done in the lash tech was so patient with me and understanding. I got my lashes done last Thursday and little to no lashes have been lost.

My dad is hairstylist used to take care my hair but i moved far from him so i tried another place people introduced. Last November I decided to stop cutting my hair, just cut the bangs only, every time i get the bangs cut i like to make it really short so i don’t have to comeback every month, it look stupid at frist but i love it, still cute . Great place! I was really anxious but when I walked into the entrance, I was greeted kindly by the people at the front. Zania noticed my anxiety and helped me calm down. She was kind enough to bring me water from the vitamin shoppe. I already started loving that place since the people in it are so kind and compassionate. When my 2:15pm appointment started, DeNae let me vent without any judgment while waxing my eyebrows and it wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be; I came out with free samples given to me, looking nice and feeling more relaxed than when I came in. The place is clean, well stocked, and the employees are professional! DeNae knows what she’s doing! 10/10 would go again to get my arms or legs waxed.
I always have the best experience at Radiant Wax RO, Taylor is my go-to waxer. Taylor is super cool which makes the experience much more tolerable. I really like that Radiant Wax uses the best quality wax and the music playing is always a vibe.

This was my very first time getting a Brazilian wax, I was nervous as heck but Kayla was AMAZING!!! Her suite is sooo cute and it smelled so good, when I walked in I really felt at ease! She talked me through the whole thing and she’s hilarious as hell. We were laughing and talking the whole time! When I tell you I was smooth…I was smooth I felt like a new woman! The pain wasn’t that bad honestly. Yes it did hurt but I would give it a 4.5 out of 10. As a black woman, it is super important that we feel inclusive environments. We often have to read the room to see if this is a place who are open to us. I can tell you I felt like a distant family member here. After my services were over I was served tea and the woman that was there (maybe the manager or owner) came out and talked to me and explained their Moroccan culture, allowed me to try some snacks, and just really catered and asked if there was anything else I needed.

TL;DR - I was having terrible hip pain and Lizbethe cured me when nothing else was working! --------------- I have been going to Panacea for massages for about two years now. I like them because they are close to my home, and have great scheduling options. The massage therapists are fantastic and always kind. I went yesterday due to a bad hip strain and back pain to try to get some relief. I saw Lizbethe and told her about my sore hip. I gave no specifics to the injury or what happened, just that I was hurting. I had tried everything - ice, ibuprofen, the doctor, rolling, stretching, you name it. I was getting no relief. Lizbethe is a miracle worker. She spent a ton of time on my low back and hips, finding all the problem areas and incorporating different varieties of pressure and techniques to help release. I feel AMAZING. I can sit without pain, slept great last night, can move freely since a back surgery I had a year ago, and am so so grateful to her. She's an amazing massage therapist. Go see her if you need some work done!

I found MaidLuxe by searching for services near the woodland heights area. I needed a move out clean and unfortunately I'm awaiting hip replacement surgery so I couldn't help in anyway. April set me up with two excellent young women who were incredibly hard working, polite and kind. They made the fans, baseboards, door frames, refrigerator and freezer spotless. They even unloaded my pantry and threw everything away for me. That's not something they were supposed to do. They did that out the kindness of their heart and it means a lot. The service was lackluster to say the least, and I was left feeling disappointed. Have known Nick for years and I will tell you that we’ve done remodels for many years and have used many other contractors, from most professional to handyman. Nick‘s work is among the most top notch. We recently hired Nick to replace our front door and let me tell you I couldn’t be happier. We replaced a wood door with a beautiful iron and glass door. The iron door was much heavier, requiring 3 men to lift it, and the project required trim, stucco and paint work. Nick’s team completed the work within my timeline and we couldn’t be happier with the way the new door looks. The door looks like it’s always been there. Very pleased!!

It has been a 1 1/2 years since the installation and the recommendation below. There has been no issues and I remain very satisfied with my choice to work with Floor Inspirations.
February 2023
Floor Inspirations is a quality flooring company with higher end brand products and installers. They employe their own installers and do not use contractors. Before arriving at Floor Inspirations, I received 3 bids from others stores on different brand products. These previous stores all used contract installers and did not sell the Proximity Mills brand; which after extensive research and consultations, I decided was the highest rated stone composite tongue and groove plank floor for my particular needs. Floor Inspirations did sell this brand and that is what initially brought me to them. Xaquira had extensive knowledge and was very helpful with getting answers for all my product questions and was a true pleasure to work with. Doug is the owner and does the bids as well. He has extensive knowledge and integrity from every perspective. Pablo is their installer for this style floor and if I had a flooring company I would want to hire him without question. The install can require floor leveling with special concrete and this is where you need a real pro and Pablo is that for sure. My floor required extensive leveling due to the old house having multiple add on sections that were not initially leveled properly. I give Floor Inspirations a A+ from all aspects.
Amazing job! Abraham and his team were great! Professional, on-time, clean.. we had our floors refinished and added new wood floors to our office. I can’t say enough good things about them (would give them 6 stars if I could). So easy to work with. Having your floors refinished is never fun but they really minimized the mess and worked within our timelines. What I also liked was the fact that they used water based stains so no toxic fumes for the family!
This is our third time using Buffaloe floors in our personal homes. I have been referring them for well over 10 years. Ronnie is a great flooring resource and the team always does a great job with our floors, keeping things clean and orderly, and closing out the project.

I had several Foundation Repair Companies assess my home for an estimate. Houston Foundation Repair was by far the cheapest. We had a very large wrap around patio and Kool Covers did an amazing job. The cover is insulated and makes a big difference compared to other builder and in this Texas heat it's a must. My great appreciation to the two guys that installed the cover. They worked in the heat and were very meticulous, never left discared materials on the patio and swep everyday. Garret, Michael, Luis, and his crew are all awesome! They have exceeded my expectations without knowing what to expect. They’re reliable, fast without sacrificing quality, knowledgeable, and hard-working people.
First, let me preface the situation. We wanted to renovate everything inside our house except the bathtubs in our master and guest bathrooms. Update our cabinets, vanity bathrooms, new flooring, paint the entire inside house, repair windowsills, and a few other things. We also wanted to take down a wall section between our kitchen and living room to get a clear line of sight then change our hall closet into a pantry. Those were our major structural changes when looking into general contractors.
Going into this world of renovation business, I didn’t know what to expect or how it was supposed to play out. I’ve watched a lot of home remodeling to build up some expectations, I know TV shows do much more than in reality so I kept my expectations in check somewhat. I got my first quote from another contractor to establish a baseline. Then I saw Your Dream Remodeling on Google Maps and gave them a try. They came, listened, measured, gave us a price quote, answered questions or concerns, and more.
Between those 2 contractors were night and day in terms of their approach. Here’s where Dream Remodeling separated itself from other contractors. Their quote is detailed in nearly everything. Leaving nothing out so you know what to expect going in. Another contractor I’ve encountered left out a lot of details and was pretty vague on what to expect. So of course, I chose Dream Remodeling for that specific reason.
With that said, I work from home and my family stayed home throughout the entire construction. They first worked in the kitchen and living room, worked their way to bathrooms then our bedrooms last. It was fascinating to watch and see how things progressed over time. Be warned, it was dusty, noisy, and crowded. But we managed and got through the hurdles. We were told it would take about 4 to 6 weeks, but they completed everything a little under 4 weeks which was fantastic and exciting to see it come to fruition.
Things to note when going through renovation. If it’s not on the list of agreements, then it won't happen. If you want something changed or additions, it’s a change order. In my case, I wasn’t sure if they would replace the vent cover, outlet, and light switch/plug plates. Anything they took down or uninstalled is when I bought newer items to have them replaced without any additional charge. Furniture, appliances, and decorations are on your own. Although, I’m sure they’re more than capable of doing it for you if you want it included.
Once we went through the final walkthrough, we gave them additional items that we noticed and they came back and fixed them. Again, I'm tremendously happy with how it turned out and highly recommend them for any of your projects inside or outside the house.

UPDATE #3 July 17, 2024 Jason has been here a few times and is knowledgeable and very friendly with my dog. He did an excellent job but wasn’t able to finish treating the outside because it started raining. He returned yesterday to finish. The mosquitoes are at an all time high since Hurricane Beryl hit last week. They were literally swarming at both my front and back doors. I couldn’t open either door without them getting inside. I called the office and asked for the fogging treatment. Jason did an amazing job fogging and spraying at both doors and he told me through the door not to come out until the solution had dried. It didn’t take very long and the swarms were completely gone! I was very pleased that the mosquito treatment was discounted because he performed it the same day as my quarterly treatment. Well worth the extra money! I won’t hesitate to get the treatment again if it is needed.

We hired Juan and his team to help address our backyard, and how terrible it looked after we had our pool installed. There was a lot of loose dirt from the excavator that turned into mud and was getting all over the house when the dogs walked in. Juan designed an amazing looking pathway around our pool, with a couple of flower beds in the back of the yard. My wife worked with him to do the design and he even went with us to the nursery to look for the best trees possible. He explained what each plant/tree would cost, and how hard each one was to maintain so we didn't waste money on a bunch of plants that would die in the winter.The sides of our backyard hard a big slope, one side of the yard is 8 feet higher than the other side, and drainage was a big issue. Juan and his team fixed the slope and drainage so we didn't have a backyard full of mud. They just finished yesterday and it poured today for hours, so we got to test out the drainage quickly. The tree removal was done very well. The job was completed and cleaned up in a reasonable time frame. The removal was done in a restricted working area with care taken as not to damage walk and block wall.

We've been utilizing Houston Tree Surgeons' services for the last 6 years for tree trimmings and removals. Unfortunately, after the last storm, we decided to go ahead and remove all of our 8 mature pines (75'-100' tall each) and a fallen one. Not only were they reasonably priced compared to the other quotes we received, they were fast, efficient and extremely responsive. We did had a minor mishap, but they completely took care of what was needed and we're truly thankful for their services. We now have peace of mind when we sleep at night knowing we don't have massive trees directly looming over our property anymore. When/if we ever move, we know who to call if we need reliable arborists.

Hurricane Beryl had knocked out the power of our regular dentist, who we'd had much needed appointments with, and we were leaving the country for 3 months within days. Our dentist connected us with Dr. Nail who promptly accommodated our needs and even stayed late to make it all happen. My daughter was in pain and not only did he do the work he could, but he got us into a specialist because she needed some more intense work. We are so so appreciative of him and his staff that they made it all happen, I don't even know what we would have done otherwise.

I went to see him about getting porcelain veneers, and while I was excited, I was also apprehensive.Dr. Konig and his staff were kind, informative, and made it clear from the first consultation that I had to be 100% satisfied before they would be finished with the job. His staff made me feel like I was at a spa--in a very good way--instead of at the dentist. No phony faux-services, just great people doing a job that they obviously love doing. Everyone in the office played a positive role in my experience.I did end up getting the veneers, but they discussed all of my other options thoroughly. The results are amazing. I had no idea that my teeth and smile could look so good. On August 08, 2024, I had an appointment with Trinity Dental on Lyons to pickup my Night Guard apparel. It arrived a week earlier than I was told it would be ready. The Guard was test fitted and it was a perfect fit. In addition, Tanya the office manager was able to schedule me for a cleaning that was due, a future convenient for me not having to call in to schedule! Trinity has proven to me how valuable they are in servicing the community's dental needs, unlike another dental office I visited on Lyons and Shotwell that left me stress-out with their non-professional practice. I am a patient here and I can confirm that after several sessions of adjustments, my Neurolens value (what is used to measure my eye alignment) dramatically improved.
My optometrist claimed he had never seen anything like it before, and had never seen anyone's vision alignment "improve" before, and so fast too. My eye alignment prescription improved from a 1.00 deviation to about 0.31 in roughly two weeks, which is how long I was going to ENNIS Chiro.
I highly recommend this chiropractic clinic. I have never had such incredible success before with a chiro.
This is my 3rd ailment that Dr Matt Arnold and Airrosti clinic has helped improved. I went from having a decrease range of motion and pain to being pain free with a huge decrease in symptoms. I will always resort to Airrosti and Dr Arnold first before visiting a surgeon, just to rule out surgery!

I felt severe pain on my ribs and back area after coughing for about a month. My primary doctor ordered x-rays to check my ribs and lung,. My long was clear and my rib had no fracture. But my pain got even worse, I could not even move my right arm for anything for it would cause sharp pain. Then I tried to find help in acupuncture specialist. I found Dr. Yang via Google search and decided to try it. My first visit was two days ago. After understood my problem Dr. Yen did acupuncture and cupping treatment for me. Right after the treatment I felt the pain was somewhat released. I went home and felt the pain gradually released the more. At home, I also followed her advice to sometime have a hot patch on the pain area. My situation improved continuously, today, before my second treatment, my degree of pain was done to 2 from 8 compare to two days ago. I’m very satisfied with Dr. Yang’s treatment, therefore I’d like to give this review. I expect that after my second visit my pain will totally go away.

I'd never gone to a dermatologist, nor had my wife. We both grew up in farm country in NE, she was born on the farm and I in a farm community. We both spent a lot of our lives working on a farm and being outdoors. In our advancing ages, we decided we should see a specialist. Dr. Downing had mostly excellent reviews on several of the "medical" websites we reviewed and we knew someone who had gone to him. We made appointments to see him and we were very very pleased with his staff's polite attention and consideration. Dr. Downing reviewed both of us that day and took samples. We both had simple low impact skin issues which we then made appointments to have removed. Dr. Downing's abilities and experience using the MOHS procedure is amazing, between the two of us, we had 5 facial procedures and post healing, you can not tell we had any surgery, no scars, and under close examination of the areas, it is difficult to see where the procedures were. Very very pleased and we highly recommend him.

They no longer accept my insurance and that's literally the only reason I can't go here anymore since I can't afford self pay. I don't even live in Houston and I found them better than psychiatrists there - they're quick to be supportive, schedule regular check ins for med changes. If your typical provider isn't available, no worries there's plenty to choose from to make sure you're being seen. The minute I get an insurance they take I'm coming back.
Got a new puppy and scheduled a mobile visit for him and another dog. Not dealing with driving plus multiple waiting rooms is so convenient, plus the dogs loved it. I particularly like how the pricing/service is very transparent. I knew everything before they showed up.

To have a place like this to get care for your pet is EVERYTHING. Dr Hardegree was very informative and caring when diagnosing my cat. Then Dr Weathersby went above and beyond helping me today. I would recommend anyone looking for a vet to come here for your pet's healthcare.

My cat got very very sick and it happened so suddenly. I took her straight in as soon as I could. Most people are struggling pretty badly and I am one of them. I couldn't afford to do all the recommendations right away. We had to come up with the best plan to find out what was wrong. I approved x-rays and an IV. She needed a little more as she was still on the decline, so the next day we got her going with injections and an appetite stimulate. I couldn't afford the blood test. She started doing better and eating a little bit. Then the results for the x-rays came back - she had 2 small blockages in her intestines. I asked if we could get her some laxatives to help move it along. She is doing much better now and I am happy as she would have needed a small non-invasive surgery otherwise. A big shout out to Dr. Hassan, Hailey, and Elisa! I am a little set back but they are very reasonable. I don't know what I would do without my cat. ❤️

Juan did an excellent job on my senior pup’s first grooming with Kontota. As he’s aged, he’s become extremely anxious and not fond of his face and paws being touched. This requires me to have him on anxiety meds for grooming appointments.Juan was understanding of these needs and strategized the grooming to address areas first where anxiety would be difficult if the meds wore off. The updates throughout the grooming ease my own concerns.Highly recommend!

We were over the moon with our experience with grooming at Jackson's Place! Paige took excellent care of our good girl and made the time to consult with us about our specific preferences prior to grooming. The results were outstanding: a clean, shiny coat, impeccably trimmed/cleaned feet, ears, etc. and most importantly - a calm dog. She even smelled so delicious that she served as a roving air freshener in our home for a few days. We also really loved that the booking and appointment process was seamless. Shayna did such an amazing job! Got a cut with a bath for my dog and she came out so cute and smelled so good! My dog usually bites strangers, but when it was time for pick up, she was cuddling up to Shayna. We were treated well being here for the first time. My dog usually gets nervous, but she seemed to love this place.
I always have trouble finding someone who can groom my doberman since hes big and hates getting nail trims, but here they have no issues. My dog always comes home smelling so good and super happy.

* Instructors are friendly, attentive, offer assistance and each have their own unique teaching style. They do not judge and have amazing attention to detail. I also love that they emphasize breathing. You will connect with them instantly.
*You will achieve your fitness goals. I know I've lost inches in just one month. I feel leaner. I eat better. I sleep better. 'Nuff said.
* They offer a variety of classes so whether you need a soft, gentle stretch on a lazy Sunday morning or a strength work out on a Wednesday -- they have it all. I especially love restorative yoga.
* The communication is great - they will know your name, offer you support and if you need to cancel, you do get both an e-mail and text confirmation (if its 2 hours or more prior, you will be reassured that you are not going to be charged).
*They treat everyone with the same respect and care. This is huge. I have been to maaaany studios since....2012/2013-ish and I noticed instructors offering support and attention to certain people. I assure you, this does not happen at The Atrium.
Some instructors that really stood out to me (although they are all amazing) were Jennifer, Austin, Gabby and Mathew. I have been told Madonna is super awesome, however I have not had the opportunity to try her classes yet.....that is on the list though!

I went to a Restore class and it was a workout. I had no idea it was going to be such active stretching but it was amazing. I was pretty sore after the stretching but also relaxed if that makes sense. A well designed and executed class by Toanne and she even does adjustment but first asking if anyone is opposed to them. Those adjustments helped me get the full breadth of the class.
What's not to love? I've been attending random drop ins at Big alongside my fiancé for the last three or so years and I have to say that this is one beautiful community of yogis. Occasionally the classes are blessed with live musical accompaniment. Occasionally half of the class is Ashtanga-esque, and there's always a challenge/program to participate in. With each and every class you're sure to experience a different flow (in the best way), an unparalleled engaging instructor, words of empowerment, and lavender towels (a welcome addition to shavasana.) Offering classes at most times of the day, I find this a fantastic post work wind down! Just be mindful that parking can be tricky for popular classes and times, and so can finding space on the floor. Bring water, a towel, and your mat, and arrive early :). Oh...and do not expect mirrors!
I can feel my body maybe more than I've ever felt it before after just a single level 3 class. I'm both ded and the most alive I've ever been. I'm terrified to return, but also intrigued at the possibilities for better body maintenance. Can't recommend it enough!

This has been everything I look for in a yoga studio, and then some. The classes are restorative yet strengthening, active yet peaceful. I always leave class feeling fulfilled, and am always encouraging others to attend. The studio is clean, and the owner / instructor is invested in her students. I highly recommend this studio.

I had an amazing experience with Pauline! I did the yoga during my pregnancy starting at 19 weeks. I really enjoyed the classes and even with my belly growing daily, in the end of 39 weeks my flexibility was much better. Was very helpful for the pains that appear during pregnancy. I had a beautiful labor and I am sure the yoga was essential to achieve that. Pauline made me feel comfortable and safe during this period. I highly recommend it!!!
Awesome Bikram studio. I’ve taken a few hundred classes here and there is always great energy in the room. The instructors are all gifted and it’s likely you will pick up “a little something” from each class.
I’ve been practicing yoga for more than a decade now, and the most important thing for me is to find an instructor that is passionate about guiding people to become their better selves through intricate body movements. When yoga is taught correctly— with passion, heart, compassion, deep understanding of the body — yoga then becomes medicine for the body, mind, and soul. Like I mentioned above, it’s hard to find an instructor with said qualities. The GOOD NEWS is you don’t need to look further. If you’re in your healing era, and are looking to be challenged you have to take Ms. Natasha’s class. You will not be disappointed! ! ! She’s stellar, down to earth, funny, and will make you sweat like you haven’t before.
I started practicing at Aerial Yoga Houston in 2021, after suffering from chronic back pain for 15 years. After once a weekly classes (for a month) my back pain was gone, and I haven't had pain since! Aerial Yoga Houston has great instructors, the owner, Nicole is fantastic! It's also great for strength, core, and flexibility (I am 45 years-old, six feet tall, and can touch the floor with my palms)! I should mention that Aerial Yoga is a lot of fun and great for the mood!
Took my first class here tonight, 7:30 flow with Amy. She was great. Best yoga class I’ve taken in a while and I’ve been going to black swan for years. Her sequence and timing were perfect. I felt so good and realigned after class. Amy was very encouraging and warm, and she was pretty funny too, which made class a little more enjoyable. The studio space and lobby area were nice and spacious; I didn’t feel claustrophobic here like how it can feel at other yoga studios.
I've been going here a year and love it! It's challenging yet non judgmental and anyone of any age is welcome. I love the coaches too! You won't regret coming here!
Loved loved loved this Pilate class. Emily was super nice and welcoming for my first class. She came up to me and helped out when she noticed I was struggling. Pilates is definitely harder than I thought and I've been working out at the gym for 3 years and lift pretty heavy. It is a couple dollars more expensive than other places I've tried but the vibe and environment is super welcoming. I'm definitely coming back ! I also really like how their Pilates classes are full body workout + core, you definitely get your moneys worth.
I attended a class at Citizen Pilates with Jaymie, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, Jaymie was incredibly inviting and kind. She took her time with everyone and made sure not to rush through the movements. As a beginner, I found her demonstrations extremely helpful. Jaymie's guidance made the class enjoyable and accessible. I loved her class and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!
If I lived in Houston, 713 Pilates would be the Pilates place I'd go! I'd started with a local studio (MVMT), and learned about many of the Pilates moves, and loved it so much, that I didn't want to give up a whole week of Pilates when driving the GKids into town for their HMNS camps. Wow. 713 Pilates was a fabulous find! Small studio (yay!) with Pilates certified instructors. Lauren was my instructor for the 3 classes I attended that week, and no class routine was the same. Lauren continuously checked on each of us for correct form during the class. Her teaching experience and Pilates training were highly evident in each visit. 713 Pilates was welcoming, both by the instructors and by the other clients. The studio also has a private room for individual instruction. The next time I'm in town for a few days, I'll be booking classes at 713 Pilates.
Went to a beginner's aerial silk drop in class through class pass. Sarah, the instructor, was awesome and kept class chill, informative, safe, and fun! This was the least pretentious or cliquey class I've been to through class pass. Only 6 participants all willing to help each other. We got to do some fun skills and it was a full hour including a warm up. Plenty of parking though not necessarily right out front. Give it a try!
Started pilates last year, been to a few diff studios and this place is by far most challenging. But in a way that you want to keep coming despite the painful parking.Parking is very limited, they need a private lot or somethimg bc waiting for other people to back out and trying to snag a spot is not fun. And street parking is not an option bc it's full too.I like the simple studio with no extra things. It holds about 10 people i think which is nice. I hate when there are so many people squeezed in a small space.The instructors are nice. Their classes are all challenging in different ways. It's not as diverse but honestly i dont care as long as people are friendly.I think the 4 classes intro classes for a discount make a great way to pull in new clients. And their membership works for all locations so that's what's up.Overall i recommend boost pilates. I'm hopeful on getting strong arms and toned body down the road!
As a first time Pilates goer, HardCore fitness was great! I had the instructor Kelly for an evening class and it was AWESOME! The community there was so supportive and I had a great time. Of course Pilates is not an easy workout but Kelly helped me to feel confident in the movements and I look forward to coming back.
The Good Space Pilates studio is a welcoming place for all skill levels. I took my first Pilates class as part of a package special. The Pilates Instructor was very knowledgeable, patient, and taught me all the basics. I've consistently been coming to the studio for the past year and it has been a fantastic experience. The Instructors are very well trained, and committed to providing the best participant experience. They pay attention to every students' skill level and no one ever feels left out or under-challenged. The studio is the perfect size so you get one-on-one instruction and never feel lost in class - plus, classes offer variety so you are never bored. It's truly a 5-star experience.
This studio is absolutely stunning inside! It’s definitely a gem in Houston with its own gated parking! Each of the teachers take their craft very seriously and provide very detailed instructions/ help with posing! This is a high quality, independent studio run by an exceptional teacher, Dominic. I taught Yoga for over 20 years and have a little insight into what it takes to be an excellent teacher. He knows most students by their first names and makes individual adjustments on the fly according to their abilities and interests. Students are very loyal and they make new students feel welcome. Lots of comradeship at the studio. He also supports the larger community via an active Toys for Tots program and related efforts.
Best way to spend just under an hour working out while hitting abs, legs, arms, and glutes. I appreciate how the instructors help me improve my form as well. I look forward to booking my classes every week!
Let's just start by saying Pilates is not for the weak!!! I heard how good it was for the core and toning so I signed up for a complimentary session. On the day of my class, I showed up 10 minutes early, got checked in and purchased Pilates grip socks ($19). This session was led by a knowledgeable instructor and was only 30 minutes for me and one other person. Those 30 minutes felt like an hour because I was so sweaty and tired when we concluded. However, I didn't feel lost because the instructor was helpful and corrected any mistakes I made. After the class, the manager chatted with us about our experience and I decided to sign up for a full one hour session. That class was a bit difficult but nothing I couldn't handle. I also enjoyed the instructor. She knew how to balance newbies with semi seasoned OG's. I would love to continue at Club Pilates because this studio has such a welcoming atmosphere and the instructors are great but I pay for one too many fitness courses as is.
Instructors are very kind, professional and helpful. Amazing workout especially for people with knee and joint issues. Clean studio where reformers are wiped down after each use.
Very nice staff. Instructors are super helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of accommodations for injury and over all a great, calming, clean environment. Classes do fill up quickly so I would recommend booking out as far as possible so your place in class is secured. Parking in the garage is plentiful. Lots of construction around the area though so expect some pains getting to and leaving class, while they work on that!
Best massage I’ve ever had, fabulous staff very friendly and accommodating.
My husband and I came here for a couples massage, we felt rejuvenated at the end. Nina and Maya were very sweet and did a great job and you get some tea and chocolate at the end. Highly recommend them and will be coming back soon!
I really enjoy getting professional, stretching/reflexology after my workouts. All of their technicians are great and Guillermo has done an exceptionally great job in giving me what I need with great stretches! The place has excellent customer service and a fully functional app as well. Sherry at the front desk is super friendly and is incredibly helpful via text with reschedules and sharing last minute availabilities. Really love the Heights team.

I saw the high google rating and was intrigued. I walked in pretty skeptical but the massage was excellent. Kylie was great, I paid for deep tissue and definitely got it. Its not often where I have to tell the masseuse to ease up, its usually a problem with not enough strength but not with her. You can tell she takes pride in her work and it just makes it that much more better. No awkward tipping demands but I always tip well.
I been here 2 times, had the greatest outcome, the pain was less, by one week after ward, you can clearly tell is not like before. The more times you massage the more your body is relaxed, feel great. I was having shoulder neck pain. When I am relaxed, especially when driving, the neck feels so tired and sore. Being in the serving industry and handling heaving plates, it really affects my shoulder. I am so glad my friend recommended this place because other acupuncture didn’t work for me.
I've been a client at Physical Touch Massage for over 4 months now and the experience has been amazing. I was diagnosed with Cervical Radiculopathy along with Fibromyalgia and this journey has been very painful. The techniques and patience Jason uses along with skilled level massage has decreased my pain levels. My physician has also seen my progression. I'm not 100% better but a working progress and on the way to getting well working with Jason!!!! I was fortunate enough to attend three separate women’s retreats and experienced the massage services from Session Bodyworks. The weekend was a time for relaxation and the massages that were performed definitely helped meet those intentions. Walter takes the time to listen to you verbally as well as listen to your body as he goes through his massage techniques. This last session, I found myself actually fall asleep in total relaxation. I would definitely recommend getting massages from Session Bodyworks. You will not regret it!

One of the best massage places in town! Tomica gave me a 60 minute fusion massage and she was amazing. She was very attentive to which areas needed more work, and gentle otherwise. The front desk staff is very nice and accommodating. It was a great experience overall.

I had De Rest on Tik Tok and baaabbeeee I wasn’t disappointed. The masseuse who massaged my stress away as Mimi. I was very tense in my shoulders and she didn’t stop until all of the tension was gone. When I walked in I was greeted promptly and friendly by the young lady in the front. One of my favorite moments was when MiMi wiped me down with the heated towel she did so while still massaging me. I did the combination massage for 90mins and will definitely return soon for another. If you’re wondering should you try, please do I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Bowman PT is a class act. The entire staff was so professional, kind and really cares about your overall recovery and comfort. There are so many PT options available out there nowadays. But if you want the best, look no further. Highly recommend!!!
Melissa has absolutely done a wonderful job teaching my son and family about pelvic floor therapy. We had trouble getting to poop on the potty for years and had been to every gastro and doctor possible to try to help him. All the googling of how to potty trained and nothing stuck. Within a month of going to Melissa my son was pooping on the potty and getting so much stronger in his pelvic floor helping him to push. It’s amazing. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing help with toileting and pelvic floor therapy. She has been absolutely amazing and we love her! My son asks all the time when we can see Melissa again. I can’t thank her enough for helping our family.
This place exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff and good evaluation/physical examination. The therapy focuses on recovery and prevention of new lesions unlike others that only treat pain.

I suffer from episodes of vertigo usually BPPV, and the subsequent balance issues. Dr. Sierra Jackson is a Vestibular Specialist at The Dizzy Spot at Bercutt Physical Therapy. She has treated me for several years, starting from when she worked at another PT clinic that closed suddenly in 2023.Sierra is a fantastic physical therapist, an experienced professional, and a lovely woman who cares about her patients. She has also treated me for other medical issues requiring traditional physical therapy. The office staff are also nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Bercutt PT.
Miss G is excellent in taking care of you in office matters. Dr. Brittani Auzenne is an excellent physical therapist and really know how to treat any part that needs therapy. I completely shattered my ankle and I am walking without any aid in six months. Highly recommend!
My son attended last year twice a week until insurance decided he did not need to continue therapy based on his reevaluation scores... I’ll be honest at first I couldn’t really tell if a difference was being made and I know therapy takes a while to see the difference but the therapists and office staff were always very kind, professional and most of all patient. This year I see how much occupational therapy really helped my child. He is able to control his body during the long school hours and it’s such a joy to see for myself and hear teachers say how wonderful he is during class. Thank you all for helping my sweet boy!!

Get ready for a life changing experience and actual healing! I was looking for herbalist who does acupuncture in the Heights. I stumbled across this place via Google, looked at the site, called and made an appointment. I felt I should go here and took a chance. My goal was to find someone who can help me shrink my fibroids, I got that and more.
I've been going for a month the time of this review. With working with Dr. Gong my bloated stomach is slow shrinking because my digestive tract is healing. My monthly menstruation drama is slowing, had a normal flow, cramps minimal. The biggest surprise of all, that was a byproduct was my anxiety and depression is decreaing to almost none. With the healing work she is doing with my kidneys, it has allowed my emotions to flow out. I have higher clarity of thought. I have higher energy and feel like the inner me has grown higher and wider. My body and mind is steadily healing and balancing.
Now, I follow her instructions for habit changes and mindset changes. I drink the herbal teas and take the herbs as she prescribes. I'm also open and share what's going on so she can help. Dr. Gong and staff are very kind, knowledgeable, compassionate people. They truly want you to be healed. I will update my review to share my progress in the coming months.
I have been going to see Dr.Panel since May 2024 with intestinal issues, and she has helped tremendously. Wiith her knowledge, understanding my issues, she explains everything so I comprehend the process. I have followed your guidance and my issues are subsiding. She is not pushy, does not demand the frequency for appointments, only recommends the treatments that her patients are comfortable with. Right now I only need to see her about 1 to 1/2 months for maintenance and my own wellbeing. I would recommend Dr. Sonal Panel, very highly, scale rating 5, if there was an option for a 10 rating or higher I would rate that.

I have been a patient at EHA since 2019 when I began my IVF treatment. I'd struggled with infertility for 3 years at that point, and was having a lot of trouble with hormonal imbalance and anxiety. Dr. Singh has been an actual angel in my life. Her treatment style is very thoughtful and personalized. She listens to all of your symptoms and customizes your care accordingly, week to week. She helped me manage the hormonal roller coaster that comes from IVF treatment, as well as recovering and getting my body back to normal once they were finished. On top of that, she's incredibly kind, patient, and caring, something that is so valued especially when dealing with the array of hardships and emotions that accompany infertility. On the occasions that Dr. Singh isn't available, I've had equally wonderful experiences with the other acupuncturists in the practice. I'm happy to say 5 years later, I have 2 babies and continue to visit the clinic to help me manage anything from anxiety, to heart palpitations, to insomnia. If I could give 10 stars I would!
Dr. Wendy Zhang provides great care and has helped relieve much chronic pain through acupressure and acupuncture (including electrical stimulation). She is friendly, responsive by phone for scheduling, and professional. I always leave feeling better than I arrived and have recommended to friends!

I had serious pain in shoulder from falling on it. Was concerned that I would be limited with a lot of activities coming up. She explained thoroughly what was going on in the shoulder then completed a treatment that was so perfect to relieve the pain and increase the mobility. Feeling so much better and more importantly have a plan going forward to keep it healing right. So thankful as we are going on family vacation and wanted to be ready to lift a 1 year old. Great group and will always use them.

I’ve been to green reflexology quite a few times and I am always very satisfied with the service. However, this time there was a really bad smell throughout the building and it took away from the experience. The massage was great but the bad smell was distracting.
My husband and I just left this place and we must say....this was a GREAT visit! First Time customer and we will be back!! The Deep Tissue massage gave me life and my husband's foot reflexology he came with foot pain and could hardly walk..now the pain is gone and can walk.
So, I went this past weekend and told the dude at the front desk that my feet, lower back and shoulders hurt like hell. He showed me a menu of services, and I just responded to him "You pick. My feet, lower back and shoulders need some serious work." This guy was good. Of course, he did a heck of a job on my feet, but he also knew what he was doing with the shoulders and back. -- And I wasn't charged an arm and a leg, though I pretty much gave him carte blanche. I'll be back again soon.

Ace is the best school in Houston if it is not the best in the states. They distilled down the training systematically and all the instructors are patient and professional. I passed the CDL test the first time and the whole process took me 4 weeks including the written CLP. I highly recommend Ace Trucking if anyone is serious about learning the skill and pass the test in commercial trucking.

Thanks so much to both coaches Josh and Paul, who were more than happy to answer any questions I had and (I cannot stress this enough) extremely, extremely patient with me until it all finally clicked and was able to pass my Basic Rider Course! The course goes over all of the fundamentals you'll need to get into riding. The class structure is great too and it felt like everybody was really rooting for and helping each other out as we went through. For anyone interested in learning to ride, definitely come and take the BRC (EP1) course with Awesome Riding, I had 0 experience beforehand and had probably the most trouble out of the rest of my class initially, and now I feel like I can confidently start riding - absolutely the best value for money I've ever spent!
Note - When they say to bring snacks and hydration with you, they really mean it! Learning to ride for ~7 hours a day if you haven't ever ridden on a motorcycle before will absolutely knock the wind out of you, especially in the Houston heat (I took the course during the summer). I wasn't prepared my first go around and ended up having to retake the class because I was so worn out and sore after the first day that I wasn't able to come in for the second day of the course.
I took a drivers test here to get a drivers license for transportation to college, because of the time crunch I felt really nervous but the lady comforted me well. She had excellent criticism, her advice was very detailed. If you want to take classes I greatly suggest this place because they are very skilled on keeping you drive safely and correctly. They are very kind and understanding people I had a great experience.
