I’m a very hands on person and often my gel chips after a week but when I started getting my nails done here, my nails have no chipped even once! I’m amazed and grateful that I can have nice nails along with the not worrying even when I wash my dishes. I also have A LOT of cuticles that grow like wolverine claws and they’re too patient to remove them and most places never have patience for me like that. Great place, clean, and sweet people. Amazing experience! I went to several salons in Williamsburg today hoping for a walk-in appointment for partial blonde highlights and Oro was the only salon that could take me on such late notice. I was very happy with the service, pricing & end result! Finding a new stylist in nyc is very overwhelming & stressful, and I've had many negative experiences with blonde highlights in the past, but Yuya was awesome and did exactly what I asked for. Finding a good hairstylist has always been really difficult for me because I've never been satisfied with the end results of all my previous ones. I was looking to get long layers, curtain bangs, and a blowout (which sounds pretty simple but you wouldn't believe the number of hairstylists who don't know how to properly cut layers). So ultimately I decided to just bite the bullet and make an appointment here based on all the reviews and I'm so glad I did! I booked with LuAnn and she fully understood what I wanted. She's an amazing stylist and a true master of her craft in addition to being super sweet and accommodating. It was truly the first haircut in my life that I was actually happy with. Went to get a haircut with Frankie, who was amazing and really nails the casual, breezy, lived-in look that I was looking for. She was super communicative and took the time to explain everything and carefully go through everything we discussed; but once she started she was FAST! I was in and out in 50 minutes while never feeling rushed, and she made sure to stop at key points to make sure I was ok with the length and approach. One of the best hair experiences I've ever had.
I came in for my first appointment today and it won’t be my last. Mayumi is incredibly kind, skilled, efficient, and communicative. The entire time she was touching my hair she made sure we were on the same page. I loved the way she cut and styled my hair, making sure everything was perfect, my hair was styled how i preferred, and got me out of the chair in time for my next meeting. Ive been to Bri at Little Lion a couple times now and I will go nowhere else ? She has such a nuanced eye for color and totally sorted out the mess I came in with. She gave me the perfect strawberry honey color for summer and also gave me a treatment which has helped strengthen my hair a ton. Had the best experience! Went in for a full head of highlights with a head of dark brown hair that hadn’t had highlights in 6-8 months and came out with a beautiful bright blonde balayage that felt healthy! 20/10 would recommend. Natalie did a wonderful job and she was so knowledgeable about hair and the blonde process. Haven’t been to a new hairstylist since my teenage years and was feeling nervous to try a new place after my former stylist took a leave of absence — but Natalie delivered wonderful results and I couldn’t be happier. She absolutely has a new return client out of me!

I pretty much never have to wait, they listen carefully to what I want, make suggestions if I ask for them, and then get to work delivering a great haircut, every time. All of the barbers are consistent and talented, and they have very low employee turnover. They don't quiz me about how my day is going or where I'm from or what I do, which I really appreciate. That's not to say they're unfriendly - I genuinely feel like a welcome and valued customer every time - it's just that they're focused on doing the work well and making sure everybody walks out satisfied. I recommend them to all my friends without reservation.

Love this place for a regular and gel mani pedis. They are very clean and the staff is super nice. I wouldn't recommend getting gel x or acrylic extensions here. My nails beds always end up dented, and the extensions never last past the week. They are great with shapes and cleaning up cuticles. The extension undersides often end up chunky, though. I think in a couple of years, I would go back to try extensions again once the staff gains more experience, but for now, I will stick to my regular ol' mani padis.

Definitely go to this salon!! I went on Thursday to get a haircut. I naturally have curly/wavy hair which is also frizzy. I’ve always have had issues with finding a hairdresser that can cut my type of hair. So obviously I was nervous to get another haircuts and be disappointed. But that didn’t happen. The minute I walked in I was offered an espresso or cappuccino, the owner introduced me to my hairdresser IRMA and then I went over to get my hair shampooed. Can I just say Irma was amazing, I asked for long layers, a face frame, curtain bangs, and lots of movement, and she did not disappoint. She listened to all my needs and took her time styling my hair. I walked out loving my hair and my stylist. This is definitely going to be my go to salon from now on. Plus the staff is super friendly, and they accommodate all your needs.

I had my hair done for the first time ever at Lima hair salon and I was so happy with the results. Honestly, I say she saved my life. After a bad haircut and damaged hair I had to find a place that could fix my problem. Lima was so attentive and answered all my questions over the phone and luckily I was able to come in the same day to get extensions done. Someone there said they call her the magician! And I agree she made magic happen! I went from looking like a little boy to looking like a woman again when she did her magic and added beautiful extensions to my hair. I am so grateful for Lima’s service and her staff were also very courteous. I will be back soon! Thank you for making me beautiful again!
I got the plump lash lift about two and a half weeks ago and I'm mostly satisfied. I mainly got it so that I could forgo mascara during a 2 week vacation while still looking relatively awake and fresh faced. I have very straight Asian lashes that kinda grow downward, so curled lashes definitely make a difference on my face. That goal was achieved. The process was relaxing, Yuri was so sweet, and my lashes came out perfectly curled and not overprocessed. Now 2.5 weeks later my outer lashes are starting to straighten. The middle lashes are still nicely curled but it's slightly disappointing to shell out $$ for the treatment only to see it start to lose effectiveness so soon. Maybe my outer lashes just grow super fast, I dunno. At any rate, if I were to get another lash lift, I'd do it here. Other lash salons may offer the same, but Masterpiece really listens to your needs and they won't fry your lashes.

So happy with my experience. The aerolase facial is giving glass skin after one session. Granted I started with pretty good skin, but the after is good. The laser is sensational but not painful like old lasers used to be. Most importantly it feels safe for my darker skin tone. I purchased a 3 pack service so I will be back. I booked my appointment with Carrie herself, but have heard from others that all the staff are equally as excellent. The facial went way beyond the usual cleaning and "masks'. From extractions to massage to LED light and cold stone rub, my face went through it all. And if that wasn't heaven, Carrie massaged my neck and shoulders - which really needed it!
Carrie doesn't "push products" even when I asked what I should use. Instead she gave me a couple samples to try. She is lovely and she has developed a great team. Definitely will be back.

Where do I start? For starters, Kathy is SUCH A SWEETHEART. She is so positive, warm, and a pleasure to work with. Second, her studio is beautiful!! For something as unpleasant as a wax, her environment makes you feel comfortable immediately, a true reflection of who she is. Finally, this wax experience has been the most pleasant one ever. The wax she uses does not pull on the skin so while there is mild discomfort, its nothing like what I've felt with soft wax or other mediums. I had minimal swelling and no irritation.
Bottom line: Kathy is a true gem of an esthetician and I look forward to seeing her again. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, rather I am needing to contain myself to succinctly express all the positives there is to say!

I've been here twice now, the studio is located in beautiful building, the service both times were quick and quality, I love my results each time. I don't see any reason to look for another wax specialist. Her license is up on the wall which is comforting and she has snacks and refreshments for you She's also really close to where I am located so it's convenient to be able to book and get there so fast. I would give five stars but management is not the best so I took off one. I have been a patron at this location since it opened two years ago (literally visited the weekend it opened). Prior to this location, I was a customer at the location near Union Square for about 4 years but thankfully, the Williamsburg location is closer to my home so I switched. I started out going to Shivani who went out on maternity leave and recommended Emely so I have been going to her for over a year now. Emely is amazing! She's very good at her job but she's also friendly and attentive. I have made it clear that the products aren't the best for my skin so I only buy the body butter. As a result, she does not push me to purchase products which can be frustrating to constantly have products pushed on you. If Emely leaves, I'm going wherever she goes!

Ive been going to Uni K for ten years and won’t go anywhere else. I’ve been to several different ones and they are always hygienic, organized, kind and efficient. Rinisha was my favorite waxer for 8/10 of those years but she moved away, so I changed locations and have been provided my services at random. Yesterday I went in for my monthly Brazilian and finally found someone worthy of replacing my old favorite. Her name is Gina! She was quick but gentle and very attentive. Extra points for checking on me but not talking too much as I always have my headphones on?. Check her out!

Emilia the owner is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST ESTHETICIAN I have ever come across whom I have personally gotten to know over the long years of my continuing there and she is also a wonderful kind person. By learning this about her I saw that she cares about her clients. She really does. You leave her spa feeling beautiful outside & inside with her positive energy. I wish every spa was like this and I wish other estheticians allowed you to feel the way she does. She also cares deeply about her business & her brand. She wants it to work. She won’t give you a product that isn’t for you. Also - FYI I’m terrible at cleansing (don’t yell at me em! lol) but now I’m on a regimen that’s simple and has 2 steps for right now until I’m consistent enough and then Emilia will give me a third product. She doesn’t just throw products at you to spend money. She genuinely cares about your skin!! Bottom line - BEST SPA. BEST ESTHETICIAN. BEST PRODUCTS. The only con I have is that she doesn’t have more locations like all of these large spas that forget how to truly help their clients which is something Emilia in 7 years still has not done.

Tatiana saved my eyelashes! I had gotten my lashes done elsewhere and felt like something was wrong so i got them removed with her. She was so attentive and gentle and informative. The appointment that was supposed to be 30 minutes went on for an hour because of how awful my lashes were, but she made sure I was comfortable and that she removed everything. She told me they used wig glue and put it directly onto my eyelid and thats why it was taking so long to remove and why I was experiencing irritation. In the end, she was able to save my natural lashes. I am so grateful for her hard work and dedication!!

I had actually put a deposit down with another company and found willowhouse later, and ended up going with them instead. It was the best decision ever! Michelle did the perfect natural glam that really felt like I stayed true to myself and Holly made my hair absolutely flawless. I have thin hair and I wanted to have a natural loose blowout, it looked thick and natural with the extensions. People still tell me how great my hair looked! Forever grateful for this team and making me and my bridal party feel our best.
Pre-Dame was the best for my wedding hair and makeup! My whole experience was incredible. Stefanie connected me with the perfect team, Sandy and Ava. My hair and makeup looked perfect throughout the night. Sandy and Ava were also so lovely to hang out with all day when getting ready. They are both so kind and funny. absolutely amazing experience. went twice for a matching nostril piercing, and then for a vertical labret. the time both Vicki and Taylor took to measure before piercing me meant allot as I've been previously pierced at other studios that didn't take the same steps and left me with crooked piercings. Both explained what they were doing throughout the process very thoroughly and left me with no uncertainty/confusion. I will definitely be returning.

I called Mike when my heating system stopped working at the start of this winter. I left a voicemail and he called me back quickly. He came to inspect my system and said he could fix it, but ultimately needed to be replaced because of how old it was and the poor work the previous company had done. He clearly explained in detail what was wrong with it, and that even if repaired there were still some concerns about performance and safety. We ultimately had Mike replace our system and he finished the job in one week without any problems. Most importantly he was on time every single day and worked full days to ensure completion. He explained every step along the way and made sure to always clean up and respect our home. He's easy to talk to, trustworthy, and simply works as if he's working in his own home. It was a relief to find someone as skilled as him and someone I could rely on to get the job done. Our new system is incredibly efficient and works great. He even helped troubleshoot a radiator that hasn't worked in years and now it works fine. I recommend Mike without hesitation.

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Amazing service! We needed a Sunday night emergency call. Someone came out within 2 hrs and found/fixed the problem. Answered all of my questions and clearly explained everything he was doing as he was working on finding the issue. The person who answered the call and sent the electrician was also very polite and professional.

I called Slava from AllSafe Appliance to fix my refrigerator. He was able to schedule an appointment on Sunday morning, arrived on time and was able to diagnose and the issue very quickly. He had the spare part that needed replacements in his van and he wasted no time in making a replacement. The refrigerator is now as good as new! After he finished with this job, I asked him to take a look at my dryer as it started to make some strange noises. He quickly told me what the issue is likely to be and after he troubleshot it some more he was able to confirm it. Latter on we agreed that he will order the spare part required. Once he got the part we scheduled an appointment, and once again he was on time, was very professional, and fixed the issue quickly and effectively. This is a great small business. We used them 3 times over the course of the last month for post-construction cleaning. The first time Leonard and his crew were able to make a truly terrifyingly dusty studio apartment sparkling in just a few hours. Truly every surface was covered in an inch of post-construction dust, and there was furniture to wipe down, a bathroom and kitchenette. I'm not sure why the reviews are bad, I have used this place twice for 2 different apartments. Owner went above and beyond to source a 2 inch hexagon tile I wanted that no one else seemed to have (including Nemo Tile). Price was about the same as Nemo, HD and Lowes, and I liked being able to see the glass mosaics in person for a shower niche I wanted to create. Would definitely go here again, great service.
I only shopped for flooring here but didn't go through with placing an order, so I can only comment on my experience in stores and nothing else. I really wish I remembered the name of the worker who helped me but he was a tall, dark, 40ish year old man if that narrows it down. He was so knowledgeable about the different types of wood flooring and was so eager to help. He probably spent about an hour with us. I really wanted to place an order because of him but the smart thing for me to do was to keep shopping around before going all in. I was able to find even lighter wood flooring at the shop next door, so I ended up going with them instead.

A to Z did our entire kitchen after a kitchen leak from our upstairs neighbors. The project lasted from June -it's very final details completing November ( the bulk of the project was completed in early September). There were a few design mistakes, in some instances felt like a lack of oversight and the normal delays in getting the materials delivered. In the middle of the kitchen project we decided to have them do an update on our bathroom - vanity, mirror, countertop. There were set backs, but these guys were honest about it along the entire process and fixed whatever mistakes ( that are inevitable in construction) when I brought it up to them. We are beyond happy with the outcome and would hire them again without hesitation.

Threw out the 25 years of living in Franklin Sq I have used Joey and his crew from Pinnacle for all my concrete needs. My drive way still looks brand new 20 years later after parking all my works trucks on it. My brick pavers still look good after 10 years. Fast forward I bought a new house needed some work. Joey came over the next day wrote up an estimate 3 weeks later I have a brand new stoop with custom marble my wife is happy and that's all that matters. Better yet, Tommy and his colleague Meriam are just good people and they WANT to help. For what it's worth, it sorta pains me to write this, because it means admitting that we've had a few of those unwanted houseguests. But with Tommy's help, our pantry's looking fairly pristine now. We have used Central Pest Control for regular pest control maintenance. We no longer worry about unwanted visitors. They are always professional, and especially mindful of the fact that we have little ones as well. When it comes to pests like mice and ants the best defense is a good offense.
Luis, Liz & Danny couldn’t have gone Above & Beyond more than they have for me. Everything started with my sharing of pictures of suspected bed bug bites, which they promptly responded to. Within hours they sent Danny to perform a physical inspection of my apartment and, at my request, had a 3rd party dog sniffing company come to perform a deeper inspection by end of day.
The dog did detect something so I reached back out to Above & Beyond the following day. They helped me to navigate the conversation of cost with my landlord and Luis did everything he could to try and offset some of the fees I would need to incur by going with their form of treatment over a chemical treatment process that my landlord wanted to use.
They returned that very day to perform the treatment and it was way less painful an exercise than I experienced 15 years ago

Coming across as a total gentleman with impeccable listening skills, I did not even notice when roles reversed as he began asking me questions. I never felt judged or concerned he would dismiss any novice attempts to resolve an unprecedented situation. By the end of the delightfully useful exchange of ideas, he recommended a gem of a person who did not let Donnie down. However, Don asked me to "please" call him back if the geographically closer recommendation did not respond in the expected timeframe. Good people associate with good people so that was not the case for the record. Dr. Tepfer was fantastic!! I needed a root canal done and it was practically painless. He spent time making sure the infection was cleaned out and took X-rays afterwards to verify. First I have to say the front desk receptionist are fantastic! They made me feel so welcomed for my first visit, I got there early and they took me regardless! The office is extremely clean and beautiful! The bathroom is immaculate SO CLEAN and smelled great, they even had a schedule of when the restroom was last cleaned! That blew my mind! The tech that took my X-rays was so gentle and kind! My dentist was very thorough and did a great examination and cleaning job! I love that this office is close to home! I will continue to come here! I was 100% satisfied with the service and I highly recommend this office!! Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and at home.

After struggling with chronic pain for 12 years, I finally found relief thanks to Juan at North Williamsburg Chiropractic! Despite trying numerous physical therapies (7!), I was prescribed
antidepressants (because the pain was so bad I couldn't sleep, ended up with depression), injections, MRIs, x-rays, and multiple orthopedic surgeon appointments, I went to abroad, and much much more, nothing worked. Gentle, but precise, Dr. Auerbach knew exactly what to do and how much pressure to apply or not. I couldn't believe the amount of mobility I instantly regained that tears were rolling down my face. Self care is so very important and Dr. Auerbach should be your first stop on that journey.
Dr. Ferrieri is great, knows what he's doing, doesn't over prescribe visits, very personable and professional. I've had hip and back problems throughout my life and have been to Chiropractors all over the country, I've been to bad Chiros and great ones...Dr. Ferrieri is definitely a great one. He helped get my back straightened out when I strained it.
Would recommend him without hesitation. Love the fact that he answers the phone when you call, so many places now are so impersonal with online booking and not answering the phone and sending text messages instead of calling you back.

I was completely blown away by not only Dr.Mike’s professional and expert knowledge in the chiropractic field by also his caring and warm demeanor. My 15 year son and I were visiting NYC from Austin, TX and my son was experiencing shooting pain in his spine and neck, so bad that he was having a hard time walking or turning his neck. On a Saturday at 4:55p (5 mins before the office closes, without an appointment and after a long day of work) Dr.Mike was gracious enough to see us and help with immediate pain relief. He asked very thoughtful questions and explained the treatment he was performing, and also helped us better understand the cause of the pain. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a doctor. So very thankful!!! ??❤️

I can’t rave enough about the quality of care my dog received the team Opal and The Vet Set. My dog had teeth removed and they were so attentive in his care, did a wonderful job explaining his situation and recovery with me, and worked around our needs. Dr Truitt, goddess bless, did a great job with my Xavi and reassured me through the process from begging to end, as did Amanda who nurse him tilI got there, he loves her.I work with animals so I know this job isn’t always easy, but we do for our fur babies what they do for us. The team here gave us 100 the best care possible and I’m so happy I chose them to take care of my dog. What more can you ask for?
I am extremely grateful that I found Northside veterinary clinic online. I wish I knew of them three years ago. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Stacey Leiman For the care she has given my little Luna. Plus, Dr. Lehman taught me a lot and that first 10 minutes of our visit then I had with any other vet that I have taken Luna to in the past. We will not be going anywhere else from now on. Kings bay veterinarian is the place to take your pet. I have a black lab , that has a lot of issues ,since she was a puppy . I went to a few veterinarians in Brooklyn, and I didn’t feel comfortable with them at all.
I’ve been going to kings bay veterinary , since my dog was a few years old. she will be 11 years old in November. Dr max lotovsky is a fantastics doctor, he has a lot of compassion and understands animal's.
Dr max helped my dog so much, I always felt very comfortable with him and his staff.

I love Park Slope Vet Center. They have cared for a few of my cats over the years. They are compassionate and supportive. Always giving good advice without judgement or trying to sell you services. When our last cat was at the end of her life they helped us understand our options and gave our sweet girl a peaceful end to her suffering when it was time. I’d recommend this vet to anyone. They also work with many TNR groups which is so needed in NYC.
I feel very lucky to have found this clinic shortly after relocating to Brooklyn. Dr. Stronger and the rest of the staff her obviously care a lot about the work they do. They are clear and thorough in how they help you understand what’s going on with your pet and provide a range of options to accommodate your (financial) situation. I have never once felt like they are trying to rinse me and their practice feels extremely considerate, ethical, and honest—— a must for a veterinary practice but sadly can’t be expected of all of them. I feel really confident in the care they’re providing for my cat and genuinely trust them and their insight. I also think their office fee is fair compared to what’s common across NYC; with many practices charging over 100$ for an office fee. They also found time for me to get my cat in on an emergency visit when we had some sort of scary stuff happening. The only thing I will say in agreement with some other reviews is that there *is* one front desk person who is really unfriendly and always seems to be out to lunch. I’m not sure if she doesn’t like the job or if she’s just busy and overwhelmed, but her bedside manner could definitely use some work. All the other front desk people are super nice tho! Overall defffffinitely recommend this clinic. Its hard to find a good vet but you will be in good hands here.
Dr. D, as I call her, took care of my Sharpei, MizzyFoo from 6wks until the end, 14yrs0ld… She made sure that Mizzy received quality care with professionalism, kindness & love… I am so grateful that she was our vet & friend for so long & would Highly recommend her & her staff…
Great care and wonderful staff! My dog is almost 7 y/o and has only been treated at BHVH since he was a puppy. BHVH has taken care of my dog’s common and not so common issues. My dog once swallowed a tennis ball whole. He also recently broke his toe. No matter the medical adventure with our dog, BHVH always provides fantastic costumer service and thorough medical care. They patiently explain procedures and medication. They also provide helpful recommendations re care. We moved neighborhoods and continue to choose a 40 minute Uber (each way), over bringing our dog to a different vet.
Took my Australian shepherd here and they did a great job!The groomers were both incredibly nice and walked me through what they had done when I came to pick him up. It’s a quality service from top tier people. Foster has never looked so good and he loves his new bandana they gave him!Thank you!

I have been using Shiny Paws for over a year and they are the best. They do an amazing job with my dog every time. Plus they generally care about your fur baby. When my dog had a horrible allergic reaction I didn't know what do so I just called because I needed some help and although my dog didn't have an appointment the owner was able to give me advice on what to do and it worked. They treat your dogs like their own. My dog gets so excited when we arrives at the groomer. You guys are wonderful and please keep up the great service.
Mia and Benji love going to Digs! My schedule is a little chaotic and I often call them with last minute requests to watch the dogs, and they always deliver. The dogs come back tired after a day at Digs! They look like they have so much fun while they are there, the webcams are great!
I searched around trying to find a good grooming for my Yorkshire terrier and everyone kept cutting her to look like a boy but I took her to Genny and she was amazing I love the vibe in the shop it just feels so welcoming and you can tell the dogs are loved there.Can’t wait to bring her back

The Furnace is a hidden gem in Bay Ridge! I started taking classes about a month ago after my friend decided to bring me as a guest and ever since then I’ve been hooked! I LOVE the studio! The staff is phenomenal, with highly trained instructors who lead classes with expertise and passion making you always feel welcomed! There are classes seven days a week, with classes as early as 7 AM, and as late as 8 PM, so there’s always some thing for you! At first I was a little nervous, as I’ve never taken a hot Pilates/yoga class, but I am very happy that I pushed myself to try something new and I can’t wait to see the results!
This is by far the best yoga studio in nyc. I've lived here for over 10 years and One Yoga House provides an incredible experience every time. I've been going to this studio for a few years now and the instructors are all amazing and so knowledgable. The studio is beautiful w/ great ambiance. I have tried other yoga classes, but none could compare to the way she thoroughly explains each pose. I see all the students at Brighton Yoga studio have been there for years and enthusiastically keep coming back! I feel so good after taking even a few of Elena’s yoga classes, I wish I could take yoga with Elena every day!
So glad I found this gem of a yoga studio. The ambiance is warm, low key and gives that small business vibe which I prefer in gyms and fitness studios. I've attended classes by several instructors but I especially love Tashya's approach and demeanor. I just wish she taught more classes here! Five stars all around.
A beautiful space for community and movement. Prenatal and postnatal class with Martine has been a life saver and wonderful form of connection with other new parents. She’s so intentional about curating class and a space where all feel welcome and seen. I recommend to anyone, but especially those who are pregnant or have given birth.
Really nice facility in BedStuy. Did the first timer trial, and I went 5 times. I kinda wish I did 7 days in a row. Very nice teachers for the flow classes that I took. Can't say enough about how well kept it is. As someone who doesn't do yoga very often, I felt good about being there. If I had it in my budget, I would keep going.
With in minutes of the first class of Yoga For Strong Bones, Jennifer showed me how to sit comfortably crosslegged with multiple props. I told her that I felt my investment was worth it with just that. She made me more aware of holding tension and releasing tension and breathing more effectively. She led us through 12 poses that are alleged, according to the NY Times, to prevent and even reverse osteoporosis. Jennifer brings her own special sauce by reading from a book of Rupi Kaur poems and creating a peaceful space that is calming to the nervous system.I am so appreciative for this amazing group of women that I share this experience with each week!
I love everything Club Pilates has to offer! The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and always helpful. The instructors are incredible at what they do and really personalize your experience. Everyone who I’ve taken repeat classes with knows me by name and I’m always excited to go to class! When I had to freeze my membership for a few months due to a hectic schedule, I missed Club Pilates Sheepshead Bay every single day—I’m so excited to be back! My favorite instructors are Katherine, Vicky & Tanya but you cannot go wrong no matter which class you take. It’s always going to be a great experience! Even after a year and change I’m still learning new things. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Before I met Jamie and tried her class at The Floor, I was scared to do Pilates in NYC because the studios I walked past usually seemed competitive, intense, and well... cliquey (basically exactly like the SNL skit).
The Floor is the THE EXACT OPPOSITE of that—Jamie's classes are incredibly welcoming, grounded, fun, and HARD.
Jamie pays incredible attention to each person's needs and body, no matter what their experience or ability. She cues things in a way that means I have FINALLY found my butt after years of confusion, and somehow manages to be serious/light/exacting/forgiving all at the same time.
I walk out of every class feeling so much more capable in my body and in my life. It's like medicine or witchcraft or something. Try it!
I’m almost reluctant to leave a review because I don’t want the classes to fill up, but I have only positive things to say about Lula Body, and especially the instructor Diana. I have been going every weekend the last few months and feel stronger. I’d also like to go during the week. (To the owners, please start offering 7pm classes!! ?)But literally after two classes, Diana knew my name, is encouraging and thoughtful, and switches up the exercises so it’s always a bit different.If you’re looking for a neighborhood Pilates spot- this is it.
The instructors at this location are knowledgeable and excellent. Each one has a unique approach which is great because classes will be somewhat unpredictable and never boring. I suggest trying different instructors and finding what works best for you at each stage of your Pilates journey. Some classes are more intense than others. If you apply yourself and are consistent and committed, you will achieve transformative results. A special shout-out to Tetiana! It was her intro class that sealed my decision in joining and I have loved every class since. Thank you to everyone at this club.

Honestly the best Pilates studio I’ve been to in more than 20 years of attending classes on and off. So many Pilates classes I’ve attended over the years have felt like light exercise at best, but The Fit In’s are a serious workout that leave your muscles feeling it afterwards (and have even left me sweating one or twice).
Incredibly supportive staff, all bodies welcome, great workout! My only suggestion would be to offer an unlimited classes membership, in order to encourage fitness and health and attendance at more classes! Prices are steep! Also at some point offer lockers, showers, or toiletries to refresh after a workout!
Love Jen and her awesome studio - go to Pilates 1 to 2 times a week.Jen teaches so you are getting the best of the best! She has so many different classes, tower, mat pilates, and reformer. She does small group classes and also private. She is so fun and funny and really good at teaching Pilates. Love Red Hook Pilates!
Mandi is an incredibly caring, intuitive and experienced pilates instructor AND so much more. Mandi combines her knowledge of the body with other healing modalities of Reiki and Sound Healing in order to address the physical and spiritual, which are so intertwined. She is one-of-a-kind, caring, intuitive, wise and committed and I can't recommend her highly enough.

I've taken over 30 classes at this studio and 100 altogether. I love this studio! Lex is the best. Definitely take her class if you can There are 19 machines, 2 bathrooms and 1 change my room. Lockers, water fountain but no showers. No sweat towels. And be sure you know the door code to get in! Sometimes this studio is a little cold in the winter because one wall is all windows, so I'll bring a long sleeve or a sweatshirt with me. If you've never done this class before, it's hard but it's good! One of the best core workouts I've found and I've tried tons & tons of workout studios. Good for core and lower body. Not great for cardio, arms

Focused, attentive and fun is what this Lumen offers.In addition to group classes, they also offer a mix of privates and semi-private classes.If you are newer to Pilates, a few privates is a great way to get a better feel for the practice (and equipment).You’ll also find that while many might consider it a great core builder for women - it’s a great workout for men as well.
Have been coming here since I got cleared after my ACL surgery last year (doing PT as well). All instructors have been lovely and really helped me get my knee back to normal! Love this studio ?

Wow. Amazing customer service and clean space. Michael is super friendly! I did a walk-in 60min full body massage and it was lovely. Masseuse did just enough pressure and was sweet. I will totally be going back. The hour went by so fast. Love they used the warm rocks. And they have water and snacks on hand. Highly recommend this place.

My first massage with DUMBO Wellness and I’m very impressed. Casandra is very sweet and was able to focus in on my trouble areas so well. I appreciate the type of massage where portions of the focus were on pressure points and alignment. The atmosphere was calming and I felt very comfortable throughout. My neck, shoulders, back, and feet are feeling incredible and I’m looking forward to another session in the near future :)
The only con (and really it wasn’t even a true con) I would note is phone communication with the office. I wanted to be able to call and speak with the office via phone regarding little things such as how to use giftcards or letting the team know my ETA, but honestly they are quick to return calls or respond to texts so it really didn’t bother me much. Just something to note.
My overworked body (avid skier, and sits at a desk for work), needs a deep massage. The masseuse can work out my tight back and any knots, definitely not one of those annoying light Swedish massages. Patricia is very attentive and skillful at CranioSacral Therapy. I used to be a practitioner so I know that I’m picky and have high expectations. She totally meets and exceeds my standards and has such a big heart for healing the mind and body together. After my fall, I knew to reach out to her for concussion symptoms and her patience and expert skills were so welcomed. I am healing and I know I will return to her to support me in this process. Trauma is something that has to be held and the intelligence of the body knows what to do, but the therapist has to have the right touch to allow it to happen. Highly recommend her and Haven.

Super impressed with my massage from Ariel last week! I carry a lot of tension in my right hip and shoulder and Ariel spent a bulk of my 90 minutes working out those areas with an expert level of care and focus. I’m not a fan of massages but this one was a massage to remember. A massage you will get like no other I instantly felt relief the moment she started . She took her time and addressed every area with tension very reassuring made everything super comfortable for me and even educated me on things I didn’t know about pertaining to the muscles I enjoyed my session and will return this was definitely a 10/10 experience I’m telling you book her you will not be disappointed.

This place was great! Dr. Suresh Kotte was supportive, knowledgeable and helpful. I came in with shoulder tendinitis and feel healed after 6 weeks.
I started to really notice my shoulder pain as my daughter got older. It was becoming difficult to pick her up out of her crib and out of the car. I sought help and found Downtown Physicians. Initially I was diagnosed by Christian. He took one look at my posture and my profession (working at a computer all day) and diagnosed me. I received a trigger point injection which provided immediate relief. However, I wanted more. My fitness goal is to be able to pick up my daughter so I began physical therapy with Abby and her team. It was difficult to begin with but I persisted. I got stronger and more flexible after 8 weeks. I’m happy to say I have a much greater range of motion and I feel much stronger after doing PT with Abby at Downtown Physicians. I would recommend their services to anyone in pain.

I have tendinitis in my left foot. Dr. Wing did some ultrasound and manipulation and gave me take-home exercises to do. After even just one visit my foot is feeling much better. Can’t recommend this office enough.

Very happy with this facility. For the past four months I’ve been getting acupuncture and massages and the treatments have relieved a lot of my issues. I went twice a week and being consistent with treatments helped relieve the pain. It was my first time ever getting acupuncture and the therapist was kind, professional & listened to my needs. The massages were amazing too. This place was recommended to me and I have recommended several friends to come as well. Thank you to all the staff!
Dr Lola Omishore has treated me with PT for several months, largely for symptoms after being hit by a van. This resulted in balance issues/concussion/dizziness etc. Dr Omishore is empathic, patient, has extraordinary competence with her treatment, and is very reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr Omishore for her professionalism, belief in clients’ ability to heal, and excellent training.
The staff at Ridge is excellent, the physical therapists are amazing. Everyone is kind and caring while working with clients to improve the mobility and use of your injured joint. They got me back up and moving well after 2 knee replacements. I highly recommend Ridge PT.
This is a delayed review, but one I should have left a long time ago. The kind folks here were absolute life savers during a serious health problem that had left me sidelined from work and life for many months. They were able to get me back on track and healed. It can be a bit pricey depending on insurance coverage, but for me it was worth every penny—I had been to a (cheaper) PT previously for months with absolutely zero progress. I owe 5 Point my sincere gratitude.

I reached out to Neighborhood Health because of persistent daily headaches. After consistent sessions the headaches went away, and the acupuncture also helped with other muscular issues. My experience at the clinic has been really great.

Amazing experience. Definitely will be going back for regular body maintenance.I came in because I was having what felt like nerve pain in my hands. My left hand had been numb for a week or so and it was becoming harder to use my hands and hard to use my left arm at all without pain.She asked questions, listened and focused on the area that was causing the pain.The placement was gentle and the session was comfortable, like a mediation sleep. I feel so much better. The tension has released, the pain is gone and range of movement is back. I’m so thankful for her work.

I started seeing Stephanie for acupuncture treatments in my third trimester. At the time, my baby was breech, I was severely anemic and I had just gone through a traumatic 2 days in the hospital, and my entire nervous system was completely shot. I have previously seen a number of different acupuncturists during my pregnancy and had only felt a slight difference from those treatments for maybe 24 hours following them. However, the treatments with Stephanie were very, very different. During our sessions, we discussed what was going on for me physically mentally emotionally and spiritually at length. The questions she asked to inspire conversation between us were very intuitively led and I felt that once she put the needles in and it was time for me to rest and relax for the rest of the session, many doorways and pathways opened up for me internally. Stephanie is a very special and unique acupuncturist. Not only did my baby turn head down and my health rapidly improved, but the continued sessions with her significantly helped build my confidence in myself as a mother. I went into labor naturally a few days before my due date, and it was my dream labor and birth experience. My Midwife (who is also a huge fan of Stephanie) was surprised at the efficiency of my labor for a first time mom, as I was only in active labor for a short period of time before I was pushing. Now holding my 5 week old baby in my arms as I write this, it’s hard for me to express the gratitude I have for Stephanie and her many gifts she offers during her sessions. I can’t imagine where I would be mentally and physically without her. I feel so happy, settled and confident in myself as a new mother, which I know is a rare thing in the early postpartum days. While I may be sleep deprived, I feel very hormonally balanced. I would highly recommend Stephanie to any expectant and/or post birthing parents. I know I will continue to see her for sessions during this first year of motherhood while breast-feeding. Thank you Stephanie! You are a god send!

Yulia is incredible! Recently my daughter and I did the Family Treatment Hour. It was amazing! My daughter is 10 and it was the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon. He explains everything clearly and clearly, and if necessary, repeats it several times without shouting or unnecessary emotions. Be sure that with him you will pass driving the first time! My experience with the San Juan school was undoubtedly incredible, since I started at the driving school I felt safe when taking my classes, always with the support and advice to give when driving, in the confidence that They can give you as much in the office as the school instructors, I found it somewhat difficult to pass my test my second time, but thanks to them and God I was able to pass it without any difficulty, it was something unbelievable, I feel happy and grateful for them, for the final result and remember that although the school does everything, you also have to do your part ? Robert is a great instructor. Very patient and helped me as I was nervous. I had another session with Jeremy and I felt he was terrible. Yelled at me when I wasn’t able to do my 3 point turn which gave me anxiety with doing this turn. He was not a good instructor at all.
This was one of the best decisions I made. This driving school took care of me while I was learning how to drive. As a person who never drove before I came to this school, I have left prepared with a great foundation be able to drive on the road. The customer service was A1, the process to get anything administrative done was quick and easy, and the preparation for the road test made me less anxious for the road test. My instructor, Earnest, is all I could have ever asked for in a driving instructor: caring, while being able to give honest feedback to prepare you for the road test and the road. I recommend!
I was a completely new driver and passed my road test on the first try. I took a total of 18 lessons with Ben who was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He provided all the tools needed to successfully pass the road test. Teaching safety is a priority at Pierre Paul and making sure that I understood the difference between each sign so I could be efficient on the road. I highly recommend Pierre Paul Driving school to anyone looking for the right leadership and direction in order to receive your license.

I had an amazing experience with Roadcraft Driving Academy. The service was very nice and made scheduling really easy. Yana helped make the whole process easy and smooth. Eugene was an amazing instructor and was really patient and helpful in explaining how to do everything right when driving. I highly recommend this school to anyone who needs help and is just starting to learn to drive!
Had 7 classes (14 lessons) with instructor Mr. Zhou (周老師) and I just passed the test smoothly. Mr. Zhou was very encouraging and patient and gave me a lot of confidence in driving. He was also very nice and we chatted a lot in every class which made the classes really enjoyable. My mother had some other instructor from another school couple years ago and we can really tell the difference in our experiences as Mr. Zhou never gave attitude and gave very clear instructions.
