I cannot recommend Kevin and his team highly enough. First of all, Kevin waited patiently, did several walkthroughs, and talked in detail with me many times over--for free--as I hemmed and hawed for two years before finally deciding to invest the money. My problem was terrible, relentless impact noise from the unit upstairs. Hundred-year-old building, wood-beam construction, no insulation or anything at all between ceiling and floor above. My only regret is that I did not do the job sooner. Kevin's price was more than reasonable, and he did a great job managing expectations (as in, the result is not going to be total silence). He worked patiently and expertly with my Manhattan co-op board and managing agent--no small feat. The job was finished on time, within budget, and for weeks after, I kept finding all these extras that Kevin's team had done for free: covering all my electrical outlets, for example, which had long been naked. And the paint was not just over the drywall they installed--my whole place got a brand spanking new paint job. The impact noise is better than 75 percent mitigated--it is almost nonexistent. If you're hemming and hawing about doing work with Kevin, stop and just do it. I, for one, could not be happier. --Deborah

Highly recommend Kevin and his crew!We had a great experience from start to finish with them. Kevin was very responsive to our requests and questions when getting a quote, and his pricing was very reasonable. Once the work started, his team worked very efficiently, kept us posted on the progress, and incorporated our feedback. (We sound-proofed one of our bedrooms, enhanced closet spaces, and did a few cosmetic touch-ups & sound-proofing for our hallway area.) We were working under time constraint as we were expecting a baby soon, and the project finished on the timeframe Kevin promised and we are happy with the result.

We have worked on three projects now with Kevin, Navin & their expert crew.First project involved retrofit exterior wall insulation using intello & dense packed cellulose. They worked quickly & cleanly to pack in this eco friendly AND VERY QUIET thermal barrier. During road construction & new water main project the noise of back hoe and jackhammers was seriously reduced inside. Great work.We also hired the crew to blow in loose cellulose (same material different application in our roof loft adding additional R value at that major point of heat loss.Finally, we recently brought the crew back for soundproofing project between our apt & the garden rental - their "emergency soundproofing" really help ease tensions with our otherwise beloved neighbors and give us all a bit more privacy.One thing I HIGHLY SUGGEST - is listen to Kevin & Navin - if they make recommendations to change / alter the plan - it's going to be based on experience and good instincts. They are always reasonable for this quality and they look at the big picture and want to make sure you are happy with the final result for your project.Thanks guys! 100% recommend
