I was super nervous about my first time getting waxed but Vivian definitely made it very comfortable and not at all awkward. It was like I was just having a chat with an old friend and I wasn’t at all uncomfortable. I already booked my next appointment before I left and she even made time to do my eyebrows which I hadn’t scheduled in advance. I would highly recommend anyone on the fence about it, to try here. BASE COLOR - NATURAL ASH PERFECTION! I have previously struggled with brassy base colors with other stylists. My nemesis! Hope created the perfect ash base color while avoiding brassy undertones. She actually listened to me when I said a developer at 20 was too strong for me and leaves my color brassy and she lowered it to what my fine hair prefers + tailored the color to my specific needs. She delivered that cooler base I had in my younger days.
BRIGHT HIGHLIGHTS = SHINE: The highlights are exactly what I wanted and have missed. The brightness against the ash base created that perfect contrast, imparting a shine straight from the beach. Her baby-lites are perfect and better for me than the trendy and thicker highlights that can overpower my fine hair and end up looking striped. Previously with other stylists, I have felt my highlights were muddy against my base color.
HAIR THINNING ISSUES: I am thinning around the hairline along my face and missed having highlights there, as base color only seemed to make it appear thicker but made my skin feel dull. Hope created the illusion of volume with a depth and brightness by artfully placing the highlights where I had enough base colored hair behind them to back them up. With highlights framing my face once again, I can pull my hair up or back and still have the brightness against my skin, yet I do not look bald.
SHE LISTENS! Hope's warmth, knowledge, and kindness were truly appreciated. She made me feel not only valued as a client but also understood on a personal level. I know with my very specific concerns, it might not be as much fun or creative for a stylist, but she never made me feel odd for all my input.

I have been desperately looking for someone to give me a trim and not try to upsell or push a bunch of other things on me. I don’t need balayage or extensions or sparkles or anything like that. I just wanted a freaking haircut without paying 100 bucks for it. I happened to walk in on a whim to see if this place could meet my needs because of the convenient parking location when I was in the area for something else. Lashawna was kind enough to squeeze me in and do exactly what I asked, without any added frills that I did not have time for today. She was efficient, friendly, affordable, and most of all, did exactly what I asked. My haircut came out BEAUTIFULLY. The location is relaxed and not overwhelming like so many cattle car salons out there. Customer for life!

Any time I've needed a haircut and she was on vacation I've tried a couple other places in Lexington and Sulphur Kentucky where I live now.
They don't come close at all to the quality of cutting hair than her.
It is worth the 1 1/2 hour drive to see her.

I've seen Michael Carter twice now for highlights and a cut at the Tates Creek location. The results have made me very happy! He's so knowledgeable about the products he uses and is gentle with your hair. Just a wonderful hairdresser!

Great guys that give great cuts! Service is fast and to your liking, friendly conversation makes you feel welcome, and they always have great music or the latest sports playing on the tvs! The prices are also competitive for an amazing result.
My only complaint is that I live out of town and have to drive 35 min each way just to get here, but that's not the shop's fault. The fact that I am willing to do so and drive past literally dozens of barbers more conveniently located to my home should tell you all you need to know.

From my experience this is the highest quality barber shop in Central Kentucky. I have been a client of Hunter’s for over a year now, and I can’t remember ever receiving a more professional, consistent, and skilled haircut or beard trim in my life. The prices are very consistent with the quality of the cut, and I appreciate how easily I’m able to book in advance and find a convenient time that fits my schedule.

It was my first time visiting this particular shop. Needed something close to where I was going to be due to an appointment I had. I was the first one at the shop this particular morning. I just needed a pedicure, and the gentleman that was their greeted me soon as I walked in. He told me that they wasn't there yet but was on the way. I waited for about 5 or 10 more minutes and the gentleman who done my pedicure arrived. I had a great experience and will probably go back to see how well they do on nails. He done a fantastic job on my feet and took his time.
Under new ownership. I went in July 2024. Interior is totally remodeled. They have what seems like a thousand colors or more now. They told me they have 100 shades of chrome. The girl next to me got a cool design that turned out great. It felt clean and professional. The couple that owns it were there welcoming customers in. They were friendly and fun to talk with while I got my nails done. I will be going back for sure!!

I've been coming here for years now off and on but pretty often (atleast once a month) for over a year and a half now and I've never had a bad experience. Michael, Mario, and Chey all know what they are doing and are very good at their job. Always polite, professional, and listen to my concerns if I have any. With that being said in last 2 years I've also "tried" several other nail salons which are considered "Top 5" in Lexington and my services at these other places does not come close to what I get done here at Greatest Nails. I've had to have Greatest Nails fix other salons major mishaps and I always leave Greatest Nails happier than when I walked in. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance instead of believing a bunch of people who are disgruntled because they didn't plan ahead and make appointments on busy holidays and have nothing better to do than complain about music. Go to any other salon then come back here an complain about something real.

I started seeing her over a year ago; I found her on the Face Reality website & really wanted to get on top of the adult acne I had been experiencing since covid. I joined the Acne Bootcamp program & when I tell you Trish has worked miracles on my skin… I mean it! My acne has cleared up significantly & she’s really helped eliminate dark marks & even out my skin tone. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things skincare including diet/lifestyle habits as well as the best skincare products for your skin type. She also makes herself easily available through text if you have questions or need to do a last minute product pickup, and I never ever feel like she’s trying to “upsell” me on things I don’t need. The acne bootcamp facials aren’t exactly intended to be relaxing (since a good portion of it involves extraction) but I always find myself looking forward to them & feel so relaxed that I take a little nap every time— LOL! Service was excellent. But room needs to be cleaned, furniture/decor wax covered in dust you can tell it hasn’t been cleaned in a while floor also was dirty and I was an early morning the client.

This was the best 60th born day for me. You made me feel special as a person. The body wrap was amazing, and it made me feel so soft for days and I saw myself as a thinner me afterwards. Our guy’s name was Keith and he did a FANTASTIC job. If you need a tattoo, get it from this guy. He did my girlfriend’s tattoo and one for me. He reassured us and made sure everything was done exactly as we wanted it. He had fantastic suggestions for our tattoos and made sure the color came out on my girlfriend’s tattoo exactly how she wanted it. He helped make sure the design for my tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it to be. We couldn’t have had a better tattoo experience. The rates were beyond reasonable and our artist was talented and deserved every penny. We would go here again in a heartbeat!! I want to start off by saying the atmosphere of this tattoo shop is extremely open and welcoming. All the staff were really nice and fun to talk to. They were also very accommodating and were willing to work with me and asked if I needed anything throughout the whole process. They were even ok with making a last minute change. I definitely recommend this place for any tattoos you might get, whether it being your first or your tenth!
Me and my boyfriend were out of town and wanted to get a quick tattoo before we leave from vacation. Called the store to see if they had walk-in and sure enough they did. We went to the place was clean and quiet. Me and my boyfriend both got tattoos and was out of there at a reasonable time. Matt was very nice and talkative. He drew up the tattoos and it was a quick process. I would recommend and would come again if we are back next year.

Not only did they contact me a very short time after I submitted a request (after hours), they were able to come and fix our problem the very next day and worked incredibly with my schedule! Bluegrass Company is A #1 +++ in our opinion and neither my husband nor I are relatives, or personal friends. This is the second time that we have had them - this time, because we reupholstered furniture and wanted it protected the right way! In addition to protecting the new upholstery, Kevin shared with us the specifics of how to handle any spills that may occur, AND they are now doing the same excellent job on hardwood floors. Kevin told us which products we should NOT use on our wood floors along with the 'why', and agreed that our floors are not in need (yet) of any attention beyond the usual. Sorry to be so wordy but I never get anything out of 'one word' ratings- I always want the reasoning behind the rating- and now you have it!

I had the pleasure of having Autumn H clean my home and it was great! I love using top mops for a few reasons: 1) great communication.. I knew exactly when she was arriving and when she left.. also I knew what she intended to do, what she needed before she came, and what to expect. She also asked if there was anything I really wanted her to focus on 2) the products she used actually cleaned my laminate floors and didn’t leave it streaky.. also no weird smells 3) I can tell she actually moved things to clean under and behind them 4) she cleaned my backsplash I feel like this is something that gets over looked 5) i have a black Aussie doodle who sheds very badly and she was able to get his fluff off the trim and off my white floors 6) the overall professionalism autumn h demonstrated was great! I tried to go through Lowe's and Home Depot for new carpet installation and nothing was transparent. They use a third party company to do everything so you can never get the same person on the phone and they don't communicate well about appointments or measurements.
At Corvin's, I worked directly with Debbie Cain, who has been with this family-owned local company for many years. She was incredible and their staff are very professional and efficient at what they do. The prices are also very fair, and quite frankly, the peace of mind and reliability is worth every penny. I paid around $2500 for 3 bedrooms which included carpet, install, and haul away of old carpet. The installers took about 4 hours and were incredibly professional. They will move furniture and take care of your house to make sure nothing gets damaged upon all the work they are doing. It was quite the process to watch.
They also communicate their arrival the day of the install. I also paid everything in full before the installation date. Corvin's was super flexible on how I wanted to do this, so I decided it worked best for me to pay everything up front. I'm glad I did. They took very good care of me and the final result looks incredible. I will definitely work with them again in the future if I need additional work done. Support local!

Sarah came to do two measures, way out of her way before he day even started (oops on scheduling the first time to get in the house pre-move in day), provided samples and got me exactly what we wanted, hustled to arrange installation before our movers arrived, and was lovely and professional throughout the entire process.The installers did a gorgeous job, were polite and considerate, and worked long days to get the job done in time for the movers arrival.

We had a great experience with HDH! We were referred by a friend who also had a good experience with remodeling of his home. Our project was large, including complete renovation of a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. From the first visit, Erik (owner) was so helpful and accommodating. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for our space and Erik was able to take what little vision I had and design something beautiful and updated that is still widely appealing if we ever decide to sell our home. With his design and layout ideas, we were able to add our own touches to fit our family.

I don’t normally write reviews but it’s the least I could do in this case.
We had a number of fixes/repairs that needed to be made to a house we were selling. Our closing date was three days away and many of the items that we’d had done by another vendor were not done properly or not done at all. We were in a panic and thought surely the contract on the house would fall through. This was a Saturday. I called several businesses and either didn’t get an answer or was told it’d be Monday before they could come out. Then I talked to Manny and explained our situation to him. He asked for the address and said he’d be there right away - even sent me a screenshot of his ETA from his phone which I loved!
I walked him through the list of various repairs, from exterior siding/painting, to electrical work, plumbing. Not a short list! He listened, asked for an hour to confirm that his guys could work Sunday and assured me he’d take care of it. He texted less than an hour later to confirm they’d be there the next day - again a Sunday! - to get it all done.
Sunday, Manny kept me updated on progress via text and checked with me on a couple of things that I hadn’t really considered because he wanted to be sure that, not only that items got crossed off the list, but that work was done right and would satisfy our potential buyers. He sent word at 5:30 that everything was done - what a relief!
When I got to the house to check the next mornong, I was blown away by the quality of the work! Take a look at the photos of the before and after for some of the exterior work to see what another contractor had done compared to Mannys work. He even painted another side of the house that we hadn’t mentioned because it had faded would’ve looked awful compared to the sides we had asked to be patched. Not only that, but other than the work you’d have never known his guys were there - everything was cleaned up and as it was before they were there.
I really can’t express how grateful we are to Manny and his crew for helping us out of what felt like an impossible situation. Exceptional work, exceptional service, exceptional care. Five stars doesn’t even come close. Will recommend to everyone I can. Thank you, Manny!

Great group of guys that get the job done quick and efficiently. They were removing a tree in my front yard that was infected by a fungus. It was a hazard to not just my family, but my neighbors as well. Got a fair pricing and the work was completed within a total of two work days. Took two days simply cause they didn't wanna ruin my yard with the machinery while it was still a bit wet outside. From the time I moved in to when they were able to show up, I had several large branches fall as well as smaller debris that I had collected and placed on my front porch. B&R cut down a tree in in our front yard. I was impressed with the team. They were knowledgeable and prepared for the job with all the right tools. I have been seeing Dr. Sara Brown for almost two years. Every adjustment is catered to my body, gentle and just where needed. Never a hard or rough experience. The focus is on daily habits, care and physical therapy. Recently I had a pretty intense pain after a vacation and Dr Sara was able to find a rib that was not in place and gently fixed it. It was amazing how much better I feel and I was able to instantly stop pain meds for it.

I took my son here to see Dr. Jenna Turner. He was having digestive issues, and sleep issues. After just 1 visit he was doing much better! Dr. Jenna was also very playful, fun, and interactive with my 3 yr old. He loves coming to their office to see her and views it as a “fun” outing.

Since I have moved and relocated my senior cat and 2 senior dogs to Kentucky, I can attest of all 3 other vet clinics I have visited--Dr Clark and his staff are more personable and they empathize with my loved ones. Yesterday, I had to make an extreme and devastating decision to put my dog down. Dr Clark examines with so much compassion and honesty. It doesn't matter how long it takes--he is providing exceptional care for your loved ones. I live 30 minutes away and choose any other vet clinics but this one is where I will remain. His staff are very nice, professional, and caring as well.

What truly sets Camp Bow Wow apart is the incredible staff. They're super friendly and take the time to get to know each dog individually. One of the main things I love is that it’s the standard of care for daycare to come with boarding and isn’t an “additional service.” To allow dogs to socialize when they have to be boarded shouldn’t be something you have to add on as an extra service like other competitors here in our town. I also loved having access to the camera so that I could check in on him during the day. My doggo was a very happy pup when I picked him up! It was like picking a kid up from summer camp. I can’t say the same about another place we have taken him to, in which I could tell by his demeanor that he had been upset while being boarded. The atmosphere and people made me feel so comfortable leaving him at Dogtopia - Lexington.
We can always trust Keshlyn to take great care of our furbabies while we are away. I love seeing the pictures of them happy & running during play time. It’s hard leaving our dogs with someone else but I know they’re in good hands!

My girl Gracie, a Great Pyrenees, was so much more comfortable in last summer’s heat and humidity thanks to Mutt Cutt’s groomers. They knew just was to do with her breed. We are going to do that same thing this year. Even though I live nearly an hour away, I wouldn’t take Gracie anywhere else.
My dog is disabled and they accommodated him really well . They did an amazing job with his cut . No nicks and they got all his mats out . The price is fair and worth it for the services they do and for the patience and care they put into their work .

I absolutely love Wildfire Yoga! Not only are the instructors extremely skilled and knowledgeable, but the studio is absolutely beautiful. I started with the intro package and within the first couple weeks I noticed that my posture had improved and my stress levels were down. Everyone is kind and welcoming and there are a variety of wonderful classes to take!

Great instructors, a wide variety of classes, diverse times, clean air, clean studio, kept at a great temperature, lots of windows with natural light and a friendly atmosphere. The owner is also lovely and has made this a special place in Lexington to practice for sure.

I've been a client of Laura Cox, the chief yoga instructor at Breathe Pilates, since 2013. It's been one of the best parts of my life since -- practicing yoga as her student and client.I started yoga knowing NOTHING about it. I wasn't exercising regularly and rarely ever had. Over several years working with her and other fine folks at a local hot yoga studio I still go to on off days from Breathe, I learned peace and grit while gaining strength and flexibility I never thought a middle-aged guy could pick up. The main reason for that was Laura's excellent teaching. She remains enthusiastic in each class, individualizes instruction for you in group settings, and was very popular among the clients at the studio.She had wheels in motion to open her own studio just when the COVID lockdown hit, and she went through with it, opening first through Zoom and over time in person (though she still has several Zoom clients from all over the country). I started attending her Vinyasa classes and am so glad I still do. My strength and flexibility continues to improve, and it says a lot that I get out of bed early to go work out with her when I'd usually sleep in otherwise. It's an amazing way to start the day three days a week.Laura's studio at Breathe is the best yoga experience you could ask for. It only holds a few people, and it's not unusual for there to only be a couple of us in person with one or two additional folks on Zoom. That means she can really help us individually, and we also get to have fun with her as she sings us instructions or yells out "Party Toes" randomly. She designs workouts that she knows we need and caters them to who's in class that day. For example, I fell on black ice six years ago and smashed my L1 vertebra together, limiting my lower back flexibility and especially my ability to do situps and traditional ab work. It's common for us to do ab work in yoga classes I attend that I can actually do -- she makes it possible for me by seeking out exercises for that part of the body that vary from the standard, and yoga has helped me live a normal life (my physical therapy -- the doctor told me to go back to yoga class as it was already doing all we'd do in PT). She's always learning new methods and trying them on us to help us as a class and individually -- a perpetual student and teacher.So if you're new to yoga or have some experience and just want to find a relaxed and helpful studio, Laura's Breathe yoga classes are an awesome choice. Her rates are reasonable, and her careful guidance is priceless.
I visited Shine while on a family trip to Kentucky -- I didn't want to lose the progress I'd made using reformer-based Pilates to alleviate a lower back problem. They were welcoming and effective.

I joined, and will update my post to share if the experience still holds through and if I am seeing the difference in my health wellness and body. The only downside is I work, therefore trying to get into the early morning sessions, which is my preference is hard. It's a popular place so you've fuck out pretty far. You're going to a waiting list. You're flexible you into the schedule that you need. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and answered my question. You've got nothing to lose with the free introductory class.

Love this place. Everyone is so nice and uplifting, from coaches to other members. I always leave feeling exhausted and accomplished. I don’t feel judged or insecure coming in. Received a gift-card for my birthday after seeing their instagram pop up. I’m new to the area but after visiting for the first time, I felt an urge to share my review. I just visited the shop but, but plan to book other services. The shop is dreamy and magical! I had to walk the store 3-4 times over and kept finding more items I couldn’t leave without. Ali takes time a listens to the issues and trouble areas are. She helped me when I had issues with my back. I lifted something and tweaked it and had a lot of trouble moving around, but she worked it out. Amazing hamstring, forearms, neck work as well. Kris, at the Richmond Road facility, helped the aggravated nerve problem in my leg. After about four sessions I went from constant pain in my hip and leg to very manageable, and still improving nerve pain free mobility. Kris also identified other minor nerve and balance problems that I didnt know I had and provided excersizes that I can do at home to improve those. I'm glad I went to Athletico on Richmond Road.
