I’ve been a natural curly girl all my life and as we know, have had some terrible experiences with hairstylists not actually knowing how to do curly hair. Eventually I learned to cut my own and have for the past 7 years.

I recently moved to Louisville and needed to find a salon. I tried three salons and was not pleased with the results. Thankfully, I asked my neighbor where she had her hair done because it looked great and she told me about this salon. My stylist is Shana and she is wonderful! She is bubbly and knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. I love the color and the cut. She did a GREAT job.
Keaton was great! My son was hesitant on getting a haircut from someone new but it was worth it! He made sure the fade was blended exactly the way it should be. And the price is fantastic.

I have yet to use their tanning services, but I had to get on here to shout out Jenna ? My wedding is coming up in 6 weeks with a honeymoon in Mexico to follow. Not being a tanning girly, she walked me through my options, shows me the beds, and suggested when she thought I should return to start The Tour of the City package. She was beyond knowledgeable on the different levels, rays, effect of each. She was so nice and made me feel confident in starting services here. You're awesome, Jenna!!!
Glow by Reed was a 5 star experience. She was extremely knowledgeable about her product and explained everything about the spray tan and the process. Not only did she make me look beautiful by the end of the visit I felt like I had known her my entire life. She is a down to earth and humble human being and I am so glad I picked this salon to do my spray tan. Thank you for such a wonderful visit and a way to kick off my first day ever being in Kentucky.
Hands down the best tanning salon the employers are so nice and educated about tanning and for the prices. U can't go wrong, I would recommend it to everyone. So much better than Suntan City. I've not had the spray tan yet but I am going to try it out. But everything else is on point.

Somehow my membership got terminated and I have a very good membership price locked in! Not only did they call and get the issue resolved they went ahead and got me back for a courtesy tan while they figured it out! Thank you so so much!

my nails haven’t looked this good in SO long. i got my nails done in FL and the lady did so bad after a week all of the nails were lifting and two fell off which is not normal, and she said french tip was “too hard” well it sure isn’t for Elite Nails Lounge! they did amazing and fixed the disaster that were my nails before. they are so kind and you can tell they care about their customers walking out happy. they take their time and i am so thankful! <3
I’ve been going to Peter for 4-5 years, now. He’s the only person I go to when I want a full set done. My full set Acrylic nails always turns out neat and clean. Peter can do any nail design. I live in Radcliff and will travel 45mins-1hr out Everytime, to this nail salon because he’s that good! To add, Beyouty nails is a very pretty calming spa. The decor is what makes is calming. Customer service is outstanding! Beyouty nails also offers other services like lash extensions and eyebrow waxing. I highly recommend Beyouty Nails!

When I walked in to Fine Nails to see about getting a mani and pedi they were able to fit me in because they had a cancellation. I brought my own nail color but they had a wide variety to choose from. Hoaly was fantastic and was so welcoming and made you feel like family. I will absolutely make an appointment next time to to make sure I can get in with them. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to get a mani and pedi at a great price to call and make an appointment. There are only three of them that work there so be patient... they are worth waiting on.

It was amazing! Incase you need a pricing reference, this full set cost $55.00 USD. I think they looked fantastic. The outside of the shop is a bit run down but the inside looks great. They said they closed at 5 on New Year’s Day but they stayed after time to finish my nails.
Always expedient, but never rushed! Nails always perfect, and if somehow there's any small deviation they will fix it immediately with no fuss. (Example, my job once told me to immediately go shorten them after getting my nails done. They were awesome about fixing this, even though it was through no fault of their own!)
I've had to go to other nail places a total of 3 times, and I regretted each visit. (I moved and couldn't get back here for nails! ) When I moved back and my partner asked if I wanted to start doing my nails again, I told him only if we could go to my favorite place to do them! So we drive across town for the best service around! ❤️
Will note we also have taken our oldest kiddos, who also had a blast! A great place for my partner and son to do their nails, as they were concerned about places being weird with them doing theirs as well. Partner says his manicure hand massages top the ones from the chiropractor, just don't tell the Chiro! ?

I hadn't seen my stylist from out of state in over a year and my hair was in need of some TLC. I wasn't sure how to explain the previous cut and color, but Abby didn't miss a beat. I had an amazing experience with my eyelash technician Margo ! She went above and beyond to ensure that I got the exact look I wanted and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The atmosphere of the salon is lovely, and the staff are very attentive to the health of your eyelashes. I got my brows tinted and consultation on going over some previous ombré brow work. Nicki recommended the tint first to see if I liked her work first, which I booked and appointment to get done. I got to her shop and walked inside. I was welcomed inside and informed they were a no shoe salon, which I love and do same at home. She directed me to a chair by the door. I took my shoes off and placed them on a shoe rack by the chair. She had comfy fuzzy sock in a basket for me to wear inside salon! Nicki the walk me down a hallway and offered a selection of scrubs to wash my hands! I chose a vanilla bourbon option and was directed to bathroom to wash my hands! I went back to get started. There was a table in front of salon with a big cushion in the middle to put my legs on as I laid down. This was awesome as I have back issues and it kept pressure off it! She explained she wanted to tweak my brows to make them even and get rid of the two tones on them. She cleaned the area and applied some tea tree oil that smelled devine. Nicki really took her time and did a fabulous job! She did explain she wanted to wait for my brows to get lighter before she tried anything more permanent. She said since she didn’t know the previous color put on my brows and whether going over them would work! She was honest and didn’t want to take my money on a process that wouldn’t work, which I appreciated so much! Some salons would just take your money and do it anyway without telling you that! The end result were great. Nicki said I could do the tint monthly as we wait for my previous work to lighten up! I did schedule an appointment for next month! Also, she had some great body products and I purchased three of them! I am so pleased with her services and will gladly be an ongoing customer! I highly recommend!

Ollivia was my stylist and she gave me the exact cut and color I asked for, was super friendly and very gentle with my hair (no yanking through knots while styling) and the price for a cut, all over color, styling, and a bottle of shampoo was SUPER reasonable. I have wavy/curly hair and Kim did an amazing job cutting my hair! It looks exactly how I wanted. She did a dry cut, shampooed, scrunched with a microfiber towel, and diffused my hair. Cut and shampoo were $35. Kim is also very nice and it was a generally stress-free environment.

You probably COULD find a cheaper place to get extensions but at Lashtastic you know you’re going to get lashes applied correctly. I was having an issue with fall out previously and since going to Chloe, I have seen much better retention with my extensions. If you’re new to extensions they give amazing post care instructions and after 7 years of wearing extensions I learned new and better ways to taking care of my extensions. They provide you with a whole post care kit and the tools you need to take care of them. My first appointment we sat down and she went through my life style and my previous experiences. We talked about the products I use and again I learned more about how products effect the longevity of my extension. I had my first waxing experience here with Kareena and she was WONDERFUL! I was nervous about the appointment being awkward but Kareena’s genuine and friendly personality made me feel so comfortable. She walked me through every step of my appointment and she recommended specific after-care products for me based on my skin type. Dianne has decades of experience and knowledge about her craft, and is highly skilled at waxing anything on your body. But for me, the big thing is that she's also phenomenal at shaping brows. My eyebrows are a challenge, and since they frame the face, having someone who can make them look their best is key. I'll definitely be back to see Dianne on repeat!!! ?

I got the Luzern Collagen Boost Facial with Dermaplane. First timer here for the Dermaplane and my girl Kelly was absolutely great. She was the absolute sweetest and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. She was very knowledgeable and helped me stay calm and addressed my concerns. She let me know exactly what she was doing during our appointment so my mind was at ease. Not to mention the massage after the facial was complete fire! 100% great.

Yvonne is an artist in every sense of the word. I highly recommend her if you are interested in brow microblading. She fully explained the process before beginning-- I felt no pressure to say "yes". And what a job she did! I went in with almost no eyebrows and came out with a beautiful pair of natural looking brows that give definition to my face and eyes in a way I've never had. My home is built on a slab and I had been having trouble off and on with water backing up in the drain in my laundry room. I had my local plumber, who is very trustworthy, look at it a number of times. The last time there here they said part of the pipe needed to be replaced which was bowed. This meant a major job of tearing up and putting back. A very expensive endeavor. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and called Vessels. They came today, ran a camera under the house and said it looked clear. We explained to them what we had been told. Jason and Chris were so helpful and told us they did not see any problems under the house. They did discover a place in the line running from my house to the outside line which runs under my driveway. Our next step is to contact City to get that repaired as it’s on the City property. Jason and Chris took their time explaining the process to us and what they felt should be done. I was very impressed with Vessel’s response time and the extra time they took with us. Their solution was much, much better than our earlier estimate. I told Jason and Chris that they were my two favorite people today!!?

We had an issue with our Car's key FOB so I went Bowles. They messed with it for a couple minutes and told me that an internal piece had come loose and was jamming the buttons. Stop scrolling, stop looking- these are the people to hire for your hardwood floors. Our 133 year old hardwood floors were in terrible shape. Over the years, previous owners had completed poor patch jobs, covered it in paint, self-leveling cement, and epoxy. I called Dave, he came over the same day for an estimate, and work started the next day. AND WOW. Our floors look amazing. Dave and his team are no nonsense, highly skilled at their craft, and very trustworthy. I cannot say enough good things about them. We recently had a small house fire. We had insurance coverage of course and went the normal Insurance restoration company route. After having multiple sub contractors in our home for months on end we reached out to Trade Works to help us out of the mess that was created by the other company. The difference was beyond night and day. They employee their people, they aren't just unvetted sub contractors, their people are representatives of their Brand and its obvious they care a lot about the Brand. I am not exactly a customer, but I saw them mowing the lawn of my neighbors and being as to how my husband has been negligent on out lawn since he decided an electric mower is the best way, I got tired if seeing the grass as high as it was. I waved them down and asked them how much they would charge. It was reasonable and they did it that day. I am very happy with the work and them taking the time to fit us in. I will definitely keep them in mind if I need more consistent attention
I had an inspection yesterday and received good news. We had a small area that had flying ants but no areas with evidence of termites. He did not attempt to sell a termite or any other service. He onlyrecommended that we get an inspection every 2 years unless we saw something that needed attention.

I have become a big fan of Lopez Tree Service. Back in July, they did a great job removing two very large limbs that split from our tulip poplar and fell onto our dogwood and were very close to our electrical wires. We just had them come back today to finish taking down the damaged tulip poplar, which was a VERY tall 25-year-old tree. They got the whole thing taken down and cleaned up everything in just over an hour. (They will come back to grind out the stump next week.) It was amazing to watch the crew work--they function like a well-oiled machine and don't waste even a second! They were very careful to keep the tree off of my house as they took it down; they moved planters and flower pots out of the way before they started working and put them back when they were finished; and they cleaned up so well that my yard looked better when they left than when they arrived. With both jobs, Mr. Lopez and his tree crew got us scheduled quickly, showed up when they said they would, and charged us a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them again whenever we need tree work--and we're going to contact them next about some landscaping. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Perez Tree Service removed overgrown bushes and trees on two of my fence lines. He came out and provided me a reasonable estimate and showed up on time the day of the service. The crew were professional and did an excellent job. I was extremely happy with how they cleaned up the job site before leaving. Benigno even helped me design landscaping to replace what I had removed. I suggest to use this company. I will use them for future jobs.

My relationship with Louisville Tree originated from buying our first home and never really thinking to look at the number of trees on the property line. Years ago a tree in our right-of-way died over the winter and needed to be removed. John recommended we call both LG&E and the state to have the tree removed before paying his company to have it taken down. Because of that honest advice I saved several thousands of dollars and we used them moving forward for all of our tree trimming business.
We've used them for the last several years for general tree trimming and they've always been exceptional to work with- always coming out multiple times for complimentary quotes, providing fast and efficient work, and lending knowledgeable advice regarding the health of our trees. Recently, one of our massive trees was brought to our attention as being very dangerous to both our house and our neighbor's. It was rapidly dying and LTS didn't feel comfortable leaving without recommending it was seriously trimmed if not removed. They would profit more from annual trimming, and in general it's my opinion that their intention is to always save trees where possible. We're very glad we reluctantly:) listened and had it fully removed. There was a section where one of the team's feet went completely through the tree.
Our house is in St. Matthews where the driveway and space for their team is very difficult. They never seem to lack a solution to get the job done, and our yard is always cleaner when they leave. The work is high quality and they take great pride in their services. Tree trimming is very costly regardless of who you go through, and rightly so- the equipment is expensive, insurance is required, and highly skilled workers put their lives at risk. I would hands down rather spend my money with a trusted company than cut cost corners. I would highly recommend this team.

ACME TREE Service did an EXCELLENT job cutting down and removing stumps of FOUR HUGE trees in my backyard. The price was $2,900 which is very reasonable for such enormous trees. The owner showed up fast for the quote and scheduled the job immediately. His crew of many nice men got the job done in two short days. I have owned nine homes, and ACME TREE is the best I have ever had. I highly recommed this company!
A lot of wood for $60! You just pull in, there’s a payment box, then you load it up and go. So much cheaper and more convenient then say the grocery stores, menards, or competitors’ listed website prices.

This most recent set of storms left me with my neighbor's enormous 100 ft tree across my driveway and on my house on a Sunday morning. Having used Danka Tree service in the past to remove a dead tree, I immediately called them to see if they could help with this monstrosity. Mr. Danka called me back within a matter of minutes and was at my house that afternoon. He and his helper worked tirelessly into the evening cutting and removing branches and the tree trunk to free up my driveway and get the limbs off my roof so he could tarp it to protect as much as possible from the storms due that evening. He then returned to my property and worked two more days cutting, chipping, and hauling debris. He and his crew were always courteous and professional. As someone that works in the dental field I’m very picky on who my family and I see as our provider. After working with many dentists in the area I realized I don’t trust any of their judgment or work. Came across Dr Smythe’s office on google and liked what I read about them. After my husband and I both seeing them I have nothing but amazing things to say!!! It was so quick getting scheduled, our hygienist, Kyley, was very trustworthy, she knew what she was talking about, and she was very involved. Dr Smythe couldn’t have been any more gentle or thorough; and I absolutely appreciated him explaining treatment in terms that my husband could understand and relate to. We each needed referrals out and they got us in quick and nothing about this process has stressed us out. If there’s a dentist I would now recommend in Louisville, it’s Dr. Smythe!

These women were outstanding!! I've already recommend them to everyone I work with. My teeth have been damaged by abuse, it has hurt not only my ability to get good jobs but my confidence and self love. The dentist is positive and motivated. She looked and set up a plan. Both ladies that I interacted with were great. The best part she found a way to save some too teeth and make a bridge so that they are permanent. I highly recommend Hurm Family Dentistry. Dr. Hurm and his staff take their time and make the experience a good one. Dr. Hurm spends time with you answering any questions and thoroughly explains any procedures or recommendations he might have for your dental care. I have a lot of anxiety when going to the dentist and they understand this and take their time to make me feel comfortable. This is the first dentist I've had who takes this kind of care of his patients.

Joint Chiropractic is wonderful! I went in with back and neck pain. I couldn’t get my back to stop hurting and neither did the other chiropractor I was going to. After the first visit, my back pain went away. I’ve seen Dr. Luke twice per week for 2 weeks and have seen so much improvement! They actually listen and provide a treatment plan that is designed specifically for you!!

Dr. Mark Smith is by far the best chiropractor I have met in the 20+ years I received chiropractic care. I’m so thankful to have found him several years ago. I now also trust him with my children’s chiropractic care. Dr. Smith is inquisitive every visit with us to better understand why we might be having the issues we are having and provides guidance on how to prevent issues etc. One of my children is a wrestler and the other one is a football player so this is extremely valuable to me. He has such a wonderful staff. I feel like family every time I walk in the door.

My schedule is sporadic and Wolter Chiropractic always worship me no matter what comes up. They are mindful and aware of the specific issues and I have not had one bad experience in 3 years with them.
Dr Graham is one of the best in his profession. I had a sciatic nerve problem and arthritis in both of my hips. I spent 45 days with Dr Graham, and he asked me where my pain was, and he then took care of me. I feel 100 percent better, and I have to give it all to Dr Graham. I'm not exaggerating when I talk about how profoundly this practice has changed my life. There is always a suggestion for whatever new ache and pain my body throws at me and the firmest yet gentlest hand to make things right where they need to be. I've struggled with so much body pain my whole life but have felt significantly better with each adjustment. I will recommend this practice and the providers as often as I can.

Geisha’s sacred season came by surprise. I was distraught and not at all ready to say goodbye. Dr. Bennett provided such gentle and loving care to my sweet baby boy. She developed a plan to keep him comfortable during the 10 weeks as the disease process continued. Although the progression of the disease was known, Geisha maintained an amazing quality of life. Those precious 10 weeks gave his bonded brother, Romeo, and I the time needed to shower Geisha with love and gratitude. I can’t thank Dr. Bennett and Cori enough. They gave me the gift of quality time with my baby before having to say goodbye. There is no greater gift.

We have been taking all of our animals here for a few years. All of the staff and both of the vets have done an excellent job in making us feel welcome, answering all of our questions, and addressing our concerns. Our oldest golden retriever is in the best health he’s ever been in thanks to Dr. O Grady and Dr. Townsend. Recently, we had to put one of our animals down, and Dr. O Grady was a saint in the process. She handled it in such a way that we knew it was the right decision and she was very comforting and supportive. The staff even sent us a condolences card that we appreciated so much. We won’t go to any other clinic in the area we love them so much and can’t recommend this clinic enough for any and all needs!

Dr. Jones has retired and the Cat Clinic is now operated by Dr. Kristen Corbett. She is wonderful. We have two cats and are recently trying to introduce a third, and very challenging kitty to our home. This third little guy (actually, not so little - 12 pounds) just doesn't know what he thinks of humans yet and can be pretty aggressive. We wanted a full health screen on him to protect our other cats and Dr. Cobett was amazing. I was bitten three times just getting him into a carrier, but Dr. Cobett found a way to give him a complete exam and do all the required blood work. This was no easy task, and she took it on knowing what she was up against. We are extremely grateful and delighted to have her as our new vet. I recommend her highly.

Yoga East is a wonderful place to practice. The large studio offers several sort of props from blocks, to eye pillows etc. The teachers are extremely attuned to the yogis, communicating and offering modifications and helping when needed. The classes have different levels from chair yoga to intermediate, and classes are prepared and presented in a mindful and sensitive way to accommodate every student. My experience at YOGA EAST has been super beneficial and amazingly feeling. Very highly recommended!

All of the instructors I've been with have taught larger classes while also still keeping an eye on me as a beginner to the practice. One of my favorite instructors so far has been Abby but I have enjoyed all of the classes and instructors so far! It really feels like a judgment free zone amongst all staff & other members at this studio. I am so thankful I gave hot yoga at this location a chance. Excited for the future with my new membership here.
I started going here about a month ago and have already seen the biggest changes in my body! It’s affordable and there are so many different classes to take so you never get bored. They have class times 24/7 and are open 24 hours a day so you can always get a workout in even if your work schedule is weird or busy. Super effective and great if you like working out by yourself too

I first connected with this center when I was in my darkest days. Shelly became my therapist and I can say with full confidence she helped save my life. I’ve been seeing her for about 5 years. I feel supported and like I’m in good hands. Not only do they have such wonderful therapists they have reiki massage therapy yoga yoni steaming and more. This center is truly for health for the whole body. I love this place!

Dealt with severe ligament/hip and low back pain for 4 1/2 years. Had seen a number of physicians and therapists, tried chiropractors, and various other treatments with no luck. Lane truly is a godsend for me. He is extremely genuine, solution driven and has an impeccable bedside manner. You will not be disappointed.

When I first came to Dr. Bray, I was experiencing intense shoulder and neck pain and debilitating migraines that serverly reduced my quality of life. I was going to the chiropractor weekly just to be able to function enough to work. I had given up on the idea of being able to workout again and live a life without chronic pain, I was prepared to establish care at a pain clinic.Dr. Bray started me on a regimen of trigger point needling and NRT. Since being under Dr. Bray’s care I no longer have chronic shoulder and neck pain or migraines. I was actually able to start taking Barre classes about seven months after I began care, which is mind blowing because I thought I would never be able to exercise again!Because I’ve had such success with treating my migraines I’m now getting treatment for lower back pain that I’ve had for about 20 years and had just learned to live with it.
I have been going to 6 different doctors at VA hospital, chiropractors 18 times. I jump from airplanes in the military. I have spent over $3,000.00 in hospital visits. This place is AMAZING! All of the front of house employees, Doctors, physical therapists,etc are such incredibly kind people who really take the time to get to know you on a personal level to be able to give you the level of quality of care that is unmatched! They do not treat you as a dollar sign but rather like family. As a bonus everything you could possibly need is all at 1 location so you're not having to trek all around the city to get what you're desperately needing. I could not recommend this facility more for your journey to recovery after the traumatic event of a car accident.

I left the Louisville area many years ago, but I have often wished I could go back to Dr. Odell for acupuncture. I have been to MANY acupuncturists over the years, but this guy is the best. And that's saying quite a lot, as I once worked for one of California's FINEST! Dr. Odell helped in several ways, but I'll never forget how he literally seemed to pull the phlegm right out of my chest! I wasn't too keen on the idea of electrical acupuncture, but he convinced me to let him give it a try, assuring me that I would be fine (I am very sensitive). It was incredible, and I'll never forget it!

Amelia is healing what was an excruciating 30+ year old back injury for me in a way that can only be done via acupuncture and cupping (and a few other tools in her belt). In a setting where I would normally be very uncomfortable with the amount of vulnerability necessary to allow her to work, her gentle and nurturing spirit immediately put me at ease. She listens. Having your 1st teen get their license is such a scary and stressful time but with Bill’s help teaching my daughter to drive, it put this momma at ease a little. I had the best experience with KY driving school. John is by the far best driving instructor you could have. I put off driving for years, I was always afraid. John made driving fun for me - he is the nicest and funniest instructor out there. 10/10 personality.
Had a great experience, with the yard instructor’s. I got my CDL A license, it was easy, but also challenging. The instructor’s want you to pass you class. All you have to do is work hard and listen to the instructions. The time went by really fast enjoying driving a semi truck. Ms. Nita was not true to her word when came to finding me a job once finishing school. She was mean and con people. She treated her assistant horribly,, she quit her job because of it. Which was a nice lady. I try to look positive on everything in life. Roger, Mark Jeff and Chris were great guys. sky’s the limit Thanks
