Simply excellent work! Alex was very thorough, diligent and professional. He did clean my title roof on the house and on the shed; With power wash, there was quite a mess all around and Alex then power washed my decks, deck roofs, drive way and around the house to make sure there were no debris . With respect to price, Alex's price was what I expected. I also had estimate from another company and its cost was prohibitive and I am sure they would not have done any better work than what Alex did with my project. I am very happy to recommend him to any one who is thinking of doing the similar power washing work.

An arborist (not from Garden City) recommended that I tear out my front lawn at the drip line of my huge oak tree and put down their fresh wood chip mulch--without mentioning that they didn't HAVE any wood chip mulch, fresh or otherwise, might not have any for the forseeable future, and would just as soon string me along with my now-bare-dirt front yard while I didn't pester them for it. After a couple of months of this, Garden City Tree and Landscape came to the rescue! Once I phoned them, not only did they have product in stock, they delivered 4 yards (half a dump truck) of composted woodchip mulch the following day. What a relief! (Only a handful of litter & rocks.)

Angela gives amazing hair! After growing out the last of my highlights, I was ready for a fresh start and had my consult with Angela to go over what I wanted. She listens and educates and we came up with a game plan and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The biggest compliment I can give this place is that it is very REAL. Josh and his partner Jess are very down to earth and approachable. I moved here from a salon downtown that I had been begrudgingly going to for years even though they never seemed to get a simple pixie cut right. Josh is a great hairdresser and is great person to talk to while he's working. He's delivered on what I've asked for each time I've been in and that sense of dread of being upsold or made to feel like you don't belong because you're not there for an ombre balayage updo or whatever tf is mercifully absent. Great music, great vibes, great space, great convo. So glad I made the move!

I moved to Langford recently and saw rave reviews for Vanessa at Rapunzel Hair Studio on Millstream (next to Domino's pizza). Vanessa cut my hair today and i think she has great skills and did a fabulous job! I highly recommend Vanessa! Also, the studio is really nice and clean and there is ample parking!

My mum told me to trim my beard because I looked like a homeless person, so I decided to visit Burt's Barbershop. The atmosphere there is fantastic. Burt and the other patrons kept me entertained with amusing conversations while I waited. I left looking like a male model—practically ready to star in "Zoolander." As someone who has moved around bc multiple times and tried numerous barbershops, rebellion stands alone at the top. If i could buy shares in this business i would.
At first I was sceptical of Mo’s talent and abilities because he seemed like too much of a character to also be this good at what he does. My barber shared the same salon as Mo and him and I would constantly argue about sports and other useless information like how un athletic and washed up he was now. However, since my barber decided to pack on up and move to a different province I had no choice but to give Mo a chance. And that was probably the best decision I could make. This guy knows hair better than baby knows how to soil itself. Amazingly talented and by far the funnest guy around. I’d recommend him to anyone but hopefully not too many people since I don’t want too much competition for booking times. 10/5 would come again.

It may be located in a shabby part of Victoria, but you won't be shabby upon leaving Sweeny Todd's. I took my son here to get his ears lowered while we were on vacation. They seem to have a more senior clientele, but nonetheless did a great job reining in his copious teen locks. It was especially fun listening to the barber pry small talk out of him
I have been going to Mike and Sean for my haircuts since about 2006. Their shop is always clean and inviting, and I have enjoyed many excellent haircuts and enjoyable conversations with both of them. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to Shampoo Hair Bar. I would like to start by saying the desk staff were so lovely and knowledgeable when I made my appointment. They asked me a bunch of questions to help select the right stylist for my needs which lead me to the lovely Mel. Mel asked a lot of questions and really made sure she had an understanding of what I wanted....and she gave me my DREAM HAIR (which was a dark brown to red wine balayge)! I can tell she is very thorough (a perfectionist in the best way). My colour is gorgeous, her scalp massage was dreamy and she is a total sweetheart. And she is the queen of blow-outs!! I am thrilled to highly recommend Stephanie and her staff at Rejuvenation! On top of usual pedicures, they have training to offer services like Onyfix and special senior foot care (35 for half hour to cut nails+remive callouses) that fills the void between aesthetics and medical foot care. My ingrown/pincer big toe is a challenge for me and Stephanie, with her Onyfix training, fixed that for a very reasonable cost! They also have special skills and material to make damaged toenails look beautiful. The salon is superclean and very beautiful with a relaxing atmosphere.

Really great experience! The office is clean and the staff are informative and knowledgeable. I had a skin tag that wouldn’t go away with my GP freezing it off multiple times(which hurt a lot), after it came back my GP said to cut it off with nail clippers. When I came to Age Less they assured me it would be painless and wouldn’t come back as they are properly getting rid of it. They offered numbing cream and told me what they were doing every step of the way! I’m really pleased with the results!! 10/10

I have been receiving treatments from Jessica for about 4 years now (everything from laser hair removal, IPL, Genesis and surgical scar treatments) and cannot say enough good things about her. All my results have been better than expected. Jessica is incredibly knowledgeable about all treatments she provides, gentle but effective in her approach and never judgmental or pushy. She is always building on her already vast knowledge and seeking out professional development by attending conferences, etc. I especially love the in home setting, and her designated studio is immaculate, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
I recently had a gentleman’s pedicure from Corina. Like many guys, I had never thought seriously about getting one before, as "pedicures were something women got.” However, my partner had such a positive experience with her own pedicure and really encouraged me to try one. So I did. And I’ve now come to realize there is nothing manly or heroic about jagged toenails and rough cracked skin on your heels that wear holes in your socks. Corina did a masterful job thinning and evening out my nails and smoothing off the rough skin on my heels and balls of my feet. It felt really good and, frankly, my feet haven’t looked this good since I was about five years old. Corina is also a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about foot problems and the importance of looking after them. It was a fun, enlightening experience, and I’ll be back.

Lovely experience. We had a bite to eat in the Q Lounge first overlooking the harbour and then we headed to the spa. The atmosphere in the spa is quiet, serene. Very pretty surroundings. All of the staff were professional and friendly. Highly recommend the massages and facials.
MY FEET. Lots of people comment on the more intimate services offered. But I have to tell you that Foot Fix is amazing. Doug is less expensive than the Podiatrist. Doug gives me a one hour treatment that leaves me walking on air and nails trimmed. Not to mention that we are going to defeat the dreaded toe fungus. Gentlemen, treat yourselves, start with your feet! Who knows where it may lead.
Its the little things that matter in business and I was competing in a golf tournament in the hottest place in BC during summer time and needed sun screen, they had a premium selection with non harmful chemicals. I couldn’t find thia place at first, because I didn’t realize it was inside her home , plus there was no sign. The owner made me feel so comfortable dispite me not scheduling an appointment, and especially with that being what she preferred. I wanted a full body wax and eyebrow with henna, she only had a little time so I couldn’t get it all done. I loved how she listened and did as I asked. Light and medium, I also took off the henna early. These are my before and after photos. I recommend this place. It has a very comfortable homey feel.
In September, my husband and I had appointments at Tech Noir to have our tattoos done at the same time. His tattoo was completed by Bobby and mine by Miles.
My husband and I both agree that our experiences at Tech Noir were exceptional and we plan to return in the future.
My tattoo consisted of a cover-up and Miles was able to incorporate most of my wants, within the confines of my existing tattoo. He explained that a cover up can be more painful than a fresh tattoo and thus, while tattooing me, he checked in with me frequently to see how I was holding up.
Overall, the atmosphere at Tech Noir is welcoming and upbeat. We both highly recommend this tattoo shop.

I got my third and largest tattoo here with David, and as someone who is quite introverted and anxious, I felt extremely comfortable in a very relaxing and accommodating environment.
I tend to ask alot of questions about processes and whatnot, and I often feel somewhat like a pest asking so many questions, but not once did I ever get the impression that any of the artists were frustrated or irritated with my questions and instead happily and eagerly answered my myriad of questions.
I would 1000% recommend coming here to get a tattoo to anyone, and especially folks like me who are a bit new to tattoos and a little bit introverted/awkward.

Walked in and asked for a small simple tree on the side of my wrist. The artist said he didn't recommend the size for as detailed as the tattoo was. I agreed to the bigger size but I wish we would have talked about a different placement since it was so much bigger than I originally wanted. It's still a cute tattoo but I learned my lesson.

The service was excellent from initial inquiry, to booking appointment, to installation as requested. Staff on the telephone were courteous and able to answer all my questions. The installer, Corey was on time, took care with our home, was fully prepared with tools and approach. He completed the job quickly and efficiently. He also took the time to answer our questions so we now have a better understanding of how to care for our hot water tank.
My technician, Cole, showed up on time. He was informative and pleasant to deal with. He let me know my options, made sure I understood the scope of work and exactly what to expect.
Can't say enough good things about this company. They came and helped us when another plumbing company did a really bad job of our sewage pipes. Victoria Drains were professional, knowledgeable and fixed the pipes once and for all, with as little digging as possible (there was still some, but a cipp liner enabled them to solve the problem without removing our porch stone.) Shawn was amazing as the lead for the work and Christine in the office kept us updated as we waited for permits and other city paperwork. Highly recommend!
Plumbing issues always seem to happen at the worst times of life. This is just the loveliest local company with kind human beings on the end of the phone who understand this and who are responsive to the needs of their clients. Lori in the office treated me with kindness and compassion. Tyrell took the initiative to extend his day and stop by on his way home the same day to get me out of trouble. I am just a home owner (not a big company) but it was clear they cared about me and I was so grateful. The problem (a completely blocked sink with unmentionable stuff in it) was sorted in a matter of moments and there was no mess and no guilt (about what I had tried to do to fix it myself). Unlike some of the big companies in town, The Right Man will only charge you for what they do and they don't have a huge up front minimal call out charge (unlike others who want to charge your credit card up front even before they come). They are fair and honest and have integrity. Calling this company will make your day better.
One of the most reliable companies we have worked with. They were able to get my parents radiant floor heating system up and running again. They showed up when they said they would and I felt they were honest and really easy to work with. The owner is very experienced and his journeyman, Ethan was very polite and courteous. The property we moved into last year had a gas fire with a pilot light that wouldn't ignite. I asked someone from a heating company to service the fire and fix the pilot light. He serviced the fire but didn't fix the pilot light. He said because of the age of the fire he probably wouldn't be able to get the parts. I then rang a Valor Dealer in Victoria who recommended Life Mechanical Plumbing and Water Heaters. Within a few days Jim from this company came and fixed the pilot light straight away and at a very reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend this company.

All Victoria Vacuum is THE BEST place to take your vacuum!!! My Miele (circa 2007ish) stopped working last week and they were able to assess what it needed (a new cord) and get my vacuum back to me the same day I authorized the repairs, for a very reasonable cost (under $100!). So grateful to have a trustworthy group of folks to help keep my vacuum going! 10/10 would recommend to others!

I can't say enough good things about KCC Restoration. We had a fire and massive flooding at my condo building (including my unit). From the beginning Chandler was exceptional at managing the project. He and his team arrived within an hour and went to work on the initial critical response. This included all hallways, many units, etc. When it came to leading the demolition phase, Joe was an absolute gem. His calm demeanour made a real difference when dozens of people were displaced and going through the trauma of it all. Both he and Chandler liaised with residents and you could tell that they genuinely had peoples' best interests at heart. For the rebuild phase of the project, Lamoyne led an excellent team of dedicated tradespeople. He and Chandler were available to navigate the process with care. While the project is not yet complete, what I appreciate most about the last 11 months is that you can tell that this is a company that actually cares. They care about their people and their people care about their clients. Compared to another well-known restoration company that worked on a previous fire in our building, these guys have been fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend KCC Restoration.
From the very start of the process (calling ServiceMaster Vic) to the absolutely perfect completion, the company went well above any expectations I could ever imagine. My suite had been entered by some mice. They removed all evidence and sanitized, then proceeded to help me clear out clutter and removed it as well. Going above and beyond (even cleaning and clearing my deck), cleaning every cupboard, cleaning floors, washing windows and everything around, either large or small. It was a massive day and a half job, all done with the most pleasant and fun staff one could hope for. They settled my nerves completely. On the second day, all carpets thoroughly cleaned (after a full vacuum) and final freshening and sparkling touch ups done. To Kelly, Peter, Debbie, Mary and Quinn you have done so much to alleviate the angst, and all with the greatest personalities. Thank you so very much. I had purchased Hunter Douglas blinds 9 years ago from Ruffel &Brown. One very large blind had a lot of insect debris to the point that I had a salesperson come out to quote on a replacement, which was very expensive. I also asked them for a referral for a blind cleaner and they had several, but said Jeff was the best. I decided to hold off on the replacement until Jeff came. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly, and does what he says he is going to do! He was delayed in returning the blinds because they weren’t dry enough to his standards, but kept me updated during the day. They look fantastic! Very happy with the assistance in picking out flooring that would be compatible with our kitchen cabinet and door colours. 7 boxes left over which is a lot for us to deal with having no storage in our condo. Called to have our house sprayed for spiders before the winter season. They had different options, explained each one and answered all the questions I had. An arborist (not from Garden City) recommended that I tear out my front lawn at the drip line of my huge oak tree and put down their fresh wood chip mulch--without mentioning that they didn't HAVE any wood chip mulch, fresh or otherwise, might not have any for the forseeable future, and would just as soon string me along with my now-bare-dirt front yard while I didn't pester them for it. After a couple of months of this, Garden City Tree and Landscape came to the rescue! Once I phoned them, not only did they have product in stock, they delivered 4 yards (half a dump truck) of composted woodchip mulch the following day. What a relief! (Only a handful of litter & rocks.)
They weren't obliged to, but they happily carved me a path to my car last night through a frozen pile of snow. These guys show great teamwork and integrity in clearing our lot. Thank you ♥️♥️

Dr.Chow is a BRILLIANT Dentist. His knowledge, intellect and skill is unparalleled. He is truly "one of a kind". Had an extraction today, no pain then or post surgery. I had PRF (Platelet Rich Fibran and a bone graft) and I highly recommend it if you're having an extraction. Helps the bone regrow, aids in healing, reduces pain and bleeding. Dr.Chow is truly a Biological and Holistic Dentist...best in Victoria! Thank you Dr.Chow for the best care ever. Big thanks to his awesome assistant Nelly and as well his wonderful, caring staff. ❤️
Had to have my mouth cleared of all traces of teeth for full dentures and Dr Huang was very good at it. Fast and efficient and care. No pain to speak of and now I am ready for my dentures. Kudos!
I just finished my Invisalign treatments with Dr. Chris at Smile Esthetics and I couldn't recommend it enough! I felt more taken care of there than I have at any similar office, beyond compare. I am soooo happy with my results and honestly a little sad my treatment is complete and have no reason to go back. Though, there is a dentist side to the office where I also became a patient. Again, very happy with the service provided. Super knowledgeable staff all around. Dr. Chris is clearly a perfectionist (as am I) and I felt heard and informed every step of the process. Totally totally recommend!!! I cant stop smiling :D and the compliments I get!!!!

Dr. Parsons and his staff were great. Got me in for an emergency adjustment yesterday within an hour of calling the clinic. I’m very happy with my experience here. My dog had an infected wound from speargrass under his skin and everything from getting him in quickly as a new patient to the careful approach taken and eventual positive result was all excellent. Fair prices, low pressure, and good bedside manner too.

Lesley always does a fantastic job with my Misiu's groom! Switched to Fernwood Grooming after having a few too many close calls with other groomers cutting my pomeranian's hair too short. Haven't looked back since and I'm always really happy with the work they've done.
He's a nervous guy, too, but I can tell when I pick him up that he's calmed down quite a bit. It helps that she gives him treats and he gets to spend time with her dogs, too. :)

Garbo (and now Aero too) has been going to top dog for over 5 years and they are consistently excellent. The dog area is spotlessly clean (doesn’t smell like dogs or pee), the dogs get walked regularly and all of the staff are always kind and attentive. I also get rave reviews for her grooms with people stopping us on the street to comment on her fresh looks. Daycare or grooming, Top Dog is best in show!
My puppy has been coming here since 4 months old and has always looked, smelled, and felt amazing! So soft. He’s always so happy to come here and the service from the friendly staff is top notch. The shop is beautiful! We will drive from Langford to take our dog here and highly recommend them.
Went to get our dog's nails trimmed and paw pads shaved. Did it as a walk-in. They start at 10am Mon-Fri. Great customer service. Know how to handle the dog. While we were in there, we got the dog a new rain coat.

Highly recommend a facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatment with Tamara. It was a facial (cleanse, scrub, moisturize) with aromatherapy and hot towels. Following that, i chose to have acupressure (no needles) on my face, hands and feet. Tamara, who is also an RMT, is wonderful at what she does. The treatment was covered by extended health insurance. I left feeling so relaxed and pampered!
Yesterday I had a massage with Chloe Roy, and not only is she very kind and knowledgeable, but she also tried great relieving techniques, that helped me immensely, with scarring and tightness after my mastectomy, 5 years ago, that affects my arms, back and shoulders.

I saw Jasmine today. She was amazing. Found and substantially improved a problem I didn't think was soft tissue related. She's got amazing hand skills as well.Update: Was in great pain and booked with Jasmine again. She called in sick but Alana offered to cover. Just as amazing as Jasmine and even went over time a little bit to make sure the job was done. 6 stars!The two of them are fairly similar in their hand skills. If you like one, you'll like the other.
I went for my initial physio appointment today with Dana. You can tell he enjoys what he does and is well trained in a number of methods to treat his clients. By the end of this session there were significant improvements that were measurable. Dana also gave me some great advice on approaching future workouts. So far I would highly recommend him.

I saw her last at 39 weeks pregnant and my water broke the next morning :) The clinic is beautiful and Stephanie is highly knowledgeable and extremely warm and caring. I had about a week till my road test and i thought i was going to do everything well, but to be cautious i tried booking a test with Zula and thankfully they made some time for me and corrected me on so many mistakes i thought i did not have i 100% recommend if you are about to have your road test it saved me:)

My instructor was Alex. After 2 weeks of driving, I managed to pass my class 7 driving test. I’ve had a lot of driving instructors before and I can tell you that none have helped me as much as Alex.There are a few negative reviews here about him and I think that’s because he’s not for everybody. He’s teaching style is a bit different but I think that is why it worked so well for me. He helped teach me how to really drive and not just simply pass the test like a lot of instructors do. He provides constructive criticism and is very honest. Also helped me relax while driving too.The price is a bit expensive, but i do think it was worth it. I only did 6 lessons + the road test package, and passed just fine. I’m a lot more comfortable and confident driving now too. I definitely recommend Victoria driving school. Thanks Alex!
