Clean, open, and friendly staff. I was new in the stamford area and found this place while driving. My first visit here was due to the special sign they have outside (mani n pedi for $25 on Mondays & tuesdays), and after seeing their clean work, I became a constant customer. I really like that they clean up the cuticles and give a feminine and delicate look to the nails and hands overall. Also... The girls here are very nice and respectful. I enjoy my times here and would definitely recommend them. They have hair services as well, haircuts, hair coloring, etc.

I especially love working with Adriana. She truly understands my hair which is fine but very frizzy. She's the kind of hair dresser who is not just professional but also your good friend you get to catch up with every 6-8 weeks.
I've recently had the QiQi treatment (similar to Keratin) and if you have frizzy hair, this a must. She also gives me incredibly cuts, trims, and is an outstanding colorist.
The prices are incredibly reasonable and the results are in my opinion much better than at much higher priced salons I've been to before.
One of the reasons why I think this is literally Stamford's best salon is because the atmosphere is so friendly and not pretentious.

My daughter went to another salon to color and cut her hair but they did an awful job she left that salon crying. I came to LM salon so they can fix her hair. Andrea fixed her hair color and her haircut. She was extremely happy. I had my hair colored, cut, and I told my stylist Andrea to bring out my natural curls. Other hair salons never knew how to handle my curls but Andrea did a fantastic job. I never seen my curls look so vibrant and bouncy. My son got his hair washed and cut. He was happy as well. Seriously talented barbers. You cannot go wrong with any of the talented individuals here. Aside from giving AMAZING cuts, I had a health issue the other day at the barbershop due to dehydration. Scary moment for me, I blacked out in the chair. The men of the barbershop rushed to get me water, set a chair outside for me, had me sit while they supervised to make sure I was OK to drive, and finally called me to make sure I got home safely! As someone who has only tanned sporadically for years, I can confirm that I have had absolutely no issues canceling or restarting my monthly subscription for a few months, every year or two. They follow the corporate rules regarding pricing, and the prices are very straightforward. If you walk in, the prices for a single session are indeed very high, but a single session in a tanning bed doesn't do much, and I think this is likely to help steer people towards the much more cost effective monthly subscription. I would also like to report that I there has never been any push for me to upgrade to the more premium subscriptions, nor any pushy sales tactics regarding the products they sell. Everything has been easy. If this ever changes, I'll change my review, but I doubt that will be the case, unless the business changes drastically. Definitely recommended if you're looking to build your tan.

Amy does a beautiful job and I won't see anyone else now. My gel nails last 3-4 weeks and the pedicures are great too. We were really pleased with our experience here. We made a reservation and were taken immediately. The pedicure area can seat up to 6 people, and it's quiet and clean. The esthetitians were very friendly and all gave great massages and were highly skilled with the pedicures. The $65 lavender and green tea options included a hot stone massage, which was a great surprise. We will definitely be returning.

I haven't done my nails in years so I called short notice to make an appointment and it took me right away. It was nice and empty places nice and quiet. Ambience is great. Chose my color blue chair massage she did my nails very well, but the only thing I didn't like I asked her to do a design on the big toe she said yes, but she didn't do it. She sits me down to get my nails dry, but didn't turn on the fan, so I turned on the fan on myself, realizing it wasn't on. Not sure was was the lady name but I guess she had alot on her mind. But over wasn't the worst service

I have been to 3 -4 other hair dressers to get my hair straightened and all I got ever got was straight with frizziness. Kathleen takers her time and by the time I leave I have silky straight hair. She puts her heart into it and it shows. I highly recommend her.

I've been going to Eve & Adam salon for monthly facials for about 6 months now. Hands down the best facial I've ever had - and I've had many across Fairfield County and NYC. The staff is so kind, welcoming, and the estheticians are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. They use Biologique products (truly top of the line) and yet still somehow manage to stay very affordable. Can't think of a single negative thing to say, I just love this place so much.

The spa was clean and love love love the robe and perfect sized slides waiting in your locker. Relaxation room is dimly lit and u can help yourself to a heated wrap for your neck and some lovely refreshments. Only suggestion is reclining chairs or ottomans. My masseuse Andre was FANTASTIC!!!! Highly recommend. I believe this was one of the best massages I have ever had They also have a membership so u can go more often

*UPDATE SEPT, 2024 - Had some concerns with my cast iron waste pipe so I made an appointment over the phone. Steve arrived on time and advised that the issue was not serious but suggested considering replacing 80+ year old cast iron and provided an estimate. While he was there, I asked him to replace the valves for my washing machine, which he did.
*UPDATE* I had some water near my heating system in the basement on the night of Dec 23. I quickly went online and booked an appointment for the next morning, Christmas Eve which was confirmed after midnight via text. Joseph Kmetz showed up promptly at 902 AM, diagnosed the problem (a minor one, fortunately) and fixed it in 45 minutes. He explained clearly what was wrong and advised me on next steps, it was a HUGE relief with guests arriving for Christmas later in the day.

They came to my house twice, once for a slow drain issue and once for a sewer clog issue. Both times they were quick in responding and resolved my issues beyond my satisfaction. They were courteous, honest what the work would entail, and direct. I am now considering them to be my only go to plumbers when I have an issue. Steve and his crew are wonderful. Bob installed the sump pump system in our house - at the request of the previous owners. We noticed water seeping up through the floorboards and assumed it was the sump pump malfunctioning. Bob came by in response to our text in one hour on a Saturday. He checked the pump and explained it was working fine and walked us through why. He then said that he had recommended to the previous owner that they install a perimeter system to work in conjunction with the sump pump but they declined. He explained the water seeping through the foundation was because there was no perimeter wall/adequate draining. He then walked us around the entire house pointing out ways we can improve our water proofing (eg where gutters were not working, landscaping fixes). Would recommend him unreservedly- he’s a pro and a gentleman as well.
Adrian did a fantastic job. We have a 100+ year old old house with old cast iron plumbing. Our toilet was overflowing and causing backup in the shower - Yikes! We called on Saturday afternoon and they were able to come out immediately at 9am Sunday. Adrian was thorough and cleared out not only the clog, but got as much scale buildup out of the pipes as he could. He cleaned the tub as well (did not expect that). Above and beyond service. Friendly, professional, skilled and quick response time. I highly recommend this business (owners are Jimmy & Henry).
I ended up hiring company after I shopped around for my Boiler, burner and Indirect hot water tank replacement need. I extensively researched prices and companies in my area. Lou the owner returned my call on a weekend in case there was any emergency. After he only asked to send him photos and videos. And instantly gave me quote for two scenarios (Which btw he honored all the way). This was stark difference from other companies who had to set an appointment to come measure my house with expensive equipment or software (Which size and BTU output I needed I already knew). And tried to upsell me something I didn't really ask for. Schede beat others on price which was most important to me in addition to reviews. After I picked them company clearly communicated when Job will start and were very punctual. David and Guy (I didn't catch name) where very punctual - cleaned after, daily. Clark and Enfi (I hope I spelled the name right) joined them the next day. Also very punctual and professional - all worked with minimally disturbing my day, as I had to work from home. And Job taking one extra day, they did it, leaving everything clean. Explained me and gave advice on maintenance and tune up. I'm not a professional in this area but what they installed looks good after years of watching my rusty boiler and Tank started leaking ;-). Pretty much rebuild everything with new pipes and motor pumps. I hands down will recommend company without any hesitation. Definitely shop around. But have no doubts Schede will do the Job as well if not better than others with great quality to price ratio.
Shout out to Mark for being the MVP. Boy did we have a debacle transpire just a day before with a different company. Thank goodness for my family, our experience with Murace was the complete opposite. Long story short, we contacted Murace on a Sunday for an emergency service call. Our refrigerator was holding my family hostage with a terrible smell coming from a bolted down spill tray under the unit. We knew what needed to be done but didn't have the equipment to make it happen. Mark came over and fixed everything in about 15 minutes. He was also able to quickly repair a mysterious leak that sprung up behind our refrigerator before we contacted him as well. Quick and efficient! Sentry Electric always do professional electrical work around our house. In the past they have done everything from exterior lighting installations to our audio visual capabilities to all of the electrical wiring during our kitchen remodeling project a couple of years ago. We recently had a small electrical mishap in our home that my husband made even worse and finally I called Sentry before my husband could cause total electrical failure (not to mention the likely possibility that he would electrocute himself). Sentry answered the phone right away and was at our home within 20 minutes. They are always very friendly and patient and their electrical service is consistently done right the first time. Plus they always clean up afterwards too. This time was no different. Their electrical inspection identified the problem and thankfully they fixed it asap. The cost as usual was very reasonable; in this case for 2 hours of work. We definitely recommend these expert electrical contractors!

Scott is the most honest and responsive person in the business. Tri Tech installed our HVAC system 3 years ago and stand behind there work. I had an issue with my Nest thermostats (software update) and Scott made it a point to come out with one of his technicians to be sure the system wasn't the problem. Even though Tri Tech did not install the thermostats they stayed after we rebooted the thermostats to be sure all was working well. I highly recommend Ti Tech. Scott is awesome and Kim Johnson always follows up. Good service is hard to find. Tri Tech Mechanical is one of the best.
Both my fiancé and I were beyond satisfied about Bill and his services. We had a fridge that stopped working properly--the freezer and the fridge stopped pumping cold air completely out of nowhere. On Wednesday after hours, I called and left a voicemail to two places, and the next morning (Thursday), only Bill called back and left a voicemail. On that same day (Thursday), Bill came exactly at when he said he would, between 2 pm and 4 pm. In fact, he arrived at 2 pm and buzzed our condo unit to be let in as per our instructions. Since we only had one fridge, we were so grateful for his prompt responses and visits on both Thursday and Friday. During his first visit, he took a look at our fridge and ordered some parts of the same brand, and then he came back the following day (Friday) for his second visit and fixed our fridge completely. When Bill wasn't sure if the part would arrive on the following day (Friday), he promised that he would come on Saturday. My fiancé offered to pay Bill more for his Saturday visit if necessary, but he politely declined and explained that we only had one fridge rather than two or three, so he said it was unnecessary for us to pay additional charges. Very few people in this world were as honest and professional as he was these days, and we were so lucky to have him as our fridge repair man.

I worked with James and team from Juliana’s Clean Out and Cleaning Services to empty a home that was lived in for over 65 years and was now being sold. We worked together twice; once to purge and prepare for the listing and again after the house was sold and before the closing to discard any items that were left. Both times, James (the owner) and team were just incredible. James was extremely caring and communicative and struck a nice balance of working extremely efficiently while also being patient and flexible as he carefully navigated an emotional situation. Purging “stuff” tied to memories that were collected over many years was not an easy thing to do but James truly understood that and guided us the whole way. I had Brian help me out twice for a couple of projects. Shortly after purchasing my first home I discovered a deteriorating foundation that was covered up by the previous owner. Brian's experience and knowledge helped me find a temporary solution to reinforce the foundation temporarily, enough for me to feel comfortable brining my family into the house for 3 years until I could find a permanent solution. I recently used him again to help me demolish the same home. He was a big help throughout the entire process. From getting the permit to final approval, everything went smoothly without issues. He was friendly, professional and showed up at our house the following day to do an overview of our drive way and walk ways to give us an estimate. His cost was very reasonable. We only had a few snow falls last winter but his guys were great! They did a fantastic job and we'd recommend him to anyone.

I would like to give my full-throated recommendation for the doctors at Stein Dental. Having had dental challenges for decades I was finally faced with getting a permanent bridge implant. The process is expensive and takes several months from start to finish. I started with Dr. Allaeb, the oral surgeon. Honestly, he was very through in explaining the process and completing the work. After that initial procedure I received a temporary bridge that I was not happy with - the lab they were using for the prosthetics did not do a very good job. I was concerned and decided to get a second and third opinion. Both doctors I visited complemented Dr. Allaeb's work. One of the practice's offered to finish the job with the permanent bridge at more than twice the price I was quoted from Dr. Stein's office. As luck would have it, Stein's JoAnne Arnold reached out to let me know they had secured a new prosthetics lab that used 3-D scanning, and they would honor their quote to complete the project. I was skeptical but decided to give them another try - primarily due to JoAnne's kindness. I met with Dr. Daniels who brought in Felipe from the new lab and walked through the process. Let me tell you - the process and the final result was well worth it. The 3-D scanning was incredible, and the bridge fit perfectly, not one adjustment was needed. I was so surprised since the bridge had to line up perfectly with the implants. It did. The bridge looks great and feels great - like my own teeth, but much better! We were done in three weeks. The price was right but, more importantly, the final result is great. I am glad I went back to Dr. Stein's and recommend them to anyone wanting professional work, performed by a talented and caring team. My thanks to Dr. Daniels, Dr. Allaeb, Felipe and especially JoAnne for a job well done.

Dr Bender is the best! Really improved my back and neck. I have had Atlas Orthogonal therapy in the past and it really works. I was so happy to find a talented chiropractor in the area who offers it, in addition to gentle spinal adjustments. Dr Bender is also working on a therapy for my knee, and that shows improvement too. I am impressed with his skill and the general professionalism of the office as a whole.

Both Dr. Peyser and Dr. Tatarenko are great. I found the practice through a benefit service my employer offers called HealthJoy, and they knocked it out of the park with their recconmondation. OMG!!! What a miracle treatment this has been. I was born with a neurological disorder and I have trouble breathing and my nerves are very sensitive to stress which causes subluxations and tension which leads to severe back pain. Pain can cause you to be in a really bad mood. As a person, I’ve always tried to do what makes me happy and as a social worker I always try to focus on the positive things in every situation. After trying acupuncture, OT, PT, and other modalities, I was in such pain in March 2023, I figured why not try chiropractic, I was a healthcare worker and one day Sovita came to my job, set up shop, gave chair massages and then set me up for a consultation. I was skeptical and anxious at first walking into the office, but immediately I was put at ease by the staff. Maggie and later Fifi were great about welcoming me each and every time I came. It is quite a commitment and the staff become a second family to u in no time. They are very personable, professional but yet put you at ease. After the first month or so I started to notice my breathing became noticeably better. I was used to choking on food daily and aspirating. It slowely went from daily to weekly. That in itself was quite a miracle. I am able to practice deep breathing, which really helps my anxiety and depression. Months and many adjustments later, my back is straighter, my balance is improved, I am able to move my neck from 90 to 90, which helps when I drive . I fall and get hurt less often and the biggest difference is that I can stand for about 30-45 min at a time and do the dishes. I am so thankful for the doctors an staff at Sovita, having SCA is no joke and since there is no cure, this is certainly a tremendous treatment, which has proven to keep me independent, healthy,and keep my pain that I experience daily manageable and that to me is life changing! Thank you Sovita for being a life in my life when I really needed it. I highly recommend these doctors, they are wonderful and truly life changing
The wait for a table was lengthy, would suggest making a reservation. The food was excellent, although the wine list, a bit lacking. I recommend vodka instead!
The staff are delightful. The young Nicole is absolutely gorgeous & the old guy, Rubin, may appear to be completely & utterly befuddled, to not even have a clue what planet he is on but please, rest assured, that is only because he is & he doesn't!

I came to Spot On in one of the worst circumstances possible. My increasingly lethargic Tibetan Terrier collapsed at a road stop while we were on a trip from Pittsburgh to Maine. A one of a kind! I have never seen groomers as dedicated as Daniel and Gabby at Magic Groomer! Our two dogs with thick and occasionally unruly coats transform come out with super soft coats and beautiful haircuts! They look like clouds leaving the salon. All of the staff are patient and gentle and really take the time to make it a pleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional grooming service!

Kimberly is a true professional with so much knowledge about pregnancy and postpartum/baby care. She is always willing to brainstorm and help out her moms. When I felt alone in pregnancy and postpartum, these classes and community got me through it. I’ve made new best friends, with babies all the same age. i spontaneously made an appointment with no prior recommendation. as this massage spa is close to my residence i thought i would give it a try. to my surprise they exceeded my initial expectations. they are kind professional and sweet. the room is clean and cozy and warm and they are the ultimate professionals. my therapist was sophia and she asked if i liked medium or more intensity. she incorporated a bit of stretch and was very body aware. she also used a hot towel to remove the oils so i didn’t have to slip back into my clothes with oily skin. and wow! they are super affordable for the hour massage and so as i am hyper aware of the area we live in….. OVER TIP because it is still the best experience and deal around!
Felt it was important to offset the 1-star review due to how ridiculous it is. This is a spa for humans and not animals. Unless it's a seeing eye dog, it doesn't need to be in a spa. So they're wearing pajamas to be more comfortable. What's the big deal and how would that impact a manicure, pedicure, etc.? Try not to be so dramatic when reviewing something.

Richard is amazing! I've often dealt with a lot of pain and pulled muscles when I ramp up my running. Richard was able to assess and address my issues immediately. I am experiencing fewer and fewer issues as I weight train, run, and do yoga now thanks to his sessions and thoughtful tips. The downtown area is so lucky he's around!

We were so pleased with Driver Education Center out of Stratford. Shaun does a great job teaching the rules of the road & preparing kids for the driving exam.my son passed first time with no issues. The course was easy for my teenager to manage on his own & the driving was so flexible with Shaun providing the vehicle & pick up & drop off. This was my last of 3 kids learning to drive & Shaun’s program by far made it the easiest
I had lessons with Jonathan Bufithis and Nicole Holley. They are both very good. Jonathan is direct and tough and gives very effective advice. Nicole is nice and encouraging and careful about safe driving.
