A painter suggested that there is a minor issue on my roof - Michael came, explained that it was cosmetic and would not cause a leak - and - he fixed the cosmetic issue the very next day! I needed to totally remodel a 1970 small master bath. Found the website for Inspired Builders (IB) and used it to request a quote rather than calling. Vitaly got back to me within 24 hours. Did the same with two other contractors and nobody reached out to me, even after a month. IB was willing to start when I was available. They indicated the time it would take and I got a good vibe so I did not get any other quotes. I really liked that they also had a designer who help me plan and pick out tile, granite, etc. since this is the first remodel I have ever done. Nicole provided images as to what the room would look like with the tile, granite, etc. we had selected. She also provided links to suggested small items like towel racks, etc. Communications were great and because I worked from home while the work was going on so decisions (paint color, door style, etc.) and issues were resolved quickly, resulting in the project being completed in the time that Vitaly said it would take, even though we had two change orders. The main person that worked on the drywall, granite, tile, etc. was Moises. He was excellent and I appreciated his eye for detail because I can be picky. I was able to check out the work every day and could not catch any mistakes he had made. Overall, a great experience resulting in a very clean and elegant bathroom.

I have tried multiple salons in the past couple of years, trying to find the right one for me but have never encountered a stylist patient and caring enough to work with my hair. I came here on a Saturday with a friend who found this place, and I am so glad I got a straightening perm at this salon. A big thank you to Seven and all the staff who helped me achieve the hair that I've always wanted!! I've always had A LOT of hair; it was tough to manage and style. This was my first time getting a perm so I didn't know what to expect. After a long 4 hours, the results were beyond my expectations. My hair now feels so soft and straight (compared to the course and semi-wavy hair I had). Seven also helped fix the really bad haircut I had a month ago. Can't wait to grow out my hair and come back for trims, knowing I am in good hands :)

You just tell him what kind of hair styles and how you like it cut and he does it. He seem like a perfectionist when it comes to cutting hair. The shop is clean and located in a nice area near Santana Row. The other barbers cuts look pretty clean too.

I had a 90s mushroom hair cut looking for a short crew cut. I actually got something better. It was more of a short comb over, which is classic. It looked very professional for my line of work. Very 1950's classic with a razor finish and gel styling. If you're looking for efficient, affordable and simple haircuts it's the place to go. Support you're local barber!

I find iBarber to be a local gem to Santa Clara, with never too bad of a wait time and incredibly fair prices for different haircut services. I only tend to get the high fade, but from what I tell they can perform a variety of cuts, and the owner, Vincent, is such a great guy. Parking can be tough at times, as there is usually only back parking so make sure to not leave any valuables in car when coming to shop as it could be easily accessible to walkers passing through.

Been getting hair cuts here for years now. Highly recommend if you need a consistent hair cut at reasonable price. The three ladies here are all very nice. All three cut hair differently. You'll have to figure out who cuts the way you like it and stick to them. They understand English but they have limited speaking. I don't mind it because it reminds me of my moms struggles.
This is my go to spot for a relaxing pedicure! They have a small parking lot so parking is never a headache. I always make an appointment and it always starts on time which I really appreciate. The salon is always so clean, and doesn't smell heavily of chemicals making the experience all the more relaxing. My gel pedicures always last forever here and they do a meticulous job at keeping my nails well done. Would recommend!

Did a quick walk in appointment and Hannah was able to help me out right away! I wanted to do a French tip with Gel on my natural nails, which are fairly short. Hannah did a great job of working with my nails and I feel like she painted the perfect thickness especially since my nails were on the shorter side! I had my lips done by Yvon and I am completely in love with them! My natural lips had hyperpigmentation and half of it was brown. Called ahead to ask if there was any availability for a dip/SNS removal, and she said I could come in right now but she was busy later that day. I went in and was convinced to get a manicure instead of just the removal, which would’ve been $20. The manicure was probably one of the most attentive to detail I’ve ever had. My nails feel clean and healthy, and the owner was very friendly and talkative. She gave me recommendations nearby and was great to talk to. I would recommend coming in on a day where you have time to spare because the attention to detail does not make a rushed service!

David replaced my water heater today because there was a water leak. He was a very honest person. He gave me a price right away. This is a small business but quite frankly I like getting help from people who are the business owners themselves. He is very easy to deal with. You get a schedule right away. He was on time with his assistant. He have me updates about the unit he ordered, when it will come, and when he is ready to come out and do the work. Kudos David and your assistant!!!

My 16 year old water heater died during Labor Day weekend. No hot water for 3 days. Left message with Lowes, and Home Depot - no return messages or calls. On Tuesday, after Labor Day, called the Home Depot again, and someone came out, but too much differences between the estimate over the phone, and the quote. (Not to mention that they didn't get a chance to check the photos sent via email). Then, through wife friend's recommendation, talked to Smart Plumbers & Rooters. Federico showed up at 3 pm as promised. Quoted reasonable price with clear explanation as to what and why. We approved the work, and he started on replacement of the heaters asap. It was a very hot day. The plumber worked non-stop until he was complete, replacing and bringing the water heater and the attached pipes up to city code. He completed the job a bit earlier than estimated time. This is what is expected from a good business.
The plumber being friendly, and cleaning the area was beyond my expectations. He provided the right information, clear information on permits, and when the inspector might show up, and asked to call them back if inspector is not happy with his work.
We now have a working heater, and my children who had to take cold shower for last three days are happy. Thanks, Federico and Smart Plumbers. I will call you again for any plumbing works in the future for sure.

Fantastic experience every time EJ plumbing visits. Today, Christian installed a multi-stage under sink filter system. When I noticed the original installer (from another company) set the filter faucet askew, Christian took the extra time to uninstall everything and re-center the spigot. He also helped me adjust the gas connector hose to our kitchen range/oven so it would no longer be in the way of fitting flush with our counters. (Keeping the required air gap in back of course.) I’ve been bothered about that oven sticking out too far for years. Great Service! ?

We were having trouble finding some Kohler products at the big box stores, they were either short on stock or boxes had been open and in disarray. We were happy to find this Kohler showroom where you can discuss the various items you need. They have many products, and a nice atmosphere. Theresa and Joanna are terrific, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products. Every item I ordered came quickly and in great condition. I also want to give a big shout out to Brandon who delivered our new bathtub, he was just terrific, with a can do attitude. The tub weighs 350 lbs. and he was creative in how he managed to unload it, and helped our contractor carry it into the house. Great positive energy. I highly recommend this company.

We just completed an install of 650 sq ft of beautiful maple LVP flooring, which came out fantastic! From start to finish, we were very pleased with the whole experience. Jack helped to answer our questions in the showroom and oversaw a very timely installation. He personally made several trips to our home in Union City and worked diligently to ensure that all of our concerns were addressed. The price was fair. Overall, a surprisingly good experience and highly recommend.

We had Western Hardwood replace the carpets in three bedrooms with hardwood, and refinish the hardwood in the rest of the house. In addition, they installed a challenging hardwood staircase. This work required us to clear the entire house. The workers were very accommodating and professional. The floors look great, even better than we expected. After installing the hardwood, they replaced all the baseboards, caulked and cleaned up. Nhu Nguyen, Friday Dinh, and the entire work crew demonstrated high skill and professional performance. Highly recommended, great job for a good price!

I needed to totally remodel a 1970 small master bath. Found the website for Inspired Builders (IB) and used it to request a quote rather than calling. Vitaly got back to me within 24 hours. Did the same with two other contractors and nobody reached out to me, even after a month. IB was willing to start when I was available. They indicated the time it would take and I got a good vibe so I did not get any other quotes. I really liked that they also had a designer who help me plan and pick out tile, granite, etc. since this is the first remodel I have ever done. Nicole provided images as to what the room would look like with the tile, granite, etc. we had selected. She also provided links to suggested small items like towel racks, etc. Communications were great and because I worked from home while the work was going on so decisions (paint color, door style, etc.) and issues were resolved quickly, resulting in the project being completed in the time that Vitaly said it would take, even though we had two change orders. The main person that worked on the drywall, granite, tile, etc. was Moises. He was excellent and I appreciated his eye for detail because I can be picky. I was able to check out the work every day and could not catch any mistakes he had made. Overall, a great experience resulting in a very clean and elegant bathroom.

We recently built an ADU with Valley Home Builders and would definitely work with them again. From the beginning, the operation manager Yazan had always been transparent about pricing, respected our budget and kept us on track. The architect Natalie was so nice to work with; she considered our needs and got us through the permitting process with no comments regarding the architectural design. The project manager Alex was also amazing. The whole Valley team: their building works were beautiful! Like any big construction project, there’re some small hiccups along the way but Valley always tried their best to resolve and meet our expectations. All in all, we’re very happy!

Eliad, Aviad and Miguel were fantastic to work with throughout our huge six-week construction and renovation project. Not only did we want our shingle roof to be replaced and two chimneys removed, but we also asked for a new deck and engineered hardwood floors upstairs. Once the project had started additional items were added: Redoing the upstairs closet walls and installing a new range hood in the kitchen.
Communication was exceptional: Eliad and Aviad created a WhatsApp group for my wife and I to track the project’s progress. Everyday I would review the work and send notes. They were always responsive, friendly and usually replied in a few hours.
As with any major construction project there were a few setbacks and unpleasant discoveries. However Eliad and Aviad held our hands and walked us through the available options. We always felt looked after.
Early on we had asked them to check some walls for mold. Sure enough they found traces, and after further investigation by a mold remediation team, the problem turned out worse than we ever imagined: The mold had eaten through the waterproof paper and penetrated the stucco itself! We had to demo an entire side of our house down to the studs, inside and out. I was relieved though that they took utmost care to protect our brand new windows when demoing the old stucco around them.
A silver lining was that the exterior wall was rebuilt to modern code standards, with plywood sheeting and insulation. The stucco workmanship was excellent too - several of our neighbours have remarked how great it looks. Likewise for the Sheetrock and plaster work inside.
Miguel was an absolute star and deserves special mention. He led the team on the ground and made sure everything was executed to the highest standard. He has a great eye for detail and a desire to do the job well. He even came in on several weekends to renovate the upstairs closets and ensure the flooring was completed on time. He also did a few small items of electrical work including installing a new range hood at no extra expense. Fantastic guy.
The project took just over six weeks, a few weeks over the original estimate because of the mold remediation and exterior wall reconstruction. It was completed in time for my family’s return from abroad, which is all that really mattered.
As with any project this size there were few hiccups along the way, but Eliad and Aviad were receptive to feedback and quick to make things right at no additional expense. This really is the best one can hope for given the challenging and unpredictable nature of construction. Integrity is everything.
My wife and I are delighted with all their hard work, and our home really has been transformed for the better. It’s now a very different house to the one we moved into several years ago. A fantastic result!

I have played Hockey for 30 years and dealt with all kinds of broken bones and other sports-related injuries. Dr. Dekeyrel did not just adjust my neck/back. He helped find the root of the problem and, through a bit of hard work, helped elevate pain and discomfort and got me back on the rink. I can't thank him enough.
After two long years of dealing with combo plantar fasciitis and a mysteriously painful adductor, I was feeling out of options. I had tried everything my podiatrist suggested besides surgery and nothing had worked. I also tried acupuncture and physical therapy - but still the problem lingered on. Anytime I walked a significant distance, my adductor and foot would tighten up and begin to hurt. When my husband suggested I try a chiropractor, I figured I had nothing to lose. I sought treatment at the Palmer Clinic, where Dr. Shaw also teaches. After trying a few different options, my assigned chiropractor brought in Dr. Shaw to take a look. Amazing! I have been suffering from chronic indigestion. The area between my two ribs felt suffocating to the touch and hurt when I pressed it. I felt stuffy when I breathed. After Dr. Chun gave me an injection, the qi disappeared and became less stuffy. In addition, Dr. Chun is also very accurate in bone setting. With two clicks, my back straightened, as if there was a board supporting me. I didn’t believe in Chinese medicine before, but this experience convinced me.

Best driving school hands down. It's not that costly compared to other driving schools for the 3 lessons I needed for the behind the wheel training certificate, but it definitely gave an "expensive experience." They provide the vehicle for you to use with the instructor. They know the rules of the road (according to the dmv standard) extremely well. It's said on the website "we are always on time." Well, they weren't lying. Anmol arrived exactly when he said he would, even earlier actually. Anmol went above and beyond to provide a perfect experience when he didn't have to. If you are considering going here for your certificate, do it. If you want to go here as an already licensed driver, do it. For me, watching how-to videos online is helpful, and so is driving with your parents! But to go behind the wheel with professionals who not only know how to drive well but actually study according to dmv stands, is superior. I'm happy to report I passed my first try, with only 2 errors (speed, stopping for too long as a stop sign). Good luck everyone.

Max is an exceptionally good instructor. The lessons progressed slowly and methodically. He understood clearly through what stages he should take me to polish my driving skills. I am a first time driver and of advanced age but his training helped me to pass at the first attempt. I am grateful to him for it.Remember that your training may not end with the lessons you signed up for. I had to take a few more because he felt I was not fully ready. Even though I had gotten my drivers license 20+ years ago in New York City, I never ended up getting a car or driving there. So I was quite nervous about driving when I moved to the Bay Area and I put it off for a few years. I was turned on to Bay Area Driving Academy by a friend whose two kids had great experiences learning to drive with them.
I took several refresher sessions with Carrie, Ryane and Leroy and I loved them all! They were all super relaxed and extremely helpful with feedback and were totally not worried about how anxious I was.
We did some city and highway driving, then on our third session, Carrie had me driving through the mountains to Santa Cruz on the very curvy Route 17! That was quite the confidence booster!
