I drove one hour to get a magic straight perm here. I am so happy with the outcome. She is very good at analysing my hair and understanding what to do based on my hair condition. She applied multiple keratin creams to protect my fragile hair. It was worth driving for an hour. She will be my only hair dresser while I live in the US.

I made a terrible mistake of cutting my bang myself. I looked herrendoous. Joolee very kindly accommodated me without an appointment, and helped me fix my mistake. I walked out of her hair salon with a lot more confidence than when I walked in! I will be back for regular cuts with her from now on!

This review is WAY overdue. I came to Joo Lee in April to get a root perm and hair cut. Not gonna lie, I was nervous coming into my appointment because I've always grown up going to western hair salons and end up hating my hair! I have shoulder length hair and my hair was thin and fine in the front of my head compared to the back. Joo Lee did such a good job handling my hair. I remember telling her to just do a root perm and a trim on my hair (I showed her photos of Korean hairstyles for reference). I was so overjoyed when my hair looked so full and healthy. She gave me curtain bangs with face framing layers, plus the layers were not overwhelming and didn't leave my hair...read full review
