Water Damage Restoration did a great job. My rental house had a plumbing leak that flooded the bath, hall and bedroom. They came out within the hour and got the rooms dried out. This saved the walls and trim which would have been thousands to replace.

We are extremely satisfied with the skillful work provided by Evan, Bob and the crew at Classic Finishes. We hired the company to refinish our old, beat-up kitchen cabinets. Evan spent time experimenting with different finishes and, as we made suggestions, drove various samples out to our home. Even after we gave the OK to one of the samples, Evan experimented with a new color and drove that sample out to our home, saying he thought he'd found a brown tone we'd like even better. He was right! We have gotten compliments on our newly refinished cabinets, and we would highly recommend this business.

I haven’t had my hair colored in over ten years. It was all one color with a spray of gray. I requested something to give my hair more dynamic movement. My hair type is fine, light brown, and it was all the same length. Taylor listened to me and had suggestions that made sense. After a few days, I feel like the foils are perfect for wearing parted in any spot. It looks cute down, up, braided… My hair is interesting now. I love it. It was exactly what I wanted.

Been trying to find a good barber every time I visit Minnesota for work, just been going to the barber shop at the mall but it was so inconsistent some good cuts but a lot of bad cuts. So when I found this place which was pretty close to my hotel thought I'd try it out and I'm glad I did. Wyatt was just a super chill dude who listened to what I wanted for my cut and at $30 you can't complain, definitely will go back here again.
B's Barbershop is a wonderful place to get a haircut! I feel it is a gem of a place in the Saint Paul skyway, and very convenient if you are downtown. This is one great Barbershop! I first started going here in 2011, when I lived in that area. You will not get a better haircut anywhere in the state of Minnesota like they do at Grandview! I have now come back, even though I don't live in this area anymore! I am very happy with their services & you will be too!
There are two gentlemen that work here & I think they own the shop as well,but I am not sure. The person who cuts my hair is Jacob & the other goes by the name of Gib. They both know how to cut hair extremely well. Gib is a former bodybuilder & for an older gentleman he looks much younger. Jacob is the one that cuts my hair & he gets a PhD from me in the knowledge of his craft.
Let me tell you how my haircut went. Jacob takes his time in assessing your hair & how he is going to cut & finish your hair so you can look great! There is no place like this shop to be found. Jacob follows the growth, style & structure of your hair & then proceeds. Even my hair that grows on my ears he cuts away because he knows it's a nuisance. He shaved off my two weeks worth of stubble and it was done so well. His knowledge of his craft is one of a kind. Once you become a customer you will want to come back & become a regular. Gib is excellent as well!

It is extremely clean with off-street parking near Fairview & Grand in the Mac-Grove area of St Paul. I didn't take any photos because the photos they have on their site are sufficient. If you want to look good for your significant other or your employer then this is your place. I have had my haircut done in many cities, but Grandview Barber Shop is a complete winner?!!! ( I don't know what other services they offer. What I get done at this shop is a haircut and beard trim.It is always a good idea to give them a call to see what other services are available.) In my case these days, a short bob that is cut to easily flip UP. So, I was THRILLED to receive this at my first time visiting First Design. My neighbor had told me about this location and about Robin, so thank you Lowell, but mostly thank you ROBIN! She's super friendly, actually listens to you, and knows what she is doing, and then gives that to you!!! Why is this so difficult, is what I never understand if I go to other places?! Wow! My first impression was unforgettable. Echo greeted me so kindly and gave me an in depth tour of the salon and was so knowledgeable about all the beds and lotions. Gave this place a try despite questionable reviews because I was in the neighborhood and they had late hours. Was not disappointed & have been back a few times since. Great service, not pushy (I just wanted a basic pedicure) & their prices are better than any other spa around. My first pedi there was just before a 2 week road trip that would involve camping on the beach, a music festival, and many miles of hiking. My toes held up beautifully through it all! Today I found out Lana Nails is temporarily closed so I made an appt at another nearby salon. The experience at the other salon reminded me of why I love coming to Lana: they are friendly and welcoming, the space is clean, and they take their time with each customer to make sure the service is done well. Lana Nails never tries to up-sell me - in fact, the first time I went in Lana suggested I do something other than the service I had booked because it would be better for my nails, even though that service was slightly cheaper. I look forward to coming back to Lana when they open again at the end of July!

She helped me transition from medium length to short hair which is a big transition and huge commitment as anyone with curly hair knows since our hair grows sooooo slow. Thanks to Terra I have enjoyed my hair every step of the way. My hair is currently very short and I love it! Terra has found a way to highlight my curls while also keeping it short and feminine. Her product recommendations have also been helpful in creating the style I want. I always enjoy chatting with Terra, but have recently adopted a "quiet haircut" which I highly recommend. We usually catch up for a few minutes and then I read while Terra cuts my hair. It's so lovely to just relax, read, get my haircut, and enjoy Terra's beautiful space.

The CBD massages with Lisa are my go to! She is friendly, listens to her customers and can apply the pressure you seek. I usually flex between the 60 and 90 minute sessions. The booking is super easy as a member using the mobile app and I always get a curtesy call a few days prior. There is a cancellation fee of 50% should you not cancel within 24-hours. The front desk staff is peppy and will guide you into the waiting area where you will be offered a drink and a hot towel if you feel inclined. Bonus - you do NOT have to be a member to book a session. When booking, non members get access to the entire club including child care classes, machines, weights, sauna, etc. Rating this a 4 simply because I feel like the waiting space could use a facelift such as some zen music, candles, or even a small water fall to add some serenity to the space.

Such a great experience! This was my first tattoo and I felt so comfortable every step of the way. Jers took the image in my brain and made it a reality, and he did it so quickly! It took just a couple hours for the design and tattoos for both myself and my friend. This was about five weeks ago, the tattoos have healed beautifully and I completely understand why people get addicted to this! Definitely won't be my last visit here.
Got a tattoo 4-5 years ago that was not done very well at all. Been embarrassed by it for quite some time. Called Hung's and was able to get in for a quick consult for reworking my tattoo. The second he started rattling off ideas - I knew I was in the right spot. Few weeks later got in (bigger tattoo). Can't believe what a great job he did basically redoing most of it. The place had a chill vibe, we were greeted promptly and before long, I was in a clean chair (the place is super clean) with John (John is super cool) at the ready!

The vibes of the shop were also really fun and creative. Everyone had their own style and I loved it. As someone who works in surgery, I also appreciated the sterile technique I saw and that everyone was freshly setting up as I walked in. Kelly Plumbing recently provided excellent service for a bathroom faucet repair in our 100+ yo home. Autumn was clear, transparent and communicative in explaining their pricing structure and setting up the job. The Tech (Nick) arrived on time and was friendly and professional in considering the two options we presented to him for completing the repair. His work product was excellent, and the price we were charged seemed very reasonable when compared to two other plumbing companies we contacted. (We also received a first-time customer discount that was greatly appreciated.) Bottom line: we will definitely consider using Kelly for future plumbing projects!

I contracted with Capra’s to remove a septic and connect to city sewer. It was a large job that involved a lot of tractors and digging. Every person on the crew was fantastic. Incredibly professional and took the best possible care of my property. John did a great job improving the slope of a challenging hill, he’s an Earth artist in a tractor. The crew even thatched my grass. Highly recommended trusting Capra’s for your sewer and plumbing needs.

During this last storm I noticed that there had been a little water in our basement. I immediately thought it was because our sump pump wasn't working properly so I called Steve to see if he could check it to see why it wasn't going on. Steve said he couldn't help with this but referred me to a plumber. However, upon speaking with Steve and explaining the situation Steve explained what he thought happened and in the end I wouldn't need to call a plumber at all. There aren't many contractors who would call you back to explain this knowing that it wouldn't be a sale. You can be sure if I ever have a drain issue Steve is the one I'd call. Communication and service were outstanding. Chris called an hour before arrival, was prompt, courteous and professional. Had lots of tree roots blocking my main sewer line, he removed 90% of them. The other 10% he explained why they couldn't readily be removed with his equipment, but gave me ideas to help minimize them. Very impressed with his forthcoming information, patience in answering all my questions, and service (took about an hour). Also completive pricing - much more reasonable then the big companies. I was recommended Midway from a couple coworkers, and I echo that high recommendation!

We had a new circuit for a sauna installed, along with wiring of the sauna heater. Troy was great. He was quick and efficient on both days. On-time, and professional. The Maids are simply fantastic. They are thorough to the utmost, coming in with a checklist and leaving no stone unturned. They don't make any excuses, and will even move things within reason to get to the dust and dirt, and ensure everything is cleaned. They even organize items, papers, toys, etc. and leave you nice surprises like towel animals :). I love that they have a manager/team lead that comes onsite to review the cleaning before signing off on it. We have used them for 9 years now and will continue to do so. The team did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen. The kitchen was previously quite small, but with a partial wall knocked down and an island built in, the space is very functional and looks beautiful. Zach kept us updated on what was happening with all aspects of the remodel and listened to our preferences. He also offered great ideas when we were unsure what to do with the remodel. I would highly recommend them.
We were able to purchase and install the same carpet we'd priced elsewhere for about half the price quoted at a competitor. Clare was very helpful and accomodating, and the installation crew did a beautiful job. We are very happy.
Have a rental property where the carpet was removed and needed to be refinished. It was in rough shape with some permeant damage due to pets. They did a decent job on getting it to the best shape they could. Pricing was straight forward up front and seemed fair. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there was a miscommunication on getting the stains out. My understanding as they were all going to be removed but they were not and the finish was put over them. It was a little frustrating but there could have been a misunderstanding on my end and after discussing with him I see the pricing could not have reflected that type of work. I needed to do something to satisfy the local rental inspector and this did the job. Besides the stains the floor looks really nice! I would still recommend them for any job.Service: Restoration

We called on this place to give us a bid for our living room carpet and stairs. Steve responded in a timely fashion and we looked at samples and picked out a nice color that we felt alot of other stores lacked in comparison. We picked a Mohawk brand and we couldn't be happier with the plush look! The pad also was so much thicker than the 1 taken away. No smelly residue; And luster the carpet gave to our home! Steve was great to work with, and out of 4 other bids, we felt his was the best option. This business IS NOT ABOUT THE $, and we felt others were over the amount for a similar product. The installers were great, timely, friendly etc. We also recommend if you don't have a large space, to get up the rug & pad on your own to reduce the cost. With all the rain we have gotten this summer, it became apparent there was a very small leak in my roof. A friend recommended Matt Czech at Pineview Builders. He came out the day after I called, scoured the roof, and found several popped nails One in particular was suspiciously near where the leak might be and it's head was completely gone. Matt fixed all the problem nails, adding an ice and water shield where needed.

Very happy with Lone Oak. This is my third summer in my house. They installed the system here so I continued with them. They show up on time. When something has needed to be fixed, they've done it reasonably priced. Especially true when the entire back of the system was destroyed by the company who installed my fence.
Edit: Now my 9th summer. Lone Oak has still been great. Turn-on/blow-out prices have increased but still well worth it.
When the city did backflow inspections, I had zero issues. My system had been installed properly and I didn't have to do anything.
This spring, my front zone didn't work when they came to turn on the system. They were back today. I came home to huge holes in my front yard. The roots of the maple tree in the boulevard had pinched off the lines. They bypassed the problem.
As they were finishing, I was shocked that I could barely tell they had been here. (First two photos were the huge holes. Last one was right after they left.)
Bob and the guys at Lone Oak seem to have installed a quality system. And when issues have arisen, not their fault, they have resolved them for me for reasonable prices.

We had part of our neighbors cottonwood come down on our property. Chris from Edina seasonal services was out to our property day of incident. He kept us informed of when clean up would happen and also the trimming of cottonwood. Super friendly knowledgeable and got the job done making our backyard safe again. Johnson Creek Landscaping was just what I needed! Mick came and assessed my situation (56x22x3 foot retaining wall), came up with a plan and informed me of ways I could save money on the project (usually folks are trying to upsell instead of save their clients money!). When they came to do the project, they were very professional, nice guys. They did a great job and cleaned up at the end of every day. They even swept the street out in front. They cared for my property and at the end, the leveled my lawn (which had been damaged by their equipment) and seeded it and laid hay down. The grass was back in a few weeks! The even seeded my neighbors lawn below their side of my retaining wall (where there was only dirt before) and mulched below the other neighbors (where there has been mulch before). My Health Partners plan covered everything, but I could tell that they are thoughtful about pricing, too -- they provided four options for my next steps and had researched pricing with my insurance plan by the time I was ready to check out. I was having back pain for years and wrongly self-diagnosing it as down to bad exercise (swimming) technique. A few people suggested seeing a chiropractor so I contacted a place near my house but never heard back from them. So, I contacted the next closest place (Mighty Oak). I didn’t know anything about chiropractic treatment other than videos I had seen of people getting snapped and bent and twisted. I assumed there was only one type. I was extremely skeptical about the NUCCA adjustment because it seemed so passive. How could so much pain be relieved by a few feathers weight of pressure? Dr Rodd smiled and told me to wait and see what happens in a few days. He was right. The pain went away and stayed away many months later! Almost hard to believe. Great service. Great team.

Been going here for cats and my chiMix for 15+ years. Dr Nolte is always kind and knowledgeable. She predicted my dog's need for knee surgery when I first adopted him and knew nothing about little dogs. Care here is sooo great! I always recommend.

We've used East Valley Animal Clinic for years. They fixed up one of our dog's legs when she dislocated her ankle using cutting edge technology for the time (3D printed orthotic). They spent a lot of effort on her case and explored various options. We felt they informed us as much as possible on our decisions and answered all of our questions.
When our oldest dog got very sick suddenly, we called and explained it was urgent she be seen, and they fit her in the same day. We suspected we were going to have to put her to sleep, and they offered to do a "Quality of Life" visit with us. We got to sit down with the vet while we explained what had happened and she helped us make the very difficult decision to put her to sleep. She and the tech were very compassionate, left the decision to us, and gave us their feedback. We really just needed to know we were making the right decision, and she helped greatly with that. Despite them being very busy, we weren't rushed or made to feel as though we were under any sort of time limit to say goodbye to our dog.
We are very grateful to have them as our vet, and wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else.
Staff are nice and understanding. Doctors are knowledgeable and patient to answer my questions. I appreciate that I was able to visit and check upon my kitten whenever I want during his hospitalization.
We are long-time clients of St. Paul Pet Hospital. This morning I found my dog looking guilty and acting very strange (coughing, choking, hacking) and I saw that she got into a sewing kit. I brought her to an emergency vet who advised the problem was kennel cough. St. Paul Pet Hospital was consistently on the phone with me trying to find time to get my dog in for a follow up. The symptoms worsened and I said "She is drooling blood." They made space immediately, got her in, and pulled a sewing needle out of her throat. We never doubt the care we receive here, and this is yet another of many reasons why.
The staff there are very compassionate. You can tell they care about the pet's well being.

My super anxious dog (3.5 yr old mini Schnauzer) did great getting his annual exam and vaccine. Dr. Abby and staff did an amazing job! With a previous vet my dog needed to be sedated, but Dr. Abby knows her stuff! She made adjustments and distracted him with treats while giving vaccines and the exam. Thanks, Dr. Abby and team!

Not cheap buy worth every cent. I have a big dog and it takes them about two hours to give him a haircut and bath. I can't imagine how long it would be for me without the proper tools or experience. They do a great job and he looks wonderful every time.

They have a great variety of classes available which is what makes them unique- all sorts of yoga classes, yoga sculpt, strength training, and circuit style. The coaches are all phenomenal as well- im consistently amazed each time I have a new instructor. Committing to working out has never been easy for me- I didn’t grow up playing sports so never really felt like I fit in the “fitness” realm, plus didn’t have much experience with the discipline of fitness. Just got done attending a class on zoom with William Prottengeier. You really should investigate this center and William's classes. Very clear and concise instructional style. Includes philosophical commentary and mind body breath, conceptualizations to help the student go within. Inspiring and humorous. I love his classes and the center.
I tried a yoga class that was not right for me because of fibromyalgia and sciatica. The teacher was great. She tried to adapt the poses and when that didn't work she said she wasn't going to charge me so I could use the credit for a more gentle class.
Shaila is an experienced and knowledgeable yoga instructor in many types of yoga practices which she brings from in her classes which gives the name YOGAHOTDISH. I have been going to Shaila's classes for over 12 years and she truly is the best! She is knowledgable, experienced and adapts her yoga classes to individual needs/concerns/goals of her students......definitely not the fad/mass type of yoga class. Arden Hills is a wonderful space for yoga.....when weather permits there is a private outdoor patio looking over a beautiful wildlife area and a very spacious indoor area directly next to the patio. Stephanie is my Pilate instructor and I’ve got to say because of her, my experience at longevity has been GREAT. She knows what she is talking about. I can tell that she cares a lot about her clients and the work that she does. She makes me feel seen and heard when I talk about my body pain, about how I feel after every exercise. When I leave I feel amazing and always think, wow I could’ve used another hour!!! For as long as I’m still here in Minnesota, I’d like to continue my work here with Stephanie. She challenges me yet meets me halfway wherever my body and mind is. She knows right away if I am in my head and asks me how I am feeling that day and I could just tell she really cares. Since then I’ve been recommending Pilates to everyone I come across and how it’s opened my eyes and how it’s made me feel physically, even mentally and spiritually.
Had my first massage ever, and it was absolutely lovely. Sydney was very kind and receptive, and I left feeling refreshed and so much better than before. Would recommend the CBD massage if your muscles are strained or tense like mine - definitely added to the experience

I have a shoulder injury from weight lifting and have dealt with pain for 2 months. Orianna found every spot and worked them firmly and effectively. The space is lovely and relaxing and she gave me great advice about caring for my shoulder into the future. My shoulder feels better than it has in weeks. I will definitely go back. One of the best massages I've had.
This was my first massage ever so I didn’t know what to expect, but it was great. I opted for a “tune up” as I’ve had neck pain the past few days and wasn’t sure about a full massage. My experience was extremely relaxing and professional. The room temp and bed were both comfortable and I’m leaving feeling better than when I went in.

My calves use to have so much tightness & use to be painful to stretch & there is no tightness nor does it hurt to stretch them out!? My mental anguish & anxiety has diminished. I feel in balance when I walk and move around in the home & I like how I look out of my eyes✨ I think the???s had something to do with this ?. I really appreciate the radial & ulnar nerve massage. This was something new 4 me & never been exposed to this type of massage. It felt like it needed to be touched & you unclogged some gunk while massaging it out (especially the l. side). The pain of the pes anserine (l. knee) gone 98% ?. I appreciate you resetting both my wrists ??? Especially the right one ?. Even though I am a lefty, I felt the restoration of my right hand ? & arm right from your table and it feels completely restored ? During my 2 massage sessions last night I noticed my right hand was put to better use ?↕️. & the challenge you had to face when massaging my much needed sore hips ?. & ?ping my ankles ?↕️. Treece is very talented and kind. I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed and have also seen my sleep improve since beginning my massages with Treece.
Taylor has been super kind and caring. She accommodates for my particular pain situation and has given relief from the pain each time I've gone. Maggie is also really great about scheduling and responds quickly.
Jp is great. She does massage with stretches, and her hands are incredibly strong. Her office/room is comfy and welcoming. I will definitely be booking again.Please know that her building is locked on the weekends, so you will have to wait for her to come get you for your appointment.
