“Simply the best PT I've ever been to and I've been to many over the past 30 years throughout the country and even world. Under the leadership and guidance of Stefanie, they are quite simply a place of healing. A dojo of healing is what I like to tell Stefanie. You have to put in the work like a dojo. They will meet you halfway with the treatments for pain to get you moving but as Stefanie says, movement is the lubricant. You have to put in the work. And under the guidance of their amazing Doctors of PT, you learn how to move correctly, what muscles are weak, what areas of your body are out of line and where there is an imbalance. I honestly don't think there's a business I can recommend like I can recommend this one. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment today.“
“Jennifer and her pilates method have been my go-to favorite workout method since I discovered her class right after having my first baby. She is delightful to work with and makes it so easy and fun to get an effective workout that makes you feel good and strong. Im so thankful for her online library but also love the opportunity to take a class in her beautiful Charlestown studio.“
“Absolutely love down under especially the studio, great location, and even better teachers“
“Passion & Pilates is the first place I ever tried Pilates and I definitely made the right choice. I have always worked out (weights and cardio) and I have found adding Pilates to the mix has improved my flexibility, core strength and balance. My instructor, Michelle, is exceptional. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient as she introduces new moves and explains what each one is designed to do. She is also a good listener and easily adapts my routine when I had an injury or limitation. I have also watched other instructors and see that they have trusted relationships with their clients. The studio is clean and modern. I always enjoy being there and feel great when I leave. I am so glad I found Passion & Pilates and highly recommend this studio to others.“
“I've been coming to Pilates Back Bay for 6 months now and I love it! The studio is beautiful, well equipped, and centrally located. Heather C. is such a fantastic instructor. She is so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and patient. I look forward to our sessions every week. I highly recommend Pilates BB to anyone interested in learning classical Pilates.“
“Working with Olga has been an amazing experience at a time when I have not been feeling great in my body. She is thorough and intuitive in her approach. I appreciate her helping reduce pain and get back to a stronger body.“
“This past Sunday I was lucky enough to come across a free Pilates class in the North End. Jill was the instructor. The entire hour was great! She kept the motivation going with her high energy, inspiring words and positive attitude! It was extremely humid but so worth it! I will definitely be joining Jill on the green again!“
“I can't recommend Fitlab Pilates enough!
I used to take pilates classes frequently and enjoyed it so much, but I ended up moving and eventually found myself unable to find a studio that I clicked well with....until I found Fitlab.
The environment, community and staff are very warm and welcoming upon entrance. The studio is beautiful, clean and spacious.
I truly enjoy the pace/precision of the reformer classes and the individuality of each instructor. You can tell each class is planned and operated as such but allows for modifications or changes as necessary. Details like that assure me that every instructor is knowledgeable and an expert in their field.
Coming here each week has felt so amazing and I am so happy to be back on the reformer.“
“I have been taking group classes at Healthy Changes Pilates for 5 years and during the pandemic started woking with Erika individually. Working with her has been truly a wonderful experience. She brings incredible knowledge, competence and depth of experience to each session, which I am greatly appreciative of. She is quick to assess strengths and weaknesses and works with the areas that are in need of strengthening while continuing to strengthen the entire core. I tell her she is a miracle worker as she knows how to work around an injury and has me feeling better at the end of a session. Through working with her I have come to better understand how my body muscles function, have gained strength and flexibility, and I feel and look fit!
I am so glad to have the opportunity to work with her. I highly recommend Erika and Healthy Changes Pilates to any pilates enthusiast!

“I have been working with Helena for about two years and she is just an awesome instructor and educator. She always explains things (how your body works and where is the source of the problem), and gives instructions in an effective and intuitive way to make sure you can get them and exercise in the right way.
I came to her as I notice that I have a chronic problem with my right knee—it would hurt whenever I took a long walk or run. After my training with her and adjusting the ways I use my legs and feet, I don’t even remember when was the last time my right knee bothered me. Moreover, I can feel my body much better now. Before, I felt my body was like a whole piece. Whenever I moved, I moved everything together unconsciously and if I didn’t feel well, I could not ever identify exactly where the problem was. Now I can feel parts of my body better and better and can coordinate them by focusing on specific parts. I definitely consider myself lucky having the chance to work with her!“
“I have been training with Kathleen since she was at her previous studio so at least 6 years. I started with her afternoon mat classes but once I injured my back and was done with PT I started private training with her on the suggestion of my PT to help continue the progress and my rehab. She listened, moved at an appropriate pace for me and with time and perseverance my back is feeling better.I have stuck with Pilates training, even doing Zoom mat sessions during the pandemic as and this surprised me I love it. I see Kathleen privately one day a week and participate in a semi-private group with my husband on another day. My husband also does a private but with Larry… note he only started training as he wanted to see what I was so excited about and why I was fitting into my clothing better. The studio itself is lovely, light and spotless. You can tell that both Kathleen and her business partner, Larry (who is fabulous as well), really care about the space.“
“Sonja and the rest of the Pilates Lab team are experts in their field. As a pelvic floor therapist, we trust Pilates Lab with some of our most complex patients because of their therapeutic approach to pilates. They are not a one size fits all type of pilates studio. They really know their anatomy and cater to their clients' dysfunctions. We feel so lucky to have them down the street from us because we can't imagine sending our patients anywhere else! Thank you Sonja for providing such an inclusive pilates studio in Boston!“
“Erin has done an excellent job at intuitively understanding my goals and back issues limitations to come up with an individualized Pilates program. In the past, I’ve experienced a wide variety of PT and used a strength trainer, but I her Pilates has been the most beneficial of all modalities. Before Body Center, I never really understood Pilates, but now I highly recommend it if you are looking to get a handle on improving core strength, posture and flexibility.“
“As a dance instructor and choreographer for over 28 years, I know how great of a work out Pilates can be. It is perfectly designed for the dancers body, emphasizing strength, stretch and control, so when my Mom said she had started classes at Mind in Motion Pilates Studio, I felt that I'd like to give it a try as well. Let me just say, I had no idea the transformation that would take place. I had abdominal surgery that left me with very little muscle control. Not only has working with the Mind in Motion instructors increased my core strength, it also helped me regain control I had lost due to my surgery; control my doctors weren't sure I'd ever have again. I went to Mind in Motion hoping to get a bit of a 'work out' and instead transformed my body. Li has a profound understanding of the body and instructs diligently to insure proper placement, breath, and engagement. The staff is knowledgeable and motivating, the studio is spotlessly clean, and the equipment is top notch. If your looking to just 'exercise' then go to a gym. If your looking to learn True Pilates and change your body, then go to Mind in Motion Pilates Studio.“
“Pure Pilates is a wonderful studio. The trainers are professional and motivating. I have been training with Melissa for about a year and a half, and it's hard to explain just how much of a difference it has made in my life. If you've never tried pilates, this is a great place to start, and if you're a pilates veteran, you'll still be able to be challenged at this studio. The prices are also really reasonable.“
“Community yoga with Karen is excellent. She knows her stuff and is very good at explaining the different poses as well as modificaitons. I felt very calm and relaxed after. Would highly recommend it!“
“Swan is amazing! I've had private Pilates sessions at many locations around the country, and her teaching techniques far surpass any others! After years of practicing Pilates - both machine and mat - I learned form from Swan that vastly improved my practice beginning with our first class. She doesn't just take you through the Pilates routine - she teaches you posture, proper muscle movement, body alignment and techniques that take the workouts to a different level. I stand, walk and and do other workouts differently (and more effectively) now thanks to Swan's tips for improving my Pilates workout. If you are looking for a great Pilates session and techniques to take your workout to the next level, I highly recommend booking classes at LYON Pilates!!“
“While we all loved Core de Vie when it was on Charles Street it has been closed since the winter of 2020 despite what the Google listing says. I am the co-owner of the new business now located at 40 Charles Street ~ Blackstone's of Beacon Hill“
“I am so grateful I found Boston Back Rehab Center. I went to Boston Back Rehab after 10 years of chronic back pain. Through a combination of dry needling with Fay, massage therapy with Yinh, and the Zoom pilates sessions I finally got rid of tension I'd had in my back for over 10 years. The sessions at Boston Back Rehab is the best solution I have found that has helped me alleviate my back pain. Thank you!“
“Love Solstice Power Yoga. Inferno Pilates and Yoga classes are amazing. You feel so good after class. Elaina, Kelly, Stephanie and the entire staff are great. And the retreats are FABULOUS.“
“This place with the help of the instructors (Sharon , Morgan)( Inferno )who we so far have had the pleasure of working with has been an amazing experience , from recovering from fractured bones it’s not only helped my body but my mind and soul as well. It’s a life style and I recommend everyone to try it.Open minded all around , like fabulous said , just breathe ?♂️Can’t wait to book again.“
“Every Body Pilates is the cornerstone of all that keeps me sane, healthy and active. Over the past couple of years I have built strength and stamina that helps me do both the basics in life (load the dishwasher!) and the fun stuff (get in and out of a kayak gracefully!). Thanks Dylan and team, appreciate you!“
“I am thrilled with my reformer Pilates lessons with Yelena Hindman at Boston Body Pilates Newbury. Yelena was actually referred to me by two other instructors who teach at the studio, after I told them that I was the type of ‘student’ who doesn’t mind working on perfecting a single movement for months, if necessary; that slow and precise, interested me more than fast and unmethodical.
At my first private lesson Yelena had me simply walk back and forth, towards her and away from her, for the first ten minutes, observing my posture and alignment. She pointed out a few things I could work on correcting and explained how I was over/under utilizing certain muscles. Her knowledge of anatomy is clearly outstanding, as I literally felt she could see through me.
Yelena’s teaching style is focused, precise, direct, patient, detailed. She wants your mind to understand and connect to the physical movement, as your body executes.
Yelena is not there to tell you oh what a great job you’ve done! Yelena is there to teach, and to help your mind, breathing and body, understand all facets of any position. A lot is covered in an hour and the pace is focused. I always come out with a wealth of knowledge. My plan is to continue to take private lessons with Yelena until i feel familiar enough with the machine, terminology , positions, flow; and then I look forward to joining her small group classes. I’m in this for the long run; not looking for a quick fix. And I want to progress and build on a solid foundation. In Yelena, I am confident I
have the best guide. She always gives me 1-2 homework assignments to work on in between sessions, and I appreciate this as well. She is not flaky or bubbly; she is serious, solid, thoughtful and an excellent communicator. It is a pure joy to learn with her. Thank you Yelena!“
“I took a Sunday class with my sister and Jane was just such an amazing instructor! So clear on instructions, displayed movements and was so nice. We left feeling so strong, will definitely go back! 11/10!“
“Laura is amazing! I do semi-private Pilates trainings at the studio and it’s been wonderful. Laura is so knowledgeable about fitness and her hands on instruction has been transformational. Also the studio is always immaculate!“
