Stylist: My sister in law has multiple tattoos done by Joanna, and I have loved each one. So when the time came for me to get another tattoo I knew I wanted her to do it. Joanna was great during the design process. She took the basic rough ideas I had and created a beautiful sleeve. She made sure I liked (I loved) every part design and worked with me on the small changes I wanted done to one part of design. Day of getting the tattoo, she took her time with the stencil and its placement making sure it was in just the right position for how my arm moves. If I didn't know about her work previously, that alone proved how much she is dedicated to making sure the work was going to be perfect. During the session, she made sure I was doing okay and if I needed a break. 8.5 hrs later, I have this beautiful sleeve that I can't stop staring at. I LOVE IT!

Rybells is great for blowouts, styles, updos, makeup and more. I have a membership package so I come at least 2x/month. Usually see Shadin but all of the stylists are great. My blowout and style lasts days. Love the hot towel after the shampoo!

I haven't had a beard trim in years. The stylist, Janet, was awesome!! I was nervous because my beard can be difficult to manage with all the cowlicks. Janet, alleviated my fears quickly. First experience at this local barber shop. I arrived a few minutes (2) late, and it was not an issue at all. Not confrontation. Elijah asked how I wanted my hair done, and I showed him photos saved on my phone from how my barber on the northside of Chicago would cut it - high fade with finger length scissors cut on top. He finished the haircut in 35 minutes and was very swift yet thoughtful in his approach. He asked me questions in a conversational manner in the beginning but it didn't distract from the task at hand. This is a great local spot worth considering for a haircut. Lots of younger children with parents, those in their 20's, and above 30's - like me! Thanks again.

I went to COCO nail bar - Downers Grove for the first time today. It was a last minute appointment and Chau, their manager, was extremely kind to accommodate me. I'm very particular about my nail designs and expect 100% accuracy. The nail artist, Yen Yen, far exceeded my expectations!!! I was impressed by her attentiom to detail and patience while drawing intricate details. She was highly professional and took time to address any of my concerns. I have already booked my next appointment with her and I can see being her regular customer going forward.

Larry provided a complete proposal with a suggested computer produced layout, and itemized cost estimates, and work schedule.Our project involved completely gutting the existing kitchen down to the studs and installing new utilities, walls, ceiling, custom hand-made Amish cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. I used them to replace/update all my light fixtures, switches and outlets in an older home I was selling; they did a great job. I used them a few years later to replace a handful of light fixtures in another home and again they did a great job. I would highly recommend them!
Bradford & Kent was great to work with from design through construction. During design, Greg took time to listen to our wish list and came up with a great design combining our too small dining room and outdate kitchen layout with a larger, more functional space. The 3D views he provided gave us confidence in the overall layout. We even have cabinet space that we have not used yet.
Mary Kate patiently attended to our cabinet, counter and fixture selection as we went through the tremendous variety of each. She even steered us away from selections that, now that the kitchen has been completed, we are completely happy with.
Brian was great during construction keeping us informed and up to date on all construction activities. All construction projects have their unexpected challenges and ours was no exception. The few small issues that did arise were quickly and happily addressed by Brian and his team.
La Mantia Enterprises installed our stamped concrete patio, they did an amazing job! They attention to detail, price and follow up were great. Highly recommend using them for any outdoor work.

I had once gone to a dentist that removed my eye tooth. The same dentist then wanted to remove another tooth. I was then referred to Dr. P from a co-worker, and I can't tell you how thankful I am for the referral.
My whole family now see's Dr. P and my sister as well.
Dr. P is the most gentle dentist out there, and has no judgement on how your teeth are, and only aims to help. My oldest son had his wisdom teeth out, and it didn't even hurt.

I am so impressed with Dr.K, and my dental hygienist, Rebecca. I transferred here from another dentist, who had told me I needed a cap replacement and had a cavity. Dr. K explained that both procedures were not needed and patiently explained why. This is an honest dental practice. They are authentically friendly and very caring. I highly recommend them!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Kennedy and Casey for quite a few years. Whether I've had an injury at work or have overdone things around the house I can count on them to get me back in action quickly. I especially appreciate that Dr. Kennedy takes her time to explain how the body gets off track and what her treatments are doing to help you heal. Massages by Casey are not just relaxing but provide lasting relief from pain and tension. An extra benefit is that Dr. Kennedy only recommends what is truly necessary, no pressure for repeated appointments like some larger "corporate" practices. Just a wonderful experience all around!
I've been seeing Dr. Hartman for about a year now. I have fibromyalgia, a pinch nerve in my neck, severe pain in both knees, very bad back pain, asthma and allergies, a host of other issues and also major sinus problems. Dr. Hartman is extremely compassionate and very caring, and he goes above and beyond for his patients . He addresses whatever ailment you have and works directly with you to make you feel better. I have chronic illnesses, and since seeing Dr. Hartman I've definitely seen improvement. My husband goes to him also and we are both very active people and he has helped us both tremendously. We especially like our massages from Dayanne!?
Josh is amazing!!! I have gone to many places in the last past 8 years to get my arm better and thought I would really never be able to lift it over my head again. After going to Josh I have almost full range of motion. And so much less pain. He is a miracle worker!

I saw Dr. Brewer for an old sports related injury that has driven an increase in pain after hitting 35 years or so. I'd tried numerous chiropractors and acupuncturists in the Downers Grove area with no lasting improvement. I was in almost constant pain when I finally discovered Dr. Brewer. While I haven't seen him in well over a year or so, the treatment he suggested worked for me and I have seen lasting improvement. I'm 100% pain free and attribute that entirely to him and his treatment. I'm forever grateful! Highly recommend...if I could give 10 stars, I would!
When I first attended this chiropractic clinic for a workshop on neurodivergent disorders, I honestly was NOT expecting to be sent to a chiropractic clinic for the workshop. The workshop was honestly SO informative and how a lot of neurodevelopmental disorders and their symptoms get exacerbated because of issues with the spinal cord. Ever since getting treatment from Dr. DeCubellis and his staff, I’ve been experiencing LESS brain fog, more motivation each week and honestly just a better and well rounded feeling in my back that I did not knew existed!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. DeCubellis and his team if you’re dealing with back issues with a combination of mental health symptoms! Such a great place!!! ?

She applied Reiki and Acupuncture as we worked on healing some painful childhood trauma that had settled in my body. I was surprised to get in quickly as a new client with my pets (they got me in the next day), my last vet wasnt even seeing new patients. They are so nice and the facility is amazing, Doctor Hulesch was very helpful and kind. Prices were very reasonable.
Dr Katz has been treating my dog with an autoimmune condition that affects his eyes. If I had stayed with traditional medicine and the veterinary opthalmologist they would have had to remove his eye by now. Per Dr Katz's instructions I changed his diet, she added some supplements and he is going strong 2 years later at age 12.
I also have a senior rescue with heart problems, skin problems, anxiety, and Dr Katz has helped him to get to the best health he can be in after he was found as a stray with heartworm and probably years of neglect. He is the sweetest dog and I'm grateful for the time I have left with him knowing we have done everything possible for him to be happy and healthy as a senior.
Thank you Dr. Katz for your expertise for our pets. And your staff is wonderful. Everyone in your office truly loves the animals they treat.
I’ve been bringing my cats here for two years and love it! The vets and techs are so nice and always give my kitties lots of love and attention. They’re not a big fan of the vet building but they sure do love the people. Their pricing is very reasonable too. One of my cats needed surgery and I was expecting it to cost at least three times as much as it did!

Very very helpful and polite staff, and a very nicely stocked larger petsmart. I found the three or four items I needed here really quickly, and when I got to the line at the front of the store, one staff member notice the line was getting long and immediately dropped what she was doing to open a new register and help folks in line. They were really nice here. I would definitely come back to this location.

This was one of the most remarkable vacations I've taken and probably the best yoga retreat ever! Laura Jane offers something for everyone, from the twice-daily yoga practices, to the remarkable accommodations and food, and the wonderful daily excursions. I saw parts of France regular tourists miss and did it with an amazing group of yogis -- everyone was so welcoming and friendly. This is the fourth retreat I've done with Laura Jane, and it was truly "next level". I've already signed up for next year's retreat to Spain.

Yoga By Degrees offers a wide variety of yoga classes. I recently took a Traditional Hot class at the Downers Grove location. It is a Bikram style practice which is done in 105 F and 40% humidity. The instructor Brian was informative and motivating. His energetic style of teaching was enjoyable and fun.The only thing missing from the experience was the efficient balance between heat and humidity. The room wasn't hot enough to brake the sweat.
Finally I found what I've been looking for. I've had a missing link with massages for the past few years and it was quality lymphatic drainage. I saw Sharon and immediately after the first appointment things started clicking. My body has a lot of lymphatic fluid buildup that has prevented progress and Sharon's methods to release are better than anyone I have seen! There is a difference between lymphatic massage & lymphatic draining and it has been an amazing experience learning how to help my body thru this! Highly recommend this technique and team.
I've been coming to see Sharon and team for over 2 years now and they are the best in the business. I realize that is a bold statement but I've received lymphatic drainage services all over the world and I strongly stand by my statement. I feel like I get a glimpse of heaven every time I walk into their pristine offices (multiple locations!). My usual favorite is the lymphatic drainage by none other than the Lymphatic Legend herself, Sharon!! But recently I was able to try the Radiofrequency PEMF machine and it was absolutely amazing. It feels like a warm massage over the targeted area, with added suction for optimal drainage. I've been struggling with a sluggish lymphatic system for a few years now and coming here has been the biggest blessing and the best oasis. Thank you Sharon and team for your ongoing work in this important field.

I just got home from my weekly Reflexology class and wanted to be sure to review SOHMAR while it was fresh in my mind :) Mike is outstanding as a teacher and an overall human being - he shares so much wisdom with his students - beyond the mechanics of what he is teaching. He is compassionate and kind and his bad 'dad' jokes are hilarious :) I have always wanted to get licnesed as a massage therapist but due to time and finances, my Reflexology certification was a foot in the door for me. The price was right, and I love seeing my classmates every week who also teach from their own experiences. Plus - free massage every class? CMON!!! I cannot recommend SOHMAR enough. Amazing - 10 stars!
A great place for athletes. A great team! They not only care and relate to athletes. My kid is a basketball player and I hurt my shoulder, the team is rehabbing my kids knee and saw me and dived into my issue. This is the best place for training and physical therapy!

She is immensely knowledgeable and treats you with kindness, humor, and heart. I previously saw a different therapist elsewhere and was not seeing results.
