Great doctor, great staff. I've been seeing Dr. Schten for a couple of years now. It is obvious to me that Dr. Schten and his office really care about what they are doing and, most importantly, care about me as a patient. Dr. Schten listens, knows what he's doing, and is very personable. I can also say the same for his staff. They are responsive, answer the phone and return calls and go out of their way to help. Very rare in today's medical landscape, at least, in my experience.

If you need some exquisite custom woodwork Jitandra is your guy. He is a passionate, dedicated artist. He made this crazy project of curved barn doors for us and he really put his heart into it, he paid attention to all the details. The result was beautiful. Each and every contractor coming in our house (and we had many) are amazed by his work. We got in touch with Jitendra a long while after our project was finished for other advice and he provided his professional advice without hesitation. He is one of those contractors that you can trust without the need to be worried that things might go wrong. Jitandra is an expert at his craft, kind and down to earth, and we appreciated so much working with him.

Highly recommend Mary, whether for personal one-on-one training or for group classes. We’ve been taking private lessons 7+ years with various dogs and she is creative, excellent at problem solving, loved by all of our dogs (and cats), and resourceful. I'm a DIY guy and always feel welcomed here. * friendly staff: I've called ahead and they've always been happy to help by answering questions, checking on inventory, and they've even had certain parts transferred from their neighboring stores. They are usually in a good mood and excited to see you. * great selection: they carry a wide supply of top brands like Hunter, Netafim, Toro, etc. In addition to drip irrigation products like valves, hoses, fittings, couplings, and emitters, they also carry many other landscape-related products like lighting, turf, tools, etc. * low prices: they will get you very competitive prices, as low as what you might find online but without the shipping and handling! I've shopped across the three big irrigation supply stores in San Rafael and SiteOne is often the lowest priced, and sometimes has been significantly. * far superior than the local hardware store (orange included.): 10x better selection, staff that will actually help you, and better prices. * they don't advertise that they accept returns but they do. I've found that if you treat them with courtesy you'll get treated like a VIP.

I had a beautiful hair lightening/ balayage/cut done with Kelly. She was very attentive and did such a great job with my hair. She took time to hear my thoughts and examine my hair to make sure we were going for the same thing. The result was a natural well blended blonde accent completed with a beautiful flowy hairstyle that was exactly what i was looking for!! Molly and Kelly worked as a team at time and i really enjoyed the entire experience. Also important to note - they use all natural non toxic color and hair care so no ammonia smell whatsoever and no more of that dry hair feel. Marc made me look 10 years younger and that's pretty good for this 62 year old. I have gotten so many compliments on the color which looks natural but better than my gray. The cut is perfect. Got my haircut for the first time in a long while. Minako gave me an excellent consult before deciding what we would do. I've had many mani-pedis by Anna and really appreciate her expertise.Besides being an excellent manicurist, she is very extremely knowledgeable.... she actually saved a nail that other salons had been treating incorrectly. My experience has been that large salons often give lesser service. An independent manicurist will usually always maintain quality standards. I think one visit to Anna will convince you of her abilities!

I love that she keeps her salon humble and services only single clients at a time. So relaxing and peaceful. Walk-ins welcome. However, appointments preferred. She's great at ensuring your appointment is met and timely. Tina offers only quality service and only quality products. My normal goto style is a pink n white French. However, today, I chose to have Tina choose for me and check it out...Love, love, love my Tap hybrid gel overlay. This product is so light. Feels so natural. And I love the shine. Tina's prices are very fair compared to other salons I've tried for the comparable services. So many salons have had to raise their costs to operate . I have not experienced this with Tina. I had another permanent eye makeup experience years ago with someone else that was horribly traumatising so to get such a great result with almost no pain, in only 45 mins, and with a touch up appointment included has been a wonder. It really is the best beauty treatment I've ever had in terms of overall positive impact on my appearance and self image. I love getting sugared by Tesa. I've been going to her for over two years now because of the awesome service and comfortable environment she provides. My legs were so sensitive when I would shave, every time they would get red and bumpy and cause ingrown hairs/infections. If you have sensitive skin like me then I 100% recommend sugaring. You have to be patient and okay with the hairs growing out but it's worth the sacrifice. There is seriously no better feeling than leaving an appointment with Tesa and having smooth legs!! She is thorough and really knows what she's doing. I always get the lower half of my legs done but have occasionally sugared my arms and bikini area as well, and was equally satisfied with the results. Tesa herself is awesome. She's extremely professional and friendly. What is typically a 45 min service (for half legs) almost always turns into a longer visit because because I have such a great time chatting with her and catching up. I always look forward to my next appointment!

I came home on a Saturday around 6pm to a continuous stream of water coming through my ceiling into my kitchen cabinet above the range, through the hood, onto the counter, etc. The toilet is directly upstairs. He came within an hour and determined it was the toilet supply line and replaced it quickly. He assessed that the valve did not need to be replaced yet. I'm so appreciative of him helping me on a Saturday night for a fair price.

Love them!! Doke's did our HVAC system and rough plumbing for our remodel a few years ago and we've worked with them ever since. Just had a plumbing issue and they sent a guy out 20 minutes later and in the evening. It was amazing. Enrique was awesome! Fixed the problem and was such a nice, honest guy. I had gotten a quote from another plumber and it was WAY more expensive and they wanted to do way more than what was necessary. Doke's is honest, pricing is competitive and people are always nice to work with.

Great response time and service. Our refrigerator broke while we were on vacation. A National Appliance repairperson arrived within a couple of hours of our service request. Charlie immediately diagnosed the problem. He had the refrigerator up and running, ordered the repair parts to be sure the problem didn't repeat, and came back two days later to install. Pricing was reasonable and fair. It was great dealing with a knowledgeable professional.

Abbey Carpet installed carpeting on stairs to our garage and recommended Fiber Care to clean it as it was looking really dirty and stained.Sebastian just left - he cleaned the stairwell carpet, getting rid of many bad stains I thought would never come out. He also cleaned our dining room chairs (getting rid of a couple of annoying stains) and he put fiber protection on two new sofas as well as the dining room chairs.Sebastian was on time, professional and clear with respect to pricing (and expectations). The team at Master Cleaners is incredible. I have not witnessed a business with this much expertise than Master Cleaners - this is not a paid infomercial - they were that good. We had a very light fabric rug that initially the owner said he didn't believe he could address the traffic areas. They under-promised and over-delivered! Larry Klosowski and his able team of Glenn and Steve, spent roughly two weeks refinishing a few thousand square feet of hardwood flooring in our home. Larry and his team operated very carefully in our home, caused no collateral damage to walls or anything else, fulfilled every commitment they made, and completed the job on time. Service afterwards was also spectacular. Price was reasonable. If I will ever need more work done to the floors, Rode Brothers will be the company I call first.
Off the charts great. Superb old time skills with wooden flooring, techniques and finish. They extended wooden flooring in my 90yr old $1.6m cottage and it looks (and feels) wonderful. A couple of guys, Norm, and Xavier - really skilled, caring and simply nice guys to have in your house. Would recommend them to anyone. Incidenatally, these guys came in under Lamperti Contracting of San Rafael, another class act.

I bought a Valor gas insert here 9 years ago. It's worked great until recently I had trouble shutting it down. I called Hearth and Home and Scott helped me determine the most likely cause over the phone...the receiver, which needs to be replaced every 7 years on average. I came into the store and he showed me how to remove it and change it out with a new one myself, saving me an expensive service visit. I successfully changed it out and it's working perfectly again. This store sells a great product with wonderful customer service!
Brian and his team have now completed two different projects for us - a rebuild of our outdoor roof decks and a living area renovation project that included building custom floating stairs with glass. Brian and his team truly helped bring our design ideas into reality - we provided inspiration photos and they made it happen. They are also great at problem solving and helped us figure out to build our rooftop decks with adequate drainage that protected the integrity of our roofs and home. Brian's team is incredibly professional, creative, punctual, and tidy, leaving our home cleaned up and livable each day after they went home. They also have a great eye for detail and don't stop until they feel they've made everything perfect. They also stay on budget and don't nickel and dime you. There are so many contractors in Marin but Kerr Construction is the best of the best. Jeff is a fantastic person with so much building and business knowledge. His professional crew repeatedly deliver the highest quality of home construction. His office employees are always friendly and helpful. Construction can be stressful but it is so much easier to navigate the land with a company that is all around excellent in its class. My husband and I have worked with Kerr Construction on several projects and will definitely work with them more in the future.

Hargrove Construction recently completed a master bed/bathroom addition to our home in Fairfax. It was a big project taking many months, and I can't speak highly enough about Alexander and his team. From the very first phone call as I gathered estimates, he was the most helpful and most responsive of all the contractors I contacted. During construction, he was always available for questions and talked us through every phase of the work. He communicated clearly about the issues that came up and was transparent about extra work that needed to be done and what that would cost. We work from home, and his team, Danilo and Andrew, were a pleasure to have around, working quietly and diligently. His subcontractors, Dave Bettis (earthwork) and Charles Cole (electric) were also extremely responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. At the start, we imagined this whole process to be kind of a nightmare, but Alexander and his team made it a great experience. Most importantly, the work is quality. There were no corners cut. We have worked with Zach and the team at G on two hardscape projects over the last five years. In both, we basically had the design vision, and Zach helped us refine it and execute on it. We are very pleased with the result of the projects, both of which have made our home more comfortable and enabled us to realize indoor-outdoor living. The projects included large poured concrete pads for the front walk, laying of prefabricated concrete pavers on the sideyard and back, a pergola and deck, and lighting, drainage, and the main irrigation lines throughout.Zach was very responsive, and his team leads knew their stuff and were very friendly easy to work with. The pavers on the side- and back-yard took longer than Zach had initially planned for, in part because this was a product his team had never worked with. Nonetheless, they stuck with it and did a good job with the grading and fulfilled our rather complicated design vision perfectly. Guests always comment on how nice the pavers look. Zach's team was also kind to all our established plants in the process, which is not always the case in hardscaping efforts. The team coordinated well with other contractors, too, as we had window replacements and fencing occurring at the same time.Both projects were very reasonable in their price given the labor involved.We highly recommend working with G on your next landscaping project!(*Note that messy plantings in the photos are fully our responsibility, not that of G).

Jose was very prompt in responding to my request for a bid and came out in a few days. He provided the most competitive bid out of three I received. I ended up only doing half the job for now due to my finances, but he was very amenable and started right away on replacement of my irrigation system and installing a beautiful path of pavers surrounded by pebbles. Will use him again for any big jobs!

They are usually in a good mood and excited to see you. * great selection: they carry a wide supply of top brands like Hunter, Netafim, Toro, etc. In addition to drip irrigation products like valves, hoses, fittings, couplings, and emitters, they also carry many other landscape-related products like lighting, turf, tools, etc. * low prices: they will get you very competitive prices, as low as what you might find online but without the shipping and handling! I've shopped across the three big irrigation supply stores in San Rafael and SiteOne is often the lowest priced, and sometimes has been significantly. * far superior than the local hardware store (orange included.): 10x better selection, staff that will actually help you, and better prices. * they don't advertise that they accept returns but they do. I've found that if you treat them with courtesy you'll get treated like a VIP.

I called 3 companies to do an estimate to remove 4 trees and trim 1 tree on our property. I called the Bartlett last simply because I thought an established company such as Bartlett would be more expensive and bureaucratic. Bartlett Arborist Nicholas came in to discuss and understand our needs. Based on the work spec, Nick gave us an estimate which was most economical. After I signed the contract to do the work, Bartlett team came in and did a safe, professional, high-quality job which met and exceeded our original spec/expectation. During the tree cutting/removing process, we requested some tree logs to be removed from our yard since we did not intend to use them as firewood. Such a request would normally cost more from other companies. Bartlett team gladly complied with my request without charging extra. The team cleaned up after the removing tree logs/branches! Bartlett team did an exceptional job and is simply the best!

She explained the importance of this treatment, how to work on his loose teeth and what to expect in the next few months. I have been going to Hass Family dental for over 10 years and will continue as long as they are in business. The hygienist team is also full of gems! Although tools in mouth, Shelly, the hygienist always keeps the conversation going about books she's reading, hikes she takes with her grandson and keeps her eyes on the clock so you're in and out in what feels like a flash. The new building they are in is brilliantly clean. Thank you for taking care of my son and making his dental experience absolutely positive!! He is looking forward to his return.

I’ve seen countless chiropractors, physical therapists, and doctors for years and used their various protocols but nothing ever got close to resolving the root issue. Dr Danaher’s NUCCA Atlas protocol went right in and fixed the root issue, which was a misaligned top vertebrae. This misalignment caused the rest of my spine, shoulders, neck and back muscles, and hip to misalign and cause pain. Even these ever so slight misalignments caused pain, radiating numbness, tingling. It’s really amazing to meet a chiropractor who’s trying to resolve your issues in as few sessions as possible so you can be on your way. All the other chiropractors I’d seen put me on a protocol of regular adjustments forever and were never able to resolve the issues. Dr. Danaher, a true and rare healer!

This office is way more than just a chiropractic facility. Dr. Drew is a talented practitioner but part of what makes Stabilized unique is the inclusion of multiple different healing modalities. Lazer, shockwave, decompression table, vibration platform, ice, heat and more. He sees the body as an ecosystem and every time I get adjusted I feel like energy moves more freely through my tissues. I've also had the privilege of trying out shockwave on my knee that was recently injured in a ski accident and in just two sessions my orthopedic surgeon was blown away at the reduction of fluid in my joint and the increase in my range of motion. You may have had chiropractic adjustments before but you've never had it like Dr. Drew does it. He makes me feel comfortable and talks me through everything he's doing. I'll never use anyone else!

I didn’t realize how much pain I had been keeping myself from believing I was in until I started seeing Dr Linda. Between some body work and some custom orthotics (some of my arches collapsed after an ankle surgery years ago), I’m beginning to feel much better. Specifically I’ve been suffering from pelvic pain and dysfunction for year. It had moved into my hips and back until I felt all unbalanced and tight. Dr Linda has been able to help me correct the imbalances in ways that no pelvic physical therapist has been able to for me.It’s an ongoing process and things are still slipping back out of place every few weeks but it’s early yet in our treatment plan & dr Linda is very knowledgeable; she lets my body tell her what needs to be done to fix it. Such a welcome relief from pelvic PT’s who seem to essentially use educated guesses & process of elimination to decide treatments.I also feel heard and validated when I work with Dr Linda and always enjoy my appointments with her.
I have had chronic neck pain since my late 20's and seen probably 5 chiropractors and 10 massage therapists with zero change (including seeing certain chiropractors for 30+ times in a row) and had complete given up on it ever improving, I have seen Dr Jonathan Smith maybe 8 times and already I see permanent improvement in my neck pain. It is really quite amazing and has caused me to now trust chiropractic work again. I cannot thank or recommend Dr Smith enough.

Our 75 pound dog blew his knee out and needed it rebuilt. Negatives- Ouch!! expensive though they do a superb job at it, and (no fault of theirs) it's 3 months of controlling his movements by keeping him on a leash. The positives - the surgeon is forthright and communicative, and the outcome is shaping up (11 weeks now) to be excellent. If this happens to your dog and it's going to need repair, the sooner you get it done the less arthritis will happen in the joint, which cannot be repaired. You have to love your dog to pay this much, and be able to afford it, but if you do, Golden Gate is the best in the north Bay and cheaper than Petaluma hospital.

Yasue is such a gifted healer. A session with her will melt away all tension and anxiety. Several sessions might even be life changing. I tried at least 3 other professionals during my pregnancy, and nobody seemed to be comfortable and knowledgeable touching my body while pregnant.
Christina was the perfect fit for me and my baby. She has a beautiful, wise and warm presence. Her massage helped me access deep states of relaxation in a time I was feeling tired, sore and restless in my body. She was great at relieving my lower back pain, it was quite miraculous really.

Siren is such a great masseuse and even greater person. She really cares for her clients and I truly feel so relaxed after her massages. Dillon is like a mad scientist, and I mean that in a good way. he is so focused on getting to the root cause and then he does his magic. He is definitely not your average massage therapist. His knowledge of anatomy and physiology is impressive and his ability to apply it to healing is a gift. My shoulder, back and neck pain is vastly improved and nearly scarce. I only need a tune up about 1 per mo.or so and it's quite affordable with his sliding scale policy. Do tip him well. He deserves it.

Went to Kristina with a lot of pain from neck to shoulder. Could barely move. She remedied 65% of it in first session. Going back for more, but I am so grateful for her work on my neck, spine, and shoulder.

She was very thorough and had strong hands – doing deep tissue massage, without hurting.
English is her second language, but she understood everything I said, but actually didn’t need to, because she knew exactly where I was tight and needed work before I said anything.
I left very relaxed and rejuvenated.
I miss their hot tubs but still really love going there for bodywork and massage therapy.

I have been seeing Ryan and his associates at Marinwood Community Accupuncture for several years. It seems that whatever concern I have, acupuncture has given me a solution. I recently saw Ryan as I'd had new troubling symptoms present themselves. Since I have "disc issues," I was concerned about the feelings I was having in my right knee, hip and leg. I saw Ryan. We conversed. He applied acupuncture. Issue resolved. In my humble opinion, he is deeply knowledgable and highly skilled. AND....at a reasonable cost, he is my "Go To" Health Practitioner before seeking other help!
My experience with Dr. Kim was absolutely phenomenal! I came to her for acupuncture ten days after having my baby with pretty severe Bell's palsy and I was desperate for any improvement to my face. The doctors in the emergency room were hopeful that it would clear up in a few months, but said it might not ever go back to normal. I came to Dr. Kim immediately after I was diagnosed and we got to work on treating the Bell's palsy. First, her office is immaculate--welcoming, clean, professional. She takes infection control/covid very seriously so she wore a mask the entire time she was treating me. I had never gotten acupuncture before and was pretty nervous when we began. She modified the treatment to my situation and my symptoms (I was a weenie when it came to the regular needles, so she used smaller ones on me). She always treated me with kindness and professionalism. Even though I'm not a big fan of needles, I looked forward to my treatments with Dr. Kim. It took some time to see improvements, but Dr. Kim did a great job at setting realistic expectations right off the bat. She said it might not happen right away, but I should see some improvement in the coming months. Within about a month, I was seeing significant improvement. In about ten weeks, I was 100% healed. It was absolutely remarkable. I was actually sad when I had my last treatment with her a few weeks back. She is such a remarkable practitioner and I would strongly recommend everyone to come see her for whatever ails you. Having Bell's palsy as a new mother was incredibly difficult, but Dr. Kim made the process really wonderful and healing. Thank you so much for your care and expertise, Dr. Kim! I am forever grateful!
