Took on a small job, and got it done promptly and at a good price. Handled a miscommunication about materials without adding cost. Answered emails quickly and provided detailed cost breakdowns. Most importantly, when the foreman arrived with his crew, he introduced each of them to us by name. Over 30 years of working with contractors and I have NEVER seen that happen before.

Just hire this team!Matt came out as agreed and produced an estimate within a day. Fairly priced, in line with a couple other quotes. Worked out a schedule to replace two fences, one a straight run along an open space easement and the 2nd a more decorative front fence with a new gate. I threw few curveballs at the team in a design-build sort of way and the response was, "No problem, we'll get it done." That was much appreciated. The job went very smoothly and the clean up was top notch and thorough.Overall we are very happy with Angel & The ATR Team's work. Very thorough, thoughtful, and deliberate in both words and actions.

Rarely have I been extraordinarily impressed from the overall exceptional experience after contacting a company for a potential job. In this regard, Above The Rest Builders, though ALL phases of the gate and fence project, was exceptional! Note – I chose that word carefully.From: 1) the initial meeting with Matt (the owner), 2) discussion and refinement of the design ( bc my gate was somewhat a unique design requiring bending of wood to create an aesthetic curve), 3) the highly skilled carpenters arriving on time, discussing ‘that’ day’s work and cleaning up, 4) the project completed on time, and 5) the final review and bit of additional work to achieve superior...read full review
