So thankful to Golden Gate. I called 3 other dermatology specialists in the bay area, and all 3 were giving me a wait time of 4 months. When I called GG they gave me about 2 month wait time but, listened. The receptionist I spoke with was so kind and didn't dismiss my dogs issues but encouraged me to be my dogs advocate. She told me to send pictures and even stayed on the phone to confirm I got my confirmation email. I live in Palo Alto, which should tell you how far I'm willing to go for my dog. Whenever anyone has a sick pet and has to go to the vet, the owner's stress level is already elevated before walking through the door. It is so important to have the first interaction at the vet be positive--this would be the front desk staff. Huge accolades for the staff at GG Vet Specialists! It was my first time there, unfortunately I was there for an oncology consult so my emotions were fragile. The calmness and thoroughness of the staff we met before the doctor (Who herself [M. Ruppel] was amazing) was top-notch! My own personal healthcare could take a lesson from GG Vet Sp.!! (smile)..Highly recommend this location. The staff and doctors here are wonderful. From reception, to techs, to doctors, everyone is kind, patient, informative, and knowledgeable. Their care is prompt and thorough. I can’t say enough good things about them.
