I scheduled an appointment without a solid idea of how I wanted my hair cut and styled.Minako was accompanying, very patient, and extremely detailed during the consultation before the hair cut. She analyzed the characteristics of my hair; its length, natural texture, head shape, and formulated a plan for me on how to achieve the patented "wolf-mush" haircut.She gave great advice on styling and hair upkeep for its growing-out process. I just moved to Marin County and found Minako after searching for an Asian-hair friendly stylist. Minako is so good at what she does! She asked a lot of questions at the beginning to imagine exactly what I wanted with my hair, and executed it exactly the way I wanted it! She also took her time and was very meticulous. I felt comfortable speaking up about what I wanted during the haircut and she gave me opportunities to do so. She is super nice and made a lot of conversation which made the haircut more enjoyable! Def recommend, especially if you're a person who has struggled finding someone who is good with Asian hair! Side note, the shampoo she uses smells so good!

Love Minako! She is the only person I trust for Asian haircuts, especially in the Marin. She is detailed and a perfectionist with cutting hair. She will ask you lots of questions to make sure you get exactly what you want with your new style. Highly recommend!
