We made the right choice in picking Rio to supply and install a new furnace, heat pump and hot water heater in our house. From our first meeting, it was obvious that owner, Sam knew his stuff and cared about customer service. He explained what product he was recommending and why, also making sure that we would be eligible for the maximum available rebates from the utility company.
Rio's quote came in better than others received, but he also suggested a couple of other add-ins that the others didn't and threw them in at no charge.
Sam and his crew showed up on the scheduled installation date and completed the job on time, all the while being professional and courteous.
I have no reservations in recommending Rio Heating and Cooling.

Love this place!! I have had 3 appointments with Coco now and every time I've been very satisfied. This time she did bleach & a peekaboo colour. Coco takes the time to communicate thoroughly and check what I want. She is also very attentive to detail - she noticed I was reading, and offered me a pillow to rest my iPad on for better comfort. Little touches like this really impressed me and I appreciate her kind service.
The bathroom is very clean and the whole feeling of this salon is beautiful too. And I LOVE that they offer a head spa service, a short head massage with scented products that is super relaxing but affordable.

I love the Versaspa spray tan here. I’ve tried a few around town and the three tan solution makes a big difference for an even and long lasting spray tan. The instructions were clear and the facilities are clean and bright.

I've been coming to Charming Nails & Spa for about 2 years now. I probably visited 3 to 4 times a year. It's a pretty good place to go if you want a nice pedicure/ manicure. You can easily book your appointment over the phone within a week to secure a spot. I would say the nail estheticians are pretty pateint and skillful. There were times I wanted to get nail art but I wasn't quite statisfied with the colour/ design. Except this most recent one, Lisa nailed it 100% (shout out to Lisa)! She spent 1.5 hours on my nails and they were absolutley beautiful. Exactly what I was hoping to get. I left the salon feeling so satisfied and happy.

Had such an amazing experience with Staci. I got a nipple piercing done after having removed my previous ones due to migration. Come to find out I was pierced incorrectly before and even though it has only been a day I can already tell that the healing process will be much better this time. My previous ones did not ever fully heal. Can't wait to get the other one done in a few months. Cannot recommend staci enough. She's so knowledgeable and makes herself available for any questions afterward if there are any concerns. Very happy with my experience this time, as usually I faint and/or throw up with needles (even with vaccines etc) and this piercing gave me just normal dizziness issues but it passed with a little time. I went through many reviews in many different tattoo/piercing places in the lower mainland before landing on staci and seeing how well recommended she is and after my experience as well, I see why. Definitely make the trip if you live out of the way. It is well worth it. I traveled from whiterock to see her. I am extremely happy with her work. ?
First time going here! Open until 9pm on a Tuesday taking walk ins! Got both my nips done, $104 with regular piercing and jewelry. I spent extra to get titanium with opals and it was still so cheap!! They were incredibly friendly and professional, the piercing was fast and very well done. I don't know their name but the person with short pink hair was so great. I will be back. The pricing, service, cleanliness, professionalism and the overall experience was 10/10.

After calling several plumbers who were too busy to come out, he came out within the hour and didn't charge the standard inspection fee as he trusted that I needed the work to be done that day. We had two sinks from the bathroom and kitchen that were connected that clogged as the previous plumber did a poor job on the piping and only had 1 p trap with no clean out. I was impressed with his recommendation to fix the clogging by installing 2p traps with modern clean out caps. He also redid the piping and unclogged all the pipes in our house with special industrial cleaning powder and hot water. His rates were also very reasonable, so I highly recommend this company. No need to get multiple quotes when you deal with this honest, reputable, knowledgeable and professional company.

Would give more stars if possible. This is the second time I used MidCity Plumbing and Damien was exceptional both times.
He was on-time, professional, and took care of my problems without any hassle. I love that they will come and do the assessment for free (so many companies I called will charge $$ just to come) and gives you very reasonable pricing, which you approve, before doing the job.
I had a broken garburator and problems with hot water not coming out of my kitchen sink and Damien came and took care of everything in less than 2 hours.

I am renting an Apartment built around 3 years ago and C.I.R Mechanical Ltd was in charge of its plumbing works. My kitchen pull-down hose was leaking and I could not find it anywhere. I called CIR desperately and talked with Steve. After a few days he found the part and I did not have to pay for the part (life-time warranty). My point is, Steve really could simply say I cannot find the hose, however, he went beyond and above his job to solve the problem.

I called on Saturday afternoon and spoke with Patrick. We had two old-style florescent light fixtures in a storage room. The light bulbs were dead and are no longer made. Patrick asked me to send him a photo. He texted me back 5 minutes later with a solution suggestion and a photo of it from Home Depot. It looked good to me. I told him that there was no rush but asked when he might be able to do the job for me. He did it THE NEXT DAY!! The price was good and the job well done. Nick at Jordans in Burnaby was an absolute pleasure to work with - I walked in a couple months ago looking for vinyl for my new condo and Nick was quick to greet me, listen carefully to what I was looking for, and make the perfect recommendation. The store overall had a nice selection of colours and styles at reasonable prices, which had been challenging to find at other stores. Nick was very responsive and knowledgeable when it came to questions about the product I ordered via email and phone, and he ensured picking up my order went smoothly and easily. I ran out of floor adhesive towards the end of a hardwood installation job and close to the weekend. I phoned various suppliers, all of whom were unhelpful. Yaletown answered the phone immediately and helped work out the logistics and followed up to make sure it worked out for me. First rate service, and their price was very competitive.
We decided to change our existing carpet in the Master Bedroom, outside the Main Bathroom, and in the Second Bedroom/den. Having done a lot of our own research as to the different types of flooring available to us, our next step was whether retailers would have what we liked. We found many did not have the selection to give us more choice. We needed to find a good retailer who has good customer service and has staff who do excellent installation because we were not going to do it ourselves. At one big box retailer we were not too impressed by their impersonal sales staff, because they provided us with limited information on what would be involved to have the existing carpet removed and have the underlay and the new floor installed. A good friend had used Metrotown Floors and Interiors before and had referred us to contact them with our flooring project. So we made some time to contact them and to go visit their showroom. The showroom had a very good selection of all types of good to high quality flooring. The customer service representative Al Eris welcomed us as we came through the door. He asked us what was our plan and what needed to be done. Then, he made a home visit to measure the work space and bring up any concerns that needed to be addressed. For example, what baseboards could be used that would go best with the current door frames, trimming of the doors, and to consider that we may need to level the underground floor before installing the underlay and the new flooring. We were impressed by Al's professionalism and his attention to detail. So impressed that we chose to go with Metrotown Floors. Once we chose the underlay and flooring we wanted Al was quick to give us samples of the product, and he advised us of the cost estimate within a reasonable amount of time. He put the time and effort into understanding our needs and he was there for us before, during, and even after our job was completed. Reaching out to us to see if we had any concerns with the installation and if we are satisfied with his customer service and the hard working staff who did the installation. Raymond so graciously did an on-call consultation with us after hours to look at samples as I work 9-5 and their store hours are 9-5. He provided us with a very very reasonable quote and came to the location the following week to inspect.
The quote was only slightly changed but still agreed and made the deposit.
An emergency happened on my end the day before the installation and Raymond was very kind to reschedule to our needs.
The day of service. The crew came and did their thing. Its a 750sft apartment and got it done in one day. 10:30am-7:30pm. (appreciate the one day installation!)

I have used Gold Trim for my business and residential (along with other friends and family who also bought from Gold Trim). My business was installed by Gold Trim for a place ~11,000sqft, and they did an excellent job, and finishing it on schedule. As for residential, we never had an issue or pushback from Gold Trim that we will have other trades installing them.
Some bears destroyed our previous fence so we hired these guys to repair all the old material. They replaced everything and the service was quality, efficient and respectful. We worked with him through Home Depot, and despite Home Depot screwing up our order on three separate occasions, Hazim was an absolute dream and did his best to fix all of their shortcomings, which he did seamlessly. He went above and beyond working for my senior mother - going out of his way to set her mind at rest, extra pre-work visits to confirm things, excellent work, clean and tidy throughout the process. If only other contractors were like Hazim. Can't recommend him highly enough!

We planned to design a feature wall with an electric fireplace and TV mounted. Among all the teams that visited us and provided us the schedule and quote, George was the only one who could earn our trust to engage him in this project. I sketched our design in AutoCAD and provided George the layout and dimensions. He spent more than 90 minutes in his first visit to go over the design and clarify all dimensions of the project. Then he gave us his business card indicating “Affordable”, “Reliable”, “Professional”. After he completed the project, we not only can endorse him for being reasonable, reliable, and professional but also we would like to add that he is precise and punctual. He delivered the project a few days before the deadline which have met all our expectations. At some point, we had to stop him from being so much picky in paying attention to the dimensions with two digits of accuracy. George went above and beyond and even covered some minor modifications that we had in the initial designs. His quote never changed over conducting the project even though he observed some obstacles that slowed down his progress at the time. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the service that George has provided us and we have reservation to promote his business! Thank you George!
This is the second reno I've done with LJH construction and both have been as close to perfect as renovations get. Leandross and his team are a pleasure to work with. My most recent experience was the gutting and complete renovation of a bathroom. The attention to detail, the quality of the work, the quality of the materials and the professionalism of the whole crew from architect, office team and tradespeople resulted in a renovation that exceeded my expectations. Had a phone call to go over the details, and then scheduled an inspection meeting for next day. Discovered we had dilapidated paneling and it was a potential opening for mice to come in. Got a quote upfront of the estimated cost/work involved to patch it up. Scheduled another day to come in to do the patchwork, which took about 3-4 hours. FYI, this included GARDENING and I was so impressed at how thorough and serious they took the job. After it was done, we were sent a very detailed invoice with a description of all the work done.Fast-forward to January: 3 of the mouse traps got triggered, so they were still coming in somehow. Pest Boss quickly scheduled in another day to reinspect our property. Found some suspect areas and one more potential entryway that got missed the first time -- all got reinforced.Pest problems WILL require multiple trips and continuous "monitoring", but this company is super patient about it. Gives me confidence that they can squash the problems even if they return.

Recently had a Momma squirrel and 2 babies take up residence in my chimney/fireplace. Randy was wonderful! He took the time to properly assess the situation, find additional potential entry points on the home and explain the removal process. He removed the babies and relocated them safely outside the chimney for the Mom to retrieve them to an old nesting point. Being an animal lover, it brought peace of mind knowing Randy had the wellbeing of the squirrels in mind while solving the issue. Highly recommend AAA Wildlife!
Terminix employees are courteous and thorough. They're comprehensive when identifying problem areas and offering good solutions for pest control. Our service rep is acutely aware of different people's varying fears around specific pests and is very tactful when addressing pest problems. Their regular scheduled visits evidently reduce the number of pests we have at our site. And if there are extreme cases where we need help with seasonal pests, they come out for an extra visit prepared to deal with the problem. I give this company a five-star rating based on their customer service relations and knowledge around pests and products.

I was going through a terrible lower backache, which limits my mobility then had my very first experience of chiropractic treatment with Dr Lee.
I was hesitant to go as I don’t know what to expect honestly but I’m glad i did because after getting treatment I felt better, I was relieved from the pain. They also do the 15 minute massage with the machine which was exceptionally relaxing.
I highly recommend Dr Lee, he gives you detailed explanations on your condition for better understanding as well as giving advice on which exercises are suitable for your needs.

I feel so happy and blessed that i have found Dr. Chris. My search was from google reviews and the reviews are so accurate about him. I have been to several Chiropractors but i will be sticking with Dr. Chris for the rest of my life. He is truly the best Chiropractor! He is the first and the only one who told me not to go back to see him when I get well because he rather give other people who really needed to see him a chance first. I recently booked a massage with a therapist named Rob Ghorbani. I asked for a therapeutic full body massage and he did just that. Not only was Rob kind, but he was a GREAT massage therapist. I left feeling better than I have in days. At no point in my massage did I feel uncomfortable. I was relaxed and felt like all the knots and kinks that have been bothering me were relieved. I came here for the first time for a cremation after my pacman frog, Murphy, passed. I was embarrassed to be so heartbroken over the death of a frog, but everyone went so far out of their way to support and sympathize with me that I was instantly comfortable. They were so sensitive and kind during the procedure, and allowed me to have him cremated with his favourite log. They listened to my stories about him and treated both me and him with more respect than I'd ever expect for the loss of an amphibian. They even allowed me to upgrade the type of container I'd receive for his cremains. I cannot recommend this clinic enough for their skill at navigating emotionally fraught situations, and I had the distinct impression that these values extend to all of their care. I would go back to see them in an instant.

Christina, Victoria, and Sabrina all went above and beyond looking after me and my pup. We were just traveling through town for one day and I needed a safe place for my dog to stretch his legs after a long flight, and to get a nice bath and tidy while I was busy for a few hours. Christina and Victoria helped plan our stay and upon arrival they were expecting and ready for us. Sabrina the groomer did an exceptional job giving my dog the nail buff and trim exactly as I asked for. My dog enjoyed playing with all the other doggies at daycare. Everyone who works there is also exceptionally kind and welcoming and you really get the vibe of a locally owned community business which feels good to be supporting. Next time I’m visiting Vancouver, I will plan around another daycare and spa appt for my happily retuning pup.

We had a last-minute trip planned to Whistler for a day, and although we had never used this daycare before, we had heard amazing things about The Urban Puppy Shop. Our usual daycare was fully booked, so we reached out to them. They asked many detailed questions about my dog to ensure she would adapt well to the environment. Throughout the day, they kept me updated with timely texts, letting me know my dog was settling in wonderfully. They also shared videos of the dogs playing on Instagram, which was such a nice touch! My dog looked incredibly happy, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend this place!

Peniby is such a great person who deserves all the praise she is getting. Besides doing work that truly leaves you feeling better, she cares. Peniby cares about you and wants to see you get better. It’s not usual to meet someone who has such a huge heart and does what they do because they thrive off of seeing you get well. I've had neck, shoulder and back pain for years since I was 20 years old.I have minor scoliosis and I seek chiropractic treatment once every week.Daily chores, my job and my bad posture would put tighten up the musclesand give me weekly headaches. It was disrupting my work and life.I have seen many registered massage therapists for over 24 years, but noneof them could ever work deep into my muscle.I found Kathy and I've been going to her for years. She knows wherethe trigger points are and she works on them.Many times I would come in with a headache and she knew where to work on and the headache was gone! She is that good!In my situation I rather see her than see a register massage therapist.If you have serious muscle tension that's been built up for years, you need to see Kathy!

T.C, who has taken over ownership of the clinic, is wonderful. He has a variety of techniques that he encompasses in his massage, is continuously incorporating new things that he learns, and is good at getting to the areas of concern.He is very professional and gentle natured, the office is peaceful, and you can tell that he takes pride in his work and his business.For those that do not have extended benefits, his rates seem reasonable in comparison to other clinics and he is also able to direct bill some insurance companies which is convenient.I think it's always important to support the small businesses within your neighborhood and this one truly is worth supporting.
In Total therapy Metrotown everybody is friendly and I always feel welcome. Colin is an excellent Physiotherapist and a great person too. He knows his job, he’s very caring, he listen all the patient’s complains regarding the injured areas and he always find the way to decrease the pain and helps the patient to get better.
He’s always disinfecting all the areas after each patient. He teaches exercises to do at home too. Excellent service

This has been here for a while and isnt noticeable from the street level. I stumbled upon this about 1 year ago and have been going to see Fara since then on and off. Today I had a session and I feel renewed after the session. He begins by learning a little about you so he knows how to treat you as we are all unique. He used acupuncture to balance my chakra today along with the oils which he makes and on top of that using the sounds bowls vibration. I have recommended to many friends already as I know what he has done for me.
I have been coming to Luke and Theresa's clinic since 2012, they are by far, the best acupuncturists. I have tried 5 other places in the GVRD and no one provides the relief that I get from here. They provide EA electro-acupuncture, cupping and massage during the treatment which releases my shoulder knots. Their treatment gets me lasting, highly effective relief that I can't get from my weekly deep tissue sport massage and chiro visits. These treatments are highly effective for my chronic migraines and pain. They are absolutely the best.

MT is a great driving school. I took classes for class 5 road test with Hung. He is a great instructor with excellent customer service. Roanne was good at scheduling my driving lessons despite having a busy schedule. Doel is a good driving instructor as he is very patient and understanding with my lack of driving skills. I was able to pass my road test on my first try.

Hi I have recently had a wonderful experience with Gold Star. I was able to complete my MELT program in a month. Thank Tom, Rob, Baba and Greg for their wonderful advice. They are a well organized school that set your schedule based on your free time. Online theory class let me to do my full-time job during the course. I highly recommend this school for their discipline and experienced instructors.
I have been driving for a while yet class 4 unrestricted is next level. JP was an excellent teacher.
