I made an appointment via text after inquiring about their special on Instagram. They had a special for a scalp treatment and blowout for $55. I've been low key on a hunt for a new hairstylist so I did it. The salon is super cute with its bohoesque decor. Kara was super sweet. She brought me to the back to wash my hair and apply the scalp treatment. She explained all their services and how things worked. She did a great job with the blowout leaving my hair healthier and shinier than when I came in. I might just start coming here for my hair appointments.

This was my first time here. Mackenzie was amazing! Her highlighting skills are great. I have never had anyone be able to lift my color in one sitting so beautifully. I’ve gotten so many compliments. She got assistance on my hair cut because she hadn’t done that cut before, I loved her honesty. My cut and color came out better than I could have imagined and I will definitely be going back.
Kendall is amazing!!! My daughter has been wanting a wolf cut for ages and I did research on all the stylists at Artistry and Kendall’s background fit perfectly. She was so thorough, did an expert job, and walked us both through how to style at home and take care of her new cut. Already booked our three month follow up to reshape after it grows out. We appreciated the entire experience from when we walked in until we left - my girl hasn’t stopped smiling once.

Outstanding service for both my 2 year old and Mt 12 year old! My sensory sensitive 2 year old was handled perfectly for her first haircut. The first haircut package is a perfect memento to mark the occasion. My 12 year old got a trim for healthy looking hair with some fairy hair tossed in. The staff was warm, welcoming, accommodating, gentle, and downright delightful. The whole atmosphere is a gem in a service that can be very difficult for parents, kids and the stylists. I booked my first ever spray tan (the wedding package) for my big day, but let me tell you, Christy was so sweet and considerate knowing I was nervously stepping into my first tan. She made sure I was comfortable, talked me through the process, taught me all of the correct tan care to ensure I stayed beautifully bronze. I could not recommend her enough!! I've been coming to Sunday's Sun Spa for quite some time now and I very satisfied by the staff and equipment. They have all of the top brands in tanning machines on the market. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to the other places in the area and the service here is top notch!
The staff is fantastic! Always cheerful, remembers us every time we arrive and has gone out of their way to get in stock sweatshirt sizes I needed if they didn’t have them on hand. Beds are great, clean facility and the spa treatments are terrific too.

Both techs were very thorough and the skin care/and products during both my mani and pedi were top notch. I love the scrub they used. The attention to detail was phenomenal.I loved how my french was done. It looks brand new a day later and the underside of the tips were left very clean and smooth.My feet felt wonderful upon leaving and i love the color and way they just sparkle in the light.I would recommend either of the techs I had and would definitely come see either of them again.This place has daily specials! Yesterday I had a trim and style and it was the best I've had in years--in fact I was DIY for the past 2 years because of a terrible experience in Florida. SO SO happy we found Laura! Hubby usually goes to Great Clips, but not anymore. He was very pleased with his cut and with how genuinely nice Laura is. We gave our daughter and 4 granddaughters gift cards for Christmas and they absolutely loved their cuts, colors, and styles! They could have been on the cover of any and all magazines, really. We give 14 thumbs up for Laura Nance and for The Hair Group! Everyone was happy and friendly from start to finish, super clean and great atmosphere. Walked in looking for a souvenir tat for the souvenir leg. Chris hooked me up. Found a partial original design from the OG Captain Coleman. Nothing cooler than an artist doing a piece that they have love and passion for. My nephew’s in the Navy stationed near by got he’s first tattoo same day by Martin who nailed that pice to perfection. Both had great details and clean lines. Price point was also legit. Thanks y’all, overall vibe of the shop was dope as well. If you’re in town hit them up for a walk in, you won’t be disappointed. I called on a Friday morning and he came in the afternoon into the evening to replace my water heater. I had been fighting the warranty company for 3 weeks trying to get it replaced. Explained everything that needed to be done and was beyond reasonable on pricing.

I cannot recommend Precision Plumbing enough! We have had a few issues with our 72 year old cast iron pipes backing up. Precision has always been very quick, professional, and reasonably priced when we called to have the pipes cleaned out. Then it finally came time to have our cast iron pipes upgraded to PVC. Precision was quick to provide a competitive estimate and they did a great job communicating during the whole process.
I am very happy with my experience and I will make sure to always call precision for any plumbing needs I may have going forward.
One Stop Plumbing always comes through with my plumbing issues. I had two other companies to come out and they so called fixed the problem but my upstairs tub kept leaking. They came out yesterday and the problem is fixed.
We've used Ali-Cor twice for non-emergency issues and both times they were able to come within a few days and solved the problem. Once was a cartridge change in the shower, the other time was clogged drains. Brandon was polite and professional both times.

The installers were on time, did a great install, cleaned up after themselves and checked multiple times that there were no leaks and the toilets were in good order. We could hardly know they had been there except that we had a new toilet.
Service technicians for both our AC and are Plumbing are excellent. Very professional on time always make recommendations leave the area clean and provide us the information we need to keep our systems running properly. Highly recommend Jason for any of your electrical needs. He did a panel upgrade, hook up for EV car, and ran electrical to a detached structure for 50amps going to a sub panel. His estimate was very reasonable and about half of what a large electrical company wanted to charge me. We had an issue where we had an obnoxious city inspector and Jason came back to “fix” the things the inspector was unhappy with even though they were not code issues. Also, Jason added a better ground to our water heater which wasn’t part of the job. He saw a problem and fixed it. Lastly, Jason volunteered to assist me with installing a new microwave above the stove which was awesome. He has helped other family members with projects at their houses with 100% satisfaction.

Great experience having Atlantic Carpet Repair come to the house to stretch our carpet. The technician (his name was Ben) was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working. He arrived on time, explained some of the nuances of the work to me, and worked diligently the 2.5 hours he was on the job. As a result of his competence, the appearance of the carpet looks tremendously better. I would definitely hire them again and have Ben do the work any time.

After 9 long months of being displaced from our home due to a plumbing line leak, we were finally able to move back in with an amazing new kitchen! In June 2024, we reached out to Bust-A-Bug after our tenant delayed reporting a roach infestation until it became severe. Blake immediately assessed the situation and knew exactly which treatment plan would best resolve the issue. We agreed to an intensive initial treatment, which included traps and monitors, spraying, gel bait, and educating our tenant on preventive measures to avoid future issues. The plan involved follow-up treatments every two weeks, with the expectation that the unit would be clear of roaches by September or October 2024 if we adhered to the protocol.
Their estimate was spot on! Our final treatment took place this month after two consecutive sessions with no signs of activity. A special mention goes to Ms. Amanda from Bust-A-Bug, whose patience, professionalism, and excellent communication kept us well-informed about appointments and treatments throughout the process.

JJ is the best! I called JJ for an ongoing issue I was having, and he was able to fit me in the same day that I called. He was very thorough and addressed all my concerns. Living with dogs, he was very aware of what to do to take help resolve the issue while having my dog's safety (and myself) as the top priority. I didn't feel like he rushed through the process, but actually took his time to figure out the issue and explain to me the process of what he was doing. He also discussed scheduling a follow-up appointment to make sure everything is working or adjust what needs to be done. He is very adept at his job, and I was very grateful that it was JJ who responded to my call!

I was looking for someone to winterize my sprinkler system and no company seemed to want to do the work. Southside was responsive and friendly. I called in October and they said they normally winterize in November and they would put me on their list and call me when scheduling and low and behold mid November and I received my scheduling call. I’d had some previous drains installed that weren’t holding up well, and he revamped the drain system, removed a large portion of driveway for me and leveled everything out fixing my drainage issues at the root of the problem. Landscaping is expensive; that's just the nature of the service. For that reason you want to make sure that you get what you pay for and make the right choice. Brooks wasn't the first place I called but the first business I called told me they were at least two months away from even setting up an appointment let alone getting a project underway and completed. But they suggested that I call Brooks because they knew them to be reputable. So I did. From the first call and after speaking with Gail I knew I was on the right track. It was late spring and my goal was to complete the project by mid-summer. Once I explained what we were looking for (a complete "do over" front and back, a patio, and a water feature) Gail came by the property for a visit. She went right to work on the suggested concept. In a few weeks we visited her at the nursery and talked about shrub/tree preferences and heard her recommendations. We arrived at a final cost, I made the down payment and we pulled the trigger on the project. The work crew (generally 4 guys) showed up on time each and every morning for more than two weeks. It happened to be the hottest few days on record in the Hampton Roads area but they pushed through every day. They knew what they were doing. At the end they had put in 3 tons of rock/stone for the pond, 135 shrubs, 10 trees and mulched beds around the entire backyard perimeter and across the front of the house. We now had a new paver patio with a wall on one side and a 500 gallon pond with a waterfall. And two months in during the height of summer and we have not lost one plant. Not one. (Of course we did our part by regularly watering until established.) That tells me something about the quality of the products and the skill of the landscapers. I've had plenty of issues with contractors since moving to the area 10 months ago. I've had more than my share of horror stories. This isn't one of them. It's not possible to thank these folks enough.

She explained everything she was doing prior to starting, was gentle and didn't have a heavy hand- It was probably the best cleaning I've ever had. We reviewed my care plan moving forward and I'm excited to move forward with them!
Joanne and Dr. Levin helped my son with a relatively complicated extraction. My son felt comfortable with both of them and things went smoothly. We are very grateful for everything the office has done for us and the amount of care and patience they showed my son. I have been thinking about this extraction for a very long time and feel more grateful than I am able to articulate for how smoothly things went. There wasn’t a single tear and everyone left happy.
Super friendly dentists and receptionists. Love that I’ve been able to get last-minute appointments when having any dental issues. I’ve never felt like I’ve been overcharged here, and everything is reasonable. They’re very transparent about costs and I appreciate how I’ve never had surprise bills. Love the heated massage dental chairs too. Definitely recommend Vacendak if you’re looking for a new dentist. They also were super patient when my toddler had to tag along to an appt with me, and they even gave him a toy to take home :)

Dr. Eric is very knowledgeable about spinal factors that can cause pain. He has developed a plan that has been helping me alleviate my pain instead of relying on medication. In fact, I have been able to reduce my medication intake since I started seeing him. Oh, and did I mention that the staff is very friendly.
Just wrapped up my initial visit with Dr. Accordo and he was able to identify my symptoms before I revealed them to him. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff, I look forward to my treatments starting.

Dr. Moss has helped more than just my back pain. I had chronic IBS that effected my daily life. Apparently the nerves in your spine can do more than just cause pain. I didn't really believe getting adjusted would help that at first but it actually did. I have far less IBS episodes now that I'm getting adjusted weekly. Dr. Moss really has changed my life for the better.
Recap. 3 months has gone by. Had back problems as long as I can remember. Set an appointment one day out the blue not knowing what to expect. After the great staff made me feel welcome the doc proceeded to take me to the back. After a few of my questions I had got answered we proceeded with what I came there for. Bawcom adjusted and released the pressure from my joints. My body sounded like twisting bubble wrap it was so bad. By the time we were done the pressure was gone I could had instantly fell alseep in the chair. It felt soo good. I left with no pain and standing upright. Im Still feeling great. I will go back as I need to deal with up keep. I highly recommend this place. I'm still feeling great.

I some how managed to slip my lower back out, I felt a slight pop and almost immediately there was so much tightness and sharp pain coming my back that just trying to walk was literally taking my breath away. I had tears well up in my eyes, I could hardly stand up straight! They took care of me & right away he said he could feel the inflammation on my lower left side of my back, it was terrible, I was in so much pain. He made 6 or 7 adjustments & I cannot express enough how much that made a world of a difference!
And today, after some rest and Tylenol, the very next day I’m back walking, lifting, & back to being fully functional as if nothing ever happened! Cannot thank Dr. Vaughn and The Joint Chiropractic center enough!

She was patient through all of our appointments and helped us to find the right medication combination to help ease our dog’s anxiety and to ensure he can continue going to the vet with less stress. The entire team there is amazing and truly loves animals!
They are amazing and you can tell that they actually care! They took the time to help get my dog comfortable as she is still young and a rescue so is quite timid. It is clear that they care about your animal and go over all options with you. The vets will spend time answering all your questions and don't make you feel rushed. The entire staff was great and greeted my dog with excitement the moment we walked through the door! Highly recommend. I will be using them for both my dogs going forward.
Dr. Porter is the vet I trust the most. He always takes care of my babies and goes out of his way to help you understand your options, good and bad. He has tons of experience and knowledge, and genuinely cares about all of his patients (animal and human alike).
Dr Hayden hands down is the best vet—our puppy only likes going to her and she even did an exam on the floor because of our 4 month puppy’s anxiety. Incredible!
Update: just had an emergency with our puppy and the vet was able to fit us in within 30 mins. Seriously, the best care and my puppy was treated right away. Can’t thank the team enough and that’s why we are clients ❤️

I was referred to Midway for an emergency visit for my rabbit Frankin who was in gastric stasis. The staff were efficient and caring, keeping me informed the entire time. Dr. Moore sat on the floor and examined Franklin while holding him in his lap. Very caring staff that put owners at ease. I highly recommend especially if you own an exotic pet (not cat or dog) because it is very hard to find vet practices where all veterinarians see all types of pets.
Dr shields is amazing with crazy, but sweet bull terrier pup, RJ! She is so patient, very knowledgable, and I do not trust anyone else with my baby! She is very quick to email me results and provide a follow up phone call, which I appreciate her taking time out of her day to personally call me! The girls at the front are very quick to respond to medication refills. I do miss the later appt times and the saturday appts options. But overall, Dr Shields is amazing!!

Brought my 17 year old dog here for the first time, his groomer was Jess and she did a fantastic job, she was so attentive and listened to what I was asking for. He has sensitive paws and skin and she was still able to get the job done perfectly. He was so happy when I picked him up, I will definitely be coming back here! Thank you to Jess and posh pooch !

Monica is the best massage therapist I've ever seen. She really listens to wear your body needs attention. She truly cares. I cry of happiness everytime I see her because I get the best feeling of relief. She gets all the knots out of my neck, back, and shoulders while having a calm environment. If I could give 100 stars I would. Please take my advice. She is kind, sweet, understanding of your needs, and her pressure is on point.

I am a huge fan of the Hand and Stone franchise. I have carried a membership on and off for many years now. I am visiting family in the area and decided to come in to take advantage of 4 packages/credits I had on file. I had Penny for a 90 min massage. She is DEFINITELY the top 1-3 masseuse I have EVER had. The firmness was spot on, she was able to hold this pressure for the full 90 mins (major kudos!), and she hit every inch of my body like a true professional. I would book her once a month if I lived in the local area. Looks like I have found the perfect holiday gift to treat my family to instead. Ask for Penny!!! You won't be disappointed.
Apple did my facial. I loved that she took her time to analyze my skin and ask about the skincare products I currently use. I went in for a microdermasion and upgraded to a Diamond Glow facial. I love that she wasn't being a "salesman" to me. My packages/credit covered the full expense with the exception of $10. Such a still and the upgrade was honestly worth it. I saw immediate results and it came with a serum which she thoroughly explained.

First I want to start off by saying this is a one of a kind physical therapy practice. They truly listen and care about getting you better. They look at you as a whole person/body vs just working on one spot. You also get a majority of your session time with the ACTUAL physical therapist which is so nice.
Here is my personal story…
When I first started having pelvic floor issues I had no idea what was going on and saw a lot of other doctors (gynecologist, urogynecologist, urologists, etc) to try and figure it out. After about 6-8 doctor appointments one of my doctors finally referred me to pelvic floor therapy but it was at another big name practice. I went there for an evaluation where they diagnosed me with hypertonic pelvic floor disfunction and after about 10+ sessions they discharged me even though there was still an issue I felt that I couldn’t quite figure out with the physical therapist there because she said everything felt/looked good. After I got discharged from there I started wondering what my issue was again and started doing my own research on pelvic floor therapy practices in my area and came across Restorative. I read a few reviews and decided to give this place a shot to see if I still had some pelvic floor related issues and I am SO glad I found them! I finally felt heard and understood and it was confirmed that I still had some deep muscle issues that needed to be worked on. I have now been to Restorative twice (with multiple sessions each time) regarding pelvic floor issues. I have mostly worked with Nav and she is amazing! (but I have seen Lisa and Ashley as well and they are also great!) I honestly can’t say enough great things about everyone here including Michelle at the front desk and Tun (the therapy dog that visits the practice a few times a week). Whether it’s pelvic floor issues or another type of physical therapy need I highly recommend you make an appointment at Restorative Physical Therapy!

I am so grateful that I was referred to this therapy center by my surgeon and his staff!! I had total knee replacement surgery, July 5th, 2023 and June 28th, 2024 and I am getting excellent care and therapy sessions from the highly qualified staff at Sentara Therapy Center!! Here you will also have the opportunity to work with a different therapist each visit and I love this concept!!! I get to meet everyone, establish relationships, and make new friends. I truly look forward to my physical therapy sessions, because I know the staff will take good care of me...they're professional, knowledgeable, and kind hearted - and after 2 surgeries, they're like my extended family now......therefore I highly recommend Sentara Therapy Center for any service or treatment you may need.

Mr. Stoner was an amazing driving instructor, on the very first day he let my partner and I know that we were going to have fun learning how to drive, but of course stay safe while doing so and we did just that. If you’re going to go to any driving school let it be perceptions driving school.
My daughter was nervous to begin driving, Mr. Wayne helped to settle some of her nerves and she learned more while under his instruction.It was a great experience for her.
While my previous review was accurate, I wanted to reevaluate my review. I am an almost 40 year old first time driver. It took me some time to get someone to help me but I'll tell ya I'm glad I held out for Fuhrmann. I was nervous going into it but my instructor was very calm and helpful while driving. I feel super confident that upon finishing the behind the wheel sessions I will be a great driver. Ty so much for going out of your way to help me!
