It's called Gentlemen's Quarters but it offers salon, barber, nails, brows, and services for women too. I've been going for 15 years to get my eyebrows waxed by the incomparable Touria. She is masterful in her craft, taking time and precision for every brow sculpting. You'll feel like you had a rejuvinating facial. This is a great place with great service.

Absolutely fantastic professionals to work with! I did a bridal package and teeth whitening with them and looked amazing for my wedding. My spray tan artist was AMAZING! She completely understood what I meant by “winter glow” and, while I wanted color, I didn’t want to be unnaturally dark for February. We adjusted after the trial and the final one was perfection! This was my only spray tanning experience and I will be back again!

I had almost given up on finding a favorite nail salon until I tried this beautiful, spacious and very clean salon located conveniently in Del Ray. The owners, Coco and Andy, were pleasant and friendly and took great care of me despite the salon being busy. Coco gave me a nicely detailed powder dip and I also had a relaxing spa pedicure. I will definitely be back!
Went there first time today for dipping powder manicure. It's clean. Staff are nice. Price is affordable. It's also my first time to try dipping powder and I picked the glittering colors. Soon I realize it might not look good on my natural short nails cuz the glitters build up a small thick layer on my nails even for only two dips. But the staff tried her best to make it looks nice. The result is actually cute. However, they are using electric cuticle file and when she's trimming my cuticle it hurts a bit and I had small bleeds. She said my skin is too dry. It is true I should use hand cream more I have hangnail also given the fact she's trying so hard I feel it's fine. She ended up clean the edges really well. But I think maybe they can apply some cuticle remover to soft it up before filling.

I've been following my nail tech Mark for some years now. I'm new to this location but I will go where ever my nail tech goes. lol I love having Mark as my nail tech, not only does he execute designs and shapes flawlessly, but he's very friendly, welcoming and understanding. I started going to Mark back in 2020 and we've been locked in ever since. As for the location Deluxe Nails Lounge has a relaxing ambiance and the noice level is low which I love as well.
First visit, called and asked for appointment with the Manager, I was speaking with Katie. I asked her for prices for the services I wanted before I went.. I asked for Gel polish but decided to get clear polish instead. I only called one shop so unless I didn't hear correctly the price went up 5 dollars more. Any additional service charges I'd recommend letting customers know before service.

A hidden gem in Old Town Alexandria, Aida’s spa is hands down the best place for waxing. Aida is professional, friendly, and treats every client with care for a personalized experience. I trust her services and feel comfortable with the process. The studio is also very cozy and clean. She uses both traditional wax and a natural sugar wax, which she rolls over the skin to make sure all the hair is removed. My skin felt baby soft and smooth after using this technique. Highly recommend for all skin and hair types. I will return again because I believe she's an artist in her work.

I booked for my sister and my daughter (11 years old) to have auntie and me time as my sister lives in Europe. When I picked them up from the Spa, they raved about it and spoke about how they loved this place! They said the staff was wonderful and kind, the food/ drinks were awesome! It has been such a better experience than the lash studios I used to jump between.For one, the lashes are excellent quality and Shanna customizes your look and, for me, does amazing natural full sets. My old lash spots used poor quality lashes and glue that bothered my sensitive skin and did not last long.Also, the space is so relaxing and clean - I immediately decompress when I step inside for my lash appointment. The staff is incredibly professional - Shanna is so kind and truly cares about her clients and their satisfaction. I got my first tattoo last week with Angie. I was a little nervous about healing because of an auto-immune suppressant but she was impressive in how clean and detailed she was for me and my fiance. I am now going to get one with her at the end of the month and anytime I probably need one I'll be making an appointment with her.

Not your usual tattoo shop. From the minute you walk in for your first session, you're treated like family. There's an artist for every style tattoo you can imagine. I've been going there for about two years now, and even when I run out of space for tattoos, I'll still make the trip over to hang out with everyone. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
First off, MST is super responsive to emails and their Instagram messages, where other shops sometimes are not.
I've had two tattoos with Faka, a few years apart, and both experiences were great. I love the feel of the shop - they have a huge door they open on nice days and it's bright and airy in there.
Faka is super attentive to the ideas you have in your brain while also considering the location and actual execution of them to ensure it looks right on your body. They also offer touch ups within a certain time period to make sure you love your piece.
My first one was on my back and pretty easy to sit through, but my second one was on my ribs and required a few quick breaks. Faka was super understanding.
My rib piece was a sentimental one and Faka focused on keeping the nature of my pop's handwriting true to his style. Thanks so much, I'll always recommend MST to my friends!

I can not say enough good things about how helpful and knowledgeable Calvin was. My backyard was flooding as well as three of my neighbors from my sump pump going off excessively. I had the County come out to check for a water main leak and they said no leak. So I got some quotes for very expensive drainage projects. I am very happy I decided to get one more quote from Willway. Despite what the county said, Calvin was able to quickly diagnose that the problem was in fact a problem on the county's side by looking at my water meter and draining the water in it to find the leak. And then even wrote up a $0 invoice with the explanation that I could use to prove the problem was on the county's side. I didn't end up getting a quote or needing his services, but they will definitely be my go-to plumber in the future.

I've used the Irish Plumber many times and they've always been great. They're quick to respond to inquiries and quick to come out for urgent situations. The guys are always polite and knowledgeable and fully fix whatever issue I may be having. The one time I called them out for non-emergency service (faucet replacement) they charged me half the price of the other company that I had gotten a quote from, so expect for emergency services they are also priced better than their competition. I will continue calling them for all of my plumbing needs.
Brian Overstreet and his team were extremely helpful when I came across an unfortunate situation. I bought a house with an existing leak in the main water line unknowingly. Receiving my first water bill is what lead to me investigating and determining it is likely the main water line. The issue was dealt with promptly and communication was great throughout the whole process. Brian spent a lot of time educating me and explaining the process to me over the phone and in person on the day of service. I felt completely trusting of him and his team and hope to use them for any and all plumbing issues I have going forward. They had some extra dirt leftover from excavating the site by the water meter and went out of their way to fix a part of my side yard that has had draining issues due to how it slopes towards the house. I am very pleased with the work done at my house. Olvin Hernandez discovered the source of the burning smell I had been experiencing. He tracked it to melting insulation wire coming into my panel box. They came out and fixed it as soon as they got the permit. I no longer have to worry about that causong a fire.

I worked with Greg at Allegro on a few small projects throughout my house--fixing grounding issues on a few outlets, installing a new closet light, fixing outlets for overhead lights/fan, and installing a new bathroom fan. My experience with Omar for area rug cleaning was excellent. After some research, and seeing so many bad reviews for other companies, I decided to try Omar’s rug cleaning. He was quick to respond and communicate throughout the process. It was easy to schedule the free of charge at home rug pick up. And my rugs were cleaned much faster than I thought they would be. But more importantly, Omar was knowledgeable about rugs and provided helpful information about how they would clean them and how I can take care of them going forward. The Maids came to my home for the first time and worked hard and efficiently. The team of three worked over 2 1/2 hours. The home is over 60 years old and has never been as clean as it is today. I am beyond thrilled with Arlandria Floors. My original plan was to replace parquet flooring in a condo I'd just bought, but realized it would be more economical and environmentally responsible to refinish them. After getting estimates from a few places, I chose Arlandria Floors based on how detail oriented they were when we walked through the job and their professionalism. Raymond spent a lot of time with me going through options and ideas and recommendations. They weren't the cheapest, but neither were they much more expensive than the least expensive option. It was the right choice--Hector and his crew finished in 2.5 days and left the place cleaner than when they started. No dust, no mess at all. They warned me that I might have to touch up the baseboards after sanding, but they were so careful and precise that it's not necessary. The photos show before/after of the stairs, and the contrast between the dark old stain and the lovely natural color uncovered after sanding. I now love the parquet that's original to the house. Highly recommend.

It was an very reasonable price and the installation was quick and efficient. At that time I mentioned how much I liked the rug hanging in the wall behind his desk. Genaro's Remodeling and Repair is the best in the business. We have an older home, with much woodwork to repair, like sills and door frames. Genaro and his team handled it all with ease. They repaired all of the wood issues, replaced 60 year-old windows as needed, completely reinstalled our patio to re-level and refit to allow for tree roots, and painted the entire exterior. I needed a termite inspection prior to selling our house, however, our closing date was unexpectedly moved up. I contacted Lopez Tree Services to remove a large dying Elm Tree in our backyard. Mr. Lopez and his team of tree climbers were very caring of our property, quick to take down the tree, and cleaned up as if they were never here. Great company, called one day and they were out here the next day to remove 4 trees. They were prompt and showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job of removing the trees and cleaning up all the debris and leaving the place looking like they weren't even there. And price wise, they are very reasonable and easy to work with. Can't say enough good things about them.
We just had two large oaks and a smaller pine pruned of dead branches by Gusman Tree Services and our neighbor had even more extensive work performed by them including the removal of a few smaller trees. They did an excellent job for both of us and their prices were very reasonable. They were careful and neat and avoided damaging many surrounding plants. We will definitely be hiring them again for future tree work.

I do wish that I had known more about the cost of my dental work as I quickly used all my dental benefits for the year in just over a month. Full payment is required at the time of service and they do not have a payment plan. I wish that I had known how much the work would cost in advance.

The clinic has very flexible schedules so it’s very accommodating to a 8-5p M-F working person. The staff is always very friendly & helpful. The clinic is very clean. You are always seen promptly! The TENS unit & heating pads are wonderful to get muscles warmed up & relaxed so Dr. Bodnar can do his magic heading! I’ve also seen his partner Dr. Yi when he’s been on vacation and the schedules were very accommodating as well! Totally recommend Dr. Yi as well. Overall great experience!
I have been very pleased with the multiple treatments that I have received from Dr. David Capps. He has always effectively and efficiently helped me recover quickly.
The initial consultation lasts about two hours and Dr. A does a full physical to see how your body is working with itself.
You’ll get adjusted accordingly and walk away feeling great.
I highly recommend seeing Dr. A if you’d like to know how your body is performing and what you need to do to make those aches and pains go away.

I bartend, so my body is always tweaked in awkward positions.

I want to share my experience with Dr. Ramin (male). I had an accident on Mother's Day. My whole family was going to celebrate, my 2 children, my brother-in-law with his daughter and his wife, and my friend with her daughter, in an SUV. in 495, the first day I didn’t feel so bad but the next day I couldn’t move my neck and it hurt a lot to do daily activities like: combing my hair, bending over or running, after this I was desperate, I found your clinic on google map, and I think it was a blessing to have found you since you took me step by step so that we would feel much better. First we kept appointments 3 times a week at first it was very painful but at the same time very satisfying, as we went to each therapy we felt better mobility in our body and neck, I loved it when I cracked my bones because it is a sensation of pain but at the same time relief that I can only describe with one word “it feels delicious” here he recommended a good lawyer for our case, which has been a very successful process. With my family we are much better.

Her staff is very pleasant as well. I was having pain in my low back that was progressively getting worse. It was very easy to set up an initial assessment and Dr. Suleman was able to quickly assess my problem and come up with an all encompassing treatment plan. Within a few months my back is feeling much better and I am 100% back to my previous activities at work and exercising. Dr. Jameeka is very thorough on her examinations, she re-assures + comforts you. I am currently seeing her for hair loss and she has certainly made a difference in treatment. An amazing experience. We used this vet to put our 15yr old lab mix to sleep. They were nearly half the price of every other vet we called, and the staff was absolutely fabulous. They provided him with a tray of snacks for his "last meal" and they were incredibly compassionate. If you need to give your pet a peaceful end, then I highly recommend EMMA Vet.
I followed Dr Fanton here from her previous practice. She has watched over my senior dog for his last years and was always caring and understanding. She was never pushy about expensive tests, procedures, or medications and even gave me cheaper alternative options. Other vets felt like they saw my senior dog as a cash cow and would push for test after test draining my wallet. My dog Kirby lived a long life until 15 years old thanks to Dr Fanton. When I decide to get another dog, I will definitely take him/her to Kingsview with Dr Fanton.
We have been coming to Elpaw for 3 years now because of their quality of care for my girls. The Front Desk staff have always been friendly and super helpful. I am able to request an appointment and usually get an email or call the very next day. Dr. Yungk has gone above and beyond, with having gotten us through multiple health issues for both dogs. She continues to really listen to our concerns each visit alongside showing such love to them.
They are very professional and kind every time I have gone in. Unfortunately, my cat my cat passed away but they were extremely fast in seeing him and very patient and kind when talking to me about what was going on with him. I would definitely recommend them and would definitely go back if we get another cat in the future. I couldn't thank Dr. Mosoriak and the staff for helping me with a tough decision.

I boarded my dog there for 2 weeks and he seemed happy when I picked him up. They were responsive to my nervousness and needs about boarding him for the first time. They also sent me photos during his stay.

Super convenient location. Reasonable pricing for self service. I know this is a ridiculous observation since it is a dog wash but the place was completely covered in fur! It was floating in the air everywhere. There was no escaping it because aeveral big fluffy pooches were being dried as I was bathing my pup. I needed a shower afterward to get rid of my new fur coat. ?

Tried out this studio as a part of class pass, and absolutely loved it! I feel like any level of yoga could be practiced at the class I went to (beginner, moderate, advanced) - because the instructor offered modifications to make the poses both easier and more challenging if needed. I also loved the warm, clean, inviting vibe of the studio. Will absolutely return to try out more classes!
Incredible class! I highly recommend Sophia Howard's evening class. You can take it online, and Sophia is a very personable instructor that checks in with everyone and has a wealth of knowledge about yoga ,making them a great person for questions, targeting problem areas, and learning more about yoga as a whole.
My cousin and I attended the 30 minute introductory class with Carissa. She was so kind and patient and walked to each of us to make sure we positioned our bodies correctly. After the class, my cousin and I signed up for the 4 classes/month package. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to attend more classes!

I had previously tried out a lagree class in California after going to pilates for a while thinking it would be cake. It was not. After I moved to Alexandria, I decided I would try out solidcore and it did not disappoint. The workouts are absolute torture, but in a good way. I'm getting my butt kicked for 50 minutes and questioning my life decisions, but I leave feeling sore and amazing. I will definitely continue taking classes here. Fortunately, I have never had a hard time with booking classes and the instructors have all been awesome and good with making corrections to help me.
Thiti was fabulous! She was friendly, personable, and provided an amazing hot stone massage. I love the privacy and location of the salon as it was very easy to get to with onsite parking. I will definitely be returning back for another treatment!

I started acupuncture treatments at Acupuncture in Del Ray about two years ago. I was skeptical about its benefits, but it seemed reasonable to try, as I was suffering persistent inflammation in a twice-operated joint. Within a couple of months of treatment - several weekly treatments followed by once-a-month visits - the inflammation had greatly subsided and my range of motion increased with less pain. I have kept up the treatments, which have helped me with a number of other nagging (though minor) health issues. I think now there is really something to acupuncture; if only our insurance industry would consider it worthwhile.
Lisa is knowledgeable and personable. She has always worked with me as a person and been willing to discuss health practices that can help with the benefits I am receiving from acupuncture. I am happy to have found Acupuncture in Del Ray.

Originally went to see Peter Liebenthal for general well-being and some specific gut issues. His intake was extremely thorough and he is a great listener and practitioner. I continue to see him because I'm a firm believer in Acupuncture as well as the mind/body connection. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.
I've been going there since 2017 or 18. That should be enough to compliment the work that's done. Only few times I might had tough experience in not being heard to get help in the room, being uncomfortable with the position I am laying in or a needle that's irritating.
Only things that would help is to have frequent checks on the patient to ensure they are comfortable.

As an adult driver, Pola Driving School was everything I hoped it would be; my instructor, Gabriel, was fantastic and always did a great job with making me feel comfortable in the car, despite my nerves. At the same time, he pointed out and helped me work through my mistakes, so I knew I was learning the right way. Communication with their office was always clear and prompt as well. I can't recommend them enough!
