“We had a clogged sewage line that was causing a back up into bath tubs and so forth. I did a little online research that lead me to believe that the clog may have been due to a broken sewage line. I called several plumbers in the area to see if any had camera that they could run up the line to check for breaks as well as clearing the line. After speaking to a few plumbers that did not have the time or the proper equipment one of them recommended another plumber name Ricky and gave me his number. I gave him a call and he was able to be out that day to clear the line and scope the line. I was surprised that he serviced my area as I live in Buda and they office out of Round Rock. When Ricky arrived he worked at clearing the line and got the water flow going again. Once he scoped the line he was able to determine that the break was 26’ under my slab, news I was not really wanting but was possibly expecting. Once he got back to the office and was able to get a pricing and so forth together he got back with me and got moving on the repair. While it was only supposed to take a few days to get the job complete it turned into more in-depth job than originally assumed through no fault on their end. They worked diligently to get to the break as they had to trench under my home to get to the break and then to get it repaired. JJ came out to the job to see how it was going and to touch base with me, he made sure that we were taken care of through the entire process and when the job took longer than expected he went above and beyond with making sure to assist with hotel accommodations. I can not recommend this company enough, they are fantastic and are our plumbing company from now on. If you need plumbing or AC help call this company. Thank you Ricky and JJ.“

Expanded We began using PT Maintenance about a year and a half ago after one of our A/C units went south - immediately after a routine check-up by a different service company. Although it initially looked like a system replacement was in order, Pete identified the actual problem which was relatively inexpensive. He saved us a large expense at a very inconvenient time. He also told us then that our systems were well past their expected lifespan and would probably start failing before long. We already suspected as much since they were original to the house. A few weeks ago, the day came to finally replace them. We compared estimates on full system replacements and, again, went with Pete and PT Maintenance. They never tried to steer us toward anything that wasn't needed or necessary for our situation. They were able to schedule the work much quicker than expected. Pete and his crew were at our house with the equipment first thing that morning. By that afternoon, they had replaced and tested both HVAC systems (with upgraded filtering and new wifi thermostats), broken down the shipping materials and hauled off our old system. While a minor issue did arise afterwards, Pete was quickly in contact with a partner and, together, they were able to resolve the problem and professionally address other questions to calm any lingering concerns. “I recently had my Lennox evaporator coil fail after 4 1/2 years and I was referred to Epic Mechanical by a family member. I can not say enough wonderful things about this company that came out and gave me the best estimate over the other companies I spoke to. TJ & Daniel quickly addressed the issue and suggested that I not replace the coil with another Lennox product since their coils fail constantly. They suggested another brand that has a 10-year warranty. Daniel arrived on time and had our AC up and running in no time. This time of year there can be issues with residential AC systems and I recommend you call Epic first! Fantastic company!!!!“

I got several quotes from different outfits from this area. I went with Mike's AC & Heating. His price was reasonable and affordable for me.I made a wise decision . Mike finished the job in about 6 hours. He had to climb upstairs many times to get to the furnace. He never let up and never looked out of energy.
