Every time I go to have my annual examination every member of the Brookside optometric team, including the optometrists... Are all spectacular! The office is always Professional, from making the appointment, to appointment reminders, to the friendly attitude at the front desk during check-in, the professionalism of the ancillary staff throughout the process, checking the eyes with the various gizmos, prior to seeing the optometrist.“

“I've been coming to Downtown Optometry for 10+ years for glasses. Surprisingly the same caring and professional staff still remembered my face after 4 years not going (moved out of town). All my Appointments go very smooth and time effective. This Dr Benkle office is located in the heart of Downtown Stockton and is very busy. But still I never felt rushed or hurried. Dr was always kind and thorough during my eye exams. So many options of frames and during the covid pandemic they would sanitize the frames after someone touched them. Im always so unsure when it comes to a new pair. I thank the staff for being so patient. I think I tried on 50 different frames. Thank you ladies. They were knowledgeable in which frame would fit my face shape. Narrowed my search to 2 pairs out of hundreds. The lady even advised that the frames I wanted would be alot heavier w/ my lenses in it. I still got them. I wish I would have listened to her . This year finally broke down and decided to order contacts lenses as well as my frames. The staff was there to make sure I knew how to use contacts before even letting me leave the office. They had so many Colors to try and fitted me w/ my 1st pair of prescription contacts the same day. Was able to keep the fitted pair w/ solution and storage case. Waited a week for 6 pairs to come. (1 box color 1 box clear.) FYI color contacts are a little more $.UPDATE DEC 2023. I was recently involved in a horrible automobile accident and glasses were flown off my head, I was pulled from my burning car but my glasses were gone in the fire. Called the office after some weeks and explained what happened. They said thank goodness im alive and to come into the office sign a paper for my insurance and also advised me the time frame my replacements glasses should be ready.CONs are the price for contacts/ consult and fitting were a little pricy, $360. But after that to order a new box is $100 or $130 color.There located next to a school and parking is slim especially when students are being released, look forward to parking a few blocks down and walking.Not accepting new patients right now. And also theAppointments are made months out. No sooner than 2 months.“

“First time to All-City Optometry and I have to share my wonderful experience with Dr. Ho. I'm 57 years old and have been wearing glasses and seeing eye doctors all my adult life. Dr Ho is the best eye doctor I have ever visited! He spent a long time with me doing a thorough exam, and most importantly explained everything to me. This allowed me to fully understand the why and how to prevent some issues. He found out why my eyes are dry which no other doctor could figure out for over a decade. Such a professional doctor, I was beyond impressed. I came in early morning, so the office wasn't full of patients yet, so I did get kindly greeted by all the front staff who were so welcoming and friendly. What a wonderful referral from Great Spectacles eye glasses shop in Stockton! They did their research and found the best.“
