I've been coming to Downtown Optometry for 10+ years for glasses. Surprisingly the same caring and professional staff still remembered my face after 4 years not going (moved out of town). All my Appointments go very smooth and time effective. This Dr Benkle office is located in the heart of Downtown Stockton and is very busy. But still I never felt rushed or hurried. Dr was always kind and thorough during my eye exams. So many options of frames and during the covid pandemic they would sanitize the frames after someone touched them. I have been here since my medi-cal days and now coming without medi-cal as I'm older. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The doctor himself makes the place the best place! His staff is also amazing! They do everything they can do to help you.

The doctors are nice as well as the receptionist. I have been going here since I was 9 years old and have never changed my doctor. They have a great frame selection which I absolutely love. I got Versace frames and the price was VERY reasonably fair.
