“Palo Alto fitness is the perfect place to kickstart your journey on becoming more active and focused on your fitness goals. I had worked with one of the personal trainers in the industry, Kirby who is real passionate about fitness and is an experienced athlete who loves to give back and help others to reach their goals. Palo Alto fitness had struck gold with Kirby!“
“I love transform fitness! The workouts are challenging but you can feel the difference in your core strength as you take more classes. Kat is the best instructor at Transform because she helps every person in the class tailor the workout to their level while giving helpful cues to do the exercises properly.“
“I trained with Keiller for over 2 years and have nothing but positive things to say about this gym and the team here. Keiller is really knowledgeable and encouraging and gave me the tools I needed to run a half marathon injury free and make strength training part of my routine. Can't recommend this gym enough!!“
“The team at Paragon is the best. Real results for strength, nutrition, performance. Whatever you want. They believe in you and get you there.“
“I've had a great experience training with Laila. She is very professional and great at catching and fixing the little things in my workout form, making sure everything is safe and as effective as possible. Her encouraging demeanor makes each session enjoyable and motivating. She also puts together workout plan that fits exactly what I need and helps me hit my long-term goals. Totally recommend if you’re looking to up your fitness game.“
“I’ve been to other OTF studios and this is one of the best out there. The front desk staff and manager are amazing. The coaches are wonderful and not overbearing. So glad I found this studio in the Bay Area.“
“My experience with Matty at More Than Fitness PT has been great! I started several months ago with the goal of increasing muscle and strength in a safe and injury-free manner. As a woman in her 50's with previous injuries, that's no small order. But Matty has delivered! He even makes it fun, or as fun as it can be, I should say. I honestly feel stronger and am so happy that I took the plunge and called Matty. He set me up with an assessment and from there I purchased 5 training sessions. I had been working out at 24 Hour Fitness on my own for months but not seeing any real improvement. Matty makes it easy for me to stay motivated and to keep getting stronger.“
“Starting out or getting back into working out can feel pretty overwhelming. But, this studio? It's a game changer. Candy knows her stuff and has a way of making personal training feel super approachable. I won't lie, I was really intimidated when I first walked in, it'd been forever since I'd done any real exercise. But a few months down the line, I'm stronger and actually look forward to my workouts. Also, 30 minutes might not sound like much, but you'll definitely feel it afterwards. If you’re hesitating, I’d say just try personal training with Candy for one month. It’s worth it!“
“Erron is great! I’ve been working out with him for a while now and have definitely seen a lot of progress. He’s very flexible with how I like to structure my sessions and always finds ways to keep our workouts interesting.“
“After an ankle surgery, I was in and out of PT for 3 years. My symptoms would improve, and then heavy use would make my ankle flare up again. Frustrated with this lack of progress, I turned to Ming. Ming showed me how addressing fundamental whole-body biomechanics creates huge differences in how I move and feel; reprogramming how my pelvis moves has made my ankle hurt way less, and also addressed lower back pain that PTs always wanted to treat separately. I cannot recommend strongly enough working with Ming if you've been dissatisfied by other more localized approaches to your body!“
“I had never had personal training, but I needed to do something different after a couple years behind a desk. Hitting the gym in isolation was sounding tedious, and was too easy to put off.Even after 15 sessions, I am noticing a huge different in my body, flexibility, and energy levels. Aside from being a great guy, Max has a vast portfolio of exercises, stretches, rolls, and cardio to pull from. He tailors every session and constantly introduces me to movements I have never done before. The result is a super engaging workout, with a ton of compound movements mixed with new variations on conventional exercises, and a very holistic approach to balance, stability, and health. I plan to continue working with Max, but a lot of what he is teaching me will stick with me for the rest of my life.Very highly recommended.“
“I trained more than a year at the Perfect Workout, San Jose. I am delighted. I had a few trainers over the time and they were all excellent. I feel healthier and stronger. Planning to continue for the foreseeable future!“
“Simply great staff and classes! Steve and Tiffany are the best. I attended the cardio classes on Mon and Wed, I feel refreshed after the workout. The staff are encouraging and class is well paced.“
“Chiropractor Dr. Drew is awesome. He is really knowledgeable and helped me eliminate the frequent headaches/migranes I was dealing with. Highly recommended him!“
“I've always been athletic and have been working out consistently since the age of 15. But recently I got to a point where I really wanted to change things up a bit, and challenge myself. A friend had high praises for Dowling Fitness, so I decided to see what it was all about. Once I shared my goals and how important it was to change things up, Kevin came up with a plan that ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The UFC oriented workout routine was just the "kick in the butt", change of pace that I needed! It was amazing! I highly recommend going with Dowling Fitness. You'll be glad you did!“
“I’ve seen Raheem for over a decade. I’m in the best shape of my life at 41 years old. When I started my fitness journey with the goal of being able to do everything my friend group did without dragging them down. Today I’m the one to keep up with.“
“I've been training with Lanthony for a little over nine months now and have seen an amazing transformation over that time span. This is my first time body building and hitting the gym regularly to lift weights. Lanthony made sure I understood the equipment, exercises and he played close attention to my form throughout. He was able to provide a challenging workout while working around existing injuries. Lanthony is bringing the energy, dedication and passion for his craft every session and is keeping me motivated throughout.“
“I completed my 12 week transformation about a month ago and it was excellent! Not only did I lose 24 pounds, my trainer Stephanie has helped me to rehab from several injuries including a bad turned ankle, a wonky shoulder, and a sciatic/hip strain. Her level of care and attention is something I've never felt before and it's special. Michael, Charles, and the other trainers also offer this detailed level of care and everyone's attitude is so encouraging. I am walking taller, with more ease, comfort, and confidence than ever before. Thank you, Stephanie, and thank you, Michael and Training Space!“
“Had a taster session and it was extraordinary. I usually work out on Nautilus and universal gym with a trainer. This session pushed me in a fresh and really fast way. - I was in and out in 22 minutes! Going back for more! Thanks Perfect Workout Menlo Park!“
“Dina really keeps me on my toes and on track to reach my goals. My #1 goal is to never be a "little old lady", no matter what my age. The sessions are just the right length of time and I am already feeling stronger, more flexible and more fit.“
“Let me preface anything I say here with the fact that I am neither a natural athlete, nor have I ever liked working out. With that said, the Tosetti team has somehow gotten me to a point in my life where I can’t imagine a life NOT doing squats, punching bags, wrestling, and swinging swords. It’s probably high time I left a review, since I’ve been going here since September 2018.Fitness classes are like a giant game of “Simon Says.” Coach Melissa and Coach Geralyn are amazing, and some of the warmest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Their patience and encouragement when I started these classes went a long way to bolster my confidence. Again, I’ve never liked working out, so I also had no idea what I was doing, and being told what to do did me a whole lot of good. They were happy to start me off with baby steps and add challenges as I progressed, and are always ready to show you alternatives if you have certain limitations, such as joint issues.Wrestling classes—when I say I knew nothing about working out, I knew even less about wrestling. I actually started these classes because of the sword classes (that’s a long story). Coach Paul officially teaches these (with the occasional supervised wrestling sessions from… another Paul), and has somehow shown me, at 5’4’’, how to throw people who tower over me. The classes tend to be a mix of all levels of experience and weight classes, and Coach Paul will often cater his lesson that day to the needs of the class demographic. It’s a whole lot of fun.Lastly, sword classes are what I joined Tosetti Institute for (and since I joined, they’ve added a polearms class to the weapons repertoire). These are not the kind of sword fighting classes that usually come to mind in the modern era, such as the foil fencing you see in the Olympics. We’re talking historical martial arts here, with swords in a variety of sizes and styles—and Coach Paul definitely emphasizes the martial part of the art. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. He draws form historical texts, but he’s a fighter first and foremost, and that’s what I think really sets his teaching off from other historical fencing schools—if you want to learn how to fight, he will teach you how to fight. I’m going to do a bit of bragging here, but some of our sword fighters are competition-winners (I’m not among them—I’m actually mediocre at best, but I love being able to learn from these awesome people).Really, I could go on and on about how much I love Tosetti Institute, and the people there. This was unfortunately the shortest I could keep this review while doing them any sort of justice, and it’s only an inkling of how much I love this place. Even sadder is the fact that I’ll be moving out of the area in the spring/ summer—of all the things in the SF Bay Area, Tosetti Institute and the people I’ve met there are what I will miss the most, and I don’t think I’ll ever find their equal.“
“Probably one of the best trainers I ever been to in San Jose. I’ve gone to many who never understood my fitness goals and Rojin broke it down from the diet to the plan of action and then even took the time to follow up with me on my off days to make sure I was sticking to our 4 month plan. She knows what she’s doing and she helped me gain a total of 16 pounds when my initial goal was 8. Doubled my weight. Quadrupled the time I would be in the gym, and the investment came back tenfold. I would 1000% recommend Rojin to anyone who’s looking to start there fitness journey or even pursue it and take it even more serious. Beyond grateful for her, thank you so much always Rojin ????????“
“Frederick has been my trainer for many years, but I don't think I have ever had the same workout. He is a great motivator and is consistently working on getting you toward your goal.“
“My daughter went to Aikido at Fremont Aikido Club which is a nonprofit organization. My daughter loved this being there. She loved her classes. She is so eager to got here every-time and come home to show what she has learned that day. It is so nice to see how the instructors inspire and teach and let the kids grow. Great place to learn.“
“My wife and I have been working with Jason for years and we truly cannot say enough good things about him. He has everything you want in a trainer: professionalism; unparalleled expertise on all things health and wellness related; and a kind, friendly approach that will appeal to anyone. He knows just how hard to push you so you are always advancing, but not so much that you risk injuries, or become too intimidated to continue. He is open-minded, creative, and collaborative. For people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, know that he helped train my wife throughout her pregnancy and afterwards. Without a doubt, he is the reason that my wife was able to follow her own birth plan-the doctor was skeptical that she would be able to deliver without a C-section given the size of our baby and because she had spent 2 days in labor before beginning to push. But Jason had helped prepare her-both her core and her stamina-and she was able to deliver our kid safely in under 2 hours. The doctor called her the 'best pusher' she's ever seen-and that is because of Jason. In other words, he is perfect. Jason is also just a funny, smart, and interesting guy to be around-we have enjoyed not just working with him, but becoming his friend. We trust him with our life, and you will, too.“
