“There was leakage in our double pane windows. They looked milky, cloudy and dirty, but we couldn't clean in between the panes. We interviewed a number of window companies None were as good as Frank at Rosegold Builders. He came out to our house, was very polite and professional, measured 7 windows and sent us a proposal that night! Because the other estimators did not respond for weeks, we accepted Frank's proposal right away. We wanted our windows in before winter storms! The windows were delivered in 4 weeks!Javier and his son, Nestor, worked seamlessly. They were very organized and neat and they respected homeowner and property. The windows were perfectly installed and look beautiful!!! When Javier and Nestor were done, they cleaned up, and not a speck of dirt or debris was left behind. The job was done in one day and a half, and they returned the next working day to pick up the old windows for disposal as promised! We are so happy with our new windows!!!“

“When we purchased this house almost 5 years ago i loved the kitchen!! It was so large compred to our last home. The bathrooms,on the other hand, were not so much to love. The showers were only 2-3 feet of space, dark and uncomfortable to shower in. Hardly any vanity space and the places the toilets were, were well, not the most spacious. We knew eventually we would have to renovate the bathrooms. Well, when we met Yaniv, we hired Shefer Builders to redo our roof. I could tell instantly he was an extremely detailed person. This filters down to the staff. The entire staff!! Talking with Yaniv during the roof project, we decided to have the company redo our bathrooms. This included a 3D designer, and a mobile showroom that came to the house so I could choose all the fun stuff. Everyone is so nice and comfortable to talk to about design and pricing. In addition, the crew and foremans were very helpful in explaining what they were doing throughout the enire projects. As for the kitchen: we had a dishwasher go bad and it leaked water all over including out the back of the house!! Well....perfect time to have Shefer Builder renovate the kitchen!! What a continued blessing to have the crews come back again and help in such a fine way. I have always loved cooking and baking but even more so now with my beautifully desinged, perfectly crafted and functional kitchen!!They give so much attention to the little things I did not even notice! Exceptional quality from everyone!! The crews were hard working, fun and really made the process a joy to experience. We will definately be calling to use them for any further things we need beautified at our home!!“

“Bella Construction did some work for me in my backyard. There was a post supporting a roof beam that was obstructing our view. Patrick and team installed a new beam span and removed the post. They tied new posts into the existing home, and stucco'd the finish like it was always that way. Our view is completely unobstructed now, which has really enhanced our backyard.Most importantly, I found Patrick to be responsive, honest and fairly priced. His crews showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The project didn't drag on and was done in just a couple of days. Patrick also had to work with the County to pull the permit, which required a significant amount of back and forth. He made it seamless for me as the homeowner. I'll definitely do another project with Bella.“

The onsite team (JD & Josh) and all of their subcontractors (electrician, painters, countertop fabricator, backsplash tile person) have all exceeded our expectations. “Ershad remodeled the kitchen in our house and his team did an amazing job and we're extremely happy with the results - His team worked every day (including weekends) and got the job done in 20 days (although his contract said 6 weeks) - His team came into work on time every day at 830-9am and would work until 530-6pm - His team cleans up the job site at the end of each day (very important to me since we were living at home with a 2yo during this project) - His team replaced the drain pipes for my kitchen (old cast iron with new abs pipes) because of leaks/blockages at no additional cost - He is extremely considerate. “Juan and his crew did an amazing job with cutting our quartzite slab for our bathroom remodel. They provided us with excellent service and craftsmanship. We were able to meet with them at their shop, to show them exactly where on the slab we wanted them to cut. They made up a template for us during that process. They also did an excellent job with creating the holes for the faucet and levers. They also fixed an area in our kitchen sink where the granite had chipped from many years ago. “The Rise Group recently finished building a detached outdoor pergola for us with a full shingle California peak roof, pine tongue and groove ceiling, and redwood posts, privacy fence, and outdoor staircase. We are very pleased with the finished project.The construction took roughly four months, and prior to breaking ground Ryan and his engineering team were very helpful drafting and submitting the project's engineering plans for the required town and county approvals. Although completion of the project took longer than anticipated, we feel that every stage of the project received careful attention and we were eventually able to work out unexpected issues to our satisfaction. Ryan's framers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and painters did an excellent job and the end result shows the hard work and attention to detail that went into it. We would certainly recommend Ryan and his team for any similar engineering and build projects.“

“We did a full interior remodeling - knocked down one non-load-bearing wall, removed popcorn ceiling, installed recessed lighting throughout the house, and redid flooring, the kitchen, fireplace, and two bathrooms. Amir Levy is a great project manager. We talked to five different contractors to get estimates and what stood out about HQR was them turning around an official written up scope of work with pricing within 1 business day of seeing the house. All the other contractors we talked to either went much longer before giving us an official documented scope of work and/or were much more vague with the pricing. My husband and I are very detailed and wanted things in very specific ways so we always had a whole lot of questions and back-and-forth with Amir, who was patient through it all. We had some delays with our finished materials coming in so our overall time we interfaced with Amir spanned ~ 1 year and it was overall a positive experience working with him. A couple months after the job finished, we had a small issue with a hinge from the cabinet manufacturer and he helped expedite the resolution of the issue with the cabinet representative. Overall, we're very happy with our home remodel and thought that HQR was reasonably priced (not the most expensive but also not the cheapest).“

After getting a few bids, we chose Century Bay Builders based on their timeline, fair costs, and responsiveness. “*Exceptional customer service* We initially contacted valley home builders based on their amazing reviews and boy did they not disappoint disappoint! This all started when we decided to add an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) in our back yard to house my elderly parents. A quick internet search and Valley home builders came on top (for a reason!) We ended up calling them and connected with a gentleman that couldn't have been more knowledgeable on ADUs and city ordinance. He walked us through their ADU check list and sure enough my property qualified ( they also offered a free on site visit/consultation) unfortunately for us they don't serve San Francisco but that didn't stop them from helping us through the process. They talked to us about different designs and even shared some of the floor plans of their current projects as well as a general idea on pricing (we were clueless). They then proceeded to recommend some of their sub contractors that can help us on different phases of our project. We eventually ended up hiring a local builder in SF and even then I contacted them to confirm whether the quote we got was reasonable and they had no problem looking over the quote and giving us advice. It's hard to find an honest contractor that puts the customers needs first but I can tell you Valley home builders showed us that there is still hope! I am very glad we crossed paths and if we end up moving to the South Bay, I won't be hiring any other contractor.“
