“Steve is a general contractor, but he had a small spot in his busy schedule and we needed a deck built, so our landscaper recommended him. We built two additions on our house recently and Steve did the highest quality work of anyone on the project. Although it was a small deck, it had some angles, an angled step, patterned borders, and was made out of an unconventional bamboo resin material that was difficult to work with. Unlike many contractors that whine about new materials, Steve seemed to enjoy the challenge and got better and better at working with the materials as time went on. The original plan was to be mostly screwless except along two edges. However, Steve figured out how to go nearly 100% screwless. There must be less than a dozen screws in the whole deck. It's gorgeous. The boards are all perfectly aligned and the cuts around things like downspouts and thresholds are all seamless. Also unlike many contractors, he made several creative suggestions that we ended up following. He is a true artist. Had we known about him before we started our renovation, we would definitely had hired him to be a general contractor. If he does such meticulous work, I suspect others that work with him do too. As a final note, he left our job site so clean, you didn't even know he'd ever been there. Not a single screw or piece of wood anywhere. He even came back a day later and hosed off a farmer's market tent we loaned him so he could work while it was drizzling.“

“We're extremely happy with the results and service we got from Alliance Group Builders! We worked with JD who was very friendly, professional, and communicative. Our kitchen remodel included a complete demolition of our old cabinets and tile, the haul away of all that material, leveling our floors, new cabinet and countertop installation, new lights, plumbing for our new pot filler + ice maker, upgraded plumbing for our sink, a new backsplash, and painting. Everything from the build to the inspections went super smoothly.A few months back, we hired some contractors to do our bathroom flooring through Home Depot. The Home Depot contractors didn't listen to what we wanted and messed up on our floor too (quality was also terrible, but I'll save that for another review). That experience made me apprehensive to do other renovations around the house and to be honest, I was expecting to be stressed out from this kitchen remodel too, but JD took care of everything! He has great craftsmanship and made sure we were satisfied with the job. When we got our cabinets or other materials, he made sure to inspect everything before installation. After each work day, he and his guys would clean up and vacuum all the debris, let us know they were heading out, and update us on any significant progress. Near the end of the project, he even spent a couple days looking at small details to touch up on paint or trim work and asked us to point out anything we wanted fixed.
