“I took several hand-knotted carpets to Solak Rug Repair for professional cleaning - it was a mix of rugs that were purchased in Nepal, Pakistan, & Afghanistan, and all had been stored. They smelled musty. Solak Rug Repair returned the carpets in good shape, within a pretty short turn around. One had some moth damage on the end, and I didn't have much hope that I would be able to show it at home. Mehmet offered to fix it by removing the damaged end, then weaving it closed. The work was well done - it is smaller, but now I can lay it out for everyone to see. I am happy with all of the work. The icing on the cake - I thoroughly enjoyed talking with and learning from Mehmet about different kinds of carpets. Mehmet works from a solid technical and cultural understanding of how to clean and care for carpets. I can highly recommend Solak Rug Repair.“

I'm glad I could communicate like that and not have to talk on the phone. They sent me an update about when they would arrive and I could track where their vehicle was. They communicated about arrival well. They did a very thorough job and it was pretty quick. I was happy with the results. The couch doesn't smell anymore. The cleaning person was very friendly. I don't usually have people come to clean but I felt good about having my couch cleaned by this company. I was told the starting price and that it might go up, depending on the job. My dryer vent is difficult to access (third floor outside access and close quarters inside a bathroom wall) but they are always able to do the work. I also receive a regular customer discount which I appreciate.“

The job was no easy task; we needed our tile countertops completely removed and hauled away, and the cabinets prepped for a new countertop. Joe arrived promptly at the time he said he would and worked his butt of for four straight hours. At the end, there was far more rubbish to dispose of than anticipated, and he provided me with a very reasonable quote to have it hauled and disposed of.
