“I found Austin Alterations using Google Maps. I needed a sequined Marchesa gown hemmed for a Christmas party. Our son has been in Dell Children’s for several months and with him being priority, I was later than I should have been finding alterations assistance. I called Austin Alterations and spoke to the owner, Lisa, on a Thursday or a Friday. I expected to be told no way, not enough time. Lisa was so kind, accommodating and professional. She knows exactly what to ask about your preferences for a garment for. Lisa and her staff had my gown ready on the day of the party. I highly recommend Austin Alterations.“

“I have used Cathy's a few times for basic dry cleaning and once for a formal gown. They have always been able to provide next day pick up, complete the service as described and have competitive prices. A few times when I've had a very stained item, they have encouraged me to gently wash the garment at home first and then bring back if I had no luck (I'm not a fan of dry clean chemicals) and most times- I've been able to clean it myself. Overall I've been satisfied and would use them again.“

“I've consistently had great alternations and service with Cathy's Cleaners! They also have shorter turnaround times than a lot of area tailors which I appreciate. For example, I was sat on getting a bride maid's dress hemmed until a week before the wedding and they were able to do it in time when no one else could. I also had the zipper on my winter coat break days before I was traveling to Europe in February and they were able to fix it in two days before I left.“

“This is a true gem. The second I walked in I felt like family. Everyone is so warm. The tailoring work they did on my dresses was fantastic. A man answered the phone and recommended I come when his wife was there which I really appreciated because the tailoring I needed done was for sensitive areas. Their son was an absolute delight to talk to as well. No wonder this place has excellent reviews. If you look around there's pictures of famous people including presidents that have gotten their suits tailored here. I will never go anywhere else.“
