“Came here for an intro to Pilates class and had a calming and wonderful experience. Club Pilates offers free intro Pilates class for anyone who is interested in trying a class commitment free and to get more familiar about the Pilates practice. We were lead with basics and did moves utilizing our abs, legs, and arms. Though only 30 minutes, I got a good stretch and felt my core and legs work.Highly recommend this studio to try their intro class if you're looking to get familiar with the Pilates practice and the Pilates reformer machine.“

“This place is so amazing. I really love it here! I started going after I injured my knee and I was able to build muscle strength back. Since then, I've been to so many of the different classes with different instructors and I love them all. I frequent the flows, but have done the Powerformer courses in the past. The integration of the TRX bands and the Pilates tower adds really great variety to get great workouts and keep your body strong and flexible!“

“Tim is hands-down one of the most knowledgeable, gifted, and personable functional movement practitioners I've ever worked with. He has helped me and my family immeasurably with a variety of movement and body pain issues. We recommend him to everyone we can. And his dog Steve will also give you some love while you work.“

“If you're game for private or semi-private training, no matter your current fitness or experience level, you need to try Body Springs. I'd never done any Pilates before, but Vicki helped me truly fall in love with it. After a few months of working with her privately, supplemented by group classes, my entire body is feeling (& looking) SO much better that I don't think I could ever *stop* doing Pilates, even if I move away from Austin. Vicki is smart, thoughtful, attentive, professional, and experienced. More than that--her reputation precedes her among other Pilates instructors in Austin. Everyone knows she's one of the best, yet she's always humble & considerate. I'm so grateful that I found this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“I had a Feldenkrais session with Vivian Best and it was amazing. It was my first Feldenkrais session ever and I am so glad I had it with Vivian!- feel really relaxed like after a massage but also feel like I am inside my body and I feel like it’s capable- Look in the mirror and I don’t feel bad about feeling fat because I also feel inside my body and I can feel what it can do. All of it feels mine- It’s like I opened the window that I had shut because I didn’t want to feel the pain from my body but I also shut out all the good feelings or the information that it was trying to communicate with me that I needed to know- Vivian also has this curiosity about how your body works and this enthusiasm when you are able to really stretch it that helps me to look at my body the same way“

“Urban Lagree is one of the best work outs I have had in a long time! Beautiful studio, attentive and well trained instructors, and really creative movements that leave you feeling like you can’t wait to go back and get more at your next class! I was brand new and the owners both happened to be there…they were both so attentive in checking in with me and making sure I was practicing proper form as I learned. It’s the strength work out with major sweat and great music I have been needing in my life!!“

“I love this place and I'm so thankful that a place like this exists for adults. I've taken the tumbling, handstand and parkour classes but my go-to class is trampoline (which includes their trampwall). The vibe is super laid back and friendly. I've also had many great instructors - Roy, Dmitri and Eric to name a few. If you're worried about age then let that go - I will be turning 45 and just recently learned to backflip on the trampoline.“

“One of my favorite places to be in Austin! Every aspect is thoughtfully and beautifully done and the community and staff are wonderful. The classes are always a great balance of challenging and centering and the newly added sauna/cold plunge deck is the perfect addition!I visited Katie for acupuncture today and left feeling AMAZING. She’s very thorough and detailed and made me feel at ease and cared for throughout the appointment. I’ve also seen Amanda for a facial treatment and can’t wait to go back, she had me completely relaxed and I left with glowing skin. I can’t recommend this place enough!!“

“Zenergy Pilates is by far one of the best Pilates studios I have ever been to. The teachers are all comprehensively trained instructors with hours of continuing education under their belts. What is even more impressive is the personal attention they give to each and every one of their clients. They create thoughtful sessions and classes to meet the individual needs and goals of each of their clients. In addition they have created a warm and welcoming community. And best of all .....they make all your hard work seem like fun! You gotta go. You won't be disappointed.-Nancy Gwinnell Hurd- Peak Pilates® Master Instructor, Austin Pilates Barn Director“

“Omg amazing. Gundega's a great teacher, and I sweat soooo much!Everyone is so nice and kind! It's a little community of kindness and caring in a great big world of uncertainty and unhappiness.Gundega is always alive and happy, I'm sure she has bad days but she doesn't let it show.Gundega is the best Latvian  yoga teacher I have ever had. She is also the only Latvian yoga teacher I have ever had.My classmates are very kind and decent and we all try to care for one another. It's very nice. They put up with me and my bad sense of humor; I try to tone it down for everyone. Also, I try not to groan too much or pass too much gas. Some days I am better at that than other days. The yoga is pretty awesome and the soundtrack reminds me enough of George Harrison to keep my hippy mind from wandering too far away during class.Sometimes life is so hard, it's nice to have a place to go and empty your mind without judgement.Thank you Gundega. Thank you so much.“

“Best pilates in Austin, hands-down. I've been going for 9+ years -- they have expert instructors who are attentive to form and--because of their experience--will make sure to offer modifications for your body. Highly recommended Christi's classes, especially, but you can't go wrong. Support your local Pilates studio, and start with Reform!“

“This place is my addiction. I fell in love with the body transforming magic of the megaformer several years ago, back when i was living in LA. It was the worst kept secret - that all the models and actresses did it to get their best bodies - rapidly.I recall seeing dramatic changes to my body after the first 2 weeks, and the changes just kept going. There’s a reason they call it “sculpting” - that’s exactly what it does. With refined, gentle, fierce precision.I lived abroad for the last 3 years, was that there were no megaformer / Lagree studios anywhere i travelled. No matter what other workouts i did, i got injured, and My body slowly got mushy again. Not only is this workout low impact, it fixes injuries, by creating alignment and focusing on slow twitch muscles . It’s literally the only workout i will do anymoreThe moment i returned to the states, and moved to Austin, one of my top priorities was i looking for the best megaformer studio.I tried TLS ATX Global, Urban Lagree, and Solid Core, as well as Pure Pilates.Pure Pilates south lamar location stood out, hands down, as the best megaformer classes and teachers in town. I always get a great workout, the instructors give great cues, the studio is beautiful, and the machines are super sturdy. It’s been such a relief to watch my body transform again, getting long and lean and toned - the way only Lagree can transform it.This method improves posture, symmetry, strength, tone, and overall gracefulness. My core has never been so strong, my body awareness has become so microscopically focused and unified. Doing this workout, you really zoom in on the mind-body connection, because everything is in slow motion.I find it to be somatically therapeutic. After serval months of doing this nearly every day, I walk like i’m floating… when i dance it’s like flying, because my body mechanics are so seamlessly unified now,and i have such body awareness and control. It’s a miracle.During the workout, You use every single muscle, for every single exercise, in slow motion. It turns you from a bag of wiggling bones, to one long tube of interconnected strong muscle, from top to bottom. And best of all, it’s so much fun! Lagree is the first workout I’ve ever done where i love it so much that I crave it - it’s a joyful healthy addiction.with the megaformer, I never get injured, because it’s low impact. It’s gentle strength, (but the workout still makes football players struggle)I’m not even joking when i say one of the things that makes me not want to travel anymore is because i would miss my lagreeIf you’re questioning if you should give it a shot - let the big sis in me gently nudge you towards the best thing you’ve ever done for your body in your life!“

“Easy to book online but note the weekends get booked fast if you wait too long. I liked that the instructor introduced herself to me and helped me throughout class. I had looked a lot at the people next to me if I was lost. I know I will be sore because not use to doing this type of exercise. My main exercises are Muay Thai and running. Also they do offer military veteran discounts. I signed up for it online and took a few days to get verified.“

“I have done over 500 classes for a reason - I had loved the people and class options. However, the past year or so they only have new teachers so never challenging that many people have left. Many tenured customers have left and I’m afraid I’ll be next. Great for beginners I will say that! The tenured teachers and old front desk people are very nice. 5 stars if it was what it was a year ago. Still recommend for beginners!“
