I had a wonderful experience at Hairworks. As someone who has recovered from acute hair loss the past two years and has also experienced having my hair fried off by blonde highlights I had my reservations about balayage highlights and just colouring the hair period. Rouba took extra care to make sure my hair was highlighted to achieve the look I wanted but was also meticulous in making sure my hair didn’t suffer any damage during the treatment process. She checked on my foils multiple times to make sure my hair wasn’t being damaged underneath. That attention to detail made me feel comfortable and safe in her hands. To top it off, the actual results of the balayage was perfection. She is very good at her technique and has a great eye for colour shades. And it was my first blowout (curly hair) where my hair looked so soft and flowy. I’ve attached my before and after for reference. I had the best experience! This was my first time getting my hair dyed. I had an amazing experience at Daniela’s Salon with my stylist Mina. Mina is super sweet and knowledgeable with balayage and is really honest with what she thinks would look best on you. She did an amazing job with my hair I am extremely happy with the way it turned out. I gave her a reference of two photos and she integrated both hair tones in my hair. The other stylists are also very nice and make conversation with other clients as well. I would definitely recommend Daniela’s and will be coming back again! The only thing I would suggest at this salon is to have a television so clients can watch a show as we’re getting our hair done.

I’ve been getting my haircut here for the past 2 months, by Moe specifically. He’s very punctual, never keeps me waiting and always responds quickly when I reach out to make an appointment. He’s also very polite, and most importantly he gives a great haircut and shave, and is very efficient (haircut & shave is usually 30min or so). The shop itself is clean, has a great vibe to it and is super welcoming. I love this barber shop and you probably will too.

Visited Ryna’s nails spa today, and im so happy. The place is very welcoming and relaxing. Inside everything is clean and organize, not to mention the place smells good too. “LAN” who took care of my nails did what i expected. Excellent experience at Prelude salon. This was my first time at Prelude (I was recommended by a friend) and from the moment I stepped into the salon, everyone greeted me so warmly. I then met with my stylist Sam; she took the time to listen to me as I described what I wanted done with my hair, then took her time to achieve my style. She made sure to check-in with me along the way to ensure I was liking the cut. After I went home, I realized that I needed a touch-up on the layers, and Sam gladly welcomed me back within a few days to make the adjustments to my layers. She was gracious and kind the entire time. A truly warm and lovely person and also, my cut is fantastic!! I am really happy and I will be coming back soon!! I highly recommend this Salon!!

I LOVE going there. I go about every few weeks to a month, been going there for 6 months now. Not only is the doctor amazing, but so are the receptionists. They are always so nice, welcoming, and understanding. The doctor herself is also very considerate. She takes the time to listen to your problems, answers all your questions, and explains the reason behind everything she recommends—which really shows that she knows what she’s doing too. Followed up by a relaxing full body massage. The staff are really sweet and accommodating. They also take WaySpa gift cards and offer discounts to their new customers on their next visit! Overall, it was an amazing experience.

This spa is tucked into La Vita Salon. Natalia is quite possibly the best nail tech in the GTA. I was reluctant to start doing my nails again because I had taken a four year break after 20 + years of shellac, bio gel and powder nails. I had an event to attend and I wanted something more than a manicure.A friend recommended Natalia to me because she was so impressed by her. She uses European techniques to produce the most beautiful nail results. I’ve been getting shellac done with Natalia since December. There is NO soaking of the nails of any kind. A fill is done using very gentle and precise filing to prepare the nails. Cuticle trimming is also done with a file. No cutting means no ragged edges. Natalia’s European skills (she taught nail design among other things). The result is a beautiful, long lasting manicure with shellac. I highly recommend Natalia and the team at Anna Pilon. Other services offered are, facials, massage, skin care, mani pedis and natural nail care.
As I have worked hard manual jobs and using my back and neck muscles a lot ,I have developed muscle aches, etc .Someone introduced me to this spa, and for the 2 times I have gone, I have felt a lot better .For the price to what you get it's very good and I can't think of a place in the gta to do it for this price .The ladies try and listen to you or feel out that you are quite tense and maybe having issues .For an hour, you get someone to give you a back /body message that helps you relax better than just dealing with it .Plus, it's in a plaza that comes with a lots of great3 food to eat after ,so I don't see a downside in terms of at least trying it ?

Got a bio gel refill, french ombré with white chrome by Jackie who did a lovely job. She really knew how to shape my nail to look natural with my fingers, which is hard since I have a short nail bed. She also took her time and checked in to see if I liked what she was doing. All in all I’m so happy with the results. My only comment is that the refill could have been more deep, I noticed that it doesn’t go all the way up to the skin area which means that it will grow out faster :/
I was not happy with my old lashes. the maternal is good, my eyelashes stay longer and no pain during the lashes process. Friendly staff and they accommodate me during my day off for appointment. I recommend very much this small business.

I don't normally do makeup and Maya worked with me to decide on what look would look nice on me. She offers suggestions and also listens to what you'd like. At no point did I feel like she ignored what I wanted or pressured me to do a certain look (something I've experienced with other MUAs). She showed how things were progressing along the way and explained what she was going to do. Receieved countless compliments at the event and could not have been happier with the final look. Highly highly recommend this boutique if you need makeup and/or hair done.

Searching for tattoo parlours, I happened upon the Fang and Flower. While browsing their page and reading the positive reviews, I decided to submit my idea for a consultation. A couple of days later, I received a response and was asked when I wanted to get it done. Since I was near Port Credit a few days later, I stopped by on a whim to check out the place. They were playing unfamiliar heavy metal tunes. Added the new music to my playlist ;) I was greeted by a lovely and personable young lady named Vivienne who conferred with me about my tattoo. Given that it's my first tattoo, I had many questions, which she happily answered and even suggested I consult with one of the artists on site. Lance was working on a client upon my entry but chatted with me about what I wanted and suggested a few ideas to keep my design simple and feminine. From first observations, the parlour was super clean, both the washroom and lounge coupled with their positive Google reviews and friendly demeanour, which compelled me to go ahead and book my tattoo. Today, I went in and got it done. The process was simple and straightforward. To my surprise, it didn't hurt much! The environment and staff were very welcoming and I felt at great ease. I got my nose double pierced years ago else where and it healed horribly and the experience was nothing more than uncomfortable.
I went to Maddy years later with a scarred nose, she made me feel so comfortable and the piercing went smoothly and healed absolutely perfect. I went back today to get it changed to hoops and just seeing her again was such a great experience on its own, I left happy once again.

We had a great experience with Sergii from Actus Electric. I contacted him through Kijiji for installing pot lights, and the quote he gave after visiting was reasonable. Getting the job done included some electrical work and Sergii was thorough and kept things as clean as possible. He was very polite, helpful, and very patient with my husband and I asking him to install three extra lights last minute. The pot light installations were very well done and he took time to make sure we were happy with the placement of the new lights (in non-existing spots) and gave us the option of different colours/intensity. I had a short circuit in basement pot lights. I thought it was the switch and since I saw a spark from there but replacing that did not work. Called Jafar to trouble shoot the problem and I was glad I did because he found the short in one of the pot lights and revealed that another was close to failing. He came back 2 days later and replaced all my pot lights with new LED pot lights. The old ones had been problematic for a while so happy to have the new energy efficient lights.
The problem I had concerned the loss of my WiFi due to a tripped breaker which showed a red light when reset. I needed a certified electrician promptly and checked the Home Stars website where I found impressive reviews of two electricians, Rob and Peter, at Star Service Electrical. Upon contacting this company, I spoke with Rob about my concern and he set up a service call within two days at a very reasonable price.
He arrived on time and promptly began his diagnostic work.
Afterwards, he told me he had identified the cause of the issue at an outlet between a new wall and an old wall. He expressed a concern that the damaged wire he had to repair may be back in the recessed electrical box and that would mean cutting into the wall. Nevertheless, he told me he will do his best to repair the wire without cutting into the wall. And later that is exactly what he did. For any future electrical matters, Rob and Star Service Electrical will be my go to choice for peace of mind. I therefore highly recommend Rob and his company to anyone seeking a certified electrician.
On Sunday August 4th 2024 of a long weekend a huge limb feel from my Red Oak tree, downing wires and Hydro had to be called to disconnect power. Damage on my property and called Kenneth from Tritech electrical and he and Danny came out right away and power was restored. The Tritech team has incredible staff, electricians and service.

I had a very positive experience contacting Paul at Stain Protection Services to treat my new sofa and love seat. Paul scheduled our appointment a few days after I contacted him, arrived on time, did a very thorough job of treating the furniture and provided the explanation of how to use the stain remover products that he provided as part of the service. I have light blue upholstery and Paul gave it ample protection to help avoid any future stains. I recently had a spill on one of the sofa cushions that resulted in a \\\"halo\\\" type of stain after I tried to clean it myself. Luckily, that stain came out naturally as part of the stain protection treatment that Paul did. Very satisfied with the service overall and payment was easy with my Visa. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to protect their upholstered furniture. We had an excellent experience with Mike and Michael for whole renovations for our home. It was an extensive project involving opening up the living space, removing stucco ceilings, installation of potlights and light fixtures, repainting all walls, replacing all trim and a new powder room. We had a separate team for our floors.Mike and Michael were professional and communicative throughout the whole project. I appreciated this the most. I would get daily texts about the project, arranged times weekly to review progress and immediate calls/messages if there were issues. They took great care in our home and told us when they found issues such as water damage (missed during our home inspection) all the way to letting us know that our daughter's room was giving them trouble with being painted. The previous owners had painted over wallpaper and the first coat was not up to their standards. They gave us options and costs in how to approach issues and were very open to changes when we discussed them. It was a fantastic experience throughout. Michael even went beyond to check on our house a few times during the project because "It's ok, I live close by". We couldn't have asked for more.Their team took a ~3 week break for our flooring team to come in which caused us stress because we wanted to move in ASAP. They doubled their efforts and got our house move in ready before the new year. Mike was fantastic at keeping us updated and coordinating our cleaners. He let us know right to the hour when they would be done.This was a fantastic contractor and home renovation experience. We are absolutely happy to be in our home and the changes from when we bought to what it is now is night and day. I can't recommend them more! !

A friend recommended The Real Tree Masters. An arbourist from the company arrived the next day and made some good recommendations and gave me a quote. He suggested I could call the city to have the fees waived on removing 2 large trees as they were diseased. I couldn't get past the gatekeeper on my 311 call, but Elena (at the Real Tree Masters office) prepared the forms and got the fees waived, a $430 plus tax savings! A very efficient crew of 3 men arrived on time and had most of the work done by that evening. (it was a miserable wet day and they came back later to grind the stumps). It was a very professionally and efficiently done job. I am completely satisfied!

My 12-year old Bichonne Frise/Maltese developed a ruptured cyst. His former groomer refused to continue grooming him. After countless inquiries with other groomers who all declined him, I came across Phillipe who accepted him even with his condition.
Mac was groomed to perfection! Probably one of the best cuts he’s gotten. Philippe went beyond, and cleaned the cyst and trimmed down the fur around it, made him smelling great and looking fresh and youthful! ?

After trying several clinics across Mississauga over the years, Grey Method has been the best overall by far. From the front staff to the practitioners, to the upkeep of the clinic itself, it's a place I look forward to visiting regularly. Ritchie has been my go-to RMT there for the past two years. I was recommended to Daniel’s touch by a friend for osteopathic treatment. I had my first ever osteopathic session today. Louis is amazing at what he does. He knew exactly which points to target/ treat which have caused me pain. He had the perfect pressure, and ensured I felt comfortable throughout the process. Although I have a slight headache (which is normal) my body feels so good and surprisingly relaxed. Looking forward to more sessions. I am excited to continue and keep up treatments :)

The care I receive from Kelly is always exceptional. She is vwry knowledgeable, kind, and attentive to my needs, There is a lovely atmosphere in the building, and I always feel relaxed the minute I walk in the door. I recommend Kelly to anybody who tells me they need a massage.
The environment is laid back. Very clean. Alexandra spent some time with me when I arrived to find out my preferences and area of focus. It was the best massage I've had. My should has been sore for three years and it REALLY helped.
I had the pleasure of having a Foot Reflexology session with Amette. It was a great experience and I loved the meditative music she incorporated into my treatment. Amette is well skilled and talented. she found the right points where I was feeling pain. She helped reset my body and I had the best sleep in a long time that night. I was very happy with the service that I received and I will be coming back for another treatment. I am really proud of her! ?

Everyone at Physiocare and Rehab is professional, polite and knowledgeable. From the front desk staff to the assistants, to the doctors. Dr Nadia has been our chiropractor for a long time and has helped my family tremendously with our different ailments. She treats our issues and gives us advice on how to deal with them at home. Really helpful, after 3 months of shoulder pain, being unable to workout and trying different shoulder exercises Dr. Sheena was able to help me pinpoint that the problem was actually nerve impingement in my neck causing a lack of blood supply to the shoulder. I was given the appropriate exercises and feel my shoulder improving significantly since starting treatment here

Today I passed my G2 driving test for the first time, and I owe it all to my amazing driving instructor, Muhammad. I have never driven before, He thought me everything needed to safely drive. He is always on time and incredibly patient. As a nervous driver, his reassuring nature really helped me stay calm and confident. I highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive.

Just passed my G2 test and there is no greater feeling than that. ABC driving school has been extremely helpful in teaching me the ways of the road and I could not have passed without them and with Joe Q’s help. ABC driving school is friendly and professional with their main goal being to help people pass their driving tests.
My driving instructor was Waseem, very straightforward teaching style, was calm but still constructive, overall smooth process for learning how to drive and passing G2 test!

Definitely would recommend Robert for lessons. Did all 12 with a different driving instructor and they weren’t nearly as helpful as Robert is in just a few lessons. Very calm and pleasant, couldn’t recommend more.
