“Dr Lance Sullenberger became my cardiologist several years ago when the cardiologist I had been seeing completely disappeared- literally. No one would tell me where he went. So, I did some research and selected Dr Sullenberger. How fortunate I was to have found him! He actually listens. He does not rush the visit. He is highly skilled and, clearly, keeps up on medical research. Recently he introduced me to a new medication to control high cholesterol. It is an injection you get twice a year in his office. Insurance covers the entire cost, which is great, because the cost of this new therapy is $3000.00 per injection. But all other treatments had been of little value in the past and I had tried them all. This new therapy, along with my usual statin, cut my LDL (the bad stuff) in half! I am now well within the correct range. I mentioned this, because without Dr. Sullenbergers knowledge I would not have known about this wonderful new medication. He was a physician in the Army for many years and attained the rank of Major. If you want a cardiologist who treats you like a person vs. just a patient number on a file folder then Dr Sullenberger is the doctor for you. He is a warm and caring man who has my full trust.“
