“This one is for Dr. Mundra and her amazing staff. I needed blood work done this morning - I notified the staff at the reception desk that I was a fainter, I tend to hyperventilate and pass out - and I would need help. For some reason these types of things have always freaked me out from a young age (regardless of me being covered in tattoos and loving horror, the irony). Kenny, the staff member who did my blood draw was so incredibly calm, confident, relaxed. I didn't even feel any of it. On top of Kenny's professionalism, the receptionist (I don't remember her name, short blonde hair and glasses) I had notified earlier came in to make sure I was okay, held my hand, talked to me the entire time and they both stayed in the room while I calmed down. As a 28 year old - reacting this way to blood draws feels a bit shameful whenever I had to notify a Doctors office in the past - they didn't make me feel that way at all. I just really appreciate the level of care they took. In my 28 years that was the easiest, quickest, blood draw I've ever had.Thank you both. This seems small to some but it's a big deal to me!“
