“Last night it was 89 here in Bernalillo. AC went out. Unit just humming but no fan or chilled air. I'm thinking "We're screwed. Next 10 days are 90+ and with labor shortage, parts unavailability, etc. this is going to be a hot ugly June." My wife texted Bob at 8pm calling 'help'! Bob called back at 7:30a and said he'd be here before noon. He showed up just as he said he would. We were ready to drop $7K for a new unit but Bob said we could replace the burned out motor and we'd be good to go for a few more years. [Unit is 12 years old]. He admonished us to keep the cottonwood seeds off the filter and off he went. It's 1:27pm and I'm sitting here chilled at 73 and smiling.
