I've never been to an independent nail tech before and I'm so glad I found Naly! Her place is incredibly clean and her work is neat. I did not feel rushed during my appointment and she was willing to accommodate my last minute needs. I originally only booked a regular pedi, and wanted to upgrade to gel pedi + a gel mani, and she immediately accommodated my request and even stayed 40 mins past her closing time to fit me in! I am a very timid and do not like to confront anyone even if I did not like something. However, Naly made me very comfortable throughout the whole process. She constantly asked about my comfort throughout my appt and whether the color chosen was to my liking. My gel mani and pedi cost about $100 total. But honestly I would be paying pretty much the same amount at a busy, unhygienic, run-down nail salon with horrible service. The service you get w Naly is 10x better! I will be back!

Police/Fire/Animal control came and couldn't do anything. - Many pest and wildlife control places wouldn't take dogs or cats but Francis came up here in Blaine and Jess (one of the individuals that works with them) did a fabulous job and rescued our kitty! Scott is a perfectionist and an artist. He reconfigured an area of exposed concrete, which was a prominent eyesore, to look like the brick surrounding the brick on our house which is no longer available for sale. He also repaired and then re-dashed the entire front of the house and the areas where he had made repairs on the sides and back of the house.I cannot say enough good things about Modern Exteriors. Scott and his assistant transformed our 60 year old house into an incredibly appealing curbside view.I have never met a more amazing artisan who takes such pride in his work and left our house spotless.

Was such an easy fast experience for my 2.5 year old. He usually doesn’t sit still and is a very busy guy, but with Bluey playing and some fruit snacks this was a fast and pleasant experience. The haircut was great. She was kind and gentle (I didn’t get the name).

I like that there is not a lot of waiting here. I also had Travis as my stylist, and he was really good at checking in with my needs and really asking me what I wanted. It felt really easy to make my needs known and he wasn’t in a rush or anything so I just really appreciated his service. He had good extra suggestions for things I could do with my hair and also gave me some feedback on products that would work well for me. I was really impressed and will definitely come back!

Great tanning beds, I never knew certain beds would make my tan look so much better. The only issue I had was the sign up fees that weren’t mentioned to me before I picked my package but, after they swiped my card. But I double checked on the website and they are listed on there.
I did the buy 5 tans get the 6 one free. They’re great at getting you set up and explaining the tanning bed you personally will need for how you tan. Every time I went in, they had an open bed. The vibe is amazing. The girls are super nice.

I have been going to NC nails for about a year now and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff is so friendly and welcoming every time. Even when they’re busy, they take their time to make sure they give you the best service. I’ve gotten pedicures and manicures and recommend both! Prices are also fair.

What an amazing experience with one of the greatest tattoo artists I’ve ever met. Walking in the shop is nice and clean. The decor is not your classic clip art all over. I met with Winfield on doing a Chicago dog tattoo. He put together a great looking Chicago dog making sure it was the right angle and proper placement on my arm. During the session he had great music playing and was a great conversationalist. The placement on my arm kept my arm in an awkward position and Winfield was very accommodating to me having to stretch my arm. The tattoo turned out better than I could have imagined. The colors were on point from the bright green relish to the amazing detail in the tomato, pickles and bun. From start to finish it was a great experience. I will only be tattooed here and by Winfield!

My story starts with sweltering temperatures I've had to endure this summer- inside my home.
Increasingly worried this was becoming a health emergency, I scheduled an xcel/centerpoint energy audit for answers. Their detailed two hour analysis indicated that my 30 year old appliances were the culprit- and they referred me to Erickson.
From my initial call to the final installation, I've been incredibly impressed. Amanda, the office superhero was so compassionate and when I pointed that out, she said that's why they have a red heart in their logo to show that they value kindness (wow)! She offered to help me navigate an email consultation with Andy- their kind, dynamic project manager. Other companies i had contacted did not come close to their TLC and professionalism. In fact, Erickson was so over the top responsive that I felt like family and decided to hire them on the spot. Then, within one week, their polite, on time, hard working staff were able to install my beautiful energy-efficient water heater, furnace and A/C. WOW!

I’m excited to share my retreat experience, A Journey Within with Dr. Christelle and Mallory from Empowered Health Chiropractic and Wellness and Una from Communal Studio. This was my first retreat. I’m a mother of two who had been dealing with anxiety and depression for years. When I signed up, I was unhappy, exhausted and overwhelmed. I had the best experience ever and felt like years of stress and trauma was removed from my mind and body. I gained tools and knowledge to focus on my wellbeing through breathwork, journaling, restorative yoga, and chiropractic adjustments.
Dr Christelle, Mallory and Una did an excellent job of hosting the event. They were professional and attentive. It was intentional and organized from the itinerary to the venue, Big Raven Farm. There were enough things to do as a group and also plenty of individual time as well. We even had the opportunity to get creative with a wood burning activity. I didn’t feel pressure to participate and was able to go at my own pace and level of comfort.
The thought of being away for the weekend with a group of strangers and being vulnerable was intimidating. I was fortunate enough to attend with my best friend. Although, each one of us came from different backgrounds, I felt that the group were able to connect with each other and offer support through the activities and conversations that was shared. Looking back, the one memory that comes to mind is the laughter and dance party.
We were given a test at the beginning and end of the retreat to measure how our nervous system was functioning. I was not surprised that my results had improved immensely. I felt a significant change in my overall mental and physical state. It’s been 3 months since the retreat. I don’t feel as stressed out and have been able to use the breathwork and somatic tools for myself and kids. Dr. Christelle, Mallory and Una have set the bar high with this event and I look forward to participate in future retreats.

Build and Balance Chiropractic has made and incredible difference with my neck and back health. I came to Build & Balance with a "stinger" in my neck as well as a pinched nerve. I had a hard time sitting in one position. Driving was miserable and sleeping was a challenge! The treatment I received improved my neck & back as they said it would. They gave me a treatment plan that was easy to follow and very effective. It took some time to regain my neck & back health but I no longer have the pain and discomfort I once experienced. I definitely recommend them.

Dr. McHale has been our vet doctor for 23 years. Him and his team are wonderful. They are compassionate and take the time to explain everything to you. We don't feel rushed and have given out his name every time when someone is asking for an animal clinic. Their new facility is clean and updated, and you can tell everyone loves what they do. This is Dottie, she loves going to see Dr. McHale.

Everyone at this vets office is really nice. The vets are very thorough anytime I have brought my dog and cat in. It's easy to get an appointment, which is awesome. The vets office is very good about giving estimates before anything is done. They also don't push things that my pets don't need. I specifically drive 30 minutes away because of the confidence I have at Murray. I am extremely picky about where my animals go and this is the place ☺️
I've been bringing my dog to Blaine Central Veterinarians for several years after transferring from another clinic. Staff are always friendly, compassionate, and patient. They take time to listen to my concerns and answer the many questions I sometimes have, whether it's for my pet's surgery, medical issue, or regular checkup. They also inform me of the cost of services before moving forward with tests, x-rays, etc.
They always follow up with a telephone call a couple of days after our visits to see how my dog is doing/improving.
I also love how they have pets who visit their clinic in a rotating photo sideshow on their computer screens. What a fun idea!
My only negative comment is regarding their pet perks program where the cost of your visits earn points towards discounts on future services. It's not very good, though, and actually quite disappointing. I know they dont have to offer amything, but since they do, for what I've spent since the program started, I should have at least earned a free check-up.or two! They really should consider improving this program.
Dr. Epping and his staff were exceptional with my new kitten. This was my first visit and he needed a couple of shots and they trimmed his toenails. Dr. Epping explained my kittens watery eye and put some drops in for me explaining why they were going to treat him even though it appeared to be viral. I am very impressed with their care and how they treated my kitten. He even walked out with a new toy. Thank you to Jenna the wonderful technician. Hoped I spelled her name right!!

I was looking for a female instructor for behind-the-wheel classes, and I was worried by the bad reviews about Mary. Jessica, on the other hand, is a patient and friendly instructor. I learned a lot from her, and had a great experience. I would 100% recommend her to anyone wanting to learn how to drive!
