“My 4 year old son was having a tough time feeling comfortable in the group setting. When I expressed my concern to Master Pederson, after thinking we would just have to withdraw from the studio, she offered many creative solutions to help him feel more confident in class. Master Pederson was so kind, compassionate, understanding and supportive for both my son and myself. My son is now fully confident and excited to participate in group classes! I highly suggest Victory Martial Arts - Arvada if you are looking to get your little one into this amazing activity. We wouldn't have gotten over this obstacle without Master Pederson and Mrs. Downs. Thank you both!“
“Thumb up, my kiddo go to this place, he wants to go this place everyday if he can. Highly recommended. Good instructors good experience good environment. You should come, more exciting experience than attracting playground.“
“Amazing people at this gym. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. Make you feel at home right away.“
“I've been taking my son here for a long while now and I must say they are really great at what they do to teach my son and his peers the fundamentals of boxing and martial arts and their overall well-being both mentally and physically.“
“I am constantly impressed with how well this establishment is run! They are super organized, great with communication and inspire my son to be his best in every single class. Incredible staff; each and every administrator and instructor CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR CHILD. They are full of love and support! They also challenge you to be your very best on and off the floor. Great community, highly recommend!“
“Limitless is an awesome gym!The environment is welcoming and encouraging, no matter the skill level. Kru Ali is a professional, experienced, and skilled instructor, and the classes always have small enough numbers, allowing you to get personalized instruction, though you can always sign up for one-on-one lessons, which I highly recommend.Try out a class; you won't regret it!Edit to add: I've been training Muay Thai here for several months now and the other instructors are also awesome (shout out to Rachel and Mark). I really appreciate the inclusive and positive culture that the coaches work so hard to maintain, and I plan to be a longtime student here.“
“I absolutely love this place! Starting a martial art at 37 was kind of intimidating, however, I am so happy I did. The instructors have been so nice and welcoming. Also, all the other students Are very kind and I feel right at home. I would recommend this place for anyone. It doesn’t matter your skill, level age, weight, physical fitness level, this place works for everyone! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend to all my friends and family!“
“Taekwondo has been a huge part of my life since I was two years old. It has helped me build up self-confidence in all areas of my life, including my schooling and education. Without all of the help from the instructors and fellow students at CTI I would not be as successful as I am now. All of the people are respectful and polite to fellow students and parents which creates a prime learning environment for all ages. This is also something that is great to do as a family because you can work out and have fun at the same time!***UPDATE- Colorado Taekwondo Institute is still such a big part of my life and it always will be. It continues to help me build my self-directed learning and confidence. It has been a huge reason of why I'm successful in my Pharmacy doctorate program currently. This school builds well-rounded students who will be successful in whatever they do. Would 10/10 recommend!!!“
“First session was amazing. Really got the most out of our 3yr old and 8yr old. Very well done“
“My son has been going here for several years now. It's a family owned studio with highly skilled and educated instructors. This is the best thing we did for him. This year, he earned his black belt. He has made some great friends as well as learned the meaning of respect, hard work, and the feeling of accomplishment. If you're looking for a fantastic studio, I can not express enough how much I recommend them!“
“Excellent teaching staff and programs. My whole family enjoys the club! I would highly recommend this dojo for anyone or any family wanting to learn self defense and improve physical well being!“
“A traditional karate dojo that is a great experience for both kids and adults. There is a strong sense of community, discipline, and a sense accomplishment for students as they progress. My son is excited to come to every class and I never feel pressured that he is getting behind. I would recommend this dojo for any new students of any age that are curious of a unique and fantastic experience“
“One of the best decisions i have ever made. Sifu Post has taught me so much and I've grown a lot in the nearly 2 years that I attended. While there I not only learned how to fight, i learned to focus my energy into more positive things in life, and met some amazing people along the way. In doing so I have become more aware of what I want from life and it has helped me to set goals and achieve them. Unfortunately my decision to leave Colorado means that i can no longer train with Sifu Post. My experience here will stick with me for life and I’m very grateful to have found this place. I hope to keep pursuing martial arts, but this place certainly ignited a spark.“
“Peak Martial Arts has been an amazing opportunity for my child to learn about self-confidence, discipline, team work and how to be a leader. We have been with Peak for over 3 years now - and not only have they provided martial arts - but they also offer summer camp Programs, day camps for Adams 12 no school days! My kid loves them all! The staff is exceptional and provides positive experiences and time with each kid! Thank you Peak for being amazing!“
“Did my first self defense training class today and it was very informative and also super fun! Instructor clearly knows his stuff, I highly recommend!“
“The best place to learn martial arts with an instructor with a lot of experience in the field, highly recommend“
“I hadn’t done any martial arts since I was just a young kid. I decided to give it a try At 37. It can be intimidating walking into a gym with zero experience but I have to say I absolutely love this place! Very nice and welcoming culture, the instructors are great. also, I have two kids and it is definitely a family-friendly environment. Five out of five would recommend.“
“This gym is amazing. The coach, Judo Dave, is incredibly inclusive, kind, and light hearted. If you’re just starting out wanting to learn Jiu Jitsu, this is a great place. Also Dave is a black belt and a literal wizard, so if you’re a higher belt trying to find a new place to train and learn, this is an awesome spot. Please check them out. Also they are clean and serious about hygiene on the mats.“
“I went to this place for a tournament yesterday and it was really fun, I don't train here but it seems fun to be able to train at this gym ?“
“Go there for karate, all the sensei’s are the best. Always understanding and pushing us to be the best“
“Authentic Shao-Lin with direct lineage to their temple in China. Studied for several years under Master Sharon & Master David. The practice brought focus, health, and balance into my life.“
“We love everything about this place, it is great for us as homeschooling parents, this is his gym, teachers are awesome!“
“I highly recommend Universal Kempo Karate. Every time you enter you will be warmly welcomed by Jamie - who is not just an excellent instructor, but a wonderful human being. Jamie is super friendly and extremely approachable. He makes it a point to have one-on-one conversations with all the parents. Our son absolutely loves the time he spends at Universal Kempo Karate. While he isn’t naturally inclined towards sports, this program has been a great outlet and we haven't observed him get frustrated like with other sports and it's the only place he gets a good dose of exercise. He has advanced rapidly, testament to both his efforts and the nurturing environment of the school. I'm not an expert on martial arts school class structures but we really like the flow of each class. Each class begins with a not-too-strenuous warm-up, followed by genuine martial arts drills tailored for all age groups, often sometimes includes more strenuous runs and typically mostly entails defense, attach, weapon drills or sparing. The fellowship hall is spacious and there is always plenty of room for the students. A special shout-out to Dominic, who is great with the students and an excellent practitioner. If you're looking for an inclusive, friendly, and professional karate school for your child, check out Universal Kempo Karate! Not only will your child learn karate as a martial art, but also they will be encouraged to develop life principles like discipline, respect, and self-confidence.“
“My son and I walked into Zingano BJJ 6 years ago. He had expressed interest in martial arts and I wanted to learn more about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We both signed up and started training. The kids coaches did a great job of keeping the kids attention and making the class fun and safe. The more that my son trained the more I saw his training influence other aspects of his life. He was more focused, more considerate and worked harder at the other things that he enjoys doing. 6 years later his training still gives him an edge. He does great in school and at football and I believe that this is due to the discipline and training he has received at Zingano’s. He continues to train and compete. The coaches and curriculum at Zinganos are top notch as is the facility. Everyone there is committed to learning and improving each other’s knowledge of BJJ. We train hard and everyone has a great time doing so. I cannot recommend Zingano Brazillan Jiu Jitsu enough if you and or your family is looking for a place to train.“
“Studied Tai chi here and also have been treated with herbs and acupuncture! Fantastic results! Thank you!“
“I've started Taekwondo classes since I was 7. Now, I am 16, and still excited and engaged to learn about many new possibilities and challenges yet to come. The instructors are welcoming, respectful and know how to work well with others. You learn a lot from these classes from personal values to physical aspects, ranging in many different skills and new things to learn. I can say that going to Colorado Taekwondo Institute classes, have changed my life, and made me meet so many nice people and friends. I totally recommend CTI classes for any new beginners!“
