March 9, 2023I bought a handbag today at a resale store. Found out the zipper was broken, brought it to this establishment the last minute to get it fixed. Mr. Yun fixed it and did a damn good job. He didn't charge an arm and a leg like other places. This place only takes cash.

Roselia has been my hairstylist since i was in high school, she has always done a great job and im always happy with my results, now im a mom of 2 kids and i been taking them since they were 9 months old, they love her, shes very patient and i never have any problems, my kids love getting their hair done by her, mind you my little one is 1 year and 3 months and he never cries with her, neither my 3 year old. Aime and Lily were amazing! They did my hair and makeup trial before my wedding, and also came to our hotel day of to do hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. They showed up a little early to have everything set up and ready. Our makeup and hair lasted 12+ hours, even through happy tears! Everyone loved how they looked. Both Aime and Lily check in to make sure you're comfortable and like how it turned out, they're very friendly and put you at ease. Recommend!!

This was our first experience at this barbershop. Lee needed our 4 year old to get cleaned up in time for Easter. We’re from South County and we did not expect the rain. We had breakfast nearby and walked around the corner to find another hair salon we’ve already been to, but the rain started so hard so we found shelter. In front of us across the street was this barbershop. I called the number asking if they accept walk-ins and they booked us for the next 15min. We crossed over and it was the best experience we ever had for a hair cut for our toddler. Very welcoming and friendly and allowed our toddlers to be the terrorizing toddlers. We did not have cash in hand at the time, but Don Jose was very understanding and still cut our boys hair and we returned afterwards to pay our dues. He is very experienced and has lots of patience with little ones. We plan on returning for future cuts for our boy! Thank you, Don Jose!

I cannot advocate for red light therapy enough!! I have been battling psoriasis for most of my life and wish that I knew about the health benefits of red light therapy A LOT sooner. In just 3 weeks I saw a huge change in my skin and after 4 months of going consistency (4-5xs a week for 15mins) I saw and felt DRAMATIC changes. I was in so much pain (mentally and physically) in February and by the end of June I was confident enough to be rocking tank tops and shorts. Not only has it helped immensely with my psoriasis but red light therapy has also made a massive improvement on my forehead wrinkles. Also, I am a gym rat who works out 5-6xs per week, I noticed a difference in my muscle recovery time! I am a very holistic person. I do not put any prescribed over-the-counter medicines/ointments on my psoriasis, nor do I do Botox. Red light therapy will always be a part of my health/beauty routine!! I have been going here for years. I started off on the regular beds but now have found the matrix tanning bed and I am loyal to it! It's a quick tan and gets you beach ready fast (about 4 tans). I have not been here since last year and did one tan and here are my results!!! Not sure how long the new owners have been there but they are very knowledgeable and will help you find the best tanning solution for yourself. I do recommend Sun Your Buns!

Took my mom here because she wanted a pedicure, but also got her a manicure. Staff was friendly and they did a great job and made her feel relaxed and she liked the work they did and when she was feeling hot, they got her a little fan, they were very patient while she was deciding to choose a color for her feet. I got my feet done, the woman who did my feet is a champ, she took her time and took who knows how many years of callous, never felt my feet soft. I never came to this kind of place, but the prices seem fair and it was quality work. Mom was happy with it.

It was chaotic when I got there. I had an appointment and was seen within 30 minutes, which I think wasn't that bad. The person that did my nails, cut me and was very sorry about it. Other than that, I think she did a pretty good job. I'm going to go to her for the second time and see if I like her work again and if I do end up liking it, she might just be new nail person.

Roberto does a great job every time! I am completely happy with the consultation and the final product. He and I go way back to the days where he was just starting out. My sisters and I could not get enough of work done by him because he always makes us look so beautiful. I am happy my friend was able to help me out on such an important day for me. I was so stressed at how I was going to get my hair done for that day and my husband asked him to meet us at our hotel closer to the venue and ecstatically he said yes, omg I almost wanted to cry in happiness and relief. As you can see the work he has done is meticulous, professional, and always on point. I attempt to get him business with any body I meet but secretly I don't want them to take up my time slots with him because he always can squeeze me in at a moments notice. I made an appointment because I felt like my eyebrows were too big and bushy. Julissa said they just need a little shape to them. Once my appointment was complete I had more arch and shape to my brows and Julissa even took the time to teach me how to pencil in my brows! Can’t wait to go back to see her in February! Erika is the ONLY person I trust with my brows and blooms. She asked me exactly what I wanted in terms of brow shape and never took too much off. Her vibe is warm and welcoming and she is the best at what she doesn't. Period. Erika was the first person to introduce me to "sugaring" which is a much more enjoyable form of hair removal in my opinion and when my hair does grown back, it's not ass itchy or uncomfortable compared to traditional hard wax in my experience. Les installed the kinetico soft water system in our house and did an awesome and professional job. The company is Aqua Terra Water Service and we got set up with Soft water for the house and also drinking water. Previously we had a soft water system but we had issues with it. We have 7 people in our house with lot's of laundry and showers and the previous system would run out of soft water and we would have to recycle the water manually. This kineitico system has two tanks for ample soft water. The drinking water is a reverse osmosis with filters and does an excellent job with tasty water and does a better job than our previous system. Highly recommended.
We have tankless water heater installed in our home for about 10 years. We have had love hate relationship for this equipment when working we love it, however this past few years this thing had to be reset frequently to get it back to working due consistent xxxx error. So I have decided to move on and thinking of going back to traditional tank water heater. So after searching here at yelp to find a local professional plumber I came across with Complete Plumbing with excellent track records and costumer feed back rating.I reached out to Mike told him my bad experience with our system and let him know that I'm replacing it however I mentioned the name and model of our water heater "Navien" he had to ask me twice lol. He says he's been installing this same heaters to a lot of customers with no issues, in fact he's got the same one installed in his home.So he came in that same afternoon for initial inspection, explained that he'll get it fixed without having to buy another system. As promised he came back two days later did thorough service changed configuration added parts. So it's been a week since he's last visit our Navien has been revived and working flawlessly without having to reset it enjoying hot water on demand. Mike literally saved me at least $2k for unnecessary whole system replacement.So if your looking for reliable, honest and dependable professional plumber with 30 yrs experience under his belt. Overall a real good experience with Garcia Plumbing. Was given his name by reference by my friend and regular plumber who was out of state. I'd found a small leak the waterline off my front yard faucet. Turned out my water pipe to the street needed replacing. Robert made it happen in short order. The call to PG&E for the gas line marking was done and the permit was done and my water is running. Robert made all the right arrangements and calls. Garcia Plumbing was professional and easy to work with. Last words...the way it should be.

We had a slow drain and Nick came out and properly diagnosed the multiple causes of the problem. Polite and thorough he quickly repaired the problem. We followed his recommendation to prevent further problems and it worked very well. As a follow-up he checked the rest of the plumbing in the house and found other problems waiting to happen. His proactive checking and repairs saved us from several emergency repair calls. He also fixed those on time and on budget. We definitely recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Monterey.
Needed some lights and fans changed out. Pretty routine half a dozen little projects. Maybe not the big moneymaker for an electrician, but important for us for our little home. I called JM electric, and the response was immediate and respectful. They sent somebody out the next day who got done what I needed to get done. There are a couple of things that need some additional parts, can you kindly made some recommendations about the best way to go about getting them. Not once did he need to leave the house to go get additional parts or tools like I've had happen many times with these smaller independent electricians. Charlie knew what he was doing. I highly recommend JM electric and will be calling them again when I need work.

The quality of carpet is better than what you will find at Home Depot. We also saved $.80 a square foot on pricing compared to Home Depot. Pat, at ProSource was great at helping us pick a carpet within our budget.You do have to pick your own installer and they have plenty of business cards on their counter to chose from. At Home Depot, you also have to use "their" picked installer. We called Bozzo carpet installer and he came out that same day to get the measurements. I called Pat and gave him those measurements. Pat gave me a price and again, cheaper than Home Depot. We got lucky and the carpet was delivered in 3 days. From start to finish it took us only a week to get the carpet installed. If a home owner wants to save some additional money in regards to the carpet installer, have your old carpet and pad removed from the room and have the floor completely staple/nail free. Our installer was done in less than an hour.

I interviewed five renovation teams: Eventually, I decided to choose them. They have fair pricing, I'll definitely recommend them to everyone. Choosing a renovation team is truly a big learning process. We are at our first stage of renovation, framing and demolition. We found many things that needed replacing during the teardown process. For example, decayed or termite-damaged wood, old pipes; as well as installing insulation and reinforcing the foundation. Alberto was able to taking care of this for me. Alberto is also handling things like contractor licenses, worker's comp, and permits. He can clearly explain every detail, each steps, how long it will take, and how each part will be done. Most of the time, they take care of everything, so I don't need to go to the site in person. Every day after work, they also spend about half an hour cleaning up the site thoroughly.

Jason is my service person, he is wonderful he listens the issues I’m having (due to neighbors with unclean premises). In the beginning, I saw newborn baby mice crawling from their houses. Jason was helpful in where to set up barriers so they don’t move into my house. He has followed through with bimonthly insect spray and rat traps that are safe for my animals. He informs me when there is heavy activity in the rat traps.
Edgar did a thorough job of looking for points of entry. He kept me informed of everything that he found and of what treatments he applied. I appreciate that he will do a check-in within a week to make sure that the service is effective.Service: Ant extermination

Benjaman and crew did a great job clearing Acacias on our property in Aptos. If you need TREE REMOVAL/LAND CLEARING these are your guys. They are fast with their amazing equipment! They did exactly what we wanted: pushed back the acacias 40 feet on three sides on our upper property, then cleared out acacias under and up to the Eucalyptus to our ridge top. The trees were chipped on site with a huge remote controlled chipper. Stumps removed with a remote controlled grinder. Benjamin is a master at moving the trees with his front loader. Amazing to watch them work. Not more expensive than other prices I was quoted, and he thru in extras. Good communication. We highly recommend Larger Eucalyptus trees were cut to rounds and we hired another party to split for fire wood.
Tree Brothers were amazing from start to finish. The crew managed to turn an ugly eyesore into a beautiful work of art through their masterful and artful shaping and trimming of the main and surrounding trees. My yard and the neighborhood have been enhanced and I immediately received complements from my neighbors for their beautiful work. They worked carefully and safely around the power and utility lines that ran through the trees. They came well prepared with personal safety gear, as well as the necessary pruning equipment. They arrived on time, were well organized, provided a clear estimate for the work to be done (they went above and beyond what was expected). The cleanup of the roof and the property left everything cleaner and neater than when they arrived. I needed sudden death infected oaks removed. They were very tall and close to the home. Gulliermo and his crew came out and safely removed the trees and ground the stumps a foot under the soil. The canopy was shredded and the logs were trailered away. I am very pleased with the way everything was done.
Craig personally sculptured the 20 maple trees on our property and made them look glorious. Every time I walk in the garden or look out I am so very pleased at how wonderful he has made the garden look. In addition Craig did additional work that I needed done because my husband was ill. Our whole family recently made the switch over to Salinas Dental Health and have been SO pleased with our experience. There is little to no wait time upon arriving at our scheduled appointments. Appointments are quick and easy. Every single staff member we engaged with is warm and knowledgeable. A huge win for us is that our kids (11, 8 - we hope to get our 4 year old in soon) all feel really comfortable and at ease when being seen here. We've seen all the dentists and they're all equally great! Their team is always up front and transparent with their findings and if there's any intervention needed, we never feel forced into anything and the front desk is always happy to give pricing/quotes while explaining exactly what's getting billed for. Our 11 year old recently had to get 4 extractions (due to having a small mouth and ortho requested to get them extracted) and Dr. Coe was the GOAT. It was our son's first experience at the dentist for extractions and general anesthesia, and he said he didn't feel anything at all! Dr. Coe (and the whole staff honestly) walked us through everything, made our son feel safe, secure, and seen. What more can you ask for? We anticipate being part of the practice for many many years!

I went in a couple of months ago after I tweaked my neck. Dr. Kirkwood was wonderful, and assessed my overall health before adjusting my neck. It was painless and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, she has since moved out of her Salinas office to Monterey, and I have to find someone else.

Just moved to Salinas from Charleston SC and had to leave my beloved vet. This place has great reviews so I got an apt for my puppy here. They got me in within a week or so of me calling and I had a great first experience. They were timely and kind and clearly love animals. I didn’t feel like they tried to “sell” me on anything I didn’t want. They gave great advice on when to fix my pup and training tips too.
I will be making appointments for my kitties to come here as well.
EDIT: brought one of my kitties in when he suddenly was using the litter box a LOT more than usual. They were able to fit me in same day. Thankfully Zigzag is ok but they were great about seeing him.
Beverly who is usually who I see up front is an absolute sweetheart. She never rushes people and is always so pleasant and kind. All the staff has been the same way. I feel like I found a great vet and so close to my house.
All of the people that work in this establishment are the most caring I have ever met. This includes Dr. Finnegan. They are sensitive to your needs and take the time helping your animal. I had to recently put my pet down and they helped me get thru it. Very gentle to my pet dog. One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make and they were very caring. Dr. Enriques is a Vet whom I trusted immediately. I felt heard and understood. She did not force vaccines on my dog as most do. The care she recommended was sound, wise and showed common sense which is not a given anymore in the world. I had no doubts at all when I left her office. How refreshing.

The entire office is pleasant and easy to work with. I always feel like they truly have our pets' best interest at heart. Many other veterinarian offices are obviously more concerned about the business end of things than the health of the animals. I often feel like the other offices are trying to up-sell you. Dr. Dena Eckerdt will voluntarily tell you that you can buy products and medications from her but it is much cheaper other places. They also are great with my pets, even the very difficult ones.

It's a second time going there with our puppy first time was amazing. Second time there was a little bit of miscommunication with how much hair we want to take it off, but they responded apologized and it doesn't take away from their good customer service and they are amazing communication in the past.

Very good deal, and decent massage. I did the 20 foot massage. I requested they be extra gentle and the guy did a great job. It's a nice clean and stylish environment. There is some noise from the mall traffic, so bring your headphone with relaxing music.

I have been going to Mickey Boyle for over 6 months and I can honestly say I feel 100% better. He has worked on my ankles, wrist, and lower back. I have never been to an acupuncturist prior to Mickey so wasn't sure what results I would get. I go in every two weeks and l look forward to my Saturday appointment.
