March 9, 2023I bought a handbag today at a resale store. Found out the zipper was broken, brought it to this establishment the last minute to get it fixed. Mr. Yun fixed it and did a damn good job. He didn't charge an arm and a leg like other places. This place only takes cash.

I reached out to a number of companies regarding required tree maintenance we needed done quickly, and Proven Quality was the first to respond - I'm so happy that they did! Within minutes of sending the quote request, they responded and made time to visit the property the following day (and even arrived early, unlike other contractors I've dealt with!). They were able to help us trim the branches required (needed to be done for an electrical upgrade per PG&E) and cleared the cut branches in about an hour. The price was comparable and the service exactly what we needed! They were also knowledgeable and able to give us recommendations for required cutting (per PG&E specifications) and for a future project (we will definitely be using them for!) at no extra cost. I'm very happy with these folks and look forward to working with them again soon!

Roselia has been my hairstylist since i was in high school, she has always done a great job and im always happy with my results, now im a mom of 2 kids and i been taking them since they were 9 months old, they love her, shes very patient and i never have any problems, my kids love getting their hair done by her, mind you my little one is 1 year and 3 months and he never cries with her, neither my 3 year old. Roselia is very patient with them and takes her time cutting their hair.

I walked by intrigued by the beautiful doorway. I was also in dire need of a haircut. They were able to get me in within an hour. When she asked what I needed I explained I just needed a trim but she could see my grey roots were growing out. I told her I needed to go to an event and she suggested I not only get my roots done but that I get some highlights . I said sure!! Over the next several hours I was taken care of , they even ordered me a burrito when they ordered their lunch . Because I didn’t have a real appt. they made time for me inbetween their appts. I watched as every women of all different ages was transformed . I couldn’t wait to see how my hair was going to turn out. When it came time for the cut I told her to do what she wanted. While taking off a bit of length. I showed up with my hair looking dry and my curls having no life. The color turned out beautiful and perfect , better than I could have imagined . This cut she left me with is exactly what she said, I can blow dry it and the layers look soft and lush and when I leave the curls to dry naturally the layers allow the curls to look full and bouncy. It is the best cut and color and salon experience I’ve ever had . I live on the Monterey Peninsula but will definitely make the short drive to come back . I usually dread going to a salon but I can’t wait to go back. It’s a beautiful space and the women there are talented and lovely humans. I never write reviews but I have to for this salon. I also bought the brush blow dryer she used on my hair and I love it! Worth the purchase. The price for my cut and color was the same for what I’ve paid on the peninsula but with a quality that doesn’t even come close. I highly recommend this salon . Es mejor!!

This was our first experience at this barbershop. Lee needed our 4 year old to get cleaned up in time for Easter. We’re from South County and we did not expect the rain. We had breakfast nearby and walked around the corner to find another hair salon we’ve already been to, but the rain started so hard so we found shelter. In front of us across the street was this barbershop. I called the number asking if they accept walk-ins and they booked us for the next 15min. We crossed over and it was the best experience we ever had for a hair cut for our toddler. Very welcoming and friendly and allowed our toddlers to be the terrorizing toddlers. We did not have cash in hand at the time, but Don Jose was very understanding and still cut our boys hair and we returned afterwards to pay our dues. He is very experienced and has lots of patience with little ones. We plan on returning for future cuts for our boy! Thank you, Don Jose!

I cannot advocate for red light therapy enough!! I have been battling psoriasis for most of my life and wish that I knew about the health benefits of red light therapy A LOT sooner. In just 3 weeks I saw a huge change in my skin and after 4 months of going consistency (4-5xs a week for 15mins) I saw and felt DRAMATIC changes. I was in so much pain (mentally and physically) in February and by the end of June I was confident enough to be rocking tank tops and shorts. Not only has it helped immensely with my psoriasis but red light therapy has also made a massive improvement on my forehead wrinkles. Also, I am a gym rat who works out 5-6xs per week, I noticed a difference in my muscle recovery time! I am a very holistic person. I do not put any prescribed over-the-counter medicines/ointments on my psoriasis, nor do I do Botox. Red light therapy will always be a part of my health/beauty routine!! I have been going here for years. I started off on the regular beds but now have found the matrix tanning bed and I am loyal to it! It's a quick tan and gets you beach ready fast (about 4 tans). I have not been here since last year and did one tan and here are my results!!! Not sure how long the new owners have been there but they are very knowledgeable and will help you find the best tanning solution for yourself. I do recommend Sun Your Buns!

Took my mom here because she wanted a pedicure, but also got her a manicure. Staff was friendly and they did a great job and made her feel relaxed and she liked the work they did and when she was feeling hot, they got her a little fan, they were very patient while she was deciding to choose a color for her feet. I got my feet done, the woman who did my feet is a champ, she took her time and took who knows how many years of callous, never felt my feet soft. I never came to this kind of place, but the prices seem fair and it was quality work. Mom was happy with it.

It was chaotic when I got there. I had an appointment and was seen within 30 minutes, which I think wasn't that bad. The person that did my nails, cut me and was very sorry about it. Other than that, I think she did a pretty good job. I'm going to go to her for the second time and see if I like her work again and if I do end up liking it, she might just be new nail person.

Roberto does a great job every time! I am completely happy with the consultation and the final product. He and I go way back to the days where he was just starting out. My sisters and I could not get enough of work done by him because he always makes us look so beautiful. I am happy my friend was able to help me out on such an important day for me. I was so stressed at how I was going to get my hair done for that day and my husband asked him to meet us at our hotel closer to the venue and ecstatically he said yes, omg I almost wanted to cry in happiness and relief. As you can see the work he has done is meticulous, professional, and always on point. I attempt to get him business with any body I meet but secretly I don't want them to take up my time slots with him because he always can squeeze me in at a moments notice. I will forever use his services and am reluctant to try anyone else because I fully trust I will get exactly what I want and more out of his work.

I made an appointment because I felt like my eyebrows were too big and bushy. Julissa said they just need a little shape to them. Once my appointment was complete I had more arch and shape to my brows and Julissa even took the time to teach me how to pencil in my brows! Can’t wait to go back to see her in February! She was very kind!

We've had softeners in the past on other homes but decided to install a water conditioner from another company when we moved in 3 years ago. When I called for service (seeing LOTS of build-up) we found that there were no local service companies, and the nearest one wanted $2,000 to recharge the media - after informing us that they were brand new to servicing the company and had to get back to us to give us THAT bad news. We have very hard water and instead of investing $2,000 every 3 years for mediocre results, we decided to invest in a water softening system. Based on 5-star reviews on Yelp and other local social media sites we called Les for an appointment to give us a quote for a replacement system. Les was very punctual, and there was no hard-sell from him - only information about the system he sells and what our local water had in it. After discussing the options and cost (with Les actually telling us NOT to purchase a more expensive system, based on our home usage of 4 adults), we decided to purchase a water softening and reverse osmosis system from him. He was up-front that it would be at least 4 weeks before he could do our install (not what we wanted to hear, but I'd rather hear the truth than a lie), and almost to the day at 4 weeks he called to set up the install within a few days. Les was able to use some of the piping from our previous system but still took the time needed for a quality installation. He walked us through how the system worked, when and how to check the salt levels (and recommended going to Costco for the salt .. again, no hard sell!), and when we could expect to have to service the system as well as the general cost (WAY less than $2,000!). You won't meet a nicer guy, a more professional person, and a more honest business person than Les - and you won't regret purchasing your system through him. I'd give him 10-stars if I could - our experience has simply been that good!
We have tankless water heater installed in our home for about 10 years. We have had love hate relationship for this equipment when working we love it, however this past few years this thing had to be reset frequently to get it back to working due consistent xxxx error. So I have decided to move on and thinking of going back to traditional tank water heater. So after searching here at yelp to find a local professional plumber I came across with Complete Plumbing with excellent track records and costumer feed back rating.I reached out to Mike told him my bad experience with our system and let him know that I'm replacing it however I mentioned the name and model of our water heater "Navien" he had to ask me twice lol. He says he's been installing this same heaters to a lot of customers with no issues, in fact he's got the same one installed in his home.So he came in that same afternoon for initial inspection, explained that he'll get it fixed without having to buy another system. As promised he came back two days later did thorough service changed configuration added parts. So it's been a week since he's last visit our Navien has been revived and working flawlessly without having to reset it enjoying hot water on demand. Mike literally saved me at least $2k for unnecessary whole system replacement.So if your looking for reliable, honest and dependable professional plumber with 30 yrs experience under his belt. Needed some lights and fans changed out. Pretty routine half a dozen little projects. Maybe not the big moneymaker for an electrician, but important for us for our little home. I called JM electric, and the response was immediate and respectful. They sent somebody out the next day who got done what I needed to get done. There are a couple of things that need some additional parts, can you kindly made some recommendations about the best way to go about getting them. Not once did he need to leave the house to go get additional parts or tools like I've had happen many times with these smaller independent electricians. Charlie knew what he was doing. I highly recommend JM electric and will be calling them again when I need work.

He is extremely knowledgeable of course, he’s clearly the best at what he does, just from meeting him one time. The quality of carpet is better than what you will find at Home Depot. We also saved $.80 a square foot on pricing compared to Home Depot. Pat, at ProSource was great at helping us pick a carpet within our budget.You do have to pick your own installer and they have plenty of business cards on their counter to chose from. At Home Depot, you also have to use "their" picked installer. We called Bozzo carpet installer and he came out that same day to get the measurements. I called Pat and gave him those measurements. Pat gave me a price and again, cheaper than Home Depot. We got lucky and the carpet was delivered in 3 days. From start to finish it took us only a week to get the carpet installed. If a home owner wants to save some additional money in regards to the carpet installer, have your old carpet and pad removed from the room and have the floor completely staple/nail free. Our installer was done in less than an hour.

Jason is my service person, he is wonderful he listens the issues I’m having (due to neighbors with unclean premises). In the beginning, I saw newborn baby mice crawling from their houses. Jason was helpful in where to set up barriers so they don’t move into my house. He has followed through with bimonthly insect spray and rat traps that are safe for my animals. He informs me when there is heavy activity in the rat traps.

Tree Brothers were amazing from start to finish. The crew managed to turn an ugly eyesore into a beautiful work of art through their masterful and artful shaping and trimming of the main and surrounding trees. My yard and the neighborhood have been enhanced and I immediately received complements from my neighbors for their beautiful work. They worked carefully and safely around the power and utility lines that ran through the trees. They came well prepared with personal safety gear, as well as the necessary pruning equipment. They arrived on time, were well organized, provided a clear estimate for the work to be done (they went above and beyond what was expected). The cleanup of the roof and the property left everything cleaner and neater than when they arrived. I reached out to a number of companies regarding required tree maintenance we needed done quickly, and Proven Quality was the first to respond - I'm so happy that they did! Within minutes of sending the quote request, they responded and made time to visit the property the following day (and even arrived early, unlike other contractors I've dealt with!). They were able to help us trim the branches required (needed to be done for an electrical upgrade per PG&E) and cleared the cut branches in about an hour. The price was comparable and the service exactly what we needed! They were also knowledgeable and able to give us recommendations for required cutting (per PG&E specifications) and for a future project (we will definitely be using them for!) at no extra cost. I'm very happy with these folks and look forward to working with them again soon!
I needed sudden death infected oaks removed. They were very tall and close to the home. Gulliermo and his crew came out and safely removed the trees and ground the stumps a foot under the soil. The canopy was shredded and the logs were trailered away. I am very pleased with the way everything was done.
Craig personally sculptured the 20 maple trees on our property and made them look glorious. Every time I walk in the garden or look out I am so very pleased at how wonderful he has made the garden look. In addition Craig did additional work that I needed done because my husband was ill. This is my second review of Salinas Valley Dental Care. I highly recommend this Dental facility. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff here. Esmeralda was the dental assistant that greeted me and took my X-rays. She was extremely caring. She walked me through each procedure step by step explaining what she was doing. Esmeralda’s professionalism was instrumental in calming my nerves. AJ was the hygienist who assisted Dr. Marlene to complete my work up. They were very thorough and reviewed my dental options with me. I appreciate their patience as I asked my many questions. I can seriously say, they eased my fears and I feel confident in the dental plan they have recommended. I like Dr. Marlene’s bedside manner and look forward to working with her! The coordinator I worked with to review my financial obligation was wonderful.
I had several negative experiences going to the dentist as a child which has led to my fear of the dentist. To overcome this fear, I have been told you need to find the right dentist. A dentist who has a friendly, caring staff, has a relaxing and comfortable environment , personalized and high tech dental care and treatments, and most importantly a dentist who is qualified and who you can trust. I am totally impressed with all the staff I met at Salinas Valley Dental Care and look forward to have them put a smile back on my face!
My review is for Dr. T . I want to thank her so much for showing patience with me throughout the appointment. Currently pregnant & have an overactive gag reflex . I know it can be very difficult for a dentist to check our teeth when we have gag reflexes .

Dr. Pamela Kirkwood was very present with me. I have had many Great adjustments from both her and Dr Russell, the other chiropractor on staff. They do more than just spine work. Both have adjusted my wrist, elbows & jaws.

Definitely recommend Dr.Barr. He is an amazing & knowledgeable chiropractor!!! I get a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck and he found the root cause of my problem. I recommend him to everyone who suffers from pain because he will truly listen and works with his patients to get these issues resolved. The staff is great and the appointment availability is very flexible.

Dr. Amaral and staff are beyond caring. They spend time with you and your pet, and keep your pet in the best situation possible. Treatment is appropriate for my dogs different situations, with a measured approach that I really appreciate. No unnecessary tests that I have experienced before at other practices. Level of care is extraordinary. I have been coming here for many years with different DR's they have high level of experience and empathy. Vet techs too. I will not trust my animals to anyone else. All of the people that work in this establishment are the most caring I have ever met. This includes Dr. Finnegan. They are sensitive to your needs and take the time helping your animal. I had to recently put my pet down and they helped me get thru it. Very gentle to my pet dog. One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make and they were very caring. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who has a pet
The entire office is pleasant and easy to work with. I always feel like they truly have our pets' best interest at heart. Many other veterinarian offices are obviously more concerned about the business end of things than the health of the animals. I often feel like the other offices are trying to up-sell you. Dr. Dena Eckerdt will voluntarily tell you that you can buy products and medications from her but it is much cheaper other places. They also are great with my pets, even the very difficult ones.

It's a second time going there with our puppy first time was amazing. Second time there was a little bit of miscommunication with how much hair we want to take it off, but they responded apologized and it doesn't take away from their good customer service and they are amazing communication in the past.

Very good deal, and decent massage. I did the 20 foot massage. I requested they be extra gentle and the guy did a great job. It's a nice clean and stylish environment. There is some noise from the mall traffic, so bring your headphone with relaxing music.
