I was always afraid to trust anyone with my curls and had a hard time finding someone who truly knew how to cut curls the correct way. Bailee lightned my hair and added some red. I left with a beautiful color and cut and my curls where not damaged. Her knowledge and skill set is amazing and I won't go anywhere else for a cut or color. I highly recommend Inspire Beauty!

I travel for work and hadn't had my hair cut in months. We just moved into the area 5 weeks ago so I wasn't familiar with any barber shops. After seeing the good reviews for this place I went ahead and called for a booking. Got booked the next day early in the morning. Upon entry the vibes were great. Greeted with smiles and friendly "how you doing?" Sat down and my barber Manny approached me, confirmed my appointment and got to work. Made nice easy small talk and then I let him to his thing. Best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Low fade with a #1 on the sides and a little more taken off the top than your usual fade. Manny nailed it. Upon leaving the other barbers thanked me for coming by and I felt like a million bucks. This is the place to go and make your regular spot if you don't already have one. If I wasn't here temporally this is where I'd be going for all my haircuts.
I'm very particular with my barbershops. When I'm in town this where I go, spot checks all the boxes. Jules is the man. Great conversation and killer cut. Clean and courteous, I enjoy my time in the chair. Will not be disappointed or there's something wrong with you.

I called around 1130am and asked if there were 2 pedicure appointments available around 2p; and they had 2 appointments available for 230p. While this salon does have walk-ins available, I had read many reviews that stated that if you made appointments, you would get 1:1 attention from the owners, Tim & Jennifer. While we were about 25 minutes early, the owners were quick to put my husband and in the pedicure chairs.One of the reasons I chose this salon was the bags that are put in the pedicure tubs; because that showed me that the owners were understanding of cleanliness and keeping infections down.Tim & Jennifer are the owners of this gem in Redding, CA. The prices were reasonable and both took such great care of our toes. We felt like valued customers. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!!

A little over a year ago I was looking to get my nails done for a special occasion. I'd had some bad experiences so I called around looking for the right feel. I made my one-time appointment with Lisa and I loved her so much I ended up coming back in 3 weeks to get my nails done again. It's a year later and I have been getting my nails done by Lisa every 3 weeks. I used to feel bad because I always have to have my kids with me but Claws is welcoming and understanding and Lisa is amazing - she's become extended family for us. My very girly daughter is always so pleased that I have pretty, girly nails and I always feel pretty and pampered when I leave. Not to mention I am HARD on my nails and the job Lisa does holds up like gangbusters! Im so glad I stumbled upon Claws last year and that I ended up with Lisa... I so look forward to my time there.
Keep in Mind Appointments Highly Preferred. With that said on rare occasions I've been able to get my nails done by walking in. Very fair and reasonable prices for the area. Super clean and they do a thorough job.

i get my eyebrows and mustache waxed here LOL . I also, get my nails done and i’ve done my feet maybe twice but i honestly love them. the women take extra precautions while doing my feet because, i’m diabetic and the man that does my nails is very gentle and has given me advice on how to help heal my cuticles. my eyebrows always come out amazing and i never feel judged here . I just went through a one year long depression and didn’t take care of my self at all . My last visit i walked out feeling confident again and i’m very grateful. I have lived in redding for three years and have never went anywhere else

I went to get multiple wax services done today. I so appreciate them accommodating me with add on waxing services last minute.
What I wasn’t fond of is the Brazilian waxing room, near the bathroom downstairs. (The wax itself was great.) I was told to get undressed from the waist down and get on the table and the waxer would be right back. Mind you, the door is facing the hallway where clients go to the bathroom or go to other rooms to get massages. I’m laying down and the door opens and people could see right in if they wanted to. I have my cooter out for other clients to possibly see. I don’t care if the waxer sees, she’s the one waxing me. After the wax was done, I then sat up at the edge of the waxing table to get my underwear and shorts back on. Then the door opens so the waxer can leave while I’m sitting there with my cooter and belly rolls out. Lol!! Again, a client could see right in if they wanted to.
On top of that, I had a guy friend who I ran into in this same place during this session. I would be MORTIFIED if he happened to go use the bathroom as the waxer was walking out and he saw me exposed.
I would have been perfectly fine if the waxer would stay in the room as I quickly undressed from the waist down without opening the door. And let me get dressed before she left.
Like I said earlier. The wax was great. I got a Brazilian, underarm, lip, chin & eyebrows wax. I spent some money there today. The only thing is my modesty during the Brazilian.

I tried this new massage place, and it was great! This petite beautiful Chinese girl really knows how to give a massage. She knows all the pressure points to dig deep into the muscle and also uses an electronic massaging device with special lotion. The results were outstanding. After my massage I went directly to Costco and when walking around I noticed that I was smiling, and my body was so relaxed I felt like I was sleepwalking. People must have looked at me and thought why is that guy so happy. I highly recommend this place.

Sabrina did a fantastic job on my brows. Color and shape are so natural looking you cannot tell they are tattooed. I just look like I have perfect brows, straight out of bed. <3 Them, <3 Sabrina.

Had no expectations as a walk in. I just wanted a sauna and was grateful I could get in. Didn't realize it was a dry sauna but it was still very hot and relaxing. The bench was a little small (I'm 5'3", 115 lb.). 30 minutes was perfect. The salt room was a little cold so I'd ask for a blanket next time. You basically sit in a very comfortable chair in a room with nice music and do nothing. Breathe. I saw a very thin layer of salt on the arms of the other chairs when done (30 minutes), but couldn't really tell if anything was happening. Being still for this long was a nice treat at 2 p.m. Next time I'll bring my rosary. I'm going back for the spa package.

Esthetician Sara W, is beyond amazing, she will give you all the tools and education about skin care, and the facials she gives are top notch. Massage therapist, Blake, is phenomenal. Every-time I get a massage by Blake I feel amazing, he is the best massage therapist I have went to (and I have gone to a lot). Thank you Sara and Blake for your amazing skills.

This place did AMAZING on my boyfriend’s eyebrow piercing, as well as gave a second opinion on my septum that went extremely poorly at Fetch. Our piercer explained every step in detail and how to properly heal this piercing as well as the risks that came with getting it.
The jewelry was priced on the higher end because it’s super good quality!!! But is worth it in the end to heal the piercing well.

Iron Mountain is my favorite place to get tattooed in Redding. It’s a real shop with real folks with real skills. I’ve always been happy with every piece I’ve received, which is many over the years. ive been to shops all over los angeles but nothing compares to this place. the artist wade really listens to what you want & talks you through the process (also gave me great suggestions for how to make my coverup look better). i really appreciated the care & attention to detail, ive never had an artist put that much effort into making my tattoo look perfect. the studio is also super clean & everyone is very nice & welcoming.

Last night (06/18/24) around 2230 my wife went to get ready for bed and noticed water/sewage had backed up from both of our bathroom shower drains and toilets leaking into both of my bathrooms and master bedroom and made an incredible mess. No toilets, showers or baths anywhere in the house could be used as this made the problem worse. We called Mr. Rooter in Redding California, and they were at our house within an hour. We met our plumber Hunter, who met us with a smile and got right to work. Hunter found the clean-out that was clogged and proceeded to work his magic. After some serious snaking of our pipes, Hunter was able to clear the obstruction and get things moving again. Hunter ran the camera down through the pipes to ensure it was clear. I strongly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. As horrible as the situation was, Hunter was very professional and knowledgeable and put my family at ease throughout the entire process.

I worked with Ahern & Sons way back in 1994 when the company had just finished a generational transfer. The 24 years old son found himself in charge with his mother running the office. They tried out a new contractor who hired me. It took me a month to realize the contractor was a full-time drunk who hung out in the company hotel room all day drinking instead of supplying materials. tools or getting direction from inspectors and lead contractors. When I could'nt get reinbursed for materials I bought because he had already claimed them at the office, I walked away without a word. However,. from my contact with Jeff and his mother I assure you they are fine people who always strive for the best at everything they attempt. It's just the core of their nature that will always be with them. They took that contractor out of the field and put him in the office writing bids but let him go 4 months later, they are good people and wise too.I was not a direct employee yet they paid me to take a 4 hour class to get a state certification for flexible underground gas line connections, they introduced me to custom-order kevlar pipe dough that can pass a 50 psi test. Their family had established standard heights for drains and pressure lines that anticipated future installation problems, their wisdom ran deep. As I was only 29 back then, It is only now that I realize how much I gained from just being around them. I hope the future was good to them.
They could have easily sold us a new toilet, but the woman on the office phone said they would see if it could be fixed first. The tech who made the house call did, indeed fix the problem, saving us a few hundred dollars.
Honest and efficient, a great combination that is rare in this day and age. Ii will gladly recommend them to anyone who has plumbing issues.

We needed to replace our water heater. Earl’s plumbing was very helpful and honest in regards to the types of possible upgrades we could go with. There was no pressure and we went with what was affordable for us. They came the next day and the installation was flawless.
These guys will make every effort to fix your plumbing problem. I had my main sewer line completely backed up only to find out it was broken in two places. Ray, the owner was responsive and was quick to get his crew out to my place and do the work necessary to get everything running again. Don't hesitate to call these guys.
Our home warrenty sent Schuler Plumbing for what we thought was a clogged bathtub drain. The gentleman that came was great he knew right away that it was something different and he fixed it quick and with no problems. The gentleman was kind, respectful and explained everthing he was doing.
We recently had to have a shower valve replaced. This involved cutting into the drywall behind the shower, installing new fixtures, and retrofitting a 1963 shower stall to finally join the modern age! The plumber was very friendly and took the time to explain the job to me. Everyone was kind and the work was done fast! A huge bonus was the cost— less than half of what some of the other “Big Name” plumbers in Redding quoted the job at! I highly recommend Sentry Plumbing!

Looked at an issue caused by the city and got the parts and made the calls and what needed to be done with the city for me. I had power back up not only the same day but within a couple of hours.
When we bought this house, the dishwasher leaked. Wes came out and was focused on solving the puzzle, and found out it wasn't level. When the previous owner came by for mail, she admitted that she couldn't get it fixed, and was surprised to hear that it was fixed. Wes was very professional and efficient.

I worked with Aaron Schmidt recently at Design Time for my DIY shower project and he did a great job for me from beginning to end. My wife and I caught him at 3:55pm on Saturday (They close at 4) and he was happy to stay a bit late to listen to what we were looking for, show us quite a few options, and ultimately point us in the right direction.After the sale he stayed in constant communication about the status of our order and let us know when it showed up. We were going to purchase tile over the counter at Lowe's but in the end we're happy we spent a little bit extra for the level of service and quality of product we got from Aaron.
Ron was highly responsive to my initial call to replace fencing, including a gate. He came at the appointed time, made measurements and gave me a quote on the spot. Within a week all the work was completed, with extra perks of removing additional material. The work performed is good quality and the pricing was fair. Before he finished, I asked for pricing on additional repair to house siding. He and his crew are personable. Definitely will call for additional work as needed.

I called North Valley Builders to determine why my home suddenly started making loud pop sounds and to examine stress cracks that appeared at the same time. I was afraid there might be a structural issue. I called on a Friday and Dave came to my home the following Monday. We talked for a bit and he inspected my home, including attic and crawl space. He explained nothing seemed out of place, but how the weather (rain & snow) along with temperature variations probably created a situation that will remedy itself, with time. We did a master bath remodel and I'm SOOO happy we chose Eric Ross Tile. They were so helpful every step of the way. John Day was great at making sure I had lots of options for the new bathroom. We recently had Metals Direct install a new 27x30 metal garage to replace one that collapsed from a heavy snow load. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and Metals Direct's super support throughout, especially Erik and Annalissa. Erik helped plan a structure with heavier load-bearing capacity and a steeper roof pitch. Importantly to me, he suggested small changes to the original dimensions that reduced the bracing requirements, and therefore the cost.
This was a first-time build for Metals Direct in our county. Annalissa drove all the way over to deal directly with the responsible county department and their detailed requirements, some of which differed from her experience, and otherwise could have been "gotchas". She also discovered that there was an incomplete final inspection from an earlier build at our place, which threatened to sideline this project. Annalissa to the rescue! She worked out an arrangement that allowed our work to proceed.
We used our own contractor for the concrete pad. I was impressed with the way that Annalissa stitched together our contractor's busy schedule, Metals Direct's multiple bookings, and difficult weather to get the job done. I was especially impressed with her courtesy in staying in touch with updates. And she always called back when I had questions.
I want to put in a word for the crew, too. Really hard working and courteous. Left the area neat and clean. And the quality of work / attention to detail was excellent.

I had Dale come out after purchasing a home, that had gone through inspections before closing escrow. Unfortunately, the inspectors I had prior to closing escrow did not do their job and missed huge issues with the home. Dale did what the others wouldn't do and crawled under my house, despite the muddy conditions, he found live termites, termite damage as well as other damage that was detrimental to my home. Without Dale I would have a larger issue on my hands. Dale treated my home, he was on time, kind, professional and extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, he makes you feel like family. I wish I had used Dale from the very beginning, he would have saved me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend Dale!

Well, I don't even know where to start... First, I want to say that Dr. Moore is the absolute best, and his staff are excellent. I have suffered from headaches for 5 years! Some of them were 17-26 days at a time. I have been to many doctors, including an endometriosis specialist (I have stage 4 endometriosis), and everything I was recommended to try didn't work. I was told to try and change out my IUD, get massages, and injections in the back of my neck, and take tension headache medication (which I took for a year and was a highly addictive medication that started to cause memory loss and I wasn't told about any of that), some other medications and acupuncture. I was diagnosed with tension headaches with occasional migraines, but nothing anyone recommended worked. My boyfriend talked me into going to Dr. Moore, and for the FIRST time in 5 years, my headaches are under control. He was willing to listen to me and took it seriously. He did x-rays and found out that my neck has many issues, and so does my back. After a month under his care, I have only had a headache or two. I am beyond thankful and amazed at how well I am doing. All thanks to Dr. Moore!!
I’m from out of the area and was doing work in Mineral. I am a regular chiropractic patient, but found myself needing an adjustment to alleviate a sudden onset of pain that was interfering with my work rest periods. After six months of hip pain I buckled and contacted Vertical Chiropractic. Much to my surprise my hips were fine but lower back problems were causing the pain to radiate to my hips. i received relief from the ongoing pain after my first visit and now after three weeks of weekly appointments I am nearly 100% pain free. I am so thankful for Brian's knowledge and persistence in getting to the root of the problem. My only regret is that I didn't go earlier.
Dr. Karen Shaw and Stuff are the best Vet I have ever used. Sooo helpful, explains everything, I have a very difficult Pony and she can handle him very well. Needed to get my cat a general health check-up. He was completely shaken up by putting him in the carrier and the car. Dr.Uhler handled him with kindness and finished the exam and treatment in short order so he could go home. Very good place to take your four-legged family members!
Everyone from the front desk to the vet tech and the vet were kind and friendly. My cat was treated with love and gentleness. Vet Williams was knowledgeable and had solutions for my cats problems and figured out the best was to treat her. I was looking for a good vet and feel like I have found one. Thank you.

Such a good experience! Jessica got my long haired Queensland healer Stella on late notice for a massive hair cut and did an amazing job. Stella has never come back from the groomer looking this good! Stella’s attitude when I came for pick up was like a child at a birthday party she was ecstatic, I definitely recommend and will be taking my dogs to her from now on!

Balanced yoga gave me a whole new outlook on yoga, movement, exercise and community. This studio is amazing, along with all of the instructors who make you feel right at home there. The class are fun and make an hour go by so quickly. I never knew I could enjoy hot yoga so much until now! Every class was worth it!
If anyone is looking for a beautiful but small intimate place to rent at a decent price for their wedding contact Ash and Jazz here because these ladies are so helpful with making sure a stressed out bride has the most perfect day! My husband and I had our needs met and were reassured by them constantly we just got married January and they helped to make me feel so much better. We had about 60-70 guests there and it was perfect for us. I recommend them for any special event you might have !

They are both super professional, clean, and they both work very hard. Last Christmas they had so many gifts from clients. I think they are the best in town to this day because they continue to grow and show me new skills. They are worth more than they charge.

Elliot Accupuncture has literally changed my life. Cameryn is treating me for sciatica and IBS with needles and herbs. Amazing driving school for my teenage daughter! They took her all over driving giving her a well rounded experience.! My daughter drove with A1 safety and was mortified by her experience there. This school gave me the courage to drive after one lesson! Silas is amazing as well as the older gentleman from Hawaii ?after one lesson I practiced for over a month daily and now I'm a licensed driver. Such an awesome place to go and I highly recommend their services.
