“There not enough compliments I can tell you about Western cooling and heating company.<br>Recently, when one of my air conditioning units stoped supplying, cool air and began acting wonky, I called my home warranty company...... No answer .... So I left a message. The temperature was in triple digits. The company never called back. I had to get the situation taken care of.<br>I did my due diligence, checked reviews, and decided Western was the company I would call. My call was promptly answered, and Thomas came out the same day.<br>He examined both units found the problem and repaired it on the spot. He had to go onto the roof to access the condensers. Oh, did I mention the temperature was in the triple digits? I was and am impressed with the response and the quality of the service I received. I thought the cost to me was fair. Thank you, Thomas. “Above and beyond. Another HVAC company messes up with my heater last winter. They refused to come back until they had multiple service calls in Palm Springs. The home warranty company put me in touch with Aldco. They drove to help me out within a few hours. Immediately saw the problem and fixed it.I called today about a tune up on my air conditioning. “In 2017, my A/C unit stopped working on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. I had a home warranty, but if you have home warranty insurance, you know how it goes: You call them. You hold for an hour. They take your service fee. You get transferred. You get disconnected. You call back. Wait again for hours for someone to answer the phone. You beg the warranty company to have one of their "licensed contractors" come out quickly because the outside temperature is approaching 118 degrees. You ultimately come to the realization that because of your crappy home warranty, you will probably be out of air conditioning for at least a week or two. You drink. Ultimately, the warranty company agreed to replace my A/C unit but they wanted to charge me an additional $3500.00 out of pocket to cover the new unit "government regulations upgrade". As a last cry for help, I contacted On Call Air. I spoke with Adrian and he could not have been nicer, more professional, or compassionate. He came out, fixed the problem for a few hundred dollars and it has worked perfectly from 2017 until yesterday. As always, my A/C unit began to make unconscionable noises on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend. Raphael (one of the owners) answered the phone after the first ring! He looked at the video that I sent him of my A/C and immediately assisted me with shutting off my A/C unit until they arrived. Adrian arrived within two hours to diagnose the issue. He told me that On Call Air does not contract with home warranty companies any more because they are so dishonest! Adrian diagnosed the issue and gave me two options: He could do another inexpensive "quick fix" or install a new unit (both cost options were very, very fair). I decided to go with the new unit installation...and this is the part of my review where a company transitions from awesome to exceptional.... At 4:00 PM, they drove all the way out to Riverside to pick up my new unit. They returned at around 8:00 PM and with limited lighting and while working in the heat, they installed my new unit. The crew worked nonstop, completing the job around 11:00 PM. The crew were so polite, knowledgeable, hard working, efficient, and above fair with their prices. I can see from all of the other 5 star reviews that these guys are completely legit! Highly, highly recommended!!!!!!! Saved by On Call Air twice!“

“Cavanaugh has been the shining light in an otherwise bad situation with Fidelity Home Warranty concerning getting a new AC Unit shipped and installed in our home. For their part, Cavanaugh was great and very sympathtic to our plight. They even ended up going down and picking up the unit themselves. Being that we live in the desert and were without AC in our bedrooms for eleven (11) weeks in the middle of the summer, we were not in the best of moods and vented many times to Cavanaugh during this long process, even though none it the issues were their fault.Special thanks to MaryAnn in the office and Guststovo the technician who installed to unit who were very patient and went the extra mile to keep us informed and did a great job on the install and follow up.Great company, very good people. As for Fedility, that is a totally different story.....“

“Tony again is a master at what he does for ac/furnance knowledge. It took 6 techs from separate companies 2 1/2 months to come up with a solution to no avail. Tony came in 20 minutes later my furnace is fixed and running. I will NEVER use anyone else but Tony!“

“We bought our house about a year and a half ago so we experienced a summer here before. This summer was a little different. We started noticing that the temperature in the house was struggling to stay down. Our frustration was when we would have people over and noticed how uncomfortably hot they were because the temperature was not budging. With that, the AC was constantly running struggling to stay down and the last straw was when we received an $1,100 electric bill. We called Paul and within 24 hours he had Julien coming to thoroughly check our house (checked the attic, duct system, insulation, our unit etc.). He took photos and talked to Paul and his team and came up with the best options. Paul personally came to our home and gave us three detailed options. I know nothing about the A/C world and he made sure to explain everything to me in detail with photos of our attic etc. Fast forward to our decision and the process… Paul himself came on site a few times with his amazing technicians. His crew was very knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. Paul and comfort Air made what could have been a nightmare into a great experience. We are so happy with the decision. Already looking at the usage on our electric bill, we see that our average kWh usage has already decreased significantly (even keeping the temperature lower in the house!) I highly recommend this professional and knowledgeable company with anyone struggling with this desert heat!“
