“Reading the other reviews, I can second all of them. I'd just add that as a woman in her late 60s I feel totally comfortable here. The coaches take everyone seriously and I have never felt talked down to, as can happen in some gyms. There is a lovely balance of serious lifting and socializing between lifts. It has been very fun getting to know people of all ages and life paths I might not have had the chance to meet in the rest of my everyday life. Whether you are a long term, serious lifter, or someone who has never lifted but keeps hearing you probably should (yes I'm especially talking to you my fellow "mature" women) check them out. You will not regret it.“

Then he tried different exercises until he found the ones that were pain free but improved my mobility and my strength. I am so lucky to have found Jonathan. After hearing about my struggle with back pain when lifting he offered to give me tips on my form and did an incredible stretch session that honestly left me feeling 2 inches taller! “After injuring my shoulder shoveling snow while in the mountains during snowpocalyose last winter, I knew it was time to get my body back in shape. Enter, Bliss Fitness and Health! From the first Rebel Recess class that I took, I have never felt more comfortable (except for the burpees!!) or more welcomed into a fitness space. The teachers are fantastic; the space is gorgeous; and most importantly after every class I feel euphoric, strong, and, dare I say, filled with bliss.“
“I began training with Abu in 2022 however our work together was cut short by a family tragedy. I came to him in October of 2023 with a specific goal in mind. I needed to get fit for a week of skiing in Canada planned for the last week of January 2024. Prior to getting started, Abu patiently listened as I explained that I was prepared to push myself to get in maximum shape. He outlined a program of skiing related exercises, gradually increasing the intensity, to have me peak for my trip. The compact facility is well equipped. His ability to explain and illustrate movements is extraordinary. I feel he intuitively senses the fine line between asking me for more and recognizing when I have reached exhaustion. He gave me routines to do between sessions with a caution to "not overtrain". The last month included three weeks of high volume rotations (strength, balance, agility, speed, etc.). The final week we tapered to the finish. When I boarded the plane the next day, I knew I was ready. Abu is incredibly knowledgeable and can be a stern taskmaster when needed. He is also warm, funny and welcoming. Training With Abu is a great joy! I highly recommend his services to anyone; from a person reengaging with fitness to dedicated athletes looking to move up to the Next Level.“

“I found Flagship when I was recovering from an injury and interested in giving CrossFit workouts a try, and the coaches here are amazing! Nikki, Anais, and Liz do a great job of introducing each exercise, and it feels like there's a good amount of personal attention even when the classes are larger. The coaches make sure you feel comfortable with the movements and have the proper form, and help adjust workouts for any injuries. The equipment is really nice and the gym is spacious, so I enjoy coming here to exercise. I like that the workouts are published in advance so I know what I'm getting into, and I also really appreciate that they have multiple membership options, all transparently priced on their website. Joining Flagship was an excellent decision, and I'm looking forward to continuing my fitness journey with them!“
“Ariel is the best PT I've ever had! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is kind and really knows her stuff. All I had to do was describe some pain in my hip or leg and she would come up with ways to test my strength in the area then give me exercises that strengthened those specific muscles. I was always so impressed with how quickly she could assess and find solutions. On top of that, she is super kind and encouraging, so when I was feeling discouraged about maybe never going backpacking again, she explained to me that if I did the assigned exercises there was no reason why I couldn't go again. About a year later, I did go backpacking and had no trouble with my hip or back. You'd be lucky to get appointments with Ariel - she's always pretty booked but well worth the wait!“
