I was under very tight time constraints, but they managed to squeeze me into their busy schedule on very short notice. Sukh responded to all my texts, emails and calls in a very timely manner. Reliable tradespeople are hard to find these days, but everyone form Marks Roofing Ltd. exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this company.

a swift & stunning removal of the mice in my apartment by seaside pest control! big shoutout to omaire (who said not to mention him, because he is humble..if the big boss is reading-he should be rewarded for his good character/people skills)! after setting up the traps & steel wool blocks, he assured me the pests would be gone within a few weeks (at worst) & he was 100% correct (with time to spare) which i believe was due to the masterful placement of the traps he set (while making sure the traps were pet-safe for my bunny, cookie). over the next few weeks, i was relieved to have clear & quick text message correspondance with seaside pest control about my next steps...that was in late may & today in mid july, omaire returned after making very sure that the issue had been solved... safe to say: seaside came,saw & conquered the mouse issue i had with great professionalism & assurance. 10/10!
For my own personal reasons, I delayed painting my exterior walls for many years. Last year, I asked another company to try painting a few samples, but the job was terrible and kept delaying. It wasted my best spring/summer time to paint the exterior walls.
This year, I must do it right. I did quite a lot of research to find the best painting company, and I found it! Johnny was so patient to listen to my needs. He gave me good advice on the job, and also on choosing the materials. He followed through the whole project. Even a tiny little piece of wood, he wanted to do it right. Any time I needed his advice, he’s there right away. Because the exterior walls have not been painted for many years, and also because of the nature of the wood grain, it’s not an easy job to make the colours of different pieces of wood even, but Johnny’s standard is very high. He tried his best to find a solution for it. And he did it right and with all his heart!
Johnny has his best crew to help me out. The crew was like switching on the turbo engine to do the job. They are really “Pro”! Again, they’re doing the job with all their hearts! I really mean each and everyone is doing it with his heart! It’s so amazing to see the result! And I’m so glad that I have chosen Grandview Painting! Thank you so much Johnny and the whole crew!!

It was so hard to find a good barber since moving from Toronto. Sooooo happy we found Sukh from hair castle. Not only is he the best at fades, his customer service skills were awesome too. Took us in right away (even though they were busy), made us feel welcomed, and he took his time and put 100% effort in my boyfriend’s cut. My boyfriend has Caribbean hair and the fade was so smooth. Definitely going back even though it’s a 40 min drive. Not to mention every guy coming out of there had the perfect fade. It wasn’t just sukh who was great barber. They all seemed to be great!

Masters' Touch is a wonderful place. Diane and Lana are warm, friendly, competent stylists. With a great haircut, my hair is easy to care for. I style my hair in the morning, add a bit of hairspray, and off I go, confident that I look my personal best. That means a lot anytime, and certainly when you're in your 70's:).
I see Lina, as she was by stylist at another salon and she does amazing cuts for curly hair, as I struggle with hair loss she knows how important it is for me to have volume. Lina really tells you what is best for your hair and so great to talk to overall. I would recommend her for any haircut styles and Ty Hair has reasonable prices too. I have also seen Laura who is a lovely lady, so great to talk to and she as well gives great hair cuts and listens to your wants. It is very hard to find someone who can cut curls properly and they do great job on mine! This salon is a great local service in our neighborhood!!

It's hard to find a place that can work on very thick, coily hair and they do a perfect job every time. No appointment is necessary and can walk in any time and love that.

On the pricier side but you definitely get what you pay for. The spa is really clean, comfortable and spacious. We booked for a Saturday and were helped by the owner and another technician. Both were very friendly and pleasant. We had a good chat - this is great for extroverts who love to chat. I got a lux pedicure and my friend got a lux manicure, this felt very different to other fast/minimal nail salons I’ve been to. Would recommend if you want to have a proper pamper.

I booked an appointment with Alistair to get my nails done and the process was amazing all throughout!!! I wanted a fun set with charms but didn’t have anything specific in mind. They listened to me explain the vibes I had envisioned and they came up with super fun ideas for me! I went in last week as I needed help installing a new lock on my motorcycle monolock case (Givi). I had purchased a new Givi lock as I had to break the old one as I was unable to open the previous lock and had to break it while at camping in Chilliwack.
Dave agreed to help me with no hesitation whatsoever and he helped me replace the lock even though it was a bit tedious as the lock was not easily accessible.
We changed the lock and unfortunately, the case might have been damaged when I had to force it open at camping. The new lock works fine but because of the case…it was a waste of time in the end and I felt really bad for Dave as he gave it his all!!
Dave went way and above and beyond in helping me when he didn’t really have to and could have just told me he dosent deal with those type of locks for motorcycle cases like mine….instead with no hesitation he helped me and even though I insisted he wouldn’t accept any money for the sale because the case would still not operate (not his fault). I will have to send it back to Givi and claim it under warranty.
From my past experiences, Dave runs an honest business and always does his best to help all his customers and goes above and beyond! Please be kind and support this local business and if I could I would give them a ‘locksmith of the year’ ?!
While assisting me he also helped customers over the phone and his pricing was more than fair in my opinion compared to what other locksmiths charge. Of course, some customers are rude and want the best deal even when they are located all the way in Langley.? (I overheard; I might have charged the customer double especially after wanting a ‘rush’ service because it was the lock for a washroom at a ⛽️ gas station way out in Langley…go figure.

Floor Decor has done a lot of work for our church over the years. They installed LVT tiles in our fellowship hall around 15 years ago which has seen a lot of traffic and a couple of floods. Even the constant moving of tables and chairs and it still looks great after all this time. They also installed ceramic tiles in our down stairs entrance area and hallway over 10 years ago and they still look great. They also installed the carpet in our sanctuary over 10 years ago and its the squares that you glue down together and they still look great and are so durable. They recommended that type of carpet and it was such a good choice. Recently they replaced the carpet on a couple of our stairways and did a great job and matched the other carpet perfectly. The owner of Rug and Remnants, Ed, is an amazing guy with a fantastic selection of flooring and carpets with amazing pricing. We used his company a few years back to have some carpet and floors installed. We had an issue with his contractor, Rodney and his crew, that was sent over to us. They installed the carpets flawlessly but ruined the flooring causing us thousands of dollars in repairs. After several tradesmen said "Who did this to your floor?", we wrote a review of our experience with Rodney. It hadn't mattered how long it had been since the floor had been installed, Ed came over immediately to asses the floors and offered to get them fixed. We highly recommended Rug and Remnants for Ed and his kind, knowledgeable and courteous staff but would not recommend Rodney as a contractor
Haris and the team did an exceptional job with the replacement of a vinyl decking. They were fast and efficient, and had a keen eye for detail. Will definitely be using again without hesitation for future projects.

Great service, from the first phone call to the last hug goodbye. Oliva General Contracting made it happen. We did a complete renovation from top to bottom, new kitchen, new 1 and half bathroom (including new tub, tiling, and niche), laundry room, raising ceilings, widening doorways, new flooring, new lighting, new plumbing... Basically a whole house remodel. We had open communication and a smooth transaction throughout it all. Yasmany was honest, helpful, and a true professional. We had minor hiccups like any transaction but never once did we not feel heard or understood. Yasmany just continued to prove all these horrible contractor stories wrong. He handled everything perfectly and educated us along the way. We were living in the home during the renovation with a newborn baby and a toddler and they honestly went above and beyond to accommodate.. Everyday they did the best clean up they could and put any leftover tools higher up incase my toddler ran near the work zone etc. This is just one of the many kind and gracious acts they did. We 10000% recommend Oliva General Contracting and their team of experts. --- This review is quite late. The project was completed several months back but we had a busy few months with a colicky baby, medical issues and well life in general, no matter what though... a swift & stunning removal of the mice in my apartment by seaside pest control! big shoutout to omaire (who said not to mention him, because he is humble..if the big boss is reading-he should be rewarded for his good character/people skills)! after setting up the traps & steel wool blocks, he assured me the pests would be gone within a few weeks (at worst) & he was 100% correct (with time to spare) which i believe was due to the masterful placement of the traps he set (while making sure the traps were pet-safe for my bunny, cookie). over the next few weeks, i was relieved to have clear & quick text message correspondance with seaside pest control about my next steps...that was in late may & today in mid july, omaire returned after making very sure that the issue had been solved... safe to say: seaside came,saw & conquered the mouse issue i had with great professionalism & assurance. 10/10!
Three weeks ago, I heared an uninvited guest in my attic. After consulting several pest control companies, I finally chose ideal pest control. After receiving my inquiry, they gave a reasonable price and came to my house to start work the next day. The technician ZABEE carefully checked all round of the house and sealed all possible enter points of squirrel on the roof, leaving only one one way door there.I hope this uninvited guest will leave quietly in a few days.

There are no words to describe how grateful we are to Simon, Shane, Isabella and their team. They are helped us with the mice infestation in our home and spent time to investigate and examine the whole house. Our strata complex hired their own useless pest control company but they did 1% of what Raincity did for us and the mice issue just gotten worse. Raincity sealed all entry points and set up traps, and they do follow ups. It is difficult to find people these days who care about what they do, but Raincity just exceeds expectations with service and outcome. I have called other large famous pest control companies, but none seemed to care about anything except the cost. If you are looking for honest caring people, try Raincity.

We hired Michael @ Pacifica Landscape Works to design and implement a large scale backyard design plan to surround our new pool. It involved bringing together multiple components including new decking, tile, a pool house structure and a significant amount of planting, I found Michael and his landscaping contractors to be a great fit for our job! I’ve tried about 10 different RMTs in the area and by far Aman is the best. He makes you feel very comfortable while you’re there. I’ve gone to him for prenatal massage and for regular and both are amazing. I always walk out feeling better and rarely need to see chiro anymore.
My dad went and got a cupping done on his back and had a great experience. He said Chen Han was very informative and well spoken, explaining the significance for the cupping and answering all the questions he had. He was also very gentle and made my dad very comfortable for his first time cupping.

We've had the wonderful staff at FHAH care for our dogs for more than 30 years. Whether it's been litters of Sheltie pups, single or multiple beloved pets (Shelties and Labradors), and/or our show dogs, the needs of each one is always carefully evaluated, with treatment options and costs clearly explained. Dr Renu and all her staff are fabulous. Each visit we find Apollo staff professional, knowledgeable, caring, approachable, reasonably priced and the office is super clean. My dog Tikka loves going to the Vet. Sounds crazy but it’s true. She dances around the waiting area and can’t wait to see Dr Renu and all the staff. Tikka has all her annual care and boards here overnight several times a year. Plus Tikka had surgery for ripping one of her toes almost off. We also had a scary week of vomiting/diarrhea that needed treating. Tikka is 3.5 yr old GSP and under Dr Renu’s care since she was 6 months old. One of things that is a huge benefit is Apollo is open extended hours 7 days a week. Which is awesome for boarding during the day /overnight or last minute appointments. In Maple Ridge, Surrey, Prince George and Arizona and by far Dr Renu has been the most knowledgeable, supportive and has never tried to over charge or upsale. I am a retired Registered Nurse and truly grateful for all the love and care Tikka has received. I hope Surrey residents are aware of how lucky we are to have Apollo Animal Hospital and all the dedicated staff. Definitely not an easy find in other parts of the Province or even Arizona. Anne has groomed our two dogs for years. She is truly caring and does a great job.
We recently had our fluff ball groomed and we are beyond pleased with the entire experience. Yume did a fantastic job with all aspects covered by our chosen package, our fluff ball is less fluffy than before but walking tall and proud after this experience. Although you can have your pet groomed elsewhere at a lower cost (not by much mind you), the reduced stress of having the one groomer come to you with them only focused on your pet makes the usual stresses evaporate.
Been bringing my dog here for a year now and I absolutely love this place. My dog can be quite difficult because of some unfortunate experiences with previous groomers, where he would be sad for days after. However, with this groomer, he's completely fine after! The owners are two lovely women with the most radiant energy. I feel safe leaving my baby with them. Their prices are quite reasonable, and my dog looks wonderful after every visit. Highly recommend this place!

After I spent a long time searching for a groomer that does hand stripping, I was recommended to reach out to Animal Haven. I immediately called to confirm about the hand stripping for my Welsh Terrier puppy. I was assigned a date (few weeks from my call). The day finally came on Feb 27 2024 and I could not be happier with the work that Michele did on my dog. Upon arriving, not only did she immediately recognize the breed but she also was knowledgeable of the breed standard and the style that my dog's stripping needed to be like to comply with that standard. Despite being only 8 months old and being on the grooming table only 2 times before, she handled him in such way that he was very comfortable and showing not a single sign of stress upon pickup. I am now scheduled to come back every few weeks to keep working on his coat. My experience here was outstanding and I wish I could rate more than five stars only.Hugo V.

Immediately I liked him. I found him to be Unassuming and unpretentious. You just never know what you’re going to find when you ‘pin the tail on the donkey’ using Google.
Dr. Jason is a competent traditional Chinese doctor. He goes the extra mile to ensure he has done all he can do for his patients. His comprehensive treatments have been very beneficial for my ailments and regarding my soul, cathartic. I’d never had acupuncture before and he set me at ease straight away.
Avery was very knowledgeable and caring - explaining how all my symptoms were interrelated and could be treated by the methods of traditional Chinese medicine. I appreciated that his acupuncture was with smaller needles and not as intense as I'd experienced in the past. I feel remarkably better after just one session.

He teaches in an easy to understand way and makes sure to perfect each skill before moving on to the next.I first went to him to get lessons on my parking but he then saw that my basics such as turning needed work. Through this I became much more confident in my driving and am glad to have built good and safe driving habits.The car used has a steering wheel, brakes and acceleration on the passengers side so I felt very safe while learning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I finally passed my Class 7 driving test and I am very grateful to Bhupinder and Ipinderjit. They have guided and supported me all throughout. Their dedication to making sure I learned the rules and ready to take the test is impressive. They are both very knowledgeable and professional. Aside from that, they are calm and patient - which I believe is truly helpful during driving.

I had a great experience with my instructor Partish at U-Pass driving school to get my class 7 (N) licence. After driving with Partish I passed the test on my first try. Partish had lots of knowledge that he made easy to understand. He was kind, polite and easy to talk to. When we started lessons, parallel and reverse parking were my biggest struggles, but Partish was exact with his teaching style and made it very easy to grasp the techniques. By the 2nd-3rd lesson I could already see a huge improvement in my overall driving ability and made me feel very confident for the test. For these reasons I highly recommend Partish and U-Pass driving school.

I had an amazing experience at Pacific Riding School! As a complete beginner who had never even sat on a motorbike, I was nervous, but Travis and Tony were incredible instructors. Travis’s theory lessons were super informative, and Tony made the riding lessons so much fun and manageable. I also met Summer, who brought such calm and positive energy during my MST. Special shoutout to Taro, who helped me and gave me the confidence during the group ride to YVR airport. Thanks to all of them, I was confidently riding at 80 km/h on the highway after just four sessions. Today, I passed my road test and got my full Class 6 license. Huge thanks to everyone at Pacific Riding School—you guys rock.
