“They are absolutely awesome. They really care about making sure everything is a good experience for both cats and their humans. They were very clear about what they were doing and made sure that we could be present when they were collecting samples for tests which helped put us and our senior cat at ease. It's so much nicer to be able to avoid waiting rooms filled with people and curious pets. No dogs stressing out my cats by sniffing at their crates. They made sure that there was someone holding and comforting our cat the whole visit. And the prices are really good compared to other places I've been. As much as I don't want more people clogging up all the appointment availability, I can't help but very highly recommend them for all your feline veterinary needs.“

“Without a doubt, the vets, techs and staff at Riverview are the finest veterinary staff I’ve come across in a long lifetime of owning pets. They’re also really kind people! I lucked into finding this practice when I moved up to Vancouver during the Pandemic. The location is convenient and the facility is large, clean and bright. But, truly, it’s the people who keep us coming back. I have had four dogs and three cats as patients of Dr Scott and Dr Lisa. Since we started coming to this vet, my grown children have started bringing in the furry grandbabies as well. We’ve converted neighbors and friends as well who are also amazed by the top-notch care. My animals are so well cared for and every time we come in or call, the entire staff greets us like old friends. I know my animals are cared for and respected. I really appreciate the common sense approach to veterinary medicine mixed with the latest data and treatments. My eldest dog passed away somewhat unexpectedly from a stroke at home a few weeks ago. The entire staff at Riverview has been enormously empathetic and they’ve gone out of their way to ease my grief. It means the world to me that these people take the loss of a much beloved pet so seriously. I will continue to sing high praises of Riverview Animal Hospital to anyone listening!“

“I have two cats, m + f, that were served at another Vet. I explained that the female was "difficult" when getting shots and offered to help hold the cat, but that vet was huffy and said she could administer a shot without my help. She got bitten and then complained that I had a nasty cat. Time for a new vet. Went to Whipple Creek because it's a shorter trip from my home (called for appointment first). Explained the "shot problem" my one cat (the other is quite mellow). I was allowed to assist in holding her down (along with the Vet Tech). Shot delivered with a spit and me-howl -- then it was over. No-one bitten and no further problems. I was offered (and accepted) a 3-year rabies vaccine (so fewer shots over time). Don't understand the negative reviews, as I've had nothing but good experiences with this vet since I started with them shortly after they set up shop here.“

“I love love love Summit. Dr. Katie and Dr. Tyler are very skilled and thoughtful vets. They are compassionate and always give lots of options. I feel empowered to make the right decisions for my pet's health with their guidance. There's been many occasions where they could have upsold me or pressured me into more and tests as I have one veryyyyy old dog Zelda and one kinda old neurotic dog Argo, but they never have. When I first brought Zelda to Dr. Tyler Vance it was during COVID and she was having heart problems and I thought I was going to need to put her down. Dr. Vance fine tuned her medications (she's on like 6) but once we got her pain and fluid balance issues dialed in my dog is doing really great and she's 17. I got several more great years with my dog due to this clinic. The vets always answer all my questions and are very through. Now onto the other great part, the office staff here is wonderful! I've never had a vet before with great office staff AND great doctors. This is very hard to find. You can text message or email in medication refill requests and they will text you back to let you know it's ready! How easy and wonderful is that?! One time Zelda had a suspected UTI and I think it was Kelsey who walked up and down the street with us and Zelda and managed to catch her urine in a little tray when she squatted. I felt that was above and beyond. That's the level of dedication the staff has. Lastly, and what prompted me to make sure I wrote another review for this place is we went on a family vacation recently and had to bring our dogs with us last minute. We brought some dog antianxiety medicine but not nearly enough. When we got to the vacation house Argo wouldn't stop howling and panting and it was a nightmare. I called Summit and within 2 hours they got medication approved and sent into a local pharmacy for my dog. Wow they saved my entire vacation. Thank you Summit!!!!!!!!!“

I showed up early and was seen early. I was given options and a quote before services. Obviously they're going to be a bit more than your regular vet, but at least half of the emergency vet. The price was under what I imagined it would cost. Crossing fingers that my cat heals.“
