“I love love love Summit. Dr. Katie and Dr. Tyler are very skilled and thoughtful vets. They are compassionate and always give lots of options. I feel empowered to make the right decisions for my pet's health with their guidance. There's been many occasions where they could have upsold me or pressured me into more and tests as I have one veryyyyy old dog Zelda and one kinda old neurotic dog Argo, but they never have. When I first brought Zelda to Dr. Tyler Vance it was during COVID and she was having heart problems and I thought I was going to need to put her down. Dr. Vance fine tuned her medications (she's on like 6) but once we got her pain and fluid balance issues dialed in my dog is doing really great and she's 17. I got several more great years with my dog due to this clinic. The vets always answer all my questions and are very through. Now onto the other great part, the office staff here is wonderful! I've never had a vet before with great office staff AND great doctors. This is very hard to find. You can text message or email in medication refill requests and they will text you back to let you know it's ready! How easy and wonderful is that?! One time Zelda had a suspected UTI and I think it was Kelsey who walked up and down the street with us and Zelda and managed to catch her urine in a little tray when she squatted. I felt that was above and beyond. That's the level of dedication the staff has. Lastly, and what prompted me to make sure I wrote another review for this place is we went on a family vacation recently and had to bring our dogs with us last minute. We brought some dog antianxiety medicine but not nearly enough. When we got to the vacation house Argo wouldn't stop howling and panting and it was a nightmare. I called Summit and within 2 hours they got medication approved and sent into a local pharmacy for my dog. Wow they saved my entire vacation. Thank you Summit!!!!!!!!!“

“I've been going to Banfield for years and finally had it, my dog had a ear infection and Banfield wouldn't even call back.Called Cascade veterinarian and got in 3 hours later and can not even find the right words on how great they are, very thorough, caring and friendly. Their help and treatment was above and beyond.“

“Without a doubt, the vets, techs and staff at Riverview are the finest veterinary staff I’ve come across in a long lifetime of owning pets. They’re also really kind people! I lucked into finding this practice when I moved up to Vancouver during the Pandemic. The location is convenient and the facility is large, clean and bright. But, truly, it’s the people who keep us coming back. I have had four dogs and three cats as patients of Dr Scott and Dr Lisa. Since we started coming to this vet, my grown children have started bringing in the furry grandbabies as well. We’ve converted neighbors and friends as well who are also amazed by the top-notch care. My animals are so well cared for and every time we come in or call, the entire staff greets us like old friends. I know my animals are cared for and respected. I really appreciate the common sense approach to veterinary medicine mixed with the latest data and treatments. My eldest dog passed away somewhat unexpectedly from a stroke at home a few weeks ago. The entire staff at Riverview has been enormously empathetic and they’ve gone out of their way to ease my grief. It means the world to me that these people take the loss of a much beloved pet so seriously. I will continue to sing high praises of Riverview Animal Hospital to anyone listening!“

“Dr. Dykehouse, along with all of the staff that he has working for him, including his wife, Jill, have been absolutely wonderful to us, and our kitties. I started seeing Dr. Dykehouse when my oldest son was 1 year old. My son is now 32! This wonderful Dr. has taken care of all of the cats we have had. We had 5 cats at one time, and they lived to be about 18 years old. Right now, I still have one of these 5 kitties, and he is now almost 24 years old!!!!! He is still happy and healthy, because of Argay Cat Clinic.“

“I’ve only been here once but it was enough for me to see the vet working with my dog truly cared. She explained what was going on with my pup, prescribed the appropriate meds and walked me through how to administer them along with additional feedback for care & dog training recommendations. The assistant even called me a week later to check on how she’s doing & even asked for photos to make sure she was healing well. I will definitely be coming back when needed. “I love this bunch! I have a totally different opinion then some of these reviews. I will admit when I first met Doc Hughes I wasn't sure, he seemed almost too serious!We got to know him and while he isnt the throw a party because we showed up kind of guy he is totally competent and a pleasure to deal with. He is absolutely hands down the vet I am most comfortable with in all my 64 years and numerous dogs. He never fails to explain things to me in a way I understand (medical moron that I am), and has my dog Luna's best interests at heart and I feel it every time we visit. Luna is happy with him as well, a good sign!My last dog Shadow had Congestive Heart Failure and the vet I was using did not diagnose her properly. Doc Hughes did and recommend an amazing Cardiologist for her, and I am convinced those 2 helped to keep Shadow alive for almost 15 years. Her heart was bad but thanks to them she lived well to her last day.David and all the staff, are caring kind people and I have no desire to go anywhere else.“
