“I came in with a dog having an ear infection and left a few says later with a dog that has a respiratory infection. Anyone else have this issue? We went in the 19th of Jan. They did the best they could though and things have slowly gotten better except my two dogs are sharing the infection.“

“****Updated**** from ⭐️⭐️ stars to 5⭐️I can’t begin to express how graceful and kind Dr. DeManuelle is! She called me the next morning after the experience I had below. She had no idea what happened and was not aware of the reasons listed below as to why Frankie wasn’t seen. She was so open and willing to work around my schedule and wanted us to come back and make sure Frankie was taken care of! She’s the best and so understanding! It’s so hard to find a Veterinarian like her who cares so much for animals! ❤️I really wanted to give this 5 stars, however I’m really frustrated with the cancellation policy. No where did I have the power to control accidents, I can’t control where I live and where this clinic is located. I live about 25-35 minutes away. I left early and even on my way I called and left the clinic a message stating there was really bad traffic and once I was able to get closer see that it was a pretty bad accident that was causing the delay in movement. Our appointment was at 1130am and we’ve always been on time to the previous appointments prior to this. I called again and reached Abby the receptionist and explained I’m still coming I’m literally just down the street, by this time it was 1139am and gps said I would arrive at 1143am she stated that unfortunately after 10 minutes it’s a no show and cancelled appointment and that we need to reschedule and we wouldn’t be seen even though I stated I’m literally on the way close by she wouldn’t budge or let us be seen and then said we would still be charged for the cancellation fee which I assumed was $25-$50 but when she said $132 equivalent to an exam fee! She also stated that’s a common practice in most healthcare clinics…. And a strict policy. I told her I am not working right now I’m on strike I’m a frontline healthcare worker and I literally just wasted time and gas to come to this appointment just to be turned away and charged an unreasonable insane no show fee. I’m not getting paid during this time and people are struggling to get by in this economy. For the record most health care facilities don’t charge that high cancellation fee and most places have a grace period of 15 minutes anything over 15 minutes would require a reschedule. The email for the appointment reminder states “ Please give 24 hour notice for cancellation, or a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the appointment will be charged.” nowhere does it say you have a 10 minute grace period. I get if it’s not listed because others could take advantage of it but they should offer a grace period waiver for a 1 time cancellation which I had no control over and Abby could have kindly reached out to the Veternerian to see if it was okay that I was less than 5 minutes away can we still be seen. She didn’t even do that.I really like Dr. DeManuelle, she’s so compassionate and you can just see how much she cares for animals I knew my Frenchbulldog was in good hands and safe. She explained everything with ease and even showed me visually what she was going to do procedure wise as I have a medical background. I give her 5 stars! ⭐️After this rescheduled appointment sadly I won’t be coming back and after reading the other reviews I see why so many are not returning due to this unreasonable cancellation policy and I feel for the review with the foster/rescue dog passing day of the appointment and were still charged and how concerned and cordial Abby was with them…so far most of the staff has been great especially in the back office however Abby could use more training other times when I have come in she doesn’t even look up to acknowledge us or let us know she will be with us to check in, in a few.“

Our pet warmed up to them very quickly, and the vet himself (while giving off an initial crusty old guy vibe) is possibly the nicest person I have ever met. “I would like to share how Much my boy Jax loves going here and doing the treadmill.We came with advice from our vet to help with muscle building for his knees and to get some much needed weight loss. He has since lost 12 lbs and can walk almost as much as he could before. They are wonderful group of women. I was concerned because my boy is deaf he was born that way so he was some strange quirks and is not a fan of water. But he looks forward to going. I highly recommend you try it if you need it.“
