“I recently participated in a group training session at Train. With Happy Hour Athletics and it was an amazing experience! Tran, the trainer, is highly knowledgeable and created a supportive and motivating environment throughout the entire session.
The group training format was fantastic because it allowed for interaction and collaboration with other participants. It was great to work alongside like-minded individuals who shared similar fitness goals. The trainer is so excellent at adapting the exercises to accommodate different fitness levels, ensuring that everyone felt challenged and engaged.
The training sessions were well-structured and focused on a variety of exercises that targeted different muscle groups. The trainer provided clear instructions and guidance, ensuring proper form and technique. I could really feel the benefits of the workouts, both in terms of strength and endurance.
The facilities at Train. are top-notch, with well-maintained equipment and a clean and spacious training area. The staff was friendly and always available to answer any questions or provide additional support.
Overall, I highly recommend Train. and Happy Hour Athletics for group training. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fitness enthusiast, the trainers and the group dynamic will help you achieve your fitness goals in a fun and supportive environment.“
“Our Senior community offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our instructor Joy is able to adapt to all our ability levels with ease and fun! The residents have enjoyed their classes and we look forward to when they come!“
“It has almost been a year since I’ve been on my fitness journey with Brian as my coach…and honestly, I can only say great things! It was February of 2023 when I decided I wanted to step into the year living a healthier lifestyle. My goals were to not only focus on sustainable weight loss, but to also learn how to incorporate nutritious foods into my diet — making it sustainable on a daily basis, and to be consistent with exercise so that I am able to build and gain muscle.Brian embodies the qualities of being personable, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable. His commitment to tailoring workouts to my specific goals has been instrumental in my journey. He does weekly check-ins, which creates a supportive environment, and his openness to answering questions demonstrates a genuine dedication to my progress. I’m thrilled to say that I've achieved my goals and am looking forward to another year of progress! Highly recommend!“
“StarFit is fantastic! It was my first real gym experience and I felt welcomed and at home from day 1. I love how each workout feels balanced while also pushing me. Definitely recommend if you want an inclusive environment with great trainers!“
“Joining F45 has been, by far, one of the best decisions I've ever made when it comes to my fitness goals. The best part about it is it takes off the mental load of what to do for each workout, and you have professional trainers in every class who can help you get the correct form. Glad I decided to join, and I can promise you will too.“
“Everything you want in a neighborhood gym. Staff pushes and supports you, every piece of equipment you need, and open late.“
“I've had a great experience since starting here in the summer of 2023. The staff is very friendly and professional. The culture here is very welcoming and supportive to everyone. I have met some really cool people and we've improved together. There is great comradery all around. CFH is a great representation of both the Herndon and Crossfit communities. I would highly recommend CFH to anyone, from beginner to expert, who is interested in getting healthier with CrossFit.And if that wasn't enough. There are also cute puppies on site regularly.“
“Love love love Bounce! I have a soft body type w/less than 10 lbs of body fat to lose...but hardly any muscle...and I desperately needed some help getting toned.“
“I've enjoyed my Pilates lessons at Bodies by Bonnie, and Rebecca has been a great instructor. I knew next to nothing about Pilates other than it could help someone with chronic back issues. Rebecca helped me to slowly and patiently build my strength and confidence using Pilates exercises. I'm doing a lot better now than I was when I started. I think the attention to breath and form that Pilates requires will help with all my physical activities in the future.“
“Igor is an amazing personal trainer! I’ve been training with him for almost 5 years and he still surprises us with his variety of exercises-you don’t get bored. He is able to modify all exercises to individual needs and he’s great with helping you recover if you’ve had an injury or surgery. He also works out with you-he’s not one to stand around just counting for you. Igor also gives you workout plans while you’re traveling and will Zoom sessions too. His prices are so reasonable given the amount of training and talent he brings. And, he’s just one of the nicest people you’ll meet. My strength, stamina and balance are better than some of the younger clients and that’s thanks to Igor. I ran my first Army 10 Miler and also finished the Stadium Spartan race!“
“I am loving my experience. My favorite instructor is Codie. The workouts are adaptable to your own personal needs.Clients are friendlySpace is clean and organizedI have found my new village.“
“Sarah is an incredible pilates instructor. She takes the time to plan customized sessions that cater to body type, strengths, and limitations. Because of Sarah, I have increased my core strength and improved balance and flexibility over the past year. On top of all that, Sarah is genuinely a good person and pleasant to be around. Highly recommend!“
“Personal training in a supportive small group for over 10 years has kept me motivated, safe, and fit … most of all the workouts are a major contributor to my continued good health. Everyone can work at their own level and have the benefit of being with workout buddies. Wide range of training equipment keeps the workouts interesting, effective and fun. The trainers are excellent professionals who go through an in-house program before working with clients to ensure coaching consistency.“
“I reached out to 1TO1 Fitness to fix my imbalanced set of muscles throughout my body due to some prior unfortunate circumstances. I had 4 weeks before an important lifetime event to get my body repaired for the rigors of distant travel and high activity at the destination. 1TO1 fitness rose to the challenge and created a program of 8 focused sessions. I told them my personality demanded a hands-on approach with a PT who was a "slave driver" and I was assigned Erich. Erich was unrelenting (in a good way) and he helped me to stretch my joints and strengthen my muscles, which is exactly what I needed. He also made my goals his 100% and kept me motivated telling me that I could make the progress I wanted with his help. That kept me motivated and working hard to make it so. And he was right! Thankfully, with his help, I stood straighter and became stronger -- exactly what I needed! It's amazing what we accomplished all we did in just eight weeks! Thank you 1TO1 Fitness and a special shout-out to Erich supported by Teresa (Reston Manager) and Stephen (set my schedule)! You all rock!“
“Matt Gordon is the BEST physical therapist. He has done wonders for my frozen shoulders. I would recommend him whole-heartedly to anyone needing physical therapy.“
“Kevin is a terrific trainer. He offered me a complimentary training session when I started to see if I liked his service and the workout routine we would be doing. We built up from there, increasing weights and reps and level of difficulty. He pushes his clients but never too hard to cause pain or injury. He’s also funny and interesting to talk to during workouts. I highly recommend Kevin for your 1:1 training needs.“
“Zach trained me in person in 2017. He was able to work with my budget and develop an in person training program for me that developed into a great friendship. Soon afterwards, I started getting chronically ill and Zach was always there to give me advice on exercises I could do without exasperating my various conditions. He even still sends me studies about exercise/nutrition and things I can do to help.“
“Kristen has provided invaluable knowledge about how to improve my cycling, running, rock climbing, and be more well rounded. A quick conversation about how I was engaging my body during cycling led to a moment that completely changed how I approach the activity.“
“I’ve been using On the Go Fitness about a year now and I have to say the team is awesome! I’ve had personal trainers off and on for over two decades. I was in the military and needed one to keep me maxing my PT scores. (...because the scores DO matter no matter what you want to believe.) While many things play into your success in the military, I argue that “excellent” performance on your PT tests does a lot psychologically to show you are ready for the challenges of leadership. You don’t need to be a gym rat to be a good leader. You just need to show up once a year, and effortlessly max what is expected of you. And, this is where making an investment in yourself by having an outstanding personal trainer pays dividends in promotional opportunities.I’ve also used personal trainers to just help me keep myself fit to enjoy the games of life. Whether it is snowboarding, windsurfing, running in fun OCRs, climbing with your friends in the gym, or just trying something new. When you are healthy and fit, you get to play more. You get to see what is beyond your sofa and refrigerator. You get to stop feeling tired, and get to laugh and enjoy life more.I could go to the gym and push weights. I’m smart enough to know what I’m doing on my own and not get hurt. TBH, most people don’t. I’ve spent years in the gyms and I see you, and I’m cringing because I know you are going to be hurting at some point. Or you are just going to walk away because you feel intimidated by those people that are going to hurt themselves at some point. A trainer, these trainers in particular, are going to make sure that never happens.Don’t think of personal trainers as luxuries. I’m not rich. I drive old cars, and use duct tape in most of my household repairs. Think of personal trainers as a necessity in helping you live the best life you can. After all, there are no “do overs” with life. When that big white light comes, will you be saying “I wish I learned to ski, or I wish I could have played with my grandkids more”? Being physically healthy and fit will not only help you live longer, but it will help you live better. The research and science is there. This is not an infomercial, it is reality. And, the best part… it doesn’t matter how old you are, how tired you are, or how broken you are. If you are 80, you will keep your independence. If you are 50 and going through menopause, it will help you manage that madness. If you are 40 and now feeling the pain of your younger years of incorrectly pumping iron or doing things you shouldn’t have they will help you overcome those “hangovers”. And if you are 20, you will learn the true way of fitness and conditioning to keep you in the best health as you manage the challenges life will throw at you.You can try and “duct tape” your health, but odds are not in your favor. Leave that for your HVAC or cracked window. Get a trainer. Invest in yourself and the life you want to live. Dave and his team will ensure your investment has the highest and most enduring in lifelong returns.“
“Peter is great! Super knowledgeable and he has a huge heart, really cares about the well-being of his clients and is invested in helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence. 10/10 recommend.“
“"Dr. Rosa" as we call her is the best personal trainer I've ever had - by far. My wife and I started having her come train us during the pandemic and two years in have invested in twice weekly visits up from once a week. She's that good. The personalized attention, focus on healing injuries and strengthening weaknesses, her sensitivities and smarts, all contribute to our improved health and strength in countless ways. We are so grateful to have found her!“
“Nice local gym with great personal trainers for all levels. A great place for people who want a quiet, small space to workout while supporting a small business.“
“I have been coming to LiveFIT for more than 10 years, and this is a hidden special gem of a place. You get personal training in a clean and comfortable gym located in the lower level of a single family home in a great neighborhood. Chris provides excellent training, adjusts to your schedule, and keeps the entire routine interesting and challenging. This training studio is terrific!“
“I had no idea what to do in the gym or how to change my diet to to not only lose weight but follow through and make a true life change. Alex created a very comprehensive exercise and nutrition plan for me and after one year I’m in the best shape I’ve been. I feel more educated on nutrition and how to achieve and maintain my fitness goals. Alex was patient, informative, and fun to work with! He took the time to listen to what I wanted to work towards and also held me accountable. Alex’s guidance was truly a game changer for me!“
“Tony Malave is an excellent personal trainer. He makes working out a fun, positive experience--it never seems like a chore. I have worked out with him for a number of years and I have always been happy with my sessions. Tony is extremely personable and is always mixing up my workouts so I don't feel as though I am doing the same exercises each time. He can get pretty creative sometimes. Personal training is perfect for me because once I put it down on my calendar, it is an appointment that I feel like I have to keep. I feel like I am working out with a friend 1 or 2 times per week and I would highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a personal trainer!“
“Blackout has been a game changer in my fitness journey - small groups with lot of personal focus targeting muscle building and fat-loss(HIIT etc.). As someone who's been through a number of injuries, their personal focus in both the prescribed exercises and during the sessions really helped with my confidence and in my journey to getting fit and powerful again. Love this place.“
