“I recently had RM Banning Company install a new roof on my home. They have done so on two previous occasions, 1988 and 2005. I selected them again without doing any market research because of my memorable experience with their dedication to making sure their customer received the best service they could provide from start to finish. The work started with a very comprehensive assessment of the condition of my roof (outside and inside), my chimney, and gutter system accompanied with photos of what was found. When the actual work started, all the teams actually showed up earlier than scheduled. I was kept informed of progress and issues by the team chiefs. Cleanup was equally impressive - hard to tell they were even at my home! The office staff provided me with prompt service in scheduling the various teams and providing me with the invoices. So, all-in-all, another great experience with RM Banning Company!“

“I rarely post reviews, usually it is when I am dissatisfied and want to warn others. This post is for the exact opposite reason. I am very particular and these guys are top notch. Very responsive and great customer service were the start. But then the tile installers were amazing. It is truely an art for them and they crafted a masterpiece. Measuring, cutting and laying each tile meticulously as if it were their own home. Beautiful work! I only got 1 other quote and their pricing was comparable so I would say they also have competitive pricing. Good experience all around.“

“They restored/renovated a water damaged bathroom for me. The crew was amazing and when one of them broke out the laser light level and showed me how the walls in a house I had built weren't level or square I was amazed...and he worked the mud and cut the tile I selected and made the restroom amazing. The delay in time was all the bone colored tubs ordered showing up were 14 1/2 inches tall with an 8 inch deep bowl...the water wouldn't even cover your thighs...so I had to settle for a tub and toilet I went to Home Depot to get...it was white...other than that fact...I love my new bathroom room. I went out and bought the tile so I can do the basement bathroom this coming summer, so I can have the bathrooms matching again. Needless to say they are the company I will have tile my basement bathroom floor and shower walls so the bathrooms will match.Look how it looks like the title is wrapping around the corners on the shower walls...Love this job.Service: Tile work installation“

“Easy Renovations did an amazing job building out the wall in my living room and installing a fireplace, large screen tv and soundbar. I think what’s important for this review is noting how professional they were throughout the project. Kayla, who is the company co-founder, initially met with me to understand what I was trying to accomplish, and what my concerns were with the project (timing, cost, and symmetry). She spent a considerable amount of time designing the wall according to my specifications and helped me understand details that I had not even considered. Eric, her co-founder, and husband drew out the wall in detail so that we could see exactly what the re-built wall would look like. I am not sure if it was then, or when they covered my whole living room in plastic to prevent dust, that I knew their work was going to exceed my expectations. It did, and it is so spectacular that you cannot tell that the new wall was not always there. They matched every detail in symmetry and color and added very professional lighting. “After interviewing multiple builders, we chose Kingston to put an addition onto our recently purchased house in Reston. This was a big project and we chose them because they had the best combination of understanding our vision, good references, reasonable cost, hand-holding design capabilities, and seemed easy to work with. They gutted an entire floor, knocked out and rebuilt exterior walls, and built three new bedrooms and two new bathrooms. They also built a new deck and screened-in porch.

Design - Emily flawlessly designed our bathrooms which look absolutely amazing and are functional too. She obtained our input and raw vision and gave us some design choices which we loved. She was very easy to work with and responsive to new choices when we requested different options.

Construction - Our house is 50 years old and had a few surprises inside the walls and ceilings. Phil and his team explained different options and the pros/cons of each decision point. He clarified situations and choices in layman's terms which I really appreciated. Josh managed the project and provided a calm influence in the eyes of the storm. MacGyver was rock solid in building anything that was asked. Not everything went flawlessly because of the age and structure of our house but Kingston successfully overcame each adverse situation.

Kingston told us the project would take 5-6 months and that is exactly how long it took. At times, Kingston had 10-15 people working on the project at one time. We often felt like we had an army working for us! The crew consistently worked hard.

Some of the highlights of Kingston’s build: We were very happy with how the HVAC turned out as our architect designed mini-splits and we ended up not needing those. We were thrilled that the existing ceiling duct work was reduced. That was a really great surprise. And the bathrooms look fabulous!

We are hiring Kingston for our next phase (kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, laundry room remodel, new flooring and lighting) and are eager to work with them again.“
