UPDATE: Tuck came back today, one week later to retrieve his cones and provide one final inspection. He then power washed the street where work was done and power washed our new driveway. He didn't have to do that and yet he did which makes us appreciate him even more. Tuck has exceeded our expectations.TL;DR Tuck is the man. He knows everything about VDOT aprons and driveways. His reputation precedes him with the VDOT inspectors. Tuck GC provided an honest quote, a clearly written contract, pulled all permits, and communicated with me throughout the process. His crew was respectful, performed work out of scope (drainage) that need to be fixed before the driveway pour, and ultimately repoured my driveway, apron, and sidewalk to our Town's standards. And then he power washed our new driveway. Tuck didn't have to do that and yet he did which makes us appreciate him even more.
