“We really like Vic and his team. They are prompt and do good work. My 4-star rating is due to my 10yr parts and labor warranty. I had a coil leak the Freon, creating one visit to charge the unit and get me cool again ($400), this included a splash of vinegar down the drains and a brief external hosing units off as well. The second visit to install the coils ($300). I was thinking 10yr parts and labor warranty with a unit failure would be free. This was well worth the price if no warranty, but it clearly states on original receipt 10 years parts and labor. Make sure you talk to Vic personally and understand warranties and any potential charges, as we commonly find, some things aren’t exactly what they say they are. Seems like the manufacturers would have to stand behind these costs, not the customer. Guessing in normal economy Vic would have eaten some of this, but understand we want him around and if it costs a bit it’s okay.“
